something that i would absolutely love for the show to do is to have percy and annabeth have another private moment to themselves. annabeth explaining the feud between poseidon and athena, and how it might mean that she and percy were destined to never be friends. only for percy to reassure her that their parents actions don't define them. that whatever happens in the future, he'll fight next to her. and annabeth assumes its because he needs someone who won't hesitate to make a tough decision, like he stated back at camp when he was picking people for the quest. only for him to correct her and say that it's because he considers her a friend.
#percy: whatever happens. i'll fight next to you.#annabeth: why? because you need someone who won't hesitate to push you down a flight of stairs?#percy: because you're my friend wise girl#*insert annabeth trying not to lose her cool in front if her new friend*#*percy definately noticing this about her and feeling very proud that he made her happy*#percy jackon and the olympians#percy jackson and the olympians#pjo text post#pjo#pjo headcanon#percy jackson#annabeth chase#percabeth#percabeth headcanon#percabeth friendship#percabeth fluff#these two become the best of fucking friends for the next four years#probably pjo tv spoilers too depending on how things go#pjo tv predictions#pjo tv concept

Honestly, I think from the moment that Percy found out that not every demigod has a loving mortal parent they can depend on, when they already can't depend on the gods, and that Annabeth specifically, hasn't had anyone take care of her like that since she was 7, he decided he would be the one to.
They take care of each other up to that point, but I think that's when he starts noticing how much she takes care of them. She already knew if she didn't no one else will. She protects them against humans, she stands with them against monsters, she always brings up the rear of the group when they're running, and she is always the first one to make a move when they're fighting. She does it because no one is going to protect her if she doesn't do it herself. No one is going to protect Grover and Percy if she isn't.
In the arch, he pretty much tells her he would fight the gods for her, and then he goes on to do just that.
Athena, the one person who was supposed to protect her willingly pushes monsters her way, she lets Echidna and the chimera into a place that was supposed to be safe. Her decision is that Annabeth should be punished, and say what you want, but I think she knew that Annabeth would think through every scenario and know that someone had to stay and hold them back. And I think she knew that Annabeth would be the one to stay. Because that's the way she raised her, knowing that no one cared whether she lived or died. And I think that's the cruellest part.
Which is why Percy's sacrifice means so much more. He not only made the decision to trade his life for hers and fight the monster so she and Grover could escape, but he also made the conscious choice to push back against Athena's wishes. He fought a goddess for her, Athena said "Annabeth will die for her impertinence" and Percy said "Not today, not ever"

SWEET NOTHING
pairing: luke castellan x reader
summary: y/n comforts luke after he sees percy claimed by poseidon.
word count: 600+
a/n: y'all i know. how many more morally grey characters can i write fics for? i couldn't help it, he's so bf in the first two episodes so this takes place in a world where heâs done nothing wrong <3
You watched as your boyfriendâs face changed after seeing the newest camp member, Percy Jackson, claimed by his father, Poseidon.Â
Luke wasnât one of the unclaimed kids, but he might as well have been. His relationship with his father Hermes was a strained one, but he pretended like it didnât bother him.Â
But now, it was hard not to notice the sadness and frustration that had clouded Lukeâs face as he watched the trident appear above Percyâs head. Before you could go over to comfort him, he had already run away from the scene.Â
You decided to give him some space, figuring that he had gone back to his cabin. As the other camp members slowly dispersed, you looked around for Annabeth.Â
Upon laying your eyes on the dark-haired girl in the crowd of people, you beckoned her over.Â
âHey! Did you see that?â she asked you, excitedly.
âYeah, that was crazy!â you admitted. âHowâd you know he was Poseidonâs?â
âIâve been watching him.â
âOf course,â you smiled. Luke had told you about Annabeth's desire to find âThe Chosen One.âÂ
âWait- whereâs Luke?â she asked, as if on cue.
âI was gonna talk to you about that- I think he ran back to his cabin.â
âWhat- why?â
âI think he had some feelings about Percy being claimed, if you know what I mean.âÂ
âOh,â Annabeth replied, putting the pieces together.Â
âYeah, Iâm giving him some space right now, but do you have any advice on how to approach this? I donât want to upset him any more.â
âLook, Y/N, youâre his girlfriend. Just do your best to comfort him and Iâm sure heâll start to feel better.â
âI know, but youâre his sister! You know him best, what if I say the wrong thing?âÂ
âYou canât say the wrong thing. He loves you, Y/N. He just needs to see that someone is there for him.âÂ
âOkay, thank you, Annabeth,â you gave her a hug before heading in the direction of the Hermes cabin.Â
You were relieved to find that the other campers had not gotten back yet. You gently pushed open the door and found yourself facing your boyfriendâs back sitting on his bed.Â
âLuke?â you called out.
He turned to face you, hastily swiping at the tears that had fallen onto his cheeks.Â
âOh, sweet boy, come here,â you ran over to take him in your arms. He let his tears fall again, and your heart broke seeing him like this. You knew that he acted brave all the time, but deep down, he was hurting.
âHey, itâs okay. Just let it out,â you attempted to calm him down.Â
âWhy doesnât he care about me?â he cried.
âBaby, itâs okay. He doesnât matter, alright? It has nothing to do with you.âÂ
âYes, it does. Percy killed a minotaur and broke Clarisseâs spear and his dad just came swooping in.âÂ
âLook at me,â you pulled away to lift his face up. âYou are so, so special. Anyone that knows you can say that. Hell, youâre the best swordsman in this camp. But you know what else? Youâre kind, and caring, and you have all this compassion in your heart, despite it all. If he canât see your worth in that, then thatâs a reflection of him, not you.âÂ
Luke didnât say anything, instead he worked on catching his breath as you continued to rub his back and lay kisses on his forehead.Â
âThank you,â he said after a moment, still sniffling.Â
âFor what, baby?âÂ
âFor seeing me. And staying.â
âTo know you is to love you, Luke Castellan,â you gave him another kiss, this time on his lips.

if i see one more person saying that annabethâs character is âruinedâ because leahâs not blonde, iâm actually going to go insane. if you think that annabethâs motives and character are entirely defined by her hair color, you did not understand the books. her character goes so much further than her appearance. âbut leah doesnât uphold the dumb blonde stereotypeâ leah being annabeth ENHANCES annabethâs character arc by covering racism as well.
every single character in the riordanverse has been outcasted and turned away. this includes annabeth. you think that leahâs annabeth, a black girl in the early 2000s, is an exception to this? fuck, even in the episode with the chimera, itâs noticeable. now i dont know if this was intentional, but someone mentioned that the police officer had no problem with walker/percyâs blatant disrespect, but the SECOND leah very normally asks, âare we under arrest?â he accuses her of having a disrespectful tone.
annabethâs intelligence is in no way related to her hair color. leah portrays annabeth beautifully and i couldnât ask for anyone better.

pairing:Â luke castellan x daughter of poseidon!reader
summary:Â percy learns about the first girl luke castellan ever loved.
a/n:Â this is a lil sad. sorry about that. but i really like it and it came out of nowhere in like 2 days so i hope you enjoy despite the sadness. title from the mitski song
wc:Â 6.5k
warning(s): major character death; not shown but hangs over the whole fic. angst made angstier by fluffy flashbacks. mostly told through percyâs pov but includes luke, annabeth, and reader povs
also if you saw this before on another account DONT WORRY... that account was also me. im just doing some stuff behind the scenes right now as i figure stuff out lol i promise no plagiarism is going on
Percy thought that his head might explode.Â
He didnât know how he was still walking, honestly. His mom died, he killed aâ no, theâ Minotaur, all the Greek myths were real and his dad was one of them, and now he had to deal with that freak accident with Clarisse and the toilets.Â
At least he would be ready next time she tried to beat him up. Percy had been the new kid enough to know there would be a next time.
All he could do was stare at the Minotaur horn in his hands, the only sign that what happened outside the border was real. The horn in his hands and the hole in his heart.Â
Percy swallowed the lump in his throat. Heâd been thrown into the deep end, and the only thing on his mind was when he would start to drown.Â
âHey.â Percy looked up to see the counselor heâd met earlier with AnnabethâLuke. He tossed a ziploc bag at him and he caught it, taking a moment to look at what was in it.Â
âI stole you some toiletries from the camp store,â he explained. âThought it might make you feel more at home.âÂ
ââŚThanks.â He didnât know if Luke was joking, but the damage had already been done. And it was the nicest thing someone had done for him so far. He set it down next to his Minotaur shoebox. âIs this the best that it gets?âÂ
Lukeâs lips quirked up in a slight smile. âFor now. Weâre a little crowded, if you couldnât tell.âÂ
âJust a little bit.â Percy stood up from his sleeping bag and worked out the knot in his shoulder. âWhereâs your bed? Assuming you have one.âÂ
âI couldnât wrangle all these cats without some back support,â he said, and he pointed to a bed in the corner. It was the only one on its own without a bunk, and he had a fair amount of decorations. Counselor privileges, he figured. Percy walked over, Luke trailing behind him.Â
âNice place,â he said. Percy picked up the Yankeeâs cap on his bedside table and nodded as he looked back at him. âNice taste.âÂ
âItâs for Annabeth,â Luke said. âShe wanted us to match.âÂ
Percy nodded again in approval. âGood taste for both of you.â
Luke had various other things around â an alarm clock knocked over next to the baseball cap, a huskie sticker on the wall half-scraped off, a poster for an album he didnât recognize.Â
But the thing that caught his eye was a polaroid hanging on the wall, surrounded by a smattering of others varying in size.Â
The first one had to be an old pictureâLuke didnât have his scar, and the biggest smile stretched across his face. He had a girl close with an arm slung around her waist, and she mightâve been smiling even more than Luke. A bright energy emanated around her, something that must have transferred through the picture, because Percy found himself feeling a little better just looking at her. He wondered if she was a camper.Â
His eyes flicked to the next picture, which was another one of Luke and that girl. They were both laughing as she tried to put a blue hat on Lukeâs head, and he protested with a hand on her wrist. They were in the forefront of a baseball game, Percy noticed.
There were other pictures, tooâLuke, a girl dressed all punk, and what looked like a young version of Annabeth, most notablyâbut a majority of them were either Luke and that girl, or the girl all on her own. In every single one, she beamed brighter than the sun.Â
Percy pointed at the picture of Luke and the girl at the baseball game, his curiosity getting the better of him. âWhoâs that?â
That seemed to catch Luke off-guard, his lips parting for a moment as if he wanted to say something. It barely took him any time to get back on track, but Percy found himself frowning.Â
âThatâsâŚâ Luke cleared his throat, wet his lips, shook his head. âA friend. A very good friend.â
âDoes she go here?â Percy asked.Â
âShe did.âÂ
He frowned. âWhere is she, then?âÂ
âPercyââ Lukeâs voice was strained, but he didnât really notice as he went on.Â
âI didnât see her around,â he continued, âand you look pretty close.âÂ
Luke blinked a couple times, and Percy swore he could see the telltale glimmer of tears starting in his eyes. A muscle worked in his jaw, and suddenly Percy was worried that heâd said something horribly wrong. He had a talent for that, it seemed.Â
Fortunately, he was saved by the bellâconch shell?âand something like relief flooded through Lukeâs expression. Tension still coiled in his body.Â
âCome on,â he said, that camp counselor smile coming back as he put his hand on Percyâs shoulder and guided him away from the enclave. âThat means dinnerâs about to start.â
Percyâs frown deepened as curiosity won out again. âWas she yourââ
âYou donât wanna be late,â Luke continued, ignoring his attempt. âI assume youâre pretty hungry after two days spent out?â
Well, that only made him want to push harder. But Percy figured he wouldnât get anything out of himâespecially not now.Â
ââŚYeah,â Percy said. âStarving.â
An odd look flickered across his face, but again, it only lasted for a second before he was back to normal. He cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled, âEleven! Fall in!âÂ
Percy was at the back of the line by virtue of him being the new kid, and he found himself looking back at that picture of Luke and the girl. He didnât know why, but something drew him to her. Before Percy could think about it more, the line was moving and his growling stomach drew his attention away.Â
He would have plenty of time to ask Luke about it later.Â
Or rather, ask him and piss off the only person whoâd tried to be his friend so far.Â
âŚGods.Â
Maybe he was going to drown sooner than he thought.Â
-
âLukeââÂ
âNo!âÂ
âLuke, please!âÂ
âAnnabeth will kill me if she knowsââÂ
âShe wonât know!âÂ
âAlright, alrightâ stay still, you two!âÂ
Your mother laughed from behind the camera as you and Luke fought with each other, you trying your damnedest to get your Red Sox cap on his head as he tried his damnedest to stop you. The frantic laughter on both sides made it a little difficult for either of you to succeed in your quest, but eventually, you got the rock up the hill and the hat on his head.Â
âTake the picture, Mom!â you exclaimed, pulling Luke even closer by his arms so he couldnât get it off. âI need the proof!âÂ
âI knew this was a bad idea,â Luke groaned, staring at the camera as you wrapped your arm around his side and leaned into him. He could already imagine your victorious smile, brighter than the sun beating down on them in the stadium, and just the thought of it made one of his own flit across his lips.Â
âOh, shut up, Castellan,â you said. âYou chose to come to this game. Everyoneâs gonna know youâre a Red Sox fan now.â
âYou said you wouldnât tell her!â Luke defended, wrenching his arms free of your control to take the hat off his head. âI donât even care about baseball!âÂ
âYou care so much about it,â you said cloyingly, âand youâre ride or die for the Boston Red Sox.âÂ
âIf you say a single wordââÂ
âOkay, kids!â Your mother pointed at the seats next to her. âThe gameâs about to startâyou can keep arguing, but only if you sit down so I can see.âÂ
âSorry, Mom.â You grinned at her as you pulled Luke over to your seatsâthey were a step up from nosebleeds, but they were the ones closest to the balcony so you could at least peer over the railing down to the diamond.
âItâs alright, sweetheart.â She glanced at Luke with a smile, and he could really see where you got it from. âWeâve gotta make him a fan somehow.âÂ
âI guess I can live with the brand.â Luke set the cap back on your head once you were seated, purposefully pulling the brim a little over your eyes, and he smiled at you. âEven though it looks better on you, anyways.âÂ
âYou just donât have what it takes to be a Red Sox fan in the heart of Yank territory,â you mused, pushing the hat back up so you could see. âItâs fine.âÂ
Luke rolled his eyes, but he could hardly bite back his smile.Â
âI am glad you came, though,â you said, glancing back at him. âIâm glad you came with me in the first place. This is gonna be the best semester.â
âThanks for having me,â Luke said. âItâs⌠itâs been a while since Iâve left camp.âÂ
âFingers crossed for no monster attacks, eh?â You held up your hand. âAt least, not during the game. I could live with it happening any other time.âÂ
âDonât speak it into existence,â your mom said. âWeâre going to have a monster-free school year.âÂ
To humor her, you made a claw over your heart and pushed out. She hummed in satisfaction, and you looked over at Luke. âItâs gonna be fine.âÂ
âYeah,â he said. âBecause two kids like us arenât gonna draw any attention.âÂ
âOh, I know we will,â you said. âBut I know itâll be fine.âÂ
Luke frowned. âHow can you be so sure?âÂ
You shrugged with a smile. âIâve got you.â
And in that moment, he was thankful for the freakish heat that honestly made no sense in the springâat least it covered up any sign of what your words did to him.Â
Luke thought you were joking when you asked him if he wanted to come back home with you for the school year. He didnât know why you wanted to go back in the first place, being a Big Three kid that apparently had a death wish, but the thought of him leaving camp was almost inconceivable.Â
Even after you assured him you werenât joking, he still wasnât sure. He was on the run with you for three years, thenâŚÂ
Well, he couldnât think about it for too long. But Luke had been on the outskirts of regular society for so long, doing nothing but fighting for his life, that he didnât know if he could actually function at a normal school.
But it felt right for you two to get some normal time together after you were separated for so long. It took him a semester to decide, but one day during your usual Iris message conversations, he told you heâd love to spend the rest of the year in Boston with you. Luke still remembered the grin you wore, your disbelieving but victorious cheers, the apology you yelled back at your mother for your noise.Â
Luke watched you as you talked with your mom, discussing Bostonâs chances and player statistics and baseball jargon he didnât think heâd ever understand, and he knew he would sit through a thousand Red Sox games if it meant he would get to keep seeing your smile.
You must have felt his eyes on you, because you glanced over at him. âAre you okay?âÂ
Luke smiled. Gods, he was so glad you were here.Â
âNever better.âÂ
-
âThat one nearly got me,â Luke said.Â
Percy huffed as he picked up his sword from the groundâhe was pretty sure he would officially lose his mind if Luke disarmed him with that stupid move one more time. One benefit to the Hermes cabin being too scared to associate with him after getting claimed was that he wasnât making a fool out of himself in front of other people.Â
âMaybe I can only beat you when I pour water on myself,â he said.Â
Luke chuckled as he took a bottle from the cooler on the side and held it up. âWanna try?âÂ
He shook his head. âI think my arms will fall off if I keep going with you.âÂ
He tipped his shoulder. âFair.âÂ
Percy stared at the ground as Luke gathered himself, trying to put the free range thoughts roaming around his head in order. It didnât help that heâd gained a million questions after Poseidon claimed him, and it didnât help that thereâs been a newest addition to his dream last night.Â
He still felt strange asking Luke about it, but he had to know more about her. Percy didnât know why it felt like his mission to find out who this mysterious girl was, or why he felt that strange connection to her. Maybe it was the way Luke acted whenever he brought her up, maybe it was that sheâd popped up in his dream next to him at the very end, maybe it was just plain old curiosity.Â
âIâm not supposed to be alive,â Percy said, breaking the silence. âI could die at any time in a bunch of different horrible ways. So will you tell me more about that girl on your wall?â Â
Again, Luke seemed to be caught off guard by it. Percy heard the crunch of plastic as his hand clenched ever so slightly around the bottle, and he tried to cover it up with an arched eyebrow. âWhy do you want to know so badly?âÂ
He shrugged. What was he supposed to say?Â
âIâm curious,â he decided.Â
Luke huffed a dry laugh before he took a sip of water, and he stared off into the distance for a while. He did a lot of staring whenever this girl was brought up. They looked like they were best friends in those pictures, but maybe whatever they had ended badly. And if she was a demigod tooâŚ
Well, it would make sense why he didnât want to talk about her.Â
âYou know that phrase about curiosity?â Luke asked.Â
âAnd how it killed the cat?âÂ
He nodded, drinking some more. âIt goes double for demigods.âÂ
âEverything else wants to kill me,â Percy said. âSo curiosityâs gonna have to get in line.âÂ
Lukeâs laugh was a little more genuine this time, and he shook his head. âI guess I can tell you a little about her. You actually probably have a right to know.âÂ
âIs she a half-blood?â Percy asked immediately.Â
He nodded. âYeah.âÂ
âWhoâs her parent?âÂ
Luke capped his water bottle and looked at Percy for a good, long moment. His face glowed in the warm afternoon sun, his scar cast in a softer light than usual. The scar used to unnerve him, but heâd gotten used to it after weeks staring at it during sword fighting.Â
âShe was a child of Poseidon, Percy,â he said. âJust like you.âÂ
Percy felt short of breath, like Luke had just knocked his sword out of his hand and shoved him to the ground. But he stood on his own two legs that somehow still worked, and Luke hadnât moved.Â
He had a sister?Â
âI have a sister?âÂ
ââŚHad,â Luke corrected. âShe⌠she died a few years back.âÂ
A vice latched onto Percyâs heart. He was still having a hard time breathing. No wonder Luke always used past tense when he was talking about her.Â
He had a sister, he wasnât alone, but he was because she was dead. And if Luke was one of her friends, that meant she died young.Â
Gods.Â
âWhat about their oath?â Percy asked, trying to ignore the aching in his chest. âIâm already on thin ice for my whole existing thing. How did Poseidon get away with two kids so close to each other?âÂ
Luke shrugged. âIâve never known why gods do things. Her mother was a great woman, thoughâI could see what drew Poseidon to her against the oath.âÂ
One half of Percy wanted to ask every question that kept popping into his head. The other side of him wanted to break down and cry.Â
âHow did you meet her?âÂ
âWe ran into each other when we were both young,â he said. âBoth child runaways, both demigods, both New Englandersâwe decided to rough it out on the road together. Couldnât be any worse than doing it on our own.â
Percy tried to imagine it. A young Luke and a younger version of that girlâmaybe Percyâs ageâliving together in the wilderness and fighting monsters. Surviving off of nothing but their wit and skill, facing death each day before theyâd even reached middle school.Â
âIt⌠it didnât happen then, did it?â he asked hesitantly.Â
Luke shook his head. âCouple years later. All we did was watch each otherâs backs out there.âÂ
Percy couldnât help himself. âWhat happened to her?â Â
âThe same thing that happens to everyone,â Luke said flatly. âThereâs a reason Iâm the oldest one here.âÂ
âThat doesnât make it better,â Percy insisted. âItâ it makes it worse, Luke. You see that, right?â Â
Luke stared at his empty water bottle then tossed it back into the cooler. When his gaze met Percyâs, he was shocked by how⌠tired he looked. Beyond exhaustedâbone-weary. Percy wanted to say more, but he didnât get the chance.Â
âThis isnât good conversation,â Luke said, âand itâs getting late. You should hit the showers before dinner.âÂ
The sun still beat down on them, bright and angry in the sky, but Percy provided no argument. He had a lot to think about.Â
Before they went their separate ways, Percy stopped and looked back at him. âIâm sorry sheâs gone, Luke.âÂ
Lukeâs gaze went unfocused for a moment, his eyes growing glossy. âSo am I.âÂ
-
Percy sat on the floor of the Hermes cabin in the corner that used to be his, staring at his meager belongings. He had to decide what to take on his quest, which was made easier by the fact that he hardly had anything to his name. Things could always be worse, though. At least he would have a change of clothes.Â
He shouldâve been doing this in his own cabin, but it felt too empty, too suffocating in its silence. Eleven was still more familiar. He heard the door open and saw Luke walk in, and his eyes lit up when he saw Percy.Â
âHey,â he said. âI wanted to see you before you left. Howâre you feeling pre-quest?âÂ
âLike the worldâs about to end,â he said.Â
Lukeâs lips twitched into a smile as he sat on the bed across from Percy. âUnderstandable. It kinda is.âÂ
âItâs just overwhelming.â Percy shoved the unfolded clothes into his backpack. âI have to clear mine and my dadâs names and get Zeusâs bolt back, or else war will start. No pressure at all.âÂ
âYou were chosen for a reason,â Luke said. âYou may not see it, Percy, but youâve improved a lot since you got here. If anyone can do this, I think itâs you.âÂ
Percy looked up at him, and he was reminded of the way their last conversation went. He was asking before he could really stop himself.Â
âI could die on this quest and never see you again,â Percy said. âSo could you tell me more about my sister before I go?â Â
Luke smiled wistfully and sighed. âYou really wonât let this go, will you?âÂ
âItâs not really something you just let go,â he said. âBesides, I⌠I saw her in my dream last night.âÂ
Lukeâs smile faded. âYou did?â Â
Percy nodded. âFor a split second, but I know it was her. I felt the same way I did whenever I looked at her pictures. And⌠itâs the second time sheâs shown up.âÂ
He let out a long sigh and shook his head, his gaze trailing off to the wall. He always looked so much older when he talked about this girl, like he was a war veteran reminiscing on his lost love. And from what heâd gathered, it might not have been too far off.Â
âI told you we ran together when we were young,â he said, and Percy nodded. âWe were both nine, and it shouldâve been terrible, but she had a way of making everything better. Always found the bright side of things, was always able to make me laugh.âÂ
âShe was from Massachusettsâright in the middle of Boston.â Luke chuckled as he looked at Percy. âHuge Red Sox fan.âÂ
Percy grimaced. âWe all make mistakes.âÂ
Luke smiled, though it faded a bit. âWe got separated for a while, but we found each other again when I got to camp. Things were more peaceful than they are now, so sheâd been claimed at camp pretty quickly. I figure Poseidon wanted her to have the protection of him openly standing behind her after what happened.âÂ
He frowned. âWhat do you mean, âwhat happenedâ?âÂ
Luke shook his head. âThat would be an awful story to send you off on.âÂ
Percy wanted to protest, but he didnât. Luke was probably rightâPercy didnât want to make him relive it and then have to go on a death quest right after.
âA happier part, then,â he suggested.
âShe ran away from home as a kid to protect her mom, but now that she had an idea of what she was doing, she started going back to school. She invited me to stay with her during the school year one year, and I accepted. Thatââ Lukeâs throat bobbed, and the other hand clenched into a fistâ âthat was when she died.âÂ
In his stunned silence, Luke got up and went over to his alcove. He pulled the drawer open on his bedside table and pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper. It mustâve been folded and crumpled a million other times in messier ways by all the creases he could see, but when Luke opened it, he could see handwriting all over the front.Â
A letter.Â
âWe Iris messaged each other constantly while she was at school,â he said, âand we wrote back and forth when we couldnât. This was the last letter she sent me.âÂ
Percyâs first instinct was to say he wouldnât be able to read it, but he realized that he didnât really care. These were words that his sister wroteâhe would sit here the rest of the day forcing sentences to make sense if that was what it took.Â
So he took the letter when Luke offered it.Â
To the one and only Luke Castellan,Â
My mom said yes! After a very long interrogation (she now knows basically everything about you) and a million promises that you would be as careful as possible and that you were good enough at sword fighting to take down anything that could come after us, she said you can spend the year here. We spent a couple hours every day making my momâs study into a guest room, so you have a place to stay.
Iâm an idiot that didnât bring enough drachmas so thatâs why I have to send this letterâhopefully it gets to you soon enough, because weâre gonna come get you a week before my winter break is over. Mom is letting me drive down because she says I have to get my permit soon. It makes sense that my first big test is getting to you. If we donât make it, itâs because we died in a fiery crash.Â
Just kidding. Iâm a great driver. But tell me some of your favorite songs when you reply and Iâll burn a CD for the rideâI figured out how to use LimeWire. Oh, and throw in a couple drachmas with the envelope so I can Iris message you next time. I miss your face and your voice, and my hand is cramping up writing all of this.Â
But this is so exciting! I canât wait to introduce you to all my friends at school, and show you my favorite places in the city, and make you into a Red Sox fan. And you can come to my soccer gamesâ Iâm the greatest forward there is.Â
Jokes aside, Iâm going to make sure you have the best time. Weâll spend every second together, Luke. Weâre gonna make up for the time we lost.Â
I canât wait to see you again.
Your hurricane. Â
It took Percy a long time to get through it with the words swimming all over, and it didnât help that his vision had grown blurry.Â
Tears, he realized as he blinked, and he did it again to make sure they wouldnât fall. He couldnât cry in front of Luke, not over a girl he didnât even knowâeven if she was his sister. But maybe he was grieving thatâthe fact that he would never get to know her.Â
âGod, man. Iâ Iâm sorry.â Percy couldnât think of anything else to say. âShe sounds like she was great.âÂ
Luke couldnât even manage a smile this time as he stared at the wall. Percy was surprised he could even talk to him about it.Â
âShe was,â he murmured. âYou wouldâve liked her. And gods,â this time, a bit of a smile broke through despite it all, âshe would have loved a little brother.âÂ
âIâm gonna make her proud on this quest,â Percy vowed. âIâm gonna clear our dadâs name for her.â
Something in Lukeâs gaze had changedâsadness, almost regret. âYouâre a good kid, Percy. I hope your quest doesnât change that.âÂ
I hope I come back alive, he wanted to say. But given the topic matter, he didnât. Percy carefully folded the letter back up and handed it to Luke.Â
âThank you for telling me about her, man,â Percy said. âI⌠I know it canât be easy.â
Luke let out a shuddering breath as he stared at the closed letterâPercy wondered how many times he must have sat in this same position, reading her words. âNo better way to honor her memory than helping her brother.â He glanced at Percy. âI see a lot of her in you.âÂ
Heâd been wondering if he had anything in common with her. Percy felt a sudden flare of anger shoot through himâit wasnât fair that she was dead. Poseidon was a god, and she was a teenager. He should have saved her.Â
Percyâs mouth was drier than a desert. A part of him wanted to curl up in a ball and sob over the sister he never got the chance to know, but the other part of him knewâfrom what little Luke had told him about herâthat she wouldnât want him to.Â
âI should get going,â Percy said, standing up from the floor. âWe have to leave for the quest soon, and Annabeth and Grover are probably wondering where I am, andâŚâÂ
Percy trailed off, and Luke nodded in understanding. He turned around and took one of the photos off the wallâone of you alone in the middle of a park, wearing a bucket hat and absolutely beaming.Â
âYou deserve to have a part of her with you,â he said. âFor good luck.âÂ
He felt himself choking up, and he pushed it down as he accepted the photo. âThanks, man. It means a lot.â
âGood luck, Percy,â Luke said. âYouâve got a lot of people rooting for you.â
Percy found himself studying the picture of you once he made it outside, trying to memorize your face. With your wide, infectious smile that emanated pure sunlight, he could have mistaken you for an Apollo kid. But when he looked at you, he got that same warmth that he felt every time he imagined his father.Â
âI wonât let you down,â he murmured. âI promise.âÂ
-
After sleeping in his train seat for half the day, Percy vowed to never complain about his bed in Cabin Three again. He was gonna be going down to the Underworld with permanent cricks in his neck.Â
Grover was still sound asleepâPercy envied him for how easily it came to him in the worst conditionsâbut thankfully, Annabeth wasnât. Her gaze was focused on the view as their train chugged along.Â
Percy cleared his throat in a flawless attempt at getting her attention, and it worked.Â
âYouâre awake,â she said.Â
âUnfortunately.â Percy sighed. âHow much longer do you think itâll be?âÂ
âAnother day, at least,â she said. âAnd weâve got a layover in St. Louis.âÂ
âSt. Louis,â he hummed. âNice.âÂ
They sat in silence for a whileâthere wasnât much to talk about when they were coming off of twoâ or was it three, now?ânear-death experiences. But eventually, Annabeth cleared her throat, taking a page from his book, and it worked again.Â
âThereâ thereâs probably something you should know,â Annabeth said, and that worked even better than clearing her throat. âYouâre not the only Big Three kid to come through Camp Half-blood lately.âÂ
âI know,â he said. âGrover and Luke explained it.âÂ
Her eyes widened slightly and she leaned forward in her seat. âLuke did?âÂ
ââŚYeah. You all already told me about Thalia.â Percy glanced away, suddenly feeling a chill in the train car. âLuke told me about my sister.âÂ
Annabeth went silent.Â
âItâs okay,â he said. âI kind of annoyed Luke until he told me. Doesnât really seem like a subject people at camp like to talk about.âÂ
âIâm just surprised he did,â she murmured. âThey were⌠they were close, Percy. Her death destroyed himâThalia and your sister. All of itâs complicated.â Â
âYeah,â he sighed, âI got some of that.âÂ
âI only knew her for a year at camp, but everyone loved her,â she said. âShe was nice. Popular. Always helped when she could, always had the biggest, most infectious smile on her face.â Annabeth looked down at her hands. âShe didnât deserve the fate she got.âÂ
Percy didnât think heâd ever grieved so much for someone he never knew. âBut her and Lukeâwere theyâŚ?âÂ
âYeah,â Annabeth said, âthey were a thing, later on.âÂ
That seemed to be all she wanted to say on the matter. Percy decided not to push.Â
âHow did you meet her?â he asked.Â
Annabethâs lips pressed into a thin line. âI met her on the day I thought I would die.â
-
For the first time in her life, Annabeth Chase couldnât think.Â
It had all happened so fast. One second she was running with Luke and Thalia and Grover, praying to her mother and any other gods that would listen to make the horde of monsters let up even a centimeter.
The next, sheâd collapsed on the ground, never so grateful to have grass and dirt and dust in her face. But she could hear Luke yelling, barely able to make it out in her delirious stateâshe didnât know when sheâd last had a sip of water, and theyâd been running for at least three milesâbut he sounded hysterical.Â
She remembered her last clear thought: they werenât going to make it.Â
But they had. They had, so why was Luke losing his mind?Â
Annabeth pulled herself up from the groundâhow long had she been bleeding out of those slashes on her arm?âand looked for the rest of her friends. Luke wasnât yelling anymore, instead arguing with someone she didnât recognize in a bright orange shirt. Groverâs furry legs trembled as he stared down the hill theyâd just gotten up, completely silent, and ThaliaâÂ
Where was Thalia?Â
Annabeth tried to get up but her legs gave out almost immediately, and steady arms caught her before she could fall to the ground again. Kind eyes served to ease some of her panicâshe was older than Annabeth, maybe around Luke or Thaliaâs age.Â
ThaliaâÂ
âHey, youâre okay,â the voice said, and Annabethâs attention was drawn back to you. âIâve got you.âÂ
âWhereâs Thalia?â she blurted out, because now she couldnât think of anything else.Â
Your brows creased and you glanced back down the hillâAnnabeth did too, and she saw Grover and Luke arguing with each other. Or rather, Luke was yelling at him as Grover anxiously hooked his hands through his hair.Â
âI donât know,â you said, âbut right now, I need to make sure youâre okay. Are you hurt?âÂ
Annabeth absentmindedly held up her arm, but she was only focused on her friends. Why wasnât Thalia with them? Why was Luke so upset?
You cursed under your breath in Ancient Greek as you cradled her arm, and you looked back down the hill. Annabeth could see at least half a dozen other kids.Â
âWeâve got two half-bloods and a satyr, one injured!â you yelled back. âGet Molly and Brayden!âÂ
âThree,â Annabeth found herself saying. âThereâs three half-bloodsââÂ
âAnnabeth!âÂ
Her head shot up at the sound of Luke calling her name as he bounded over, and her eyes widened at the blood steadily spidering across the fabric of his shirt.Â
âLuke, youâre hurtââÂ
âIâm fine,â he insisted. âItâs fine.âÂ
âWe have Apollo kids coming,â you said, looking up at him, still cradling Annabethâs arm. âWeâll get yââÂ
Your sentence stuck in your throat, and Annabeth could see tears welling in your eyes as your brows furrowed. She thought Lukeâs eyes might burst out of his skull as he stared at you, his lips parted but nothing coming out. Neither of you were able to form words.Â
When he finally did get something out, it was a single name. One Annabeth knew by heart, one that heâd mourned for years.Â
âLuke?â you whispered.Â
Before he had the chance to do anything, two teenagers got over the hill and called out your name, the same one Luke used. He always said you were dead, but you clearly werenât dead, because you were here and you had her arm in your grasp and while your hands were cold, they werenât cold enough to be deadâÂ
âMollyâs gonna take care of you,â you said, looking back at Annabeth and cutting off her inner dialogue. âSheâll get you to the infirmary and heal you up, okay?âÂ
âMy friendsââÂ
âTheyâre gonna be okay too,â you said. âI promise.âÂ
Annabeth looked up at Luke, and he nodded. âWeâll be with you soon, Annabeth. Weâ we have to talk about some things.âÂ
So she went with Molly down the hill, and Annabeth put pressure on her bleeding wound when she told her toâit had started to sting like hell now that her adrenaline was fading.Â
She looked back just in time to see you and Luke share the tightest hug ever.Â
The hug of two people who realized they werenât seeing ghosts, Annabeth thought.Â
-
You bolted up in bed, eyes wide and your chest heaving as you rapidly sucked in air. Your fingers found purchase in your bedsheets, desperate for something familiarâit took a second for you to recognize your surroundings, that you werenât in an endless void, but your childhood bedroom offered little comfort. Â
You ran a hand over your forehead, damp with sweat, as you tried to calm down. Your breathing slowed, but you couldnât shake that awful feeling that hung over you in your sleep.Â
Your nightmares were getting worse, you knew that much. That raspy, demented voice used to be a rarity, and now it appeared every night. You could usually deal with your nightmares, but the sense of absolute dread that voice and the pit fostered in you was too much. You hadnât managed to sleep through the night once since you came home for the school year.
You could deal with the monstersâto you, this was the worst part of your godly blood.
A knock rattled on the door out of nowhere, and you nearly jumped out of your skin. The only thing that calmed you down was the thought that monsters didnât knock.Â
âCome in,â you croaked, your throat drier than a desert.Â
Thankfully, a monster hadnât come to make your night even more miserable. Luke stood in the doorway, his eyebrows creased in concern, messy curls hanging just above his eyes. He wore the Red Sox t-shirt youâd bought for him at the game you dragged him to, and in your addled state, you didnât even think to tease him about it.Â
âAre you okay?â He shouldâve been as disoriented as you, but his alerted eyes told a different story.Â
You could only think of one thing. âHow did you know?âÂ
Lukeâs lips parted for a moment, as if he hadnât even considered it. âI could just feel it.â
You managed a smile despite every atom in your body screaming at you. âI think that means you can come in.âÂ
He closed the door behind him, and you shifted over in your bed to make room for him. There wasnât much in a twin, but you made it work. Lukeâs weight pressed into the mattress, making you adjust your position, and it was more comforting than any amount of blankets.Â
âYouâre so cold,â he murmured, laying the back of his hand against your arm. âHow do you live like that?âÂ
âBlame my dad,â you said. âIâve got water in my blood.âÂ
âI think thatâs probably a bad thing,â Luke said, and you knocked your shoulder into his with a huff.Â
âYou know what I mean.âÂ
Luke let his hand fall back in his lap, and as you brought your knees up to your chest, you pulled the covers with them.Â
âSo,â Luke said, glancing at you, âwhatâs got you awake at the witching hour?âÂ
âThe usual,â you mumbled.Â
âNightmares that might be prophetic?â he asked.Â
You made a lazy gesture with your hand. âBingo.âÂ
âThe worst sense of dread imaginable?âÂ
âBullseye.âÂ
âIâm sorry,â he said.Â
You shrugged. âItâs nothing I canât deal with.âÂ
âYou donât always have to put on a front, yâknow,â Luke said. You felt his eyes on you. âYou donât always have to be strong.âÂ
âIâm naturally strong,â you said with mock austerity. âComes with the god for a dad.âÂ
Luke chuckled and shook his head. âYou know what I mean.âÂ
âYeah,â you murmured.Â
You leaned into his side, fitting your head into the crook of his neck. Luke wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer, and you let out a contented sigh.Â
That voice in your nightmares seemed so small when you had Luke.Â
âCan you stay?â you asked softly.Â
He didnât hesitate. âOf course.âÂ
âJust like old times,â you whispered.Â
âJust like old times,â he agreed.Â
Luke ran hot, and youâd never been more thankful for it as you fully settled into his side. Icy blood ran through your veins, and you let out a shaky sigh. You could hear his steady breathing, feel his heartbeat through his chest, and the anxiety from earlier began to steadily fade. You never felt safer than when you were with Luke.Â
There was something between youâyou werenât that stupidâbut you hadnât talked about it. With you and Luke, it was just⌠you and Luke. You didnât have to put a label to it.Â
How could you put a label to your relationship, when youâd spent your first few years together fighting for each day, and then the next few thinking the other was dead?Â
Maybe someday, you would talk about it. But for now, this was more than enough.Â
âDonât worry,â Luke murmured in your ear as your eyes began to droop. âIâm not gonna let anything happen to you.âÂ
And by the gods, you believed him.Â

bonfire - percy jackson
Request: yes! "Hey I was just wondering if you could make a Percy Jackson x gn reader where the reader had a crush on Percy for a while and was jealous of annabeth only to find out Percy felt the same" Pairing:Â Â percy jackson x gn!reader Summary:Â Â you've got a crush on percy, but it looks as if he only has eyes for annabeth. you try to keep your distance, but it's hard and percy notices you're absent Warnings:Â Â jealousy, angst Word count:Â Â 1.5K A/N:Â happy new year!! sadly I went into the year with my tiktok account getting banned because they think I'm 13?? all I do is post silly little pjo videos but apparently its not okay so now I have to start over :( thanks for your request, enjoy!
you wonder if your life would be different if you were more like annabeth.
you're looking at her right now, as she's talking with her team. you know you can't win capture the flag from her. she's too smart. always analysing, always calculating everything that can go wrong and then preventing it.
percy is also looking at annabeth.
he's on her team, after all.
you're trying to listen as clarisse, your team captain, explains her new plan to your team. but you're only hearing half of what she's saying. you're far too focused on percy as he smiles at annabeth while she's talking to him.
you can tell he likes her. and it's not like you hadn't tried to let it go.
you had tried to push your feelings away, to ignore them, nothing worked. when you saw percy chatting with annabeth, you felt a little jealous.
soon your crush on percy and with it, your jealousy of annabeth, started to grow. so you decided if nothing worked, you'd distance yourself from percy.
it hurt, especially since percy was happy to spend his time with annabeth instead of you. at first, he would still invite you to spend time with him. but after you kept declining his offers, he eventually stopped asking you.
you tried not to show anyone how upset you were. maybe it would get easier with time. it's clear to you percy prefers annabeth over you.
on top of it all, you lose capture the flag yet again. you're forced to sit on the sidelines with your team, listening to clarisse tell you everything that went wrong. in the distance, you can see percy and annabeth celebrating their win with the rest of the team.
you tell yourself it's just a game and that you don't care their team won. maybe if you tell yourself it enough times, you might believe it.
when you're walking back to the cabins to put away your armor and weapons, you hear someone call your name behind you.
you turn around and see percy jogging to catch up with you.
you hate the way your heart still skips a beat when you see his eyes and quick smile.
'good game!' he says, stopping in front of you.
'hi percy.' you say.
'hi.' he says with a smile. gods, he's going to be the death of you one day.
'congrats on winning. again.'
'thanks! annabeth had this amazing plan.'
'athena kids, huh?' you mumble, trying not to show your disappointment at how it only took a couple of seconds for percy to bring up annabeth in the conversation.
'you busy tonight?' he says.
you look up at him. surely he wouldn't?
'not really. why?' you say.
'there's a bonfire tonight. want to come?' says percy.
'yeah, that sounds good.' you say. you could never say no to him.
sitting at the bonfire, you hadn't done that in a while. ever since you decided to try and distance yourself from percy, you missed out on things you knew he would be present at.
'great! it was annabeth's idea to host one, see you tonight!' says percy, waving at you and taking off again, headed towards his own cabin.
you just stand there. of course it was annabeth's plan, of course she'd be there as well.
as you walk to your cabin, you're not sure you can stand watching them together all night after watching them win capture the flag. but you'd told percy you'd come. and you hate to let him down.
so when the sun is setting, you make your way to the bonfire. while you're walking, you can't stop thinking about how cold it is. you should have brought a jacket. but you're afraid that if you go back to your cabin, you won't go to the bonfire anymore. and then percy would be upset.
at the bonfire, there's almost no kids from your team. there are a few of your siblings, but not a lot.
the kids from the opposite team are dancing, laughing and celebrating.
is this really where you want to be tonight?
you spot percy in the distance, talking with a few apollo kids. without meaning to, your eyes also search for annabeth. she's sitting with her siblings. at least they're not together again.
you'd stay for an hour. just to show your face, then you'd go back to your cabin. that's acceptable, right?
you get yourself a drink and sit down near the edge of the party, where most of the kids are just talking with each other and not really doing a lot.
as you think back to capture the flag earlier today, you try to figure out how annabeth's team could always beat yours. you know athena kids are smart, but ares kids also know a lot about battle strategies. maybe you could sit down with clarisse some day and see if you can help her with a new plan.
you're lost in thoughts, when you hear a familiar laugh in the distance. you look over and see annabeth has left her siblings and is now sitting next to percy.
you sigh softly, it was never going to be any different, was it?
for a while, you watch the other kids, listening to their songs. you had to give it to the apollo cabin, they know how to get a party started. when you look back at percy and annabeth, percy is gone.
before you can look around where he is, someone sits down next to you.
'having fun?'
you turn and are met with percy's bright eyes. you put on a smile, hoping it looks sincere.
'yeah. thanks for inviting me.' you say.
percy tilts his head a little and gives you a confusing look.
'you say you're having fun and yet since you got here you've been sitting here with a drink you haven't touched, freezing and shivering.' says percy.
right. you forgot your jacket.
'sorry. I was thinking about capture the flag.' you say.
'ah yes, about our fantastic victory.' says percy, smiling and bumping your shoulder. 'you should come up with a new plan some day. maybe talk to clarisse about it?'
'I will.' you say.
'then again, it is hard to beat annabeth's plans. sometimes I don't even know her entire plan until the game is already over.' says percy.
really? how does he manage to bring up annabeth every single time he's talking to you?
'well, don't let me keep you.' you say. 'thanks for checking in, but you don't have to take pity on me for losing. you can go back to annabeth now.'
percy frowns. 'what are you talking about?' he says.
'well, clearly you like her.' you say.
percy laughs at your words. you feel the color drain from your face. tears start to form in your eyes.
'alright, I'm leaving.' you say, getting up.
percy abruptly stops laughing. 'wait no, please don't go.' he says, pulling you back down.
'sorry, I shouldn't have laughed at that. it's just, yeah, I like annabeth. but not like that, we're just friends. I like you, okay? I thought you knew.' says percy.
your lips part in surprise. did you hear that right?
'you like me?' you say. 'like... you like like me?'
percy smiles. gods he really is beautiful. 'yeah, I like like you, alright.' he says. 'which reminds me, why have you been avoiding me lately?'
you look down, fidgeting with the hem of your shirt. 'I thought if I wouldn't see you, my feelings for you would go away.'
'but they didn't.'
'no, they didn't. my eyes were still finding you in ever room. even tonight, I didn't really want to come. but I couldn't say no to you.'
'is that also why you didn't bring a jacket? so you'd have an excuse to go back soon?'
you look up and shake your head. 'no, I did actually forget my jacket.' you say.
percy takes off his sweater and hands it to you. 'here.' he says. 'wouldn't want you to freeze.'
'thank you.' you say, taking it and putting it on. it's bigger than your own sweaters and smells like him.
'want to get out of here?' says percy. 'we can go to the lake. or my cabin, no one's there. it'll just be the two of us.'
'do you have a heater in your cabin?' you say.
'no.' says percy, getting up and holding out his hand to you. 'but consider me your personal heater from now on. always available for cuddles.'
you smile, taking his hand. 'I like that.' you say.
as you and percy walk off, annabeth is still sitting by the campfire. she's smiling to herself. she knew about percy's crush on you. he'd been asking her all sorts of advice. and it looks like he finally told you.

Percy Jackson x Soulmate!Reader
-ÂŁ Ask: Percy x reader who's his soul mate and he only finds out when she almost dies (could be trying to save him or just because life as a demigod is hard) @poemfreak306
-ÂŁ words: 2k
-ÂŁ Warnings: Reader being injured, soulmate au, blood & cuts, reader almost dying, angsty, comfort at the end, cursing?? (You can also imagine any Percy you want in this)
Could you count all the stars in the sky?
It was almost peaceful looking up at the stars, mind going blank and your body numb. they looked so beautiful and you realize youâve never quite looked closely at them. burning rocks floating in space that somehow was the cause of so many poems and love stories. if only you had noticed it sooner.
Blood leaked out of your side and the hand you placed over it started to give up trying to put pressure on the wound. The monster who chased you for miles had finally got to you after being so close to camp, to being safe and sound, when itâs claws finally got ahold of you. Its sharp nails dragged into your skin ripping your clothes and stained them with the blood immediately pouring out. thankfully you had one stroke of luck when your dagger pierced its heart and it was quick to fall.
Not much time has passed since then, however it was enough time for you to loss too much blood.
Had the stars always been that pretty? Just a thought as your eyes blur and the only thing left to feel was the thoughts in your head. The sweet smile of your moral parentâs smile, how it felt to laugh with friends and how some part of you still felt on fire. The shore of the campâs lake appeared in your mind, and sand beneath your feet as you look at someoneâs figure. The smile on their face was so familiarâŚMaybe it was death being nice to you.
you tried to keep your eyes open but they were just too heavy. maybe you could just rest for a few minutes. there was a sense of warmth that took over your body once more as your eyes fade closed.
âHeâs coming, not long little one.â
the campfire wasnât his focus at the moment but he found himself staring into it as his thoughts ran wild. he had just back to camp but this year was so much different. there was so much on his mind that he just couldnât focus on one thing. about his mother, his father and how he still couldnât believe he was a Demi god. even after a long time it just wasnât normal to him.
then a hiss leaves his lips as he clings to his side in pain. it was stinging and felt on fire. he knew how being wounded felt like all to well but nothing happened, he was just sitting. then his finger felt funny like pins and needles stabbed him all at once. from his left annabeth looks at him worried and looking of his confused face.
âWhatâs wrong?â But the boy just stared at himself as the pain faded away but his hand became numb and weird. He spun it around a few times to look over it, checking for anything causing it but found nothing. not even a bug.
it was your smile that popped in his head. the warm shoulder he always laid on, he could hear the laugh you had ringing in his ears. why? his name was called from your soft lips but it wasnât like normal, he saw your lips with blood from the corner. reaching out to him like he was your only hope.
âY/n.â He stood up immediately at the image in his head. looking around for you in the crowd of campers he didnât find you with your siblings or around your friends. annebeth looked at him worried and stood up with him, âwhat is it?â
he knew those trees. heâs seen then a million times. percy knew the grass, but this was different from actually knowing where you were. something was tugging his body and he didnât need ask where you were. he knew.
his feet moved on their own and he practically ran where they took him and only thought of you. Annebeth stayed behind and told Mr.d that something might be wrong. Percy felt off and not the normal kind he always did. his body felt weaker like it was losing its life. his chest felt off and his heart filled with sorrow.
so when he found you laying in a pool of your own blood he was quick to fall next to you. ây/nâ he called out. he checked for a pulse but couldnât do it right so he leaned next to your nose and listened for your breathing and thankfully he felt some. his heart was pounding when he saw the cuts on your body making his mind wonder to what could have done it. the camp was just a few feet away and you could have been safe.
âDonât die,â he begged and places his arm under your head, âthis isnât how itâs supposed to be.â his words didnât make sense to him when he spoke. how was it supposed to be? what was he talking about.
the new light in the sky made him look up to a shooting star shoot cross the sky. it was truly beautiful. something around his finger pulled again and he felt the small feeling of string so when he looked down it was red and tied around him. following the line he found it connected to you. The string of fate.
his string was tied to yours. you were his soulmate.
âno, noâ he wrapped another arm under your legs and left you up slightly. he was staring at your face with tears pooling themselves in his eyes. for the first time he was finally seeing you as what you were. his. but how could the gods be so cruel to take you way from him. Percy wouldnât let that happen. heâd fight hades himself for you back.
âjust stay with me.â there he was carrying you passed the camp line to get you to the infirmary. even in the near death you looked stunning as you away did. he was just to stupid to see it before. ďżź
when they took you away from him he was quiet and stood outside the door and refused to leave. percy even refused to leave the room at first but was yelled at and pushed out, so he had no choice but to leave your side. how could he just stay outside when he could lose the one person that was supposedly to stay with him, to love him, and who was supposed to be with him always? how could he just sit still when he was going to lose it all?
his friends came to sit with him and offered him some kind words and reassurance ďżźbut not much helped. he just sat down on a chair with his legs bouncing and hands fiddling with themselves as all he could think is about you. about the cuts on your skin and all the blood.
luckily they had gotten you somewhat healed, making you stable and fine. just had to wait for your body to heal.
âPercy,â annabeth poked his shoulder as he stared at the floor. they had left and he could go in now but he didnât notice. âyou can go in now.â Percy turn quickly to her and then at the door wide open now. so he sprinted up and inside to find you laying on the bed peacefully sleeping. annabeth didnât follow him in because he needed a moment alone. sheâd let him have his moment
Percy sat beside your bed the whole time you slept. heâd fed you. heâd brushed your hair out of your face and watched you closely as if someone was out to get you. his hand was always ready to pull out riptide in case but nothing dangerous ever came. his hand stayed in yours while he whispered for you to wake up and how much he was sorry.
âShould have realized it before,â he whispered as he leaned near you. âgosh, Iâm such a idiot.â he sighed to himself and ran his eyes over you.
His hands rubbed your own, âJust wake up and Iâll make up for it. For all the time we lost, just let me love you.â His lips pressed to your head as you continued to sleep unknowing to his words but your body healing by having him close.
two days of not getting much sleep himself youâd waken up. his head resting next to your leg as he sat in a chair with his hand on yours, his hair messy. you didnât remember coming to the infirmary or how you got here. and not percy holding your hand. but you couldnât let go off it because it was to comfortable like it was made to fit in yours.
when you moved your body since it felt so stiff from probably not moving in days youâd accidentally woke him up. you felt bad as he shot up quickly and looked around panicked with his hand going to his side, probably reaching for riptide. once his eyes found yours it made your heart sink into your lower stomach. under his eyes were black circles and his eyes looked so painful that it broke you, like heâd been crying. he was paler then normal.
A sad smile broke onto his face, he was relieved to see you awake. He let out a small chuckle as his eyes almost filled with tears when he jumped forward you take your head into his chest as a small hug. âWelcome back,â you froze at his hug but let him have his moment. of course you smiled and wrapped your arms around him too. It was nice.
âPercy, how long was I outâŚHow did I get here?â Pulling himself back with a red tint in his chest he sat back down.
âI found you outside the barrier. Y/n, I thought you were dead, you were barely breathing.â his voice broke. âbut I got you here and now youâre awake. not dead,â there was that damn smiling again that pained you, like he was convincing his demons something.
humming and nodding your head along you look at your side to see it healed, lifting up your shirt just a little and saw a scar on your skin. it made you frown knowing how big it would be. âIf it means anything, I think youâd look badass.â you put your shirt back down and look at him.
he was trying to make you feel better. âPercy when I was- When I closed my eyes I heard something and my body, well it felt different. Do you know anything about that?â his heart skipped a beat and his eyes slightly going wide.
was it obvious how fluster he was? was his skin as red as a tomato, did he look like a fool? âI have to tell you something.â Percy played with his own hands again and looked away for a second. you swing your legs to the side of the bed to stretch.
âGo ahead.â
You watched him closely and you could see he was working himself up to speak. how his body bounced and twitched, he was turning redder by the second. he was cute. and you yourself found your own cheeks turning hot when you looked at him.
âI saw you at the campfire in my mind. I could feel the pain you felt, or somewhat, like I was dying. my body was pulling me to you and I knew exactly where to find you without having to look.â As he explained you listened carefully and tilted your head to the side.
âthen I saw it. The red string of fate tied to my finger. I saw a shooting star, then I saw your string tied to my. And for the first time I saw you for the first time, as my soulmate.â
âOh.â Damnit. That was bad.
Percy nodded and now started to shut down as he watched you, your brain moving to figure out what to say. he just ruined everything. you wished to not be his soulmate, that was it. he didnât blame you. Percy brought danger whereever he went.
But that wasnât it. you had been thinking something else. everything made sense to you now. why you looked at him when no one else was looking. why he made you feel high in the clouds when he was near. and how he just fit so well in your life without trying. âPercy,â you call out to him again and move closer and scoot to the end of the bed with your feet hitting the floor.
you should have known from his eyes. as they look at you now it just hit you like bricks, how they were so powerful. as you take his cheek in your hands his breath hitches and holds in his chest. âiâm glad youâre my soulmate.â
he pulled you close to him and held you so tight in how arms as you giggled at how happy he seemed. his laugh made your stomach fill with butterflies. âIâll make you happy.â And that you had no doubt about. you pulled back from his grasp and looked at his lips. you needed to kiss him. and Percy knew what you were thinking and wanted the same.
his face moved forward as his kiss captured yours in a soft but passive kiss, his hands moving to wrap themselves around your body as yours wrapped around his neck. it was nice but didnât end short. after all you both waited for a long time to feel the love of a soulmate and you didnât know that you craved it this badly.
The stars never lied when it comes to love. And now you knew that he was the burning fire within you.

when you get me alone (itâs so simple)
pairing luke castellan x fem! child of aphrodite! reader
synopsis while luke is known for making peopleâs heads turn at camp, you finally give them a reason to stare after learning how much everyone seems to want him
warnings implied sexual content, descriptions of a make out session
authorâs notes happy valentineâs day everyone!! the voices in my head were louder than usual, so i figured we could all use a sweet treat today!! mwah!! i hope yâall enjoy these headcanons
On a particularly slow day, the Aphrodite, Athena, Apollo, and Hermes kids decide to spend their free time around the lake. In a glimpse, Luke can be seen laughing with Chris. A radiant smile is plastered upon his lips while he takes in the sight of you. In the distance, Annabeth sits with Grover on a towel, letting her toes wiggle into the warm earth. She watches the water intently, making sure none of her siblings are in any imminent danger when the giggles from Apollo kids, Sadie and Caroline, drown out her thoughts.
âGods, what Iâd give to be in his arms right now.â Annabethâs ears canât help but pick up on the conversation taking place beside her. âItâs no surprise heâs taken. But youâd think as a Hermes kid, heâd go for someone more likeâŚus.â Sadie sighs.
Grover leans in closer to Annabeth, his interest piquing when she rolls her eyes. He fears that the daughter of Athena is going to give them a piece of her mind when she stands, but Annabeth merely picks up the frisbee that lands near her feet. She throws it back to where it came from and sits back down to hear Caroline encouraging Sadie, âCome on, itâs only a matter of time before youâll get your chance. The Aphrodite charm has to wear off eventually. I mean, it always does.â
This time, Grover canât stop her from turning to them. âLook, you donât know how things seem to work around here, so Iâm going to explain something to you.â
âWhat Annabeth means to say is that-â The satyr attempts to soothe the situation, but she cuts him off amidst her stubbornness.
âNow, I know not all the Aphrodite kids are palatable, but Y/N is easily the sweetest one Iâve ever known. And thereâs a real reason as to why Luke is so in love with her. But I guess youâll never find that reason for yourselves if you continue to act like this at camp.â This effectively humbles Sadie and Caroline, who mumble to each other while they make their exit.
As if on cue, you walk up to Grover and Annabeth. Youâre laughing with a Hermes kid that soon leaves to join the game of frisbee, but it dies down when you notice Annabethâs hardened stare. You place a hand on her shoulder, âWhatâs wrong?âÂ
Grover stands and hands over your towel while insisting itâs nothing. But Annabeth cuts Grover off again to explain, âSadie and Caroline were saying things about youâŚand Luke.â You understand what sheâs trying to imply and give her a squeeze.
It was no secret that Luke was well admired among his peers. Most of the time, it isnât even an issue, but there were campers who thought they could change the course of your relationship every now and then.
Sadie and Caroline easily fall under that category, seeing as they completely ignored your existence when Luke decided to take you with him during their initial tour around campâŚthen there was the time Caroline pretended to lose her way at camp as an excuse to get Luke away from you and alone with her. And just two weeks ago, Sadie feigned hopelessness during a sword skills session. As the instructor, it was Lukeâs job to adjust her form. However, it was glaringly obvious the Apollo girl had an ulterior motive, especially when she threw a snarky smile in your direction when she thought you werenât looking.
âOhâŚYou donât have to worry about that, Annie. I can handle myself just fine.â You reassure Annabeth to the best of your ability. She nods and stands to settle herself into your side.
In your peripheral vision, Luke is jogging over to you with his shirt in hand. You donât miss the way Sadie and Caroline ogle at the thin layer of sheen coating his flexing muscles and the lines running down Lukeâs back that arenât actually sparring scars, despite what you tell the curious kids that help him out in the infirmary. You smile when he pats Annabethâs arm and leans over to press a kiss to your forehead. âHey, is it time to head back already?â He asks, putting his shirt on as Annabeth checks her watch.
She huffs, âUnfortunately. We should get going if we donât want to be late. I still have to grab my dagger.â
Itâs a comfortable walk back, and when you reach the Athena cabin, Annabeth bids you two goodbye and runs inside. Lukeâs hand is loosely intertwined with yours as you lead him to the Aphrodite cabin. He raises his eyebrows, asking, âDid you need something from your cabin? I thought you were working on archery right now.â
You push the door open, sheepishly admitting, âI am, but I was actually thinking of skipping out on lessons today.â
Lukeâs tone is suddenly laced with concern, âAre you okay? Did something happen at the lake?â He drops your hand to check you over, but his touch doesnât stray far from your waist to prevent you from moving away. But the gesture is welcomed and you take a step forward, a shy smile peeking through the corners of your lips.
His worry for you falters, mirroring your love struck expression, âOh,â Luke pinches your side. You shove his chest with a shriek. âYouâre awful.â He tells you, but heâs already got a hand tracing lightly over your cheek.
Your gaze switches from his dark eyes down to his lips, âYou love me.â and thatâs all it takes for Luke to dip down his head and meet you halfway. Your hands reach down under his shirt, feeling the warmth radiating from his toned torso. You bite down on his lower lip, and you know youâve sent Lukeâs head spinning when he lets out a short whimper. He attempts to deepen the kiss, but you pull away before he gets the chance.
Your eyes flutter open, whispering, âDo you want to skip lessons with me?â
Lukeâs lips are lingering above yours when he responds, âDid you even have to ask?â and pulls you onto your bed. He settles his back against the wall and hums in content when you begin to pepper pecks on his jawline.Â
After a moment, you pretend to move off of him, âI donât knowâŚyou were pretty excited for combat training earlier. Maybe I should just let you go.â
In retaliation, Lukeâs blunt nails dig into your waist, âDonât you dare.â
A warmth flutters through your stomach when you hear the desperation in his voice. Your fingers itch to tangle themselves in Lukeâs ravenous curls, lightly pulling so he can look up at you. A deceptively innocent smile paints your lips and you donât skip a beat to get him back on you.
Heavy breaths. Discarded shirts. Whispered promises. This is how you spend the next hour in between your skipped lessons and the nightly bonfire. Itâs nice, but you know itâs your cue to take a step back when the crowd of kids crawling outside the cabin becomes heavily audible.
Youâre still on Lukeâs lap when you say, âYou look so pretty like this.â Your eyes flicker from his own to his kiss swollen lips and rowdy hair. Thereâs an urge to run your fingers through them, but you settle for lightly tracing over the fresh love bites that are scattered across his neck and collarbone.
Luke smiles dopily while you admire your work, âI think we should skip lessons more often.â
You finally get off of him, throwing his shirt to his chest while you smooth yours out, âDonât be such a bad influence, youâre a camp counselor.â You canât help but stare again when the marks heavily peek out near his collar, fading in between the orange fabric.
Luke notices your longing gaze and walks over to you, âYou know, youâre not the only one with charm in this relationship. Iâll be fine.â
âYeah, okay. Letâs go, lover boy.â You roll your eyes and take his hand. You stumble on your way out, but Luke is there to catch you. He chuckles and lets his arm rest over your shoulders while you reach up to hook your hand with his. He helps you find your footing until your legs wake up on the way to the amphitheater.
âWait,â You halt just before you reach the steps. You grab Lukeâs necklace, gently pulling him in. You let your hands rest on each side of his marked up neck and he hisses at the feeling of your fingers gently pressing on his sore skin. Luke bites down on your lip in response, savoring the hint of watermelon that seeps through until you pull away, âJust wanted one more.â
Youâre satisfied once you see the hint of pink gloss smeared at the corners of his mouth. He takes your hand again, guiding you inside. You spot some of your sisters, greeting them with a wave. They giggle at you two in response, whispering frantically to each other while you find an empty space at the front of the bonfire.
âHey, is anyone sitting here?â Luke asks Sadie, who happens to be standing to his left alongside Caroline. Chris, whoâs sitting a step above them, unashamedly howls with laughter at the sight. He leans forward to clap Luke on the back, catching the attention of Grover, who sighs in embarrassment, and Annabeth, whoâs trying her best not to giggle at the sight of a gobsmacked Sadie. She and Caroline shake their heads frantically, broken words bubbling from their throats as they take in Lukeâs glossy, blissful smile that he throws at you.
They finally give you the time of day, noticing that the reason for his contentment comes from your own swollen lips. You look back at them with a smile and take your rightful seat next to Luke, who wraps an arm around your waist to pull you closer, watching as they go back to their siblings to start tonightâs singalong.
If the fire glows a little greener as Sadie and Caroline lead the singalong, no one comments on it. They all know better than to mess with the insatiable charm you hold on Luke. After all, you are your motherâs daughter.

This is how I find out?
omg I love this.
đđđŹđđđŤđĽđ˘đŹđ
Warnings: Brief making out, getting caught making out,, secret relationships, Luke never turned, reader and Luke are like 2 teenagers in love
âI donât hate him- I just hate not having the place to myself anymore, you know?â You spoke to Luke. âHeâs a good kid.â
He nodded, carrying his lunch tray. âAt least itâs not like mine..â he shrugged, giving you a small smile.
âYeah, I would run away.â You laughed, and you both sat down across from Percy.
âHey, Percy.â You both said in unison, and Percy mumbled a hi. You noticed him staring at something behind you guys, rather someone.
Luke quirked an eyebrow and turned to who he was looking at Clarisse.
âYou donât think she still has something to do with it, do you?â Luke said, turning back to Percy.
âI donât know.â He said, âThatâs what Iâm trying to figure out.â
You and Luke glanced at each other for a moment and then you sighed, looking at Percy. He looked at you back now.
âDonât let it bother you so much. You finished the quest.â
âI know but-â
âPercy. Stop. Worrying. So. Much.â Youâve only known him for a few days, but he seemed to be anxious, a lot.
He didnât say anything, and stared down at his food with melancholy etched on his face. Once lunch was over, you and Luke stood up, and Percy went over to Annabeth.
âYouâre definitely his sister.â He said with a small laugh, you both walked into the forest and you intertwined your hand into his.
âWhy do you say that?â
âBecause, you just met him like what.. a few months ago and youâre very protective of him.â
âI am notâŚâ
He gave you a knowing look and you rolled your eyes. âIâm like that with everyone.â
âI know. Itâs part of why I love you.â He teased with a small smile on his face.
âStop being corny.â You smiled.
âCanât help myself.â
You both walked for some more time, before you had to go back for the bonfire. You let go of his hand, and found a seat in the back of everyone.
After a while, he leaned over and whispered to you.
âYou wanna go to your cabin?â
You quickly nodded, you both ducked down and slowly made your way to the cabin.
âHow do we get away with it every time?â You asked him, sitting down on the bed.
He shrugged. âWeâre probably breaking about 4 rules right now.â He laid down, arm over his head, and you smiled, curling up to him and laying on his chest.
âYou may not be in another Godâs cabin.â You mocked Chiron.
âYou must be at the bonfire at all times.â He mocked him, with a laugh.
âNo dating.â
âWhatâs the fourth?â You asked.
He smirked, craning his head and capturing your lips in a kiss.
You both moved around and sat up now, you began to straddle his lap, you held his face in your hands, and his hands were on your hips.
You both were so caught up in the kiss, neither of you realized Percy standing in the doorway until he cleared his throat. You jumped off of him, standing up and dusting yourself off.
âPercy!â You laughed nervously. âDid the fire already end?â
âSeriously? This is how I find out?â He said, looking at you both back and fourth.
âWe wanted to tell you, but we couldnât. Dionysus would have our heads on a stick.â You said.
Percy sighed, moving to his bed.
âHow long have you guys been dating?â
âAlmost a year now.â Luke said.
âJesus⌠just, donât keep any more stuff from me, please?â He said after a little.
You both nodded, and Percy spoke up again âAnd donât do any of that in front of me.â

the smile on your face was very wide. in your hand was a red lipstick youâd long forgotten. âwhatâs that?â luke hovered over you as you jumped back, âannounce your comings and goings castellan, you scared the shit out of me.â luke grinned as he leaned against the wall, your eyes couldnât help but trail over his arms.
his sleeves were rolled, specks of paint all over.
âtake a picture, itâll last longer.â
âkill yourself, my peace will last longer.â
âouch, who hurt you?â luke came closer as you placed the cap on the lipstick, âeverybody on earth, how do i look?â it wasnât too bold, a nice color nonetheless , one of your favourites. âperfect, as always.â you smiled before pressing a kiss to his lips, than his cheek, than his jaw. âokay now run along, peeta.â lukeâs face contorted, âhate to break it to you, but iâm luke.â
you slapped your palm against your forehead, âi know, iâm calling you peeta, like from hunger games? he paints and bakes?â luke crossed his arms as he stared at you wondering, âthereâs a game for hunger? thatâs horrible.â you smiled as you kissed him again, âill explain later, now go before clarisse murders you for being late.â he pressed a kiss to your forehead before heading out, a salute sent your way as he approached the door, âyes maâam!â
it wasnât until it was too late that youâd realised, his face was covered in lipstick. but clarisse and chris noticed straight away. âso, you wanna tell us what youâve been up to?â chris asked as he continued directing the paint roller up and down. âwhat are you talking about?â clarisses laugh rung out through the air, âiâm talking about the fact that youâre face is covered in lipstick.â
shit. luke clamoured to the nearest window to view your work, he looked pretty nice, he thought. but the stares from chris and clarisse brought him back, âitâs nothing, get back to painting.â and as much as luke would love to wear the marks, he raised his sleeves to wipe them off.
clarisse would not stop staring at your lips, âyknow, if you wanna kiss me, you couldâve said so.â you said as she shoved your arm, âas gorgeous as you are, no.â you leaned against the palm of your hand, âgot your eye on someone? starts with an a? b?â her foot collided with your shin before you could continue you any further.
as you rubbed it up and down you smiled, âduly noted.â clarisse picked at her food, âas much as i love having you here, why are you at our table?â you sighed, âpercy takes forever apparently. usually at the idea of food he comes running.â you laughed as percy flicked your ear, âow! where have you been?â you stood up and walked to your table, not without a wave towards the ares cabin.
âi barely got away from annabeth, she was working me to the bone.â percyâs eyes immediately flicked to the food infront of him. âoh please youâre as skinny as a twig kelpie.â percy tilted his head, âyouâre my sister, which means youâre connected to the sea. yet youâre still calling me kelpie? what even is that?â the goblet in your hands currently held liquid gold, otherwise known as mountain dew, âi donât know kelpie.â you took a sip from your goblet whilst percy inhaled his food.
âhey percy, y/n.â lukeâs voice called out as he walked over to the two of you, you practically froze up. you hadnât seen him all day since he was currently repainting the hermes cabin after someone, (kids from the ares cabin whoâd then blamed their siblings for putting them up to it. which caused them to end up at the infirmary and clarisse painting as a punishment) took their masterful artistry from off their page and onto the walls.
âi hate to ask, but i need more people to help me out, percy?â his mouth was currently stuffed full and you couldnât help but laugh, âthe foods not going anywhere perce, and yes he will help, wonât you percy?â your tone wasnât exactly asking him, but he didnât want to paint. you could tell by his lack of response that he wasnât exactly elated. âiâll talk to him, heâll come soon enough. you heading up?â
and so percy watched as the two of you walk away, laughing at you tripping over. âshit, you okay babâ,â your head snapped up at the slip, âiâm fine. itâs just my lace.â you interrupted as luke handed you his tray.
luke bent down as you clutched onto his plate and your own, he patted his knee as you rested your foot. he made quick work of your laces, double knotted and all. âwhatâs that? world record time?â you scoffed, âyou wish.â luke feigned shock, âno faith jackson, no faith.â it was a running joke, your last name being jackson. even if it wasnât, percy was your brother. and you didnât really mind it, your parents werenât exactly heartwarming.
âi have faith, in your failure.â he clutched his chest, âyouâre killing me here.â you smiled, âgood.â chrisâs jaw was quite literally hung open, before clarisse shut it and chris mentally ran laps at the fact that sheâd touched him. âtheyâre so together.â
âundeniably.â
âwhatâs undeniable?â
chris jumped back at percyâs sudden intrusion into the conversation, âcmon man.â percy shrugged, âwhatâre you guys talking about?â clarisse rolled her eyes, ânone of your business, learn some manners and stop butting into conversations.â it was percyâs turn to roll his eyes, before they focused on the two of you.
âher laces are double knotted, they were untied two seconds ago, she never double knots.â chris rose his eyebrows at percyâs observant eyes, âluke tied them.â he turned back to the picnic table as clarisse turned to her siblings. leaving percy to sigh, âguess iâm painting after all.â
i mean, he had to keep an eye on you. right?
percy had been painting for a record time of ten minutes, before youâd managed to get annabeth to take him away so you could be with luke. sheâd unsurprisingly caught on pretty quickly, especially when the two of you had accidentally worn eachothers shirts to the bonfire.
âwhatâre you doing here seaweed brain?â
percy visibly jumped at annabeths voice, to lukeâs amusement. âyou alright there?â percyâs thumbs up was a quick response as the boy turned to annabeth, his face was beat red. âhey, annabeth. whatâs up?â his voice crack caused luke to laugh, and for percy to roll his eyes.
âi need someone to train with.â
âthatâs nice.â
âiâm choosing you.â
âthatâs not nice.â
annabeth crossed her arms, her foot tapping impatiently against the floor. she was waiting for him to give in, and her harsh stare was more than enough for him to run after her. you walked to luke with a smile, he was currently bent over as he dabbed his brush in the paint. ânice ass castellan.â luke grinned at your voice, âthanks, yours is⌠nice i guess.â you punched his arm.
âi think we should go swimming tomorrow.â
âyou think?â your eyes flitted back up to his, before returning to painting.
âyes! thank you. iâll pack everything donât worry. we should bring the camera.â
âwho said i agreed?â
âyou didnât say no, you didnât shake your head, nothing indicating towards a no. you said, âyou think?â youâre asking me if i really want to go, and i do.â
you couldnât help the smile that came over your face, dam, luke castellan knew you like the back of his hand. âif you feel like skinny dipping, iâm not against it.â
âcastellan!â your voice was shrill as you chastised the man, accidentally flicking paint up at him as your hand waved around, his smirk was undeniably devious.
âoh itâs on.â he took his roller and ran it across your face as you shrieked, âiâm going to murder you!â

said he likes crazy
a âpartners in crimeâ installment - luke castellan x dionysus!reader
words: 2.1k
summary: (pre-established relationship) The one where only he can help you with a bad day, even if he's been avoiding you since your first kiss. Luke Castellan x fem!Dionysus!reader
a/n: SAID HE LIKES CRAZY GIRLS, BUT HE HATES WHEN I ACT CRAZY guys i didnt sleep for this pls tell me its ok
(posted 1/29/24, betaâd by the lovely ellie @lixzey )
â
Heâs been avoiding you.Â
To be specific, Lukeâs been running away from you. Typical son of Hermes, and a typical teenage boy at that. But if anyoneâs asked you whatâs up (which, they all have, after almost 4 years of seeing you two not go a day without bickering), itâs just easier to say youâve been busy.
Okay, so perhaps youâve been avoiding him too.
Annabeth clocked you as soon as you turned tail after almost bumping into him after archery practice. Damn children of Athena; itâd be nice if they werenât so perceptive sometimes.
âWhat did he do this time?â she pipes up, filling the silence of the Big House. Itâs late now, and the cabin counselorsâ meeting just ended.
âSeeing as youâre the one helping me with the paperwork tonight and not him, you can take a good guess, Annie,â you sigh.
Honestly though, who the fuck kisses someone senseless and then runs away? (Luke Castellan, thatâs who.) You werenât sure what to make of it. Youâre a daughter of chaos, after all, not love. But if thereâs anyone who can read your emotions better than yourself, itâs him.Â
Annabeth stares at her idiot brother through the window as he wanders in the grass outside the Big House.
âThat bad, huh?â
âHeâs justâŚbeing Luke,â you say, blinking slowly as you shuffle through the last of the files you need to put on your dadâs desk before you mutter, âIâm just having a bad day.â
A noise of concern makes its way up Annabethâs throat. You havenât had a bad day in a while, in all honesty, not one that makes you act like this, admittedly not one that makes you act like youâ the daughter of Dionysus, god of insanity, and not the daughter of Mr. D, camp director.
It was just a bad day until it turned into a bad week, and the voices in your head were starting to get loud without Luke distracting you. Because thatâs what he ultimately is, a distraction from your camp duties.Â
Thereâs so much to do and so little time, however, that you hide away your microexpressions that seem to be clawing at you from the inside. The anger, the mania, the hurt. If you unleash it, only the gods can predict how much of camp would be affected by your âoutburstsâ, as your dad likes to call them. Not like you had a choice in the matter. Your days of wreaking havoc are behind you, now presenting yourself as the stellar star of the Camp Half-Blood show. Itâs almost a one-woman production with you picking up after your father and trying to tame the traits he passed down.
Thanks for that, D.Â
So you give and you give and you giveâall your attention and time and effort into keeping camp upright, into being the perfect daughter, that at the end of the day, youâve drained yourself of who you are with who you try to be.
You look at your tired reflection in the window, before your eyebrow raises at the sight of Luke blending in with the shadows of the tree heâs leaning against. Idiot.
âAnnie, would you mindâŚâ
âYeah, Iâll do cabin checks myself. Might drag your brother to do them with me,â she smiles, patting your arm before grabbing her bag.
âIf he complains, let me know. Pollux has heard me bitch enough today.â The small girl raises an eyebrow at that, biting her tongue from responding. You chewed out a lot of people today, acting extra uptight and demanding of the counselors to âjust do the right thing.â It was almost insufferable, but despite you trying to hold it in, your emotions bled into their own. Everyone was agitated by the end of the meeting, filing out quickly with biting words and hot tempers. You couldnât help but notice Luke led them all out of there, and they also somehow got the feeling that he was to blame.Â
Smiling at Annabeth in thanks, you watch her walk out to Luke before punching him in the stomach as he grimaces, meeting your violet gaze through the window as he raises a hand. Itâs hard to tell if itâs to signal a truce or his embarrassment, but he trudges the way up the path and the door creaks open.
âHeard you were having a bad day,â he mumbles, scratching the nape of his neck. You look at him from the corner of your eye as you continue to write down the weekly to-dos and organize papers for your dad to sign and send back to Zeus.
âWhy are you still here, Castellan?â
âSo weâre back to that? I thoughtâŚâ his voice trails off at the sound of his last name, not Luke, not angelface, or anything in between, and both of you are unsure how to proceed. Neither of you have done this before, at least not with each other. You tilt your head to the side, daring him to speak, and it reminds him of a week ago, you bathed in sunlight when he leaned in and kissed you. Though if he did that right now, heâs not sure how youâd react.Â
âItâs just a bad day,â you whisper in defeat, lilac eyes wilting in front of him like an overwatered flower.
He realizes then that he cares for you more than he knows how to. And Luke knows what it means when youâre having a bad day.
Thereâs a deranged look in your eye, a subtle eye twitch and clench of your jaw that is almost insusceptible to the average demigod, but he knows youâre on edge, having taunted you mercilessly until you scream, cry, laugh, or all of the above. But most of all you look tired and in need of someone who knows how it feels to be underappreciated.Â
âDâs a great dad to the twins. But I just feel like⌠maybe he wasnât meant to be mine,â you whisper, rolling your tongue against the front of your teeth to push back the sob a 14-year-old version of you would let out deep in the dark of cabin 11, having been there for months and knowing Dionysus was your father and waiting for him to see you. To know you.Â
âGiving me a hard time about all of this,â you say, hands gesturing to the things you have to prepare for him by morning. Youâre overworked, underpaid, and definitely not appreciatedâ and Luke decides he hates your dad for what he puts you through, not just as a shitty camp director but as a shitty dad. Heâs learned to live with the hurtâto use it to fuel his vengeance for how he plans to make the world better. But your ambition makes you change yourself constantly to try to be better. Both fatal flaws are fueled by the ignorance of your fathers. He knows the feeling all too well.
He knows you.
âWhat do you need?â he asks simply, stepping closer to your form hunched over the desk.
âI can do it, you know. Dâs wrong about me,â you whisper, and the words come out sounding so desperate for him to believe the performance you always put on that you avert your eyes.
He doesnât need to be convinced; instead, he holds his arms out waiting for you to let you make the next move. Luke is neither a fool nor a knaveâ there are no tricks here, no hidden agenda as he watches you try to compose yourself with a deep breath instead of showing him the real you. The one whoâs beneath the mask of being head counselor, your fatherâs saving grace, and the one who carries her responsibilities like Atlas carries the weight of the sky.
âI know you can. You always have. You really think Iâm here to help you file paperwork?â
âWill you let me?â Whether he meant sharing the workload or being there for you, you wouldnât dare to ask. Itâs all the same, anywayâlaying yourself bare for someone to peek into your mind and have them not laugh at it.
Suddenly you speak, and the intensity of your tone makes him straighten his posture.Â
âSometimes⌠Do you ever feel the need to justâŚâ
âWhat?â He reaches out to tug your hair, and in the dim light, he can see the bloom of your cheeks. Youâre shy, and Luke thinks you look soft like this, wary of how he perceives you.
âI shouldnât.â Fuck the gods. He can see the thought form in your eyes, the heat of your stare tearing through his, and his lips pull into a smirk.
âWhat was that, Trouble?âÂ
âLuke, donât be an assholeâŚâ You say warily, biting the inside of your cheek. Thereâs no way youâre going down in the history books for cursing the gods because Luke Castellan of all people made you.Â
âI thought you liked me like that,â heâs grinning now, and grabbing your chin lightly, mouthing the words to echo your thoughts.Â
Fuck the gods.
âFuck.â you whisper, before your voice fails you, your eyes closing both from his touch and the genuine fear of the heavens falling down from the sacrilege falling from your lips.
âLouder,â he whispers, pulling your face up close to his, âcome on, you used to be more fun, Trouble. I believe in you.â
âFuck!â you say louder and heâs whispering in your ear, urging you to toe the line between perfect child and degenerate.
âSay it again.â
âFUCK! FUCK THEâŚâ you yell before you sigh exasperatedly, eyes widening as you feel the breath release from your chest before your head lolls onto his shoulder.Â
âGods, youâre fucking insane, Castellan.â
He laughs lowly, and it sounds as sweet as sin. Your smiling lips make an imprint on his collarbone, and he wishes they would sear themselves on there for the rest of eternity.
âHey, I get it from you. Feel better?â
To be seen is a fickle thing. But to be known is something more intimate, and nothing will be able to erase the connection you both shareâfatal flaws and all. There are things you canât change about people, what they are at their core, and so he takes what you hate about yourself with both hands and pulls you towards his chest until you settle against him with a sniffle. Luke tilts your chin up again, a rough thumb wiping away evidence of your watery smile. He thinks he sees a glimpse of a past youâa younger one that dyed his socks purple to make him feel like he belongs here. And he knows now that he does belong with you, right here as he holds you in the quiet of the Big House.
âUgh, Iâll kiss you later, I still have to finish up here. Youâre not off the hook, angelface.â You sigh, pushing away from him before he tugs you back, your feet stumbling as you roll your eyes at his impish expression.
âLet me make it up to you then, Trouble.â
âWhat, so you run away again?â you scoff, snickering at the sight of his ego being taken down a notch.
âIâve justâŚ.I donât know how to do all of this with you. Guess Iâm worried it wonât meet your expectations, Miss Head Counselor.â A boyish sort of bashfulness crosses his features, and heâs twirling a piece of your hair in his hands like spinning silk.
âI just hope you never stop surprising me. Thatâs all I ask.â
Your hand touches his wrist lightly, and he sighs like youâve already taken his breath away.
âI keep my promises. Do you?â
âWho said a kiss was a promise? I meant it as a threat,â you laugh before heâs pressing your hips into the table, nose nudging against yours and suddenly work is off the table for the rest of the night.
You on the table, however, well... that could be negotiated.
âI knew something was wrong with me when your so-called threats got less scary and more sexy,â Luke teases, running a finger on the side of your cheek. His breath tickles your lips, and you can imagine the rage your father would feel if he caught the two of you in his office like this. Besides the blatant defiance, you briefly wonder if your rebellion would get him to respect you more. An interesting thought.
âYouâre absolutely terrible. I need to get this done⌠The gods donât wait for us.â
A weak sigh leaves your mouth as your brain is already riddled with thoughts of him and he closes the gap between your lips.
âThey can wait until morning. For now, youâre mine.â
â
âYou canât love someone unless you love yourself first â bullshit.
I have never loved myself.
But you â
Oh god, I loved you so much I forgot what hating myself felt like. (via swxrn-in)â

Poison Ivy & Daisies
Clarisse La Rue x Demi-god!Reader
One-shot
Summary: Clarisse La Rue has been on your mind since the day you saw her, but because of your nervousness and her stand-offish attitude, you could never build up the courage to actually talk to her. At least, that was until you tripped on a rock
Warning(s): Swearing, mentions of r being clumsy, no pronouns used, & nervous/awkward!r
Notes: This is my first work for Clarisse. I'm still getting used to writing for her character, lemme know what you think
From the moment you stepped into camp, your mind has been plagued with thoughts of Clarisse La Rueâliterally. The first time you saw her you thought you were looking at a princess. The person who was showing you around immediately warned you as soon as they noticed your longing stares.
You were then informed about Clairsseâs more⌠violent ways. You could care less. All you knew was that she was the most beautiful woman you have ever laid your eyes uponâbut of course, you didnât get the courage to talk to her until two months after you got to camp.
She was definitely stand-offish, that was evident. It wasnât until you accidentally bumped into her that you finally spoke to her.
You were walking, not paying attention, when you suddenly tripped on a rock. You yelped as you tripped, but instead of meeting the ground like you expected, you bumped into someone. This person stumbled back a step before glaring at you, a glare so deadly you could feel it.Â
Your heart nearly leaped out of your chest when you caught sight of the person. Clarisse fucking La Rue. Just your luck. You gulped as you looked back at her. You opened your mouth to say something, but the sound failed to come out.Â
âWatch where youâre going,â the Ares kid seethed with her fists balled up.
âRâright. Sorry, I didnât see you,â you nervously apologized.
âDonât let it happen again, or else,â she threatened before walking off. You were too busy wiping dirt off of your shirt to see Clarisse looking back at you one more time as she walked away.
The incident continuously haunted you. You finally get a chance to talk to your crush, and that is how it happens?Â
The next time you saw her face to face was the following week. You were practicing your sword fighting when suddenly somebody approached the dummy near yours. You didnât think much of it as you continued to focus on your swinging and slashing.Â
âThatâs my dummy,â you heard from beside you. You look over to see it was Clarisse who you heard. Any bit of confidence you had before instantly vanished.
âYour dummy?â
âDid I stutter?â
âUm, noâno you didnât. I justâI just didnât know.â
âAnd your slashing is pathetic,â Clarisse added before pushing you to the side. âYouâre supposed to cross then stab. Not the other way around.â She rolled her eyes before demonstrating for you. After she showed you, she looked over to you again. âAre you just going to stand there? Repeat what I did.âÂ
You werenât sure how, but from that point on you started going to daily practices with Clarisse. Youâre still a little confused on the specifics. One moment, she seems repulsed by you, but the next, she was training you. She never outwardly said it, but daily training with Clarisse automatically became apart of both her and your routines. You werenât complaining.Â
â
Months and months of training led to this moment; capture the flag. You were surprised when Clarisse told you she wanted you on her team, usually people wanted the opposite. It didnât take much convincing to get Annabeth on board. You couldnât blame her; itâs not that you were bad at fighting, you just had the tendency to be clumsy at the worst times.Â
Your job was simpleâstick by Clarisseâs side. You missed the looks Clarisseâs half-siblings gave her when she revealed this part of the plan, and the glare she sent their way.Â
You and Clarisse were crouched behind a tree, waiting for the right moment to act. While Clarisseâs eyes were busy surveilling the area, you were too busy admiring her in her armor. How could you not? It wasnât until you felt something hit your chest armor, that you were pulled out of your trance.Â
You looked down, startled, and saw that it was Clarisse who hit your chest armor. âStay focused.â She said as she continued to look around.
âRight. Focused.â You cleared your throat, eyes following to where the other girl was staring. âYou look really nice by the way. The armor suits you,â you complimented. You had no idea where the spur of confidence came from. All you knew was that Clarisse was gorgeous, and you hoped she knew it too.
The compliment caught her off guard. She had no idea as to why you said what you did, frankly it confused her. But before she could utter a word, she saw her teammates signal to her. Guess her response would have to wait.
â
After the incidentâthat being Percy breaking Clarisseâs spear, and then him being claimed by one of the big threeâeverybody made sure to steer clear of Clarisse. The scream she let out was a reminder of why. It has been awhile since anybody has seen her that enraged. The only person to not follow this unspoken rule was you. You knew enough to know how important that spear is to her, so you could imagine how infuriated, and upset she was to see it rip in half.Â
You went to knock on her cabinâs door, but pulled your hand away when you noticed it was already open. You lightly pushed it open more before walking inside. Everybody else was gone, and it seemed like Clarisse was too until you caught sight of her sitting on the edge of her bed with both halves of her spear on her lap. She didnât need to look up to see that it was you who walked in.Â
âWhat are you doing here?â She inquired, not looking up from her broken spear.Â
âI just wanted to check on you,â you responded in a painfully soft tone.Â
âIâm fine.â Her tone was dry and monotone. You carefully got closer before sitting down beside her, and to your dismay, she didnât tell you to go away. You watched as her thumb brushed against her spearâs handle.Â
âDo you wanna talk aboutââ
âI donât need your pity, nor your comfort,â Clarisse interrupted.Â
âRight, sorry,â you responded as you nodded your head. You suddenly remembered what was in your back pocket. âOh, I uh,â you pulled out a daisy from your back pocket. âI saw it and I just thought of you,â you shrugged as you held it for her to see.
âA daisy.â The flower's stem was a slightly bent, the pedals were a mess, yet it was still beautiful.
âYeahâif itâs stupid I could justââ
âNo!â Clarisse said louder than intended. She cleared her throat, âItâs fine, I mean.â Butterflies erupted in her stomach as she watched a smile graze your face.Â
âHere,â your smile never faltered as you handed it to her. As she went to take it from your hand, her hand touched yours. The action caused heat to rush to the other's face.
âThank you.â She averted her gaze, looking down at the daisy you handed her. âItâs⌠nice, I guess,â she uttered as she continued to study the flower.
âYou welcome,â you replied as you looked at her admirably. âSorry if itâs a bit messed up. Itâs been in my back pocket for, like, a day.â
âItâs perfect.â Her words catch you off guard, a warm familiar feeling rushes through youâthe same feeling you get when you think of the woman.Â
âPerfect flower for a perfect girl,â you said with such fondness in your voice. Now it was your turn to catch Clarisse off guard with your words. She pulls her eyes away from the daisy to look at you. Nobody has ever called her perfect before, and she knew you meant it.Â
Her eyes flickered down to your lips, an action that doesnât go unnoticed by you. It was just then that you realized how close your face was to hers. You both subconsciously begin to slowly lean in; âCan I kiss you?â You murmured. Instead of giving you a verbal response, her hand reaches up to softly cup your face before she leans in further. Her lips touches yours, sending electricity down your spine. Her lips were soft and welcoming as you kissed her back.Â
But before the kiss could go any further, the cabin doors abruptly opened. Your lips tear away from hers as you both look over to see who was at the door. Of course, the person who happened to catch you and Clarisse kissing was an Aphrodite kid. You looked away with flushed cheeks while Clarisse tried as hard as she could to hide her embarrassed expression.
âWhat do you want?â She asked impatiently, her arms crossed.
With a smirk, the other camper responded. âI need Y/Nâs help with something.âÂ
âComing,â you managed to say. You got up to follow the camper, but not before looking back at Clarisse with a lovestruck expression. Clarisse could feel her heartbeat pick up as you made eye contact. When you left, she let out a sigh as she brushed back her hair.
No doubt this would be the talk of the camp by dinner. But for once, Clarisse didnât mind.

May I request a Luke Castellan x reader who happens to be Annabethâs older sister? They like each other, but they pretend they donât. Thank you!
Ë â I THINK YOUâLL LIKE
parings: luke castellan x chase!reader
summary: that one where you're annabeth's older sister, and you and luke like each other but don't admit it.
an: YAY, I'M SO EXCITED FOR TODAY'S EPISODE! I think I might have lost my way in the writing đ¤Śđźââď¸. and if there are any grammar mistakes, forgive me đ
( last work || go to main masterlist )
You had woken up early that morning, expecting it to be like any otherâgetting up, getting ready, and heading to the arena to train the younger campers. You enjoyed the routine, especially passing by Hermes' cabin to catch a glimpse of Luke interacting so amiably with his half-siblings, causing your heart to skip a beat.
Determined to head to the training area, you were interrupted by a younger camper who needed help tying the laces of their worn-out sneakers.
"I thought you had this down, Claire," you said to the daughter of Hermes while expertly looping the shoelaces.
"I couldn't figure out what you did at the end," she murmured, glancing around as if expecting someone.
You eyed the younger girl suspiciously and proceeded to show her how to tie the knot. "Well, you just need toâ"
"Hey, Y/N." Luke cut in as he jogged towards you.
Standing up, you turned to face Luke and saw him handing out sweets to Claire.
"I can't believe you just did that," you accused, pointing a finger at him.
"I didn't set anything up." He raised his hands, laughing as if surrendering. "I like your braid." Luke approached, tucking away a loose strand of your hair. "Suits you."
Feeling your cheeks warm, you stepped back from the brunette and crossed your arms.
"What do you want, Luke?" You asked curiously, starting to walk as you noticed some kids from your cabin heading in the direction you were supposed to be going.
Luke matched your pace. "Can't a dear friend want to see you?" He asked, and you felt one of your hands brushing against his as you walked side by side. "Actually, I-I..." He was interrupted by Annabeth calling out to you.
You both stopped, and Luke stepped back, scratching his neck as if embarrassed.
"Luke! Y/N!" You watched your sister come towards you. "Come on, Y/N, I've got a new tactic I want you to try with the bow," Annabeth said excitedly, pulling you towards the arena.
"Go on, then!" Luke waved to you. "Mind not hitting any campers with your bow, Y/N/N." He teased.
"You're an idiot, Castellan," you teased back, running off with Annabeth while hearing Luke's laughter.
The journey to the arena was short, but Annabeth wouldn't stop discussing the idea she had for the next capture the flag.
"He likes you," Annabeth halted before the arena entrance and stared at you.
You stopped and laughed at her. "He doesn't."
"He does," she insisted. "And you like him too." She slung her arm around your shoulder, amused because you and Luke were obvious to everyone at camp except yourselves.
"He's just a friend, Annie," you said as you both entered the arena.
The morning passed swiftly, not because you dwelled on what Annabeth had told you earlier or because Luke wanted to talk to you earlier. Soon enough, you found yourself alone in the arena, searching for your broken bow and arrows, supposed to be where you always left them but nowhere to be found today. Determined to fix it, you murmured, "I'm sure I left it here," while scanning through various other campers' bows.
"You left it here," Luke appeared behind you.
"Gods!" You startled, placing a hand on your chest and turned to him, annoyed.
"I didn't know I was that ugly to startle you," Luke said, leaning against a table nearby.
"You're not ugly, Luke," you mumbled softly, looking at him. "Wait what do you have behind you?" You asked, approaching him.
"Nothing," he murmured, turning so you couldn't see what he was hiding.
"Let me see, Luke," you stepped closer, trying to grab whatever he was holding.
Luke stepped back, and you stepped forward, causing both of you to collide and end up almost face to face, except for the height difference.
"I really want to kiss you right now," Luke spoke softly, and you wondered if you heard that correctly.
Summoning courage, you looked at him and locked eyes with his mouth. Luke released what he was holding, brushing a hand on your waist, pulling you closer. He looked at you, waiting for some sign of confirmation, and you stood on tiptoes and kissed him. Luke's hand cupping your cheek as he leaned in. Time seemed to stop as your lips met in a gentle yet fervent kiss, a mix of warmth and electricity passing between you.
When you pulled away, a gentle smile graced Luke's lips, and you were sure you were blushing. You rested your head on his chest, and he placed a kiss on your head. "I have something for you," Luke suddenly spoke and moved away to where he had hidden something. "That's why I wanted to talk to you earlier, but Annie showed up, and..."
"So, you used Claire to delay me?!" You accused, laughing, then stopped when you realized what he was holding.
"Don't blame me; I wanted to surprise you." Luke explained, and you couldn't help but find it endearing that he sought help to surprise you. "I saw it broken yesterday." He extended your bow towards you. "I tried fixing it myself, but I don't have the skills of a Hephaestus kid," he chuckled nervously. "I think youâll like."
You took your bow from him, amazed at Luke's gesture. "It's perfect, Luke," you ran your hand over the drawings - more like scribbles - that weren't there before. "I love it." Surprising him, you hugged him, and Luke let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Thank you, truly."
Luke hugged you back, his arms enfolding you with a mixture of surprise and contentment. "Anytime, Y/N." he murmured, his voice soft.
You pulled away, holding the repaired bow with a newfound appreciation. "I can't believe you did this," you said, a smile lighting up your face. "You're more talented than you think, Luke."
He scratched the back of his head, a bashful grin spreading across his features. "Well, I had some inspiration." Luke's eyes met yours, holding a warmth that sent a rush of comfort through you.
"Thank you, Luke," you repeated, feeling genuinely grateful. "I owe you one."
He chuckled softly. "How about you owe me a rematch at capture the flag?"
You laughed, nodding in agreement. "You're on, Castellan."

Can you write a poly Yandere Percy x reader x Yandere Annabeth, thanks!
â đ â lady l: I made one of these, but it was based on the Reader being the daughter of Aphrodite, this time it's more general. Anyway, I hope you like it and forgive me for any mistakes! đ§Ąđ
âtw: possessive and obsessive behavior, polyamorous relationships, unhealthy relationships, mention of death and murder.
âđŚpairing: yandere!percy jackson x gn!reader x yandere!annabeth chase.
You had recently arrived at Camp Half-Blood. You had gone a little later than the other campers but you didn't mind. You were quickly claimed by your divine parent, moved into your Cabin, and continued to live normally at the camp. Training, learning and training.
That is until you caught the attention of Percy and Annabeth. You already knew them, heard about them but never actually talked to them. Not because you didn't want to, but because you lacked the opportunity. Again, you were more concerned with gaining glory and living your life as a demigod. Too focused on yourself to notice the couple's attention on you.
They had seen you and were interested. Percy was the one who approached first, always hospitable and kind, answering any questions you might have about the camp or training. So welcoming, he assured you that everyone would be kind to you and treat you well. True to his word, you were well received.
Annabeth watched from a distance, always hidden by her cap. She was more discreet than her boyfriend, kindly offering advice you might need, like how to handle something or even help with studying. She is more than happy to teach you everything she can.
It didn't take long for them to become obsessed with you. At first, they were worried that it might affect their relationship, but that was quickly ruled out. Percy and Annabeth knew that you wouldn't be a hindrance but rather an addition.
They spent so much time by your side that you couldn't help but fall in love with them both. It wasn't what you intended, nor what you thought you would believe when you came to Camp Half-Blood, but you can't help it. They were so kind to you and protective. You were in love.
Annabeth was the one who noticed your feelings first. Always very perceptive, she didn't take long to notice. The way you seemed to be shy around them, how you blushed slightly when one of them complimented you. Really, you were adorable.
Percy only found out after Annabeth told him and he was ecstatic. They both were. You could become theirs. So, that's how they confessed to you. During one of the full moons of the camp, you were called by them to the clearing and there, where only the three of you were the witnesses, they confessed what they felt. That they were in love, that they loved you and wanted you. You, of course as passionate as they were, accepted.
The relationship worked, despite your reservations. You never thought you would be part of a throuple, but you couldn't deny that you were loving it. Percy and Annabeth were so perfect for you, so warm and passionate that you melted with every touch. You were so in love that you didn't notice the signs of their obsession.
Annabeth is extremely possessive and controlling of you. She's always warning you to stay away from the other campers and just stay with her and Percy. She hated when someone approached you and when they did, she threatened them and if the threat didn't work then Percy would deal with it.
She hates it when people touch what belongs to her and you were hers. Annabeth won't let anyone take you away from her. She is a proud daughter of Athena, there is no way in hell she would accept losing.
Percy was always very overprotective of you and Annabeth, but especially of you. Because you were new at the camp, it was his duty to protect you from all dangers. He hates it when you go on quests, as he can be dangerous and will beg to accompany you. He's quite clingy too and is almost always clinging to you.
He's more than willing to deal with the other campers for you. Be it accidents like knocking someone over with a wave to even accompanying them on quests and "accidentally letting a monster kill them." He's not against threats either.
Percy and Annabeth adore you immensely, they love spoiling and taking care of you. Annabeth loves it when you lay on her lap and listen to her read a book to you and Percy loves playing in the water with you.
Both are ruthless when you are in danger. They will kill, maim and disembowel anyone, anything that dares to lay a finger on you. It's moments like these that make them question whether you should be there. It doesn't matter if you are a child of Ares, for example, this is not your fight.
They divide you and there is no jealousy between them, considering how much they trust each other. But they enjoy having their one-on-one time with you as well as together. It helps to strengthen the bond with you. They love you so much, there is nothing they wouldn't do for you.
You were too involved in the relationship, in the manipulation, to notice the signs of what was happening around you. The deaths, the disappearances... They all seemed unimportant when you were with them. You belonged to them and they will never let you go.

Luke Castellan. Wounds
Luke Castellan X Apollo!Daughter!reader
Summary: In which Luke got small wounds and he's being stubborn as hell
"I don't need your healing magic power ugh" "yes yes you do <333"
A/n: "I can change him" "remember who the real enemy is!" I might join him instead and I'm trying aaaah đ
Luke Castellan lay in his makeshift infirmary, his usually vibrant eyes dulled by sickness.
Annabeth, had insisted on a medical check-up, much to his stubborn resistance.
The camp's medic, not daring to face Luke, had reluctantly agreed to let (Name), the daughter of Apollo, tend to him.
"(Name)," Luke rasped, his voice a mere whisper. "I don't need your healing powers. I'm perfectly fine."
She raised an eyebrow, unimpressed by his defiance. "Sure, Luke. That's why you're lying here looking like you went a few rounds with a cyclops."
He managed a grin. "Maybe I did. It's just a scratch."
She shook her head, a small smile on her lips. "You're impossible, Luke."
As she examined him, he couldn't help but notice the warmth in her hands and the calming aura that enveloped her.
It was a stark contrast to the cold atmosphere of the infirmary.
"You're lucky Annabeth forced you into this check-up," she remarked, her fingers over his forehead. "You wouldn't last another day without proper care."
"I don't need anyone to take care of me," he mumbled, though his resistance was losing its edge.
"Oh, I can see that," she teased, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "That's why you're practically glowing with health."
He rolled his eyes but didn't protest.
There was something about her presence that eased his discomfort. Maybe it was the gentle way she treated him or the fact that she was the only one he tolerated when he was at his weakest.
"You know," he began, his voice a bit less strained, "I might consider getting sick more often if you're the one taking care of me."
She chuckled, a melodic sound that filled the infirmary. "Nice try, Luke. But I think once is more than enough for everyone involved."
Their banter continued, the atmosphere lightening with each exchanged word.
As she administered a healing concoction, their eyes met, and a silent understanding passed between them.
"You're not so bad when you're not plotting world domination," she teased, a soft smile gracing her features.
He grinned, the playful glint returning to his eyes. "World domination is overrated anyway. I think I'd rather have someone take care of me like you do."
She chuckled again, the flirtatious undertone not lost on either of them. "Well, don't get too comfortable. This is a one-time offer."
"Shame," he replied with a mock pout. "I was starting to enjoy being pampered by the favorite daughter of Apollo."
As the day turned into evening, (Name) continued to stay by Luke's side. The infirmary, once a place of discomfort, became a home of shared laughter and a connection that went beyond the demigod duties.
In the quiet moments, as Luke drifted into a restful sleep, (Name) couldn't help but admire the vulnerability beneath his tough exterior.
And so, in the warm glow of the infirmary's lamps, the daughter of Apollo watched over the fallen hero, silently acknowledging that sometimes, even the strongest warriors needed a healer's touch to mend both body and soul.
