This tale is from Nomansland, near Holford in Somerset and is said to reoccur every Christmas Eve. Appearing on the stroke of midnight, an old fashioned coach pulled by a team of spectral black horses goes up the driveway and back down again, before mysteriously vanishing again. Sometimes the coach has a female passenger. It is believed that her ghost is also sometimes seen walking between Holford and Nether Stowey, although the identity of this female ghost is a mystery...
