#ra speaks#personal#my sister is very lonely out west but got a horse oh maybe a year or two ago from one of the wild horse auctions#she’s been training this horse/having her trained when she’s no around Piper is her best friend out there#maybe a month or two ago the barn where piper is staying got some bad hay that made a lot of horses including piper sick#but piper just. never got better.#she wasn’t eating well she had chronic fevers it was looking bad#some sort of autoimmune flare up that the bad hay caused#piper has been in and out of IC. she only eats if she’s on heavy steroids that really whack her immune system#now there’s a concern that she has leukemia and will need to be put down#and I know this horse is my sisters lifeline out there so I wanted to call her tonight but it went straight to voice mail#and now I’m sad :(
