It was here in my mystery Vault so I'm going to bring it to the show on Sat @athenbgallery too! Well actually I'm only bringing 5 of them but they are signed copies by the illustrator of which whom I am. Over 150 illustrations of northwest forgeable sea life methodically rendered for over a year. The book'll tell you how to catch em and what's good or not and whatever. Written by a talented, knowledgeable and funny fella, mr Kirk Lombard @seaforager . Perfect for the end of the world and a must have for any worthy bug out bag. "The sea foragers guide to the northwest coast" will only be available at the show but the #4wordsproject Book I made will still also available to all of the people of the world until they are sold out. Just a mere 30$! Many of you have been asking "Lay, how do I gets this book if I'm not go at where you is?" Oh hey! look what came in the mail! Somehow I made a book out of all the #4wordsproject drawings and writings Just in time for my big ol art show this Saturday @athenbgallery (7-11pm!) honestly I didn't really believe i made these until I saw some big ol boxes filled with 100 of these shiny lil critters. I don't even have time to eat food because of All of the Things. Even so, these fresh beauties got borned anyway. Thank the sweet sleeping Jesus for good people with cooking skills and Tupperware or else I'd be just a shaggy husk of a man for this exhibition I'm supposed to be the guy of. Also corn dogs and convection ovens helped. On the daily I'm just watching my body rush around moving objects through space and putting things together in new ways. Then, like and idiot, I'll start some new giant project I wasn't planning on for the show and get all sweaty like "why Lay?" Then all the other Things that still need attention are all "dude we got unfinished biznass sucka" But I know the ol body machine is gonna do what it wants despite what I think about it. if you check out the gallery page for my show on athen B's website (in the blog section under "all of the things") it's just the tip of what I'm attempting to squeeze in there. This here post marks the hiatus of the #4wordsproject ...for a Lil while. This month I'll be in full work mode on my #sologroup show, "All of the Things" comin up @athenbgallery on July 15th. I was encouraged to have a book of my work for the show and I thought why not publish all these here 4 words pieces. What do you think? I made 25 drawings all together with all you people. Would you want to get a book of all of em if I made one? I guess I'm gonna do it because I already drew the cover which is what cher looking at now. I recon I'll start it up again after this busy season slows down because I already took people's hard earned money and their 4 words for a place in the "future line". I've been practicing "passenger consciousness" for a while now and so now whenever I see my body doing something I've been thinking about them I know it's probably gonna happen. Takes a lot of the tedium out of trying to make decisions to do things when you're just watching from the back seat. Now shit happens or it doesn't despite me wanting to do it or not. It's immensely liberating. through careful observation of my changing scenery it seems that I'm still taking orders for 4words pieces for the mysterious future. If you want a place in line pm me and we can work it out. or wait until that nebulous future we keep hearing about shows up. In any case thanks for everyone who participated and helped me continue to enjoy the life I've become accustomed to.
