New Year's in two days, so why not subject you all to my inability to stay on topic ? I keep changing what I'm working on every month. It's fun :)
I don't think I ever released those Aether skins on Flight Rising. They're just living in my hard drive. Eating all the paper

The problem really is the men in this era (and its fixation on white men in particular)
the women aren't having issues in my opinion when it comes to utilizing their star power and building their brand b/c alot of them have successfully utilized fashion as part of their image, timmy is the only one who has zero shame (๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ) but these ( (white)men just dont have the thing that really makes them stand out as like I gotta go to the movie theatre and watch them on the big screen.
I think we have a great crop of women who are currently dominating the industry or will very soon. Jenna ortega, zendaya, anya, flo, saoirse sydney , margot, tessa thompson , taylor russell etc and then add in the number of black women who are also so talented and just need the right movie to help them hit the mainstream and make it big.
I mean, you DO have a point Anon! It doesn't seem to be the women having any issues lol ๐Ÿคฃ
But like you mentioned, the women also have the fashion side of things to get their names and stars bigger and having people talk about them as well.
With that said, I don't think we're being fair to the men... I mean, Timmy has already proven that he can be a box office draw imo, and he's definitely Hollywood's Male "Darling" and he has Directors wanting to work with him. Michael B. Jordan is also one who I think people would go to the theaters to watch, especially if the film is a good one. His films make MONEY! "Black Panther", The "Creed" franchise. He also not only starred in, but also directed "Creed 3", and wasn't it one of the highest-grossing sports film in history? ๐Ÿค”
Tom as well (is Tom considered a "Millennial"? ๐Ÿค”).... I'm not sure if he's considered a "Millennial" or just a geriatric Gen Z'er tbh lol ๐Ÿ˜… (it seems nobody can agree lol), but if he does fall into the "Baby Millennial" category, then I'd say that Tom is also definitely a "Movie Star" and has many successful films under his belt.
Austin too is definitely going places. "Elvis" did really well in theaters. I'm not sure what his draw will be box-office-wise with a non-biopic film, but I can definitely see people already are interested in watching him onscreen... So, he's definitely one who's very promising to watch also.
Chris Evans had a very promising trajectory, especially with his super fame due to playing Captain America in the Marvel films, but it seems like his films outside of Marvel don't necessarily have people saying: "OMG I have to see the new Chris Evans movie!" But he's done some successful films outside of Marvel ("Knives Out"), so I won't discount him just yet lol. ๐Ÿ˜…
Robert Pattinson is a good actor, and people seem to like a lot of his films too. They may not always be blockbusters, but he's definitely a household name, thanks to the "Twilight" franchise, and "The Batman" as well.
Also, don't sleep on Daniel (Kaluuya), Barry or Paul (Mescal) either. They're definitely going places, and Daniel has already won a ton of awards, and has been in VERY good high-grossing and popular films himself ("Get Out", "Black Panther).
I think we're selling the men a little short Anon lol.... ๐Ÿ˜…
But yea, the times we're living in are NOT like the times of Leo and Brad and Tom Cruise in their primes. Our generation has a lot more stuff to contend with, and the look of fame is totally different I feel than it was back in the Hollywood "Golden Years" lol . Maybe that's just me? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ
