So I saw some people complaining about how Laudna reacted to Braius switching the mask of the matron with a fake, and like. What. The one post I’m specifically thinking of said she reacted in exactly the same way she would have at the start, which is DEMONSTRABLY not true! She didn’t shut down, she didn’t run away, she didn’t even take a swing at Braius, she just snarled (IN RESPONSE TO HIS SNARL, might I add) and then completed her initial objective of “put the mask on and get the Matron’s help”. Yeah she got angry, and That Is A Normal Response To Deceit And Betrayal. ESPECIALLY in a high-stakes environment when emotions are already running high. Honestly, I’m so incredibly proud of Laudna and how she handled all of that, because she put her emotional response aside and focused most of her energy on the task at hand - Predathogen, and the mask.
