#sola said#it's been a WEEK but at least now it's OVER#some real 11:59pm turn ins but winter quarter is DONE#feels too flippant to celebrate. and to have that be a weight off my shoulders when#gestures vaguely at state of the world#and to say like. the timing of the quarter system plus my at this point nearly traditional mid-march academic burnout plus#everything happening this week#because there is no good timing for this. and it's not just this week it's just more visible and more visceral rn#but you love writing final essays trying to be levelheaded and analytical about the marginalization of asian americans#when it's just. it is important to know your history i am grateful more than ever that i know it and that i've had the space of this class#during this quarter to learn it and to talk about it with other aapi folks but also#sometimes it's not meaningful and not historicized and it's just NOW and it's tragic and gutting and horrible and shitty#idk like. i will go back to talking about ttrpgs#but don't get it twisted#not done being an angry person of color on main :)#if you thought i never fucking shut up about asian american issues before :)
