mosses growing in the cracks in heavily used pavement cars rolling over them 76 times a day nothing but respect for our troops
#some of them around here are even putting out spore capsules.#like yes my children and my childrens children shall grow in this Wendy’s parking lot#also makes me think about the perks of microhabitats.#being a crevice parking lot moss means that you get to marinate in a puddle for a long while when it rains#and often you get runoff from the pavement which can contain Numtrient#and protection. don’t have to worry about certain things eating you if bigger things get scared off by cars#many downsides but like. there are worse places to be as a moss

Hot prompt: Mulder washes Scully's back.
And also for @fashionbooksboozefeminism who asked about 40th birthdays on the run. NSFW
***
Night, cash, Sonia and James. Mulder leads her down the faded carpet and wood-paneled halls of the old Poconos resort, nearly empty nine days past Valentine’s. Everything they own that isn’t in their bag is in the car outside. They stop in front of room 314.
Scully, a bobbed brunette in yoga pants and a hoodie, slouches against the wall. “If this turns out to be a reboot of The Shining, Mulder, I’m going to be really pissed.”
He works the key into the scuffed lock. “The Haunted Murder package wasn’t in my budget, don’t worry.”
They head inside, Mulder shutting the door behind them. The room is a perfectly preserved 70’s time capsule, amber-hued with shag carpet and velour club chairs. There’s a zigzag bedspread and a macramé plant hanger with a dusty silk fern on it.
“Groovy.” Mulder sets their duffel on the floor.
“Wow,” Scully says, peering around. Her mother would have killed for this room back when she hosted fondue parties and wore hostess pajamas. “Mulder, I feel like I’m in high school again. I’m going to need some blue eyeshadow, then we can play a few rounds of Mystery Date.”
Mulder examines a small porcelain shepherdess on the lamp stand. “Forty is the new sixteen. Go look around the corner.”
Scully picks her way past the walnut dresser and a floral folding screen. A yelp of laughter escapes her. “Mulder!”
The tub is glossy and red, heart shaped, with veined mirrored walls behind. It’s piled with bubbles, steam rising from the surface. A bottle of something called Sham-Pagne sits on the tiled rim. Her chest squeezes at the thought of him putting this together. She’s been remote since the New Year, prickly and self-contained as a spore.
He appears behind her, grinning. “James. Only the classiest for you, Sonia.”
She sits on the ledge, pats the bubbles with curious fingers. “Champagne glasses would have been classy, James.”
Mulder studies the bottle. “It’s got a screw top, so I think this is more a red Solo cup affair. Or straight from the bottle.“
Their joys are very small these days and she clings to them. “It’s absolutely awful, I love it.”
Mulder, beaming, squeezes her shoulder. “Go ahead and get in, I wanted it all ready for you so you could relax right off the bat.”
Scully stands, her back to the large mirrors. She undresses quickly, trying not to catch her reflection in the small mirror over the sink. She doesn’t want to see her choppy dark hair, the purple smudges under her eyes, her sallow skin and WalMart lingerie. A year and nine months and each glance at her reflection feels like watching a Dana who dropped out of med school to follow a band or wait tables at a truck stop. But she can’t tell her not to do it, she can’t wish it all away, it’s just... she is not suited for life in the bardo.
She climbs over the wide ledge, into one of the curves of the heart, and lowers herself into the bath. The steaming water is decadent after so many cramped showers, and this immersion feels baptismal. Perhaps she can come out fully cleansed, grocery store dye gone, Aphrodite on a bed of foam. The bubbles come up past her chin, making her sneeze.
Mulder sits next to her, opening the wine. “Oh, whoa, whoa, she's a lady,” he sings, holding the bottle like a microphone.
Scully scowls at him from the tub. “No need for that, thank you.”
“Tom Jones, Scully!”
She puffs bubbles at him, and they stick to his shirt. “Do you have any cups?”
“I was serious about the bottle, I think.” He passes it to her.
She takes a long swig. It’s sickly sweet and too fizzy. She could easily finish it herself. “Get in.”
He looks surprised. “Really?”
“It’s my birthday, you have to do what I say.” Another swallow.
He’s already undressing. “No, no, I don’t mind. I just figured you’d want to marinate alone.”
Mulder, never self conscious, has no concerns about the mirrors. He gets in the other bend of the heart and water overflows onto the carpet. “Oops.”
Scully, already buzzy, passes him the wine.
He takes a long drink, winces. “Good lord.”
“Mm,” she agrees, settling low in the water. It seeps up her chin length hair, making a sleek dark cap around her face.
Mulder puts the bottle down and fishes around in a wicker basket. He retrieves a pink pouf and a tiny bottle of cherry blossom body wash. “Scoot over here.”
She hunches into the corner. “No I’m comfable. ComFORTable.”
Mulder laughs. “How hard did you hit that bottle?” He reaches around to take her by the shoulders and pull her through the water until she’s settled between his knees like a cranky mermaid. He squeezes a pearly dollop of soap on the pouf and begins to wash her back.
“This is soapy water already,” she observes.
“Well, it so happens I just like touching you, so don’t be pedantic.”
She lets her head fall forward as he makes circles on her back, tries not to feel embarrassed about her bony spine and the furrowed landscape of her ribs. She hasn’t been this thin since the cancer hollowed her out, and she never let him see her this way back then.
Back then.
“Got you a little cake, it’s in the fridge,” Mulder says, like he can read her thoughts again.
“Maybe I’ll save you a piece,” she replies. She wants to be cheery for him, a brave little sailor. The body wash makes her think of spring in DC and she sniffs at it.
He drops the pouf to massage her slick skin with his hands. They’re a little calloused now from the kind of rough work he was never bred for. He works his thumbs beneath her scapulae and she wonders if he can unfurl them like wings, let her fly away.
She takes another gulp of wine. “Mulder.”
“Hmm?” His fingers knead her neck, each tight trapezius.
Scully turns in the water to face him, catches a flash of her reflection as she does. Her hair is kelpy, the heavy black eyeliner she wears now smudged about her eyes like Theda Bara.
She kneels between his bent knees. “Nothing.”
Mulder sighs. “I didn’t want it like this either.” He holds his arms out and she rests against his chest. The water sloshes gently around them as he enfolds her, his heart thrumming at her cheek. She imagines this is what the last moments in the womb are like.
“I’m sorry,” she mumbles into the wet dark of his body. “This is a really good present.”
His hands are skating over her back again with a washcloth this time. The texture feels good, centering her back into her bones. Sometimes she feels adrift from herself, dissociated, following her own body like a kite.
Mulder strokes her hair and she burrows her face up into his neck, her forearms pressed against his chest. She hopes he won’t sing Happy Birthday like he used to because it will undo her.
He doesn’t, just nuzzles in, whispering sweet nonsense into her ear. “I love you,” he says, in a voice like hot tea on a cold morning. He nibbles her unadorned earlobe.
Scully, who hasn’t wanted sex in over a month (or has it been two?), who has barely wanted to be touched, feels her body stirring. She turns her head, her earlobe chilled, and catches his lips with her own. She tugs at his longish hair, wanting to absorb him and his infinite love and his careworn soul. She nips his tongue.
His response against her thigh is instant and, bless him, he apologizes like a teenager on prom night. All this time and he’s still such a gentleman it might break her heart.
She pulls back, takes his face in her hands. How she loves his face, his autumn woods eyes and his mouth like a Botticelli angel. “Look at me,” she says.
He does, worry in his gaze. “Scully, it’s fine, I know y-“
“Shut up,” she says, with aching fondness. “Please shut up.” She thumbs his bottom lip.
He furrows his brow, uncertain.
Scully lets her legs float up off the bottom of the tub, twists so that she’s straddling his lap, her arms about his neck. “It’s my birthday. You have to do what I say.”
He swallows, still watching her. “As you wish.”
Scully tips her hips forward and he’s inside her, hot and hard and familiar.
Mulder’s eyes close and he murmurs some wordless hindbrain prayer.
There’s almost no leverage, but he’s holding her hips as she rotates them, groaning when she tightens her pelvic floor. She’s wrapped in warmth from the inside out, liquid heat, her breasts crushed to his chest. Water splashes to the floor.
Mulder slides his hands up so that his thumbs are at her waist, his fingers spanning her back. She sighs and leans into the brace of him, her chin tipped up.
He takes her left nipple into his mouth and her shoulders roll back, hands trailing in the water. She exhales hard through her nose. A memory comes to her, Mulder in the tub in Rhode Island, and she recalls even then the fierceness of the unnameable thing she felt for him. Love is such an inadequate word for this.
He’s slowly taken over their rhythm now, pulling her down harder, and she falls away into the dopamine surge. Panting now, belly dipping and rising. Tingling at her sacral spine.
Scully groans in disappointment when he turns his head from her breast. Her areola contracts in the cold, and Mulder runs a hand from her throat to the hot junction of their bodies. She is not long disappointed.
She sees then that he’s looking at the mirror wall, watching, and she’s afraid to do the same but cannot help her curiosity.
Her arched body is a full sail, held up by the mast of Mulder’s arm, rising and falling on an unquiet sea. Even with the glass veined and fogged she sees the slackness of desire in her mouth, her dilated eyes.
In the mirror, Mulder’s eyes are on hers, the face of a mystic in ecstasy. In the mirror she watches his jaw clench and his head roll back. Watches him grind his hips up into hers. He calls out to her god.
She’s dazed, visually overloaded. Scully leans forward to his neck again, biting at it as his fingers continue their steady work between her thighs. The hand that was on her back is on her ass now, and gripping hard.
“You liked watching,” he says at her temple and it isn’t a question, just an observation, but somehow the intimacy of him knowing it trips her over the edge. She’s lightning-struck after so long, her nerves overfiring, and she shudders back into his arms, gulping air.
He traces endless figure eights on her back, or maybe they’re infinity signs. He tells her about a raccoon he saw in the bakery parking lot, eating an entire raisin bread by itself. “It hissed at me when I got out of the car, Scully, and I don’t even like raisins.”
“You’re so brave,” she says. “Just to get my cake.”
“I’d fight a raccoon for you any day.”
When the water gets cold they emerge, ectoplasmic wafts of bubbles trailing behind them to the bed. They can shower later.
Scully, chilly now, wraps herself in the bedspread. She sits cross-legged on the bed like a wise old oracle. “Where’s my cake, please?”
Mulder opens the mini fridge and removes a perfect miniature birthday cake, sprinkles and fudge frosting and a vivid maraschino cherry. She might not save him a piece after all.
He brings her the cake and two plastic forks. A small white box.
“Mulder!” she exclaims. “I thought this was my present, I hope you didn’t really get me anything else.”
He sits next to her on the bed and rubs her back through the heavy comforter. Clears his throat. “It’s, um, it’s not from me, actually. I didn’t just run into a raccoon at the bakery.”
She looks at him in utter bewilderment. “What are you talking about?”
“Open it.”
A strange fear creeps over her as she fumbles with the tape holding the lid on the box. Her fingers are clumsy, numb, but she gets it off at last. Inside is a cheap cell phone, a burner. There’s a Post-It stuck to the front.
“Many happy returns of the day, Scully.
- Walter Skinner”

Chester: The Emotional Support Tardigrade [Master Doc]
Discovery adopts a baby Tardigrade that quickly becomes the "class pet"/mascot.
They name it Chester and he’s about as big as a house cat and friendly like a dog and his favourite place in the world is either on Stamets’s shoulder or tucked up in Tilly’s arm as she works. Sometimes he’s spotted perched on Reno’s head but that’s only when she thinks no one else is around (she has an Image to uphold and being sweet on this tiny universe travelling gremlin won’t cut it)
Stamets somehow changes the spores so they're little cat treat size and the main gang (Paul, Hugh, Michael, Tilly and Reno) all carry some
Owosekun knits him a blue and silver jumper so he has a uniform. (Detmer designs it)
He gets his own combadge and they train him to responds to certain commands
Commands Chester:
He knows “Bridge” but instead of engineering it’s “Stamets” and instead of Michael and Tilly’s room it’s “Aunties” and he goes there (or just teleports straight to Michael or Tilly)
[Paul (from like a hidden alcove on the bridge or something close): "Chester, Chester, AUNTIE" *pop* Michael: "OH SAREK!" Paul: *just fucking dying of giggles*]
The joke's on Paul though when Michael also trains Chester to respond to “dad” but he apparently gets confused and teleports onto Hugh instead and because Hugh thinks it was Paul’s doing, Paul hides out in Engineering for like 3 days
Hugh eventually teases Paul out by telling Chester to go to him with a little note attached saying "I've retrained him so I'm Papa and you're Dad because it sounds better" and Paul just fucking cries (Which confuses Chester because he knows tears are sad but Dad doesn't feel sad)
Black Alert Chester:
Every Black Alert he pops to Engineering because he knows he can't be with his dad but his also his big sis is always worried so he just like plops on her head. First time it happened they nearly got lost because Paul was laughing so hard
Tilly hit the floor laughing and Paul was so far gone in his laugh that like, you know when someone giggles Real Hard and they’re just reduced to *squeaks*? He was reduced to that
Meanwhile Reno walks in and sees Tilly on the floor sobbing with a tardigrade on her head, and Paul just *wheezing* in the chamber
Hugh is there (because it's now his station during Black alert) and he's dying too but trying very very hard to pay attention because he's worried about Paul
No one replies to post-jump Bridge hails because they can't so Michael is sent and she just walks in to: Tilly on the floor with her face covered by a tardigrade, laughing Paul still in the chamber but disconnected fucking crying Hugh sat with his back against the glass struggling to breathe, and Reno recording it all because she hates (loves) Paul
She tells the bridge “I have no idea what happened but everyone here is either crying, laughing, or crying laughing and Chester May or may not be smothering Ensign Tilly” Saru just fucking sighs like he's given up on the universe (it's because he has)
Emotional Support Chester: (You can’t be sad while a tardigrade is making little beeps and peeps at you)
You know when cats do that thing when they know someone is sad and keeps annoying them? He really really loves Michael
Michael being all sad and then she hears a weird noise and then Plunk! A cat sized tardigrade plops down on the bed next to her and just starts making lil noises until she picks him up and they sit together
Tilly walks in and is just like "awh :(" and sits next to her and hugs her
Alternatively: Same scenario but Plunk! And a fully grown sized tardigrade pops down next to her and just Lays On Top Of Her and Refuses to get up until she’s calmed down
So Tilly walks into that one, says “oh no”, tries to wrestle him away, and then gets sat on herself
They end up projecting a movie on the ceiling because “goddammit, we’ll be here for a bit, might as well watch a movie”
They both miss the start of their shifts so both Stamets and Saru go to their quarters and are all angry and pissy then they open the door and are just like "ah. Emotional Support Tardigrade is on duty. You are relieved from the shift" and they walk out
(Hugh checks on them later with chocolate and a dermal regenerator because emotions and also tardigrades are fucking heavy they've probably got bruises)
They comm them like “why aren’t you at your post” and they manage to wheeze “Chester is kinda crushing our ribs” and they’re like “oh worm, we’ll try and call him away so you can breathe” (They fail)
There's now a certain alert/notification you can send your CO and CMO in case of Chester Hugs (One of the Medical Officers becomes "SCM" which stands for "Specialist Chester Medic")
Havoc Chester
When dogs sometimes do that thing where they like to wander around their owners house at night and check in on everyone when they sleep? Chester uses his travelling abilities to wander around the ship and teleport into people's rooms. He’s almost always found sleeping on top of one of his favourite people on the ship and Refuses to get up unless they give him cuddles and carry him around
One day he sits on top of Tilly but cries whenever she puts him down or tries to give him to someone else, so for that day there's an extra person in the command training program (Saru tries very very hard to be stern but cannot deal with the cries either so just let’s it be and writes in his report that Tilly has “outstanding compassion and an incredible ability to continue working on her jobs even when tasked with protecting another member of the crew”)
Time Travelling Chester
Tardigrades teleport around time just like they do space and one day, when they need assistance and a distraction and just fucking Hope, the Enterprise bridge finds itself nearly jumping out of their collective skins when a sudden loud POP and PLUNK happens and this random creature they’ve never seen before hits the bridge floor, tosses a capsule on the ground with a bunch of notes and PADDs, and then POPS back out of existence on its way to distract their enemies
(It’s a command that takes more preparation bc it’s a longer flight for him, but he knows the command “Captain” as well as anyone, and even better than they could have hoped, considering they had to teach him who he was looking for through Holos and pictures)
Then when Pike grabs the capsule and is like “holy shit, I think I know what that was” he opens it and there’s a note on top of all the PADDs and notes and pictures and other shit from long lost friends, that just reads “We Got You”
Spock is just like "Jesus fucking Sarek Michael can you stop just adopting things really it's getting ridiculous" but secretly looks out for him and tells him to look after Michael (Spock is one to talk considering Sarek is just Collecting Children)
Also the Discovery crew can never tell when the Enterprise gets their updates because they’re all off the books (their entire ship is too, until the 24th century) so they just sort of Send Shit whenever? And sometimes they get capsules back with pictures and notes and recordings on old data PADDs that the ‘fleet wouldn’t miss/could easily be explained away as “broken on mission”
Okay so we may have gotten slightly obsessed but it was the best time ever and I want it to happen again (disco-headcannons you're amazing and I love you and your willingness to listen to my headcannon rambling)

How Sporebiotics Can Help Reverse Chronic Disease Dr. Mercola By Dr. Mercola By now, you probably know that probiotics are beneficial for you, but you may not be aware of sporebiotics, and how they can benefit a wide variety of health problems, including autism and other neurological and immune-related diseases. Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, a long-time mentor of mine, is both an M.D. and a Ph.D. While trained in Germany, his practice is based in Seattle, where he sees some of the sickest patients around. Obviously, if you want good health, you need to clean up your diet. We won't go into that here. Instead, we'll focus on spore-based probiotics, which are an excellent complement to regular probiotics. What Are Spore-Based Probiotics? Spore-based probiotics, or sporebiotics, are part of a group of derivatives of the microbe called bacillus. This genus has hundreds of subspecies, the most important of which is bacillus subtilis. Essentially, spore-based probiotics consist of the cell wall of bacillus spores. The first product of this kind came out in Germany in 1935 and was created by Gunther Enderlein, a German microbiologist. Contrary to popular belief, the human body actually has the ability to produce its own vitamin C. This is done by a specific species of gut microbes — the bacillus — which converts sugar into vitamin C. It's also involved in producing vitamin K, which works synergistically with vitamin D. "[T]hat was a revolution for me when I found this out," Klinghardt says. "Other species then have the function of creating amino acids. In fact, there is a famous Swiss researcher, Bircher-Benner, who invented muesli … Bircher-Benner was a wonderful researcher, a medical doctor who, in the 1940s, went across different parts of the world to see how long people lived and what they ate. He found a subculture in the Caribbean where people lived well into the hundreds, but they only ate one food. It was sweet potatoes. He thought 'How do this people survive on sweet potatoes?' Because there are no amino acids in it, no fatty acids. There's hardly any vitamins in it. What he found is that these inhabitants had a species of clostridium in their gut. They were actually producing the whole spectrum of the essential amino acids and the whole spectrum of essential fatty acids [in their guts]." Spore-Based Probiotics Are a Primary Tool to Boost Immune Tolerance There are at least 2,500 species of microbes living in your gut and most, if not all of them, serve your body in a symbiotic way. They either produce something you need, metabolize toxic products so they can be safely eliminated, or help reset or balance your immune system and immune tolerance, which goes deeper than fighting inflammation. As noted by Klinghardt: "Many of us have lost our tolerance towards the factors that are in our environment. Many patients have lost the tolerance toward food that would serve them in many ways, but they cannot tolerate it. The truth is that the healthier a person is today, the more immune tolerant that person is. That means, they're the ones that are not affected greatly by the electromagnetic environment. They're the people that avoid the chemicals that are in the air and in the food — the aluminum in the air, the glyphosate in the food. The question was always, 'Is immune tolerance a consequence of good health?' Or 'Is immune tolerance actually the factor that makes people healthy?' I would postulate the latter. So, the bacillus spores … dramatically increase our immune tolerance. With that it becomes not just one of the many things you can do for health, not one of the many other things you can try or put in your program, but it becomes a very primary issue. We have very few tools to predictively increase immune tolerance in a patient and the spores are right now No. 1." Sporebiotics Are Ideal if You're on Antibiotics As mentioned, these spore-based probiotics do not contain any live bacillus strains, only its spores — the protective shell around the DNA and the working mechanism of that DNA. As a consequence of this, they are unaffected by antibiotics. Many are overexposed to antibiotics, if not through medicine then through our food (as 80 percent of the antibiotics sold in the U.S. are used in food production). Antibiotics, of course, indiscriminately kill bacteria, both good and bad. This is why secondary infections and lowered immune function are common side effects of antibiotics. Chronic low-dose exposure through food also takes a toll on your gut microbiome, which can result in chronic ill health, not to mention the fact that chronic exposure raises the risk of drug-resistance. The beautiful thing about sporebiotics is that they can more effectively help reestablish your gut microbiome since they're not being destroyed by antibiotics. Moreover, most acidophilus products have the drawback of not being able to survive the passage through your stomach acid if you take them on an empty stomach, which most people do. Poor quality probiotics may not even be alive by the time you take them. The Importance of Healthy Biofilm If you take your probiotics after a meal, your stomach's pH will be slightly elevated, allowing some to survive, but you're still unlikely to get even 25 percent of the stated units of the product. "For [probiotics] to become active and actually work for you, they have to germinate. That's number one. They start to germinate in the small intestine, and then they have to establish residency. That means they have to actually talk to the other microbes and be accepted by them. The other species basically have to welcome them and have to agree to a certain number of them so they can establish themselves there. Because the bacillus species is a regular innate inhabitant of our normal bowel flora, the spores, once they [germinate], are fully accepted into the community of our resident gut microbiome, and unfold the property of their symbiotic contribution in the gut that way … [T]he research is very clear that the spores, when they … germinate, establish permanent residency for their lifespan, and start replicating in the gut … By the way, the bacillus spores tend to also be very actively involved in creating healthy biofilm, and I think this is important for people to know, because biofilm has gotten such a bad rep recently. All our resident microbes have a blueprint of themselves and leave a germinating layer in healthy biofilm, which lines the entire gut … [P]athogenic biofilm is a whole different animal, but we have to be careful with the insane strategies to destroy all biofilm. Healthy gut microbes have a blueprint of themselves lining the entire gut in biofilm, and the bacillus is very involved in creating healthy biofilm. The biofilm is [like] a nursery for the [microbes] we need to help break down our food, metabolize it, talk to the immune system, creating immune tolerance and all that." How Bacillus Spores Help Improve Immune Function Once established in your gut, the spores help serve a number of important functions. One is to improve your intestinal barrier function. The mucosal barrier in your gut is what decides which nutrients are absorbed and which are to be excreted. The intestinal barrier is also a major player in your immune function. So, to absorb the nutrients from your food, first the food must be properly broken down by the digestive process; then your immune system helps decide which components are allowed in and which are not. As mentioned, the spores increase immune tolerance, which means they help repair damage in your intestinal barrier. According to Klinghardt, they've been found to play a significant role in healing leaky gut. Secondly, the bacillus spores communicate with your immune system, delivering instructions to increase tolerance towards different food particles and to increase absorption of the food. "It's a fantastic step in all of medicine because we've been looking at all the other things that didn't work — the glutamine and various other probiotics that never really made a difference in that way. Now, the bacillus does that. It's absolutely beautiful what it does. Research [also shows] it increases IgA, a protective immune globulin in the gut. The bacillus has a fantastic effect in actually increasing innate immunity, the Th1-based immunity, the cell-mediated immunity. The common issue of people being so allergic today and so intolerant towards the environment really has to do with an upregulation of the Th2 shift. The adaptive immune system is usually activated at cost of the cell-mediated immune system and … vaccines play a huge role in that. There's a recent study showing vaccinated children have 14 times the incidence of severe developmental disorders and allergies. And so, the beautiful thing of the bacillus is it reverses that. It moves the Th1 that's being suppressed by the vaccines back up into its balance point. We've observed — in the autistic children community — fantastic benefits. Some of the damage caused iatrogenically is reversed by simply taking this product in small amounts. A five-year-old may just need the content of a quarter capsule once or twice a day to reset the system." How Microbes Communicate With Your Immune System The bacillus very effectively modulates cytokines — anti-inflammatory cytokines are up-regulated while inflammatory cytokines are down-regulated, thereby restoring balance between the two. This is important, as most of us are under daily assault from electromagnetic fields (EMFs), glyphosate- and atrazine-contaminated food, airborne aluminum and other highly inflammatory environmental factors. Spore-based probiotics works on all levels as an antidote to those assaults. Klinghardt goes on to cite recent research by Luc Montagnier, who discovered the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). He's spent the last few years looking at how microbes communicate with each other and with our immune system. As it turns out, they do that through emissions of electromagnetic waves in the light and microwave spectrum. Some are also in the lowest frequency spectrum. So, microbes recognize each other and communicate with our immune system via electromagnetic signals. Chemical signals are actually secondary. "One [microbe] sends out a spectrum of frequencies and the other microbe answers it by sending out the same pattern of frequencies … So, if you would stick a measuring instrument there, you wouldn't find anything because the two frequencies are exact mirrors of each other. They cancel each other out," Klinghardt explains. "When a new microbe comes in that is not welcome in the gut, there is none of the resident microbes in our immune system to cancel out their frequency. This is how the immune system recognizes the foreign microbe, mounting a huge response to it. It's a mechanism that is before the excretion of cytokines, and when we talk about leaky gut and the different mechanisms involved with that, Montagnier found there's a huge involvement with electromagnetic mechanisms that can cause virtually any dysfunction." Cellphones and Microwave Radiation Damages Your Microbiome Importantly, exposure to chronic and excessive levels of microwave radiation such as that from your cellphone, Wi-Fi, computers, tablets, wireless mice and more, will interfere with this communication. This is yet another way by which this kind of non-ionizing radiation can impact your health. (For a whole other mechanism of harm, please see my interview with Martin Pall, Ph.D.) As noted by Klinghardt, your microbiome is "hugely [and] directly damaged by the electromagnetic waves we're exposing them to." To put this into greater perspective, to understand why protecting microbes in your body is so important, consider this: The weight of the DNA in your cells is only 2 percent of the entire weight of all the DNA in your body, the rest belongs to the microbes living in your gut, sinuses, nose, eyes, skin and elsewhere on and in your body. Addressing EMF exposures has been a long-standing (and non-negotiable) aspect of Klinghardt's clinical prescriptions. Klinghardt won't even accept you as a patient unless you agree to remediate your EMF exposure, which typically involves a consultation with a building biologist.1 They typically bring $10,000 worth of very sophisticated meters to accurately identify and measure your magnetic, electrical and radiofrequency exposures. I felt it was so important that I had one done for my home and even though I had most of my RF exposure resolved, they were able to identify an ELF exposure from my uninterruptible power supply for my computer that needed to be moved to keep me safe. Bacillus Spores Increase Production of Other Beneficial Microbes as Well Klinghardt has found that sporebiotics will, over time, completely heal intestinal mucosal barrier dysfunction and related problems. In many cases, it can take four to six months for full resolution, but as noted by Klinghardt, "We've never had a product that could do that." Research has also shown that these spores massively increase reproduction of acidophilus, bifidus and other microbes in your gut via the electromagnetic messages they send out. This is entirely unique. When you take a regular probiotic, they primarily take care of themselves. Bacillus spores, on the other hand, actually enhance many of the other beneficial microbes. Bacillus spores also create 24 different substances that have strong anti-microbial properties. But they do not kill indiscriminately. They specifically suppress pathogens that do make a valuable contribution to the whole. "I think it's important for people to know that the old idea that there are good bugs and bad bugs is no longer true. We know that bad bugs become good bugs the moment they're integrated in our microbiome and the moment they're fed with the food that actually makes them behave properly," Klinghardt explains. "Every food [you] eat is a probiotic. It's either nurturing the symbiotic bugs in your system, or the pathogens, or (this is more important) makes out of symbiotic microbes pathogens that now behave in ways that is damaging us, or the right food can turn pathogens into symbiotic bugs. I know that this is not an area that has been investigated properly or has been understood, but there really is no such a thing as a pathogen. It becomes a pathogen when we feed it the wrong way; when we threaten it with electromagnetic waves. I did research years ago that showed fungi that live naturally in the gut, which might actually have contributed to our health, end [up being] highly pathogenic under the influence of microwaves." Clinical Observations Some of the hardest to treat patients are autistic children, in most of whom the Th2 part of the immune system has built up, through excessive stimulation with vaccines for example, at the cost of the Th1 system. For clarification, two separate parts of your immune system fight disease in your body. One is the innate immune system, which is always at the ready to attack invaders, and the other is the adaptive immune system. The adaptive immune system, in turn, consists of two separate arms known as Th1 and Th2. Th1 is commonly known as the cell mediated arm, and Th2 known as the humoral or antibody arm. Most vaccines preferentially stimulate the Th2 or humoral part of the immune system that produces antibodies. As a result of having an overactive Th2 system and an underactive Th1, autistic children will often have severe food intolerances. Some can only tolerate two or three foods, severely limiting their nutrition. In these kinds of cases, spore-based probiotics have been shown to increase the children's tolerance to a broad variety of foods within a few months. Another difficult to treat patient group is those with chronic intractable neurological disease such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, ALS and Lyme disease. "In that community, the spores have been invaluable," Klinghardt says. "They may have had 60 different documented food allergies before, but within a few months, there may only be five or six left." He also sees a significant improvement in general neurological symptoms with the spores, as well as improvements in vision. Overall, nearly all patients Klinghardt treats experiences tangible improvements when given sporebiotics. Lyme Disease Is a Hidden Culprit in Many Diseases Lyme disease is notoriously difficult to diagnose and treat, and because the symptoms vary so widely from one person to the next, most don't even know they're infected. Klinghardt and Marco Ruggiero have now developed a way of testing phalanges to improve Lyme diagnosis. Amazingly, of the first 150 patients tested at his office, only two were clear of Lyme. "When we broaden the definition of Lyme disease to include other chronic persistent infections like bartonella and mycoplasma, probably 80 to 90 percent of the U.S. population is suffering symptoms caused by chronic persistent infections, and that community … will improve to a degree or in major ways by adding in this beautiful immune modulator. We know that with the chronic infections the symptoms are not really caused by the [microbes]. It's the immune reactions to the [microbe] or the lack of symbiotic immune tolerance towards the microbes, and with giving the sporebiotic, we have access to that expression of illness. So, why do we have to deal with all these chronic persistent infections now? Well, it's the same factors that drive that — electromagnetic radiation is the huge one. It's immunosuppressive as a whole and inflammatory at the same time. And it's the environment of toxins. It's really those two factors that have deranged our immune system in such a way that it can no longer control or eliminate the bugs that are not integrated in our healthy microbiome … And so, with the Mega Sporebiotic, with increasing immune tolerance … our immune system stops attacking those microbes and actually start behaving. When they stop being attacked, they start behaving in symbiotic ways … The pathogen is trying to be accepted into a greater community of other microbes, and the Mega Sporebiotic has been the magic switch in the system to make people tolerant … Quite honestly, having a probiotic now that actually works gets rid of 50 other products that our poor patients have to swallow every day." Sporebiotics May Help Those Who Have Electrosensitivities Another category of patients that can benefit from sporebiotics are those struggling with electrosensitivities. A conservative estimate is that 3 percent of people, and maybe as much as 10 to 15 percent, are hypersensitive to EMFs. That said, it's worth noting that several studies indicate that anyone exposed to cellphone radiation is damaged on a cellular level, whether you actually feel it or not. Those who are hypersensitive, and feel the effects rather acutely, actually have the advantage of an early warning sign. Their discomfort prompts or forces them to implement remedial strategies to minimize exposure. "I meet people every day that are suffering from this, who can no longer exist in the current city environment or even in the countryside, and need to look for sanctuaries where they can exist," Klinghardt says. "We found there is [significant] evidence that these people either carry a high load of heavy metals in their system, which works like an antenna that concentrates the radiation in their system, or what is more common, that they have undiagnosed Lyme disease. [W]e have been successful in lessening the hypersensitivity largely by putting people on my non-antibiotic-based Lyme protocol plus protecting them from electromagnetic waves, which is part of my Lyme protocol. And so, by giving the protection for a while, radical protection for about six months and treating the Lyme disease, most people with electrohypersensitivity become non-sensitive. I also give high doses of methylated folate for a while. This is a group that usually benefits [from] 20, 30 or 40 milligrams of methylated folate. It's great for stabilizing a large portion of this group." More Information For contact information to Klinghardt's clinic, information on different treatment protocols, such as detox support and his treatment protocol for Lyme disease and more, as well as upcoming events where you can meet Klinghardt in person, please see KlinghardtAcademy.com. I will also be speaking with Klinghardt in New Jersey next year, May 4 through 6, 2018, although that event is not yet posted as of this writing, so be sure to check back for details. While you certainly need to address your diet and other lifestyle factors, especially EMF exposures, sporebiotics can be a very helpful adjunct. As noted by Klinghardt: "Seeding the gut with things that make it stronger, more resilient towards the offenses we present to it is a huge key to our time. We need to live through this insane time, and we need to use all the tools that give us more resilience, which is for me like a holy war. Resilience means immune tolerance — tolerating the stresses of our time, and any tool that does it, that is healthy, that doesn't have side effects, is important to have in our tool chest. [Sporebiotics] is one of the major ones."

The Secret Room
First you go in the warden’s office and right when you get in there, go all the way to the right. After you do that you put explosive gel on the wall and detonate them. You might have to spray more than one so the whole wall can blow up. It might take a while for you to get in but don’t worry you will get it. In that room you find a map and on it shows a way to Gotham City where you find two face in batman arkham asylum 2.
40 Hit Free Flow Combo Trophy
To get this Trophy you need lots of bad guys who don’t have knives or stun sticks, and that place is in Arkham Mansion. This is IN GAME, so get your Batclaw and all your combo hit upgrades (espically your 2X critical combo strikes) and go to Arkham Mansion. Now drop thru the ceiling and you will see lots of Jokers men searching for Dr Youngs Titan formula. Glide over the men and land near the duel staircase. This area gives you lots of room to work with. If they don’t see you at first, just toss a quick bat at one of them and they will come running. Let them come to you, because you want to spread them out a little so the Bat can have some leg room. Just block and single hit the first couple of guys and get your critical strikes going. Now just point your control stick at the next guy you want to hit and press “square” and Bat’s will jump to that guy. Remember to wait until Batmam hit’s a badguy and then press “square” just one time after each hit, this will ensure your critical strikes will continue. If you run out of guys in front of you, just pull the control stick towards you and press “square” and Bat’s will jump to guys you can’t even see on the screen. Just keep doing this and before you know it you’ll be getting 20 and 30 hit combos. If you don’t make it, no problem, just pause the game and select (RESTART FROM CHECKPOINT) and you will have endless do overs. Just be patient and practice, and soon you will get your 40 Hit Free Flow Combo Trophy. Happy Trophy Hunting.
Easy Way To Beat Your Last Visit To Intensive Treatment.
When you go back to Intensive Treatment for the last time your facing 7 armed inmates. This area can be hard for beginners, but there is an easier way, without fighting a single inmate. You create a diversion. After the cut scene where Joker blows up the inmate attaching a bomb to the Gargoyle, open the grate and glide over the inmate walking towards you. Now grapple up to the next Gargoyle on the walkway. Swing your view around to the next Gargoyle and as soon as you see (R1) illuminated on it press R1. Quickly go from Gargoyle to Gargoyle till you land on the last Gargoyle. Now glide over to the 2 large L shaped pipes that are on the same side of the room you came in on. Duck down and press X for corner cover, The Gargoyles exploding will make the guards run to them, wait there until all the guards have passed. Now quickly grapple up to the now empty control room and use your cryptographic sequencer and unlock the main doors. Now all you have to do is jump down to the lower level and walk out.
How To Beat Joker
To beat Joker you pull him down with you triple batclaw and hit him like 2-3 times, after you’ve defeated his henchmen, Do this like 3 times and you’ve beat joker.
How To Beat Bane
To beat bane use your qiuck batarang 2 times evade and do the same thing all over again.
Attacks You Can’t Counter
There are some attacks that can’t be countered the way you can tell which ones you can’t counter is that red lightning appears over their head instead of blue, and there are only two types of henchmen that do this and that is the ones with knives and ones with electro staffs but each one has to be defeated differently the one with knives can be defeated by using cape stuns then after you knock him on the ground you use the ground pound to beat him or you use the combo move”triangle+circle” this can only be done after you get a multiplier of 5x. You can do the combo “triangle+circle” to beat him but you can’t use melee attacks on him even if you use cape stun because of the staff but you can use the batclaw to pull him and he will fall on the ground and you can use ground and pound to beat him.
Solve Riddle
In arkham east there is a riddle, “Gothams greatest family towers over the city. “first of all is has nothing to do with the towers on the island, heres what you do climb to the top of arkham mansion, next go all the way to the left side to the ledge, next in the distance you will see a large W on the top of a building, this is wayne enterprises, zoom in on it and scan it and now you have solved the riddle.
The Last Chronicle Of Arkham
After you have scanned all the other chronicles there is one left and it does not show up on the Riddler maps remember earlier in the game when you rescue warden sharp in the penitentiary after you beat the story go back to where he was being held once you are there in the room he was in look down to the ground and you will see the circle of the message with batman written over and over again in the middle scan it and you will have the last chronicle of arkham.
Alternate Cutscenes
At the end of the game when you beat titan powered joker batman and gordon are talking then you here a police alert about two-face robbing a bank and batman takes off in the batjet well as you see him flying away the screen moves and looks at the water there you see a container of titan floating on top of the water when all of a sudden a hand reaches out and grabs it one of them is scarecrow then you play through again and its bane grabbing then you play through again and its killer croc grabbing it note: I’m not sure why its different people grabbing it and sometimes its the same person grabbing it.
How To Beat Poison Ivy
When you enter poison ivy’s lair she will grow into a giant plant but don’t let that scare you all you to do is 1. Turn on detective mode 2. When she launches spores at you you your quick tap batarang to hit the spores this will cause significant damage 3. After she stops launching the spores she then attack with this vine attack where the vine goes into the ground then comes back up and tries to grab you, after that she will go back to the spore attack and repeat 4. After getting her with the batarang she will fall to the ground and then put explosive gel on the capsule in the middle of the plant and you will win. Note:you will have to put the gel on twice.
COUNTER
In Batman Arkham Assylum PS3 you can do many things. If your stuck in a tight spot use counter attacks. If you notice in the game when an enemy is about to attack you blue lightning appears on top of they’re head. That is a sign that tells you to counter. One thing you can do is wait for an opponent to run up on you. As he’s running walk up to them and press triangle. This will make Batman do a counter attack that will automatically kill him.
Helpful Hint
After you find all the walls of the spirit except for the last one go in where the mistaken identity is at in the penitentiary go to the room in there there are stairs to a room in there there is batman written on the floor on the floor scan it its the last one after you do that the real spirit is quincy sharp this can only be used when quincy sharp writes batman on the floor.
Solve Riddle
In the medical facility, after you have cleared the room of the toxic gas by destroying the three electric boxes that control the vents, go into the room that you dropped the hanging inmate into and look closely at the tall cabinet. You will see two newspaper clippings. Zoom in on the clipping that talks about FIREFLY. Activate environment analysis to solve the riddle “Is this firefly too hot off the press”.
Solve Riddle
Search the Penitentiary in Arkham West. In one of the rooms you will find what looks like a see-through wall. On the other side of the wall you will see Warden Sharp. If you look away, then look back again, it will be Commissioner Gordon. Activate environment analysis to solve the riddle “A case of mistaken identity”.
