Dancing but also an investigation going on

Mulder and Scully getting lowkey jealous of eachother's partners

Having to engage with social media- Scully HATES this

Turns out they're both actually quite good dancers

They get so far through the competition that they start actually competing with eachother and it gets kinda intense

One of them wins? 👀 Who?

Hallowe'en week,,, Scully gets a slow serious creepy song/dance whilst Mulder gets the Ghostbusters theme

Are they undercover or openly FBI? Maybe one of them is undercover and the other not for ~tension~

If either of them is not undercover. The 'it must be an X-File 😉' jokes get old REALLY fast

Couples choice. Mulder refuses the sad backstory card of Samantha's abduction and instead does an epic musical homage to a sci-fi movie that he loves

Scully has a really emotional training week reel being like "This is for my dad who passed away...he was a navy captain and kinda absent but I loved him... :'(" and then the song is In The Navy by The Village People

MUSICAL WEEK Mulder is in HEAVEN because I do subscribe to the headcanon that he's a secret musical lover. He gets annoyed at the abridgement of the songs but other than that he gets to nerd out and it's excellent

There's a betting pool in the FBI over who will get further and also how far each of them will get

As much as I hate Hollywood AD what if it's after that. And they cannot live the film down. Nah actually pre-FTF would be funnier for the Tension™️

Costume puts Mulder in a wide-open shirt every other week for no reason

He gets really into the makeup process as well. By the fifth week he's doing his own foundation and other basics

Scully's costumes are initially quite reserved because she terrifies the costume people away from classic oversexualisation but as the show goes on she chooses to get more risqué

Both of them are always high on the popular vote

Filming training week videos makes Mulder super flustered but the audience just find that INCREDIBLY endearing and his ratings soar

The other celebrities would be people they know or at least have heard of? But none of the celebs have heard of them so it's lowkey one-sided fanning at the beginning before they all know eachother more personally

Maybe one of the celebs is someone who Scully REALLY admires and she's super shy around them but then they become besties

Mulder makes friends with all the stage crew by the way. Specifically the lighting guys
