ok i'm going to say something controversial in the tags
#like innocent or guilty i have a lot of sympathy for luigi mangione i think the way the media and government are treating him are ridiculous#i'm sure he's facing awful conditions in prison#and i believe his former friends and classmates when they say he's a very kind person#but i also think that deep down this rich conventionally attractive former fratboy loves the media attention#like he is always very aware of where the cameras are and is making sure they're getting his good angles#and i'm sure the media is going to run with it to paint him as a narcissistic asshole#look though i'm going to keep defending him#but like i just know the media is going to run with it#the second i saw the picture of him smiling in the car i could imagine the ny post headline#something like “SICK and TWISTED killer Luigi Mangione GRINS leaving courthouse”#~uhc shooting
