Could I request Jinwoo's lover telling him how much he means to her in public? If she had to choose between saving her partner or the world she'd choose the latter. Why? Because he is her world—no, her whole universe, and she would never trade him for anything else.
Mhm, Jingwoo deserves the world though, he's so precious.

A/N: In season 2 Jingwoo might as well be my whole world. Season 2 is so damn good!
Tumblr media
Jinwoo still blushes easily when you're out together
Really not hard to fluster him but you figured out the best way to do it is to tell him how much you value him
It wasn't your plan to do it in public but when he showed up with flowers for you because he was late for your date, well... you simply couldn't help yourself
You had to shower him in affection
For you it was never a question if you would, this was just extra reason to
Since before he became stronger you were protective of him
That is still the case, even though he doesn't need it you still glare at people who dare to make fun of your boyfriend for almost missing your date
Blushes when he hears how lovingly you talk about him
Honestly you would praise him for the smallest things
Deciding to fluster him even more you cup his cheeks and pull him into a kiss, hearing him gasp into it
Never before has he been so flustered, or kissed in public really
He should never feel bad for being late
After all he was here wasn't he, nothing to feel bad about
When you find out that the reason he was late was because he was trying to stop an accident your heart melts even more
An act of kindness is something he should never be sorry for
If you had to choose him or the world of course you would choose him
Not because you don't think everyone else isn't worth saving
Rather because Jingwoo is your whole world, and you would do anything for him, no matter the cost
He isn't quite sure how to feel about that, but nevertheless he can't deny that he's happy about mattering that much to someone

Hello! If its cool can I request some Solo-leveling headcanons for how Sung Jinwoo and Liu Zhigang react to overhearing childhood bestfriend casually confessing their long-standing crush on them to another person.
When asked why they won't tell them, reader replies with this laughs sadly and then tells them following reasons:
A) Genuinely doesn't think the boys see them that way at all B) Reader thinks they deserve better than them C) Doesn't want to ruin their friendship
Reader even jokingly admitting to their plans of taking this secret to the grave. Thus being completely unaware that said crush heard everything.
(I hope this isn't too much, but thank you if you decide to do it :))
Here you are! Sorry this came out so late! I couldn’t get my brain to function long enough to write.
Sung Jinwoo:
You and Jinah have been friends since your childhood. You told each other everything.
When you told her about your crush on her brother, Jinwoo, she asked why you hadn’t said anything to him and you just looked at the floor and chuckled softly.
“I don’t think that he likes me like that. I want to tell him. I just don’t want to ruin the friendship that we have.” You mumbled sitting on the floor and pulling your legs to your chest
Jinah placed her hands on her hips and glared playfully at you.
“Jinwoo is head over heels for you. He loves you to the point he continually talks about you to me when you are not here.” Jinah said.
You chuckled and waved off her comment before telling her you would take this secret to the grave.
Jinwoo had come upstairs to see if they wanted to order food and leaned against the wall listening to the two talk. A smile appeared on his face when he heard you like him back.
A few days had passed before you got the courage to walk over to him and tell him about your crush on him. You didn’t expect him to pull you into a hug and press a kiss to your forehead.
“I was hoping you would tell me.” He whispered.
You were completely mortified after learning that he had heard your conversation with his sister.
He motioned his sister to leave so he could talk to you. She smiled and left the room.
You sat on the bed trying to figure out what to say when you felt Jinwoo’s hand on your chin moving your head to face him. “Look at me Y/n” He whispered.
You turned to look at him and when to explain but you froze when you felt his lips on yours.
After a few seconds of shock you leaned forward and kissed him back. You felt a smile appear on your lips. Jinwoo wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to his chest.
Pulling away from the kiss, he laid his head on your shoulder and closed his eyes. Your arms wrapped around him and held him close as you slowly leaned back against the wall. You lifted your arm that wasn’t pinned and ran your fingers through his hair, content and happy.
Liu Zhigang
You and Liu have been best friends since you can remember. You told each other everything and did everything together.
He was extremely protective of you but loved to tease and joke around with you.
His favorite thing to do was flirt with you. He loved when you got flustered and had a red blush that sat on your face as you would try to bat him away and laugh at his flirting.
One day, he wanted to come and hang out with you before he had to leave for a month-long mission.
Your mother answered the door and smiled seeing him. “Liu! What a surprise! I think she is up in her office working on a project with a coworker but you are more than welcome to go up there.” Your mother said before entering the kitchen to finish lunch.
As he walked up the stairs and got close to your office, he could hear you talking to someone on the phone and leaned against the wall waiting for you to finish the call.
“I don’t know Amber. I have been best friends with him for my whole life and I don’t want to ruin anything. Not only that, I’m not exactly the best for him. He deserves so much better than me.” You said, chuckling sadly.
Liu glared at the ground thinking about what you said. He didn’t want anyone else. He wanted you.
When he knew that your call was done he knocked on the door and waited for you to answer.
When you opened the door, he enveloped you in a hug and held you close to his chest. “I heard everything Y/n, I don’t want anyone else. I only want you. Why do you think I flirt mainly with you and no one else?” He asked, looking at your shocked face.
“I didn’t think you would like me that way. I just kept my feelings bottled up….”
He leaned forward and pressed his lips to your effectively quieting you down.
You leaned into him and pressed closer to him before he leaned back and smiled at you.

"Wakey wakey." That teasing low purr in the crook of your neck had you giggling tiredly as the ticklish sensation pulled you out of slumber. Spooning you from behind, his legs entangled with yours, Jinwoo breathes in your scent, sucking tenderly. Taking his enormous hand that rested on your hip into yours, just to play with his fingers, made him smile.
“Don't go.” You murmur, raising that hand to brush petal soft pecks to his knuckles.
"Come on, now. I gotta get ready." His slurred gruffness were telltale signs he was in no hurry.
"The world is your kingdom now, Jinwoo. It'll still be there tomorrow." Your reassurance meant you curled further into your side of the bed, the tendrils of slumber creeping back in. His deep chuckle trailed butterfly pecks from your cheek, down the pane of your neck, then up to your ear. "Stay here with me, please."
"Even the Shadow Monarch needs to lead his guild." His words were one thing. His wandering hands were another story. "But, if you rather keep me in bed all day, I suppose you could persuade me." His very presence chased away the bitter freezing loneliness you were accustomed to, submerging you in his comfortable burning embrace.
"God, you're something else." You turned in his grasp, finally able to face him and shower him with your smooches, such smitteness brought warmth blooming within him. Not to mention his bulge rubbing against your crotch sent sparks shooting through you both.
Flashes of memories surfaced in your mind. Such a whiplash it is that the most powerful hunter in this world that you personally witness slaughtering every beast and human that dares stand in his way, soaked in their blood, could be the very same man that held such requited smoldering endearment for you.
The butterflies and flips occurring inside from every gaze, touch and word given are always worth it.
"God has been long gone from this world ... just Rulers and Monarchs now ... and yours is beside himself. To think his favorite beast on the streets ... is a lamb in the sheets~" That rumbling deep voice roughly heaved in between kisses. Opening your mouth so willingly had him grinning against you as his velvety tongue entangled yours, lost in the thralls of the passionate dance within. “My favorite~”
His sculpted hands slithered underneath your top, lightly brushing up against your sides, then your tummy. One hand stayed to fondle your cushiony mounds; he never gets tired of feeling you up.
"A human from another world ... reborn as a humanoid magic beast." Pinching, pulling and rubbing your pearls between his long sly fingers had you melting as your muffled mewling grew frequent. “Failed by those closest to you, abandoned to that pain and fear … a kindred soul.”
His other sly hand slips under your undies, cupping your dripping sex. Your moaning had him smirking as he nibbled your bottom lip in tune with his thumb insistently rubbing your clit and the tips of his fingers brushing around your cunt. "Isn't this what you wanted? To be touched by me? Your beloved King?"
"Mmm yes~" His voice always got you going, especially when those four fingers filled you up well, curling and scissoring in their trek straight to your burning core. "Aaah~" Your hips rutting into his hand got him bricked up through his sweatpants. "Nngh~" Wringing your hands through those dark messy locks and stroking along his shaved undercut got him trembling, all to reel him in and keep you as grounded as you could currently be in your haze filled state. "Don't stop~"
"So touch starved." Your sharp gasp was the sign he reached your bundle of nerves, prodding it with such vigor, stuffing you right up to his wrist, lathered up in your cream. “To let me be the first and only one to shower you with such devotion ... I'll forever be grateful for that blessing." Tears of ecstasy leave your e/c eyes and he kisses them away, his ebony bangs tickling your moaning burning face, the flames of passion stoked for you as you come undone. "My Queen~"
His creamy hand then pulled right out of your valley, leaving you desperately wanting him to fill up your emptiness. Your faith got restored, however, as he pulled his shirt over his head, tossing it aside, revealing the chiseled marble sculpture that is his physique.
He knows the sight alone makes your mouth water. Your hands traversed the panes of his soft firm pecs, that thick neck, those broad shoulders, even these sculpted biceps that flexed as his daily tasked push ups came with the added benefit of pushing down to your laying form, being enthralled by your rewarding kisses. Such reliable stability beneath that lean stature of resilience.
Your own eyes burned with the glow of enchantment, the image of who he used to be versus who he has become reminded you of yourself. How the physical and mental scars that plagued your old life for years on end shaped you into who you have become. A magic beast serving the Shadow Monarch. What a pairing.
His cream coated hand slips under his own waistband, pulling his beast free from its confines, using your cum as his lube to be more prepared.
His other hand cupped under your knee, draping your leg over his shoulder. "Wouldn't you rather I give you tongue~?" That low toned growl already got your other leg willingly draped over his other broad shoulder already as that mouth sunk into your wet folds.
“Yes love~!” Ripping such a concupiscent symphony outta your mouth. His other hand couldn't help but jack off to your venereal cries. The scorching presence his mouth gave as the starvation had him ravaging, suckling as much as making out with your now squirting folds.
His cheeks filled with your essence, dexterously aiming his tongue to drive you further up the tower of sins. Your spasming hips only buried his face deeper in, inhaling your scent as his nose got pushed in your pubes, his light yet sturdy weight. Those lidded silver eyes flashed violet as their predatory gaze marveled in your sweaty flushed expressions due to his ravenous gorging, your voice shrieking as you unloaded, his creamy covered lips curling swallowing gratefully.
“You're truly decadent.”
Your body and soul trembled in anticipation for what's to come; your legs falling off his shoulders to hug his firm hips. So did him, leading his dick slowly into your loosened yet smothering grip. "Let me make love to you." He grunted, you sucking him up as greedily as his cock started into the slow steady rhythm stroking your creamy grip.
“Fuck me! Please~! Don't stop~! Don't ever stop!” Your unhinged shouts of passion hit his ear as you hugged his neck, his own hot breath hitting your shoulder as he picked up the lace into the feverish fueled tapping; skin squelching and smacking noises bouncing off the walls.
“Fuck~! You’re heaven incarnate~!” Your sob filled yell riled up his necessity to bust his nuts in you even more. His feral groans in response had you squeezing him in a vice state, marking the side of his neck into a bruising suck, drawing scratches along his chiseled shoulder blades.
His own fingers dug into your rolling hips, finger shaped bruises painting your skin in kind, while his sharp teeth marked along your shoulder and neck, marking you as his and his alone, raising you further to the apex.
“I’ll fuck you until the world ends. This needy pussy deserves to be ravaged every waking moment. Every inch of you is mine to worship. Your beautiful womb filled up with my seed. That's my dream. To have you as my wife. To raise a family together. To make you Mrs. Sung!”
“Yes, Jin~! Yes~!” Your choked up agreement got lost in the sloppy, tongue filled kisses as you came a third in a row, making a cum circle around his shaft, painting his rippling thighs and the once pure sheets.
Your orgasmic greeting met with his, shooting right into your womb quite thickly, lifting you in his shredded grasp, externally and internally. Thrusting his still oozing libido into your heavenly valley like a madman to chase that euphoric high.
Your head limply rested on his shoulder like a pillow, fatigued mewls spilling out as the burning weight of his essence settled into your abdomen. Carefully setting you down on the bed, Jinwoo collapsed on his side, heaving slowly and deeply, his dazed eyes gazing at yours, glowing radiantly as the sunlight slipping in outlined your form.
Still submerged in you, now limp dicked, his muscular arm draped over you, pulling you both closer, all to have you curling into his slickened torso, breathing in your intermingled scent.
“Now call in sick.” Your weak request got him chuckling deeply.
“I will in a bit.” Curling your cascading hair through his fingertips, he caressed your pretty head, allowing the tranquil silence to linger.
“I love you, Y/n. So damn much. Thank you for being in my life, in this moment, and for the rest of our reign to come.” His whole being enveloped you in his bear hug of an embrace, drawing in your shared taste through an endearing kiss.
“I love you too, Jin. So damn much.” Your voice fluttered from the swelling of emotion taking hold on your heart, as you couldn't help but fall into the routine of peppering smooches all over that beautifully precious face of his.
“I'll love you. In this life and the next. Until the end of it all.” He vowed to you as you succumbed to sleep once again, smiling softly at your face, kissing your sweet lips once more before reaching out behind him for his phone, sending a quick text to Yoo Jinho about his impromptu work absence. His brother in arms was A-okay about, already suspecting fooling around with you being the reason why.
Jinwoo's next text was him dubbing Jinho as his best man at your upcoming wedding, already looking forward to seeing you on that sacred day, followed up by quite the steamy honeymoon.
He was already anticipating your future together, basking in the early morning, setting his phone aside as it filled with the following texts of congrats and excitement from his little bro, before joining you in the confines of dreams, cocooned in your shared comfy warmth, watched on by his shadow army in the corner, silently cheering for their master’s engagement with their future Queen Regnant.

Shadowborn [Jin Woo x !Shadow !Fem Reader]
When the Shadow Monarch adds you to his ranks, he has no idea what he's in for. Not only are you uncontrollable, but you also harbor a secret that even the System keeps hidden from him. As he searches for a way to bring you under control, it becomes clear that your existence exposes a flaw in the perfect structure of the shadows—one that no one could have foreseen. Why don’t you yield to his will, and more importantly, why doesn’t the System want you to remember?

[Prologue] “Arise.”
The Shadow Monarch’s voice reverberated through the room, deep and commanding, shattering the silence like fragile glass. Clear and resonant, his words echoed off the stone walls, lingering as though the air itself sought to hold onto them. The sound was low and powerful, vibrating faintly, giving the room a brief sense of life before the quiet crept back in.
A translucent window appeared in the air, the oppressive dark aura blanketing the ground retreating like mist. Once again, the extraction had failed. [Soul Extraction failed. 1/3 attempts remaining.]
Jin-Woo’s cold gaze flickered down to the lifeless figure lying on the ground. He exhaled deeply, raising his hand again.
“Is this truly where you wish to meet your end?” he asked, his eyes beginning to glow faintly. His voice was the only thing animating the desolate room. Vines crawled up the cracked stone walls, fractured beams of sunlight piercing through the shattered ceiling above. It looked like an abandoned boss chamber—ancient extinguished torches lined the walls, weapon gouges marred the hard stone—but there was no trace of life to be found. Not even the body before him radiated vitality.
So why couldn’t he extract her shadow?
Had it been too long since this monster’s death? Monsters decayed, yet her body showed no signs of rot. Only the deep lacerations across her skin, the missing heartbeat, and the faint, oppressive aura around her gave away the truth—she was dead.
“What a pitiful end,” he murmured. Jin-Woo didn’t expect a response, but something about her unnerved him enough to speak aloud, as though testing the air for answers.
“Arise,” he commanded once more, his hand tightening into a fist as though he could will her soul to obey.
The black smoke coiled around the lifeless body, intertwining with the tendrils rising from her chest. Slowly, the shadow took shape. Jin-Woo’s lips curled into a victorious smirk as the dark form solidified into the outline of a woman. Her glowing white eyes locked onto nothingness, the telltale mark of a newly risen shadow.
The system window popped up again, prompting for a name. Jin-Woo glanced at his latest recruit, who now knelt before him, one leg folded beneath her and the other bent upright. Her gaze remained forward, never meeting his.
“You belong to my Shadow Army now,” Jin-Woo declared, lowering his hand. “From this day on, you will serve me and obey my commands.”
He pondered briefly, then began typing a name into the prompt. Just as his finger hovered over the “Confirm” button, the window glitched, flickering erratically before closing. The chosen name replaced by another. [Y/N]
“No.”
The voice was so faint it barely registered. Jin-Woo paused, convinced he must have imagined it. Yet, before he could dismiss the notion, the shadows surrounding her physical body dissipated, retreating into the darkness along with the lifeless form on the ground.
“What?” His voice was sharp, his composure slipping for an instant as the word lingered in disbelief.
“No.” The second time was louder, firmer. The shadowy figure began to rise, her form shifting. The darkness coating her crumbled away, replaced by color. Her eyes, once glowing white, now gleamed a vibrant shade of [E/C], locked onto his in defiance. Her hair, [H/C], shimmered with an unnatural vitality, stark against the bleak surroundings.
Jin-Woo’s usually impassive expression flickered with subtle astonishment. A shadow capable of speech? Only Beru had ever displayed such an ability.
He cast his gaze toward the floating information above her:
Name: [Y/N] Level: ???
He couldn’t read her level. And she already had a name.
A tense silence filled the space, his dark aura intensifying until even Igris, his loyal Blood-Red Commander, shivered. Yet, [Y/N] stood unflinching, her jaw tight as she met Jin-Woo’s penetrating stare. Despite the icy dread running down her spine, an unyielding resolve kept her rooted. She refused to kneel.
“I refuse,” she ground out through clenched teeth, watching as the black-haired man’s glowing eyes narrowed into sharp slits. Her voice was thin but steady.
Before she could react, he had grabbed her chin and leaned down toward her; after all, he was a good head taller than she was. His grip was firm, not enough to hurt, but enough to convey his dominance. His hands were icy cold. Could shadows even feel such sensations? His face was mere inches from hers, and his piercing gaze sent a cold shiver crawling up her limbs.
[You are forbidden from harming your master.]
The window that briefly popped up caught her eye for a moment before her gaze returned to the Shadow Monarch’s icy stare.
“What was that?” he asked in a deep voice, as though his physical intimidation and the flicker in his glowing eyes could compel her to reconsider her defiance in light of what he was capable of.
“Say that again,” he growled, his tone icy and measured, daring her to reconsider. He was giving her one more chance to retract her initial refusal and do what—at least in his mind—was the only correct thing. [Y/N] stared at him for a moment. Her irritation over the situation gradually gave way to anger, which settled heavily in her chest. Who did he think he was? More importantly, who did he think she was? ... Who was she?
But there was no time to dwell on that thought, as the Shadow Monarch grew impatient. He made this clear with a brief but painful squeeze of his hand. But her defiance didn’t falter. “I. Refuse.” The words were deliberate, slow, and unwavering.
For the first time, Jin-Woo felt something beyond annoyance—curiosity laced with disbelief. Never had a shadow disobeyed him. His dominion was absolute. So why did she stand so boldly against him?
“You’re either very brave or very foolish,” he said, his voice low as his violet eyes flickered dangerously. “Do you even realize who I am?”
Her lips curled into a faint smirk. “When you’re dead, titles lose their meaning. Honestly, nothing really matters anymore.”
For a fraction of a second, Jin-Woo’s stoic mask slipped. Her words, blunt and logical, were disconcerting. Yet his pride demanded he reassert his authority.
“If you won’t obey me, I have no use for you,” he declared coldly. “I’ll kill you again a second time”
“Go ahead.” Her voice dropped to a whisper, her expression challenging. “I have nothing to lose.” Something in her tone—half daring, half resigned—made Jin-Woo hesitate. The tension between them crackled like static, thick enough to choke. Shadows coiled at his feet, thick as ink, creeping toward her like serpents. Yet, as they reached her, they paused, lingering for a moment as though recognizing her as one of their own before retreating.
Even Jin-Woo couldn’t deny what he had just witnessed. Releasing her chin, he let out a heavy sigh, his energy dissipating as the oppressive weight in the room lifted.
This was no ordinary shadow.
The shadows retreated as quickly as they had appeared, his eyes returning to their cool gray, and the immense energy he exuded vanished entirely.
He couldn’t simply let the chance of having a powerful shadow slip away, even if her lack of respect infuriated him to no end. The fact that he couldn’t determine her rank and that she didn’t yield to his will suggested she must be strong.
[Y/N] exhaled in relief; the whole ordeal hadn’t left her unscathed, but she was incredibly fortunate that the black-haired man hadn’t killed her on the spot. Despite her earlier words, she really didn’t want to die again.
His cold expression remained unchanged, but his gaze lingered on the [H/C]-haired woman, who stared back at him blankly.
Her appearance was human—different from his other shadows. She had color, glowing eyes, and if not for the name and lack of rank floating above her head, he wouldn’t have even guessed she was part of his army.
“Let me put it another way: as the one who revived you, you don’t have a choice but to follow my commands. So stop being so stubborn and just obey,” he said, his voice slicing through the silence as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Stubborn? Me? Does he even listen to himself? [Y/N] thought.
“Clearly, we’re both stubborn,” she stated , rubbing her chin, which still bore faint pressure marks from his firm grip.
She didn’t notice the faint flicker of concern in his eyes. Did he hurt her?
“If you’d stop being stubborn and accept that you can’t just go around resurrecting people and making them your slaves,” she retorted, earning another angry glare from the black-haired man. He at least seemed to accept that physical intimidation wasn’t going to work on her.
Jin-Woo turned slightly away from her and opened the window displaying the current number of his shadows.
“I revived you for a reason. You are now part of my army and will serve me. End of discussion.”
[Y/N] laughed humorlessly—a cynical laugh. He still didn’t get it.
She rolled her eyes, though there was that peculiar feeling in her chest—a strange connection that had been there since her resurrection. It felt more like a tether pulling at her core, drawing her toward him.
But she didn’t feel compelled to obey him—so why should she?
“Nope, as long as you act like an asshole, I’m not even going to consider it.”
The Shadow Monarch froze mid-movement, shooting her a deadly side-eye.
Did she just insult him?
His frustration grew with every passing second. No one had ever defied him like this, especially not someone he had revived.
“And why should I be nice to you? You’re the one defying me here. You’re the one refusing to obey me. What have you done to deserve my kindness when all you’ve shown me is disrespect?” he said.
[Y/N] responded without thinking, “You reap what you sow.”
Yes, he was an asshole, and she couldn’t stand him, but her reaction wasn’t exactly the best icebreaker either. Besides, they were both in a pretty crappy situation, and it wouldn’t get any better if they kept clashing.
Plus—what choice did she have? She had no idea who or what she was, where she was, or where she was supposed to go.
A resigned sigh escaped her lips, and her tense posture relaxed a little.
“Maybe... just maybe, we got off on the wrong foot,” she said, her voice softening slightly, almost innocent—though theatrically so.
The Shadow Monarch was once again surprised by her words. She had personality—and plenty of it, apparently.
He could insist that she was his shadow and that he was therefore superior to her, but what would be the point in the end? Perhaps it was time to swallow his pride and admit he might have been wrong.
Maybe he had simply spent too much time alone, consumed by his role as the Shadow Monarch, losing whatever social skills he once had.
His expression remained cool for a moment longer before his features softened slightly, and he scratched the back of his head. “That’s an understatement,” he muttered, reflecting on how he was almost the cause of her second death. [Y/N]’s eyes lit up slightly. Had she just detected a hint of humor in his voice?
His tone had lost some of its anger, which gave her a bit of relief.
“Okay. What am I even supposed to do, and where the hell are we anyway?” she asked, glancing around the room and taking it in. She knew she had seen this place before—clearly, it was where she had died—but it didn’t feel familiar. Jin-Woo, still a bit taken aback by her sudden cooperation, followed her gaze.
“We’re in a dungeon,” he said matter-of-factly. He really didn’t share more than he absolutely had to, did he? As for what she was supposed to do? Well, his shadows usually fought for him, but what about her? She had no weapon and didn’t seem magically inclined—at least he couldn’t sense any significant mana coming from her.
“Follow me. That’s enough for now,” he finally said, turning on his heel. His cloak lifted slightly with the abrupt movement before settling back down.
Jin-Woo didn’t look back, his footsteps silent on the cold stone floor. The young woman hesitated for a moment, but the invisible force seemed to nudge her forward, almost pushing her to follow him. She let out another frustrated sigh. “Okay,” she said, taking a few quick steps to catch up with him, though she stayed a few meters behind. “I’ll follow you,” she said after a brief pause. “But I won’t follow your orders blindly. If a command seems pointless to me, I’ll refuse,” she added—a compromise she could live with. Jin-Woo stopped abruptly, nearly causing her to bump into him. He paused, processing her words. For a moment, he hesitated. With a sigh, his expression softened slightly. “Fine. I’ll accept your compromise,” he said, reluctantly agreeing to her terms. “But if your reason for refusing seems pointless to me, don’t expect my mercy,” he added without glancing at her and continued walking. Though he was satisfied with this for now, there were limits—even for her.

Chapter 23 [Draft]
Sung Jinwoo/Trial Player!Reader
CW:
Inspired by @circeyoru ‘s “Future Power Couple”
[Masterlist🦋✨️]
Tumblr media
“What’s with this traffic jam? It’s really backed up.” Jinwoo asked, his voice breaking the lull as he drummed his fingers lightly on the steering wheel. As the car inched forward at an agonizingly slow pace, he muttered something about taking the subway, eyes scanning the congested road ahead, a faint crease of irritation forming on his brow.
You glanced up from your musings, your elbow propped on the car door, chin resting in your palm. Your eyes were fixed on the distance, far past the endless rows of brake lights ahead—almost indifferent, as if the raving engines and honking vehicles just outside were nothing more than background noise.
“Maybe a gate popped up in the middle of the road?”
Jinwoo turned his head to you, giving you an incredulous look. His sharp stare lingered until you caught it out of the corner of your eye, remaining unfazed. “What?”
Before Jinwoo could respond, his phone buzzed to life, the name on the screen flashed: Chairman Go Gun-hee.. He answered, listened intently to the voice on the other end, and replied as necessary. The situation was, in fact, just as you had guessed—a gate had indeed materialized, right in the middle of the highway too, hence the massive traffic disruption.
After the call ended, Jinwoo turned back to you with a similar expression as before. The hint of amused resignation was new though.
“What?” you repeated, your voice carrying that deliberately lackluster touch of feigning innocence.
This time, instead of being interrupted in a timely-good manner, his silence was broken by a soft chuckle as he leaned back in his seat, his posture relaxed, as did the uptilt of his lips, despite the urgency of the situation.
After a beat, that easy smile was directed towards you. “You gonna come with?”
You tilted your head slightly, mimicking his casual demeanor but with an air of mockery that was all your own. “Depends. Let’s see what the system has to say.”
“So, not a no?” Jinwoo’s tone took a turn as he leaned closer, leaving no other way for you but to meet his eyes, his grin just as daring.
Perhaps reflex played a role when you raised your hand and planted it against his face before he could get too close, gently pushing him back with just enough pressure to send a clear message: Don’t push your luck. Jinwoo showed little resistance, the twinkle of mirth in the backdrop of grey peeking between your fingers unmistakable.
You dismissed how you could distinctly feel his mouth move as he played along with your antics. How the soft brushes of lips felt on the border of your palm and wrist, teetering so close to where one could feel vital signs through the skin.
“Shut up,” you grinned back, and the following vibrations on your hand, mimicking the act of chuckling, told you more than enough.
It was good to know that he was now comfortable enough around you to be like this.
“I’ll do a quick detour for our emergency preparation,” you added, finally pulling your hand back and breaking eye contact. Your gaze shifted out the window as if searching for something unseen. “I have a feeling it’s going to rain.”
Jinwoo raised a brow, stealing a glance at the sky through the windshield. The sun shone unobstructed, the horizon was clear, with no sign of rain clouds in sight. Still, he’d learned by now that your ‘feelings’ were rarely wrong.
Cryptic words and double meanings, he just had to figure them out—figure you out.
The game both of you had been playing since the very start.
How thrilling.
Jinwoo hummed, opting for another question, though it was one he already had a pretty good guess on the answer. His smile never left. “How many backups have you planned, really?”
“A lot.” —a simplistic answer that was just so you, flashing him a sweet smile of your own.
With that, your form began to shimmer, your edges dissolving into myriads of lights, the chimes of your butterflies filling the air.
Through the mirror of his iris, the beautiful fragments swirled. Jinwoo closed his eyes briefly as the luminous insects flitted past his face, bringing forth passing warmth against the skin.
“You go on ahead,”
When he opened them again, only a single butterfly remained where you once sat, its iridescent wings fluttering softly. It went to perch on his instinctively half-outstretched hand, and Jinwoo brought it closer, feeling the faint, ticklish brush of its wings on his lips.
I’ll find my way to you.
The butterfly dissolved into nothingness, yet he knew it was keeping him company, always, despite its lack of visibility.
He was not alone, not anymore.
Jinwoo leaned back in his seat, raking a hand through his hair as the corner of his mouth curved into a grin, lingering all the way as he made his way to the gate’s location.
If he had truly looked at himself in the rearview mirror at this moment, would the faint color of his cheeks and the creeping warmth had only been the effect of the rosy-hued sky and the golden glow of the setting sun?
Jinwoo muttered under his breath, though there was no mistaking the fondness in his every little action then.
“What a difficult woman.”
---
Jinwoo stood amidst the wild greens of the foliage; the air as ominous as ever if not more. The oppressive heat and humidity were immediately followed by the torrential downpour. The thick jungle surrounding him, water cascading down the leaves and pooling into muddy streams, and the dense magical energy crackling in the air all pointed to one thing.
“You know…” Jinwoo said to no one, his tone as flat as it was dry, despite him literally soaked from head to toe. “However I see it, this feels like a red gate.”
“I told you so,” your voice rang out light, and Jinwoo looked up to see you hovering in the air, donning your usual raid ensemble, your form bathed in faint iridescent white glow. The rain parted around you and the butterflies flitted, refracting light in a way that made Jinwoo feel like he was witnessing a scene from one of those vibrant stained-glass windows.
Divine—that word again.
Soft chimes mixing harmoniously with the rhythm of harsh pitter-patter. Despite his enhanced physique, the falling rain still dug uncomfortably into his skin, under the layer of wet fabric. But even so, he couldn’t look away.
As for you, for a moment, you entertained the idea of looking after a wet cat.
With a subtle motion of your hand, Jinwoo suddenly found himself enveloped in the same translucent glow and phantom warmth. The raindrops now bounced and slid off him harmlessly, though the protective barrier couldn’t undo the soaked clothes below.
“You’re a little late, don’t you think?” Jinwoo quipped, though there was no bite to his words.
Yeah—a sopping wet, fussy black cat.
“You seem fine enough,” you quipped back, starting to make your descent. “I’ll help you dry off once we’re out—shit!”
The next second, the world seemed to blur as the storm surged louder in your eardrums—a brief flicker caught Jinwoo’s attention before his instincts kicked in.
Time seemed to slow after—closer than either of you expected, stealing the air from your lungs, senses overwhelmed by proximity’s warmth. Dimly, you felt familiar, sturdy arms supporting you, and the scent of damp earth mixed with something distinctly him.
Déjà vu—and the disconcert of living through a cliché.
Chaotic fluttering, the butterflies’ notes twisted into a cacophony of delight, increasing in volume alongside heavy rain and thunder. Yet, all seem to blend into the background of mingling breaths, inches apart.
None spoke, eyes locked with another in a moment that felt stretched too long and too short all at once. Light danced in between, shadows fleeting across each other’s features.
Somewhere, amidst the cold shower and warm softness in his hold, Jinwoo felt a strange awareness settle within each heartbeat.
And then, the moment broke. The chimes quieted, and everything faded into the storm’s veil once more.

[A hunter is born to hunt.]
“So,” Jinwoo started, attention flicking between you and the battle up ahead. “you can teleport from outside now?” Intrigue flashed in his eyes, though his tone retained its usual calmness.
“…”
“(Name)?”
“…Yeah,” you finally replied. Distracted was an understatement of the nearly two decades you’d been thrown into this world. “The recent ascension automatically leveled up some skills. My teleportation works the same as before, but now it’s more… precise.”
“Precise?” Jinwoo’s brow arched in question.
“Mm-hmm. Visualizing the destination is no longer enough; I need to know the place like the back of my hand.” Your eyes followed a purple butterfly fluttering past his shoulders. “Being manually taxing is a recurring drawback to my powers, so I’m not too surprised. The good thing that came out of this is that there are less restrictions. Dungeons are basically another world altogether, but now I can go in and out even after the gates closed, granted I still have memory of the place and that nothing unusual happened. Still researching on that.”
“Bless my children, since I still need an ‘anchor’ for the first travel.” The butterfly joined the fray. “Under normal circumstances, they can travel on their own. But for traversing between realms? In case they’re not strong enough to withstand the force, they need to attach to someone who can cross to the other side. Once inside, that child can send me the specific ‘data’ via telepathy—the area’s distinct wavelength, for example.”
You made a light sweeping motion with your hand. “And voilà.”
A hunter’s foe isn’t limited to monsters.
Jinwoo hummed thoughtfully, his gaze sweeping across the battlefield. He watched his soldiers press forward; their footwork precise even on the rain-slick, muddy ground. The flitting butterflies wove among them as usual, shimmering beacons boosting any soldier in close range and playing with their food the enemies. What was unusual was the flashes of forms far too humanlike to be his shadows.
Jinwoo narrowed his eyes, studying the contrasting figures. Their movements were seamless, as if rehearsed, covering each other’s blind spots. As chaotic as these fights could get, there was an unmistakable rhythm to them. A Danse Macabre brought to life.
“They can fight too?” Jinwoo asked, his voice tinged with slight awe.
Following his line of sight, you smiled faintly. “Yes. At first, it was the adults’ initiative. I’m fine with them as they are, but my darlings wanted to make the most of it now that they can maintain corporeal forms without the hassle of constantly using hallucinations.” You nodded toward the entities in question. “Their skills heavily depend on what I’m capable of myself, since they weren’t initially designed for direct combat, but…” You tilted your head toward the nearest skirmish. “What can I say? Adaptation is one of our mottos.”
[A hunter must take care not to become the hunted.]
Jinwoo followed your gesture and saw Igris, his long sword cleaving through enemies with practiced ease. Covering his back stood a familiar elegant figure, crimson strands in a braid and wielding dual rapiers. She was as pristinely suited as the first time she introduced herself. The tailcoat, patterned like her wings, followed her movements fluidly, making her seem like she was dancing.
Hup!
Light on her feet, she launched herself in the air and struck. The thrust precise and deep despite how delicately thin the blade looked, evident by the fountains of blood erupting from her staggering victims before Igris followed up with swift decapitations. With how calm she looked at times, her eyes were another level of intense, like an undying flame.
She landed with a bow and—did the raining blood just turn into showering petals?!
“You’ve already met Red,” you said casually, though Jinwoo detected a hint of pride. “My right hand.”
Gaze lingering on the pair, Jinwoo was unsure what was more baffling: the eerie theatrics or how seamlessly Red fought alongside Igris without a single word exchanged.
His attention shifted to another figure, starkly different in demeanor and a paler complexion.
On top of her head were triangular-shaped ears blending into straight snowy-white locks. The color contrasted sharply against the battlefield’s murky tones, as did her pale blue eyes. Seemingly a staple to your children who gained a more tangible form, the black and white attire she wore was adorned with fluffs from neck to boots.
The situation can always reverse,
“That’s Blanche.” You chuckled softly seeing the girl reflexively nuzzle into her thick scarf, only for droopy eyes to narrow, clearly displeased with the wetness clinging to her usual comfort. Even her long fluffy tail wasn’t spared, slumping dejectedly in response.
Peeking out from the tufts of her of sleeves were clawed hands of clear ice, at least twice a normal sized hand. That same hand tore straight through an adversary’s chest. As the beast dangled from her grip, she flicked them off with ease to swipe at another incoming attackers.
What was interesting to Jinwoo was how the minion sent flying looked stiff. Only when Tank caught them with his mouth did Jinwoo have his answer. The chilling crunch when the shadow munched on them, how pieces of the body cracked like glass and fell off with no sign of the usual dripping warm liquid, suggested that they were frozen solid. It was a frigid carnage.
“She’s dozing off.” Jinwoo noted dryly as Blanche retracted her claws and leaned onto the massive ice bear, sinking into his wispy black fur.
“Leave my baby alone. It’s nearing her hibernation hour anyway.” You cooed in the pair’s direction, seeing that Tank decided to not disturb Blanche’s nap and just sat there, munching away at the frozen enemies she left behind.
“And when exactly is that?”
“Almost all the time.”
Jinwoo didn’t know if he wanted to laugh or sigh at you.
“You’re spoiling her.”
“Blanche always got her job done before going to sleep, so I see no problem. You trailed off.
[And it’s the mark of the first-rate hunter to avoid becoming complacent.]
Jinwoo chose not to comment further. He followed your wandering eyes toward a blonde figure next. Hair tied in ponytail, she wielded a massive shield with an ease that belied its size, using it to batter enemies in a manner that seemed more recreational than necessary.
“There are two of them now.” Jinwoo deadpanned.
True to his words, it was quite a sight.
Iron was, unsurprisingly, doing what Iron did best: slamming down the blunt end of his battle axe on what appeared to be an enemy, a pretty much dead one. The blonde woman, with eyes resembling the sun, mimicked his actions with her shield and an almost childlike glee. The two were taking turns in smashing the unfortunate foe until it was simply unrecognizable.
“That’s Sol,” you said, sweatdropping. “She’s, well, energetic.”
Jinwoo sighed, and honestly, you couldn’t blame him.
“I can see that.”
“…Sol’s a good child.” You continued with a wry smile. “Just a curious spirit most of the time.”
“Right. And she follows Iron around because…?”
“She finds him amusing.”
“That sounds even worse somehow.”
You could only offer a helpless shrug.
The next child Jinwoo noticed was perched comfortably on Tusk’s shoulder, nonchalantly swinging her legs and humming a tune. Turquoise eyes glowed against dark bronze canvas, various runes of the same bluish-green circling her, and a tome floated by her side. Her hair was a striking red, blue, and the occasional hints of white and purple, shifting hues with every movement like a living aurora. Her ears were long and the tips pointed, Jinwoo noted.
Whether you hunt tens, or even hundreds, of monsters,
“That’s Neonie.” you introduced. “Abilitiy-wise, think of her as a living magical artifact.”
Each motion of the her fingers brought forth circles of magic, materializing across the battlefield. Glittering mist flowed out, a blanket of cloud around the High Orc Shaman and magic unit below, amplifying spells’ firepower, restoring mana, and decreasing casting cooldowns in a near constant cycle. Some smaller magic circles stationed strategically around the fog-affected areas automatically shot projectiles to melee foes closing in on the mages.
Jinwoo was squinting at this point. Mist aside, the output of spells back-to-back were blinding enough.
“Can we adjust the brightness?”
“Sure! When you managed to control your first instinct to not glare at my sorceress every time you see her, we’ll talk.”
“Huh?”
“Oh please, I saw how your face scrunched up seconds ago. I already made Baruka’s remains a stat boost for your dagger, give the guy a break.”
You rolled your eyes, though the twitch on your lips betrayed you when he made a face again.
A strong gust of wind swept past, ruffling your hairs and prompting you and Jinwoo to glance upward. Kaisel soared overhead, his massive wings stretching over the rain-drenched jungle below, cutting through the winds. Trailing close behind was what seemed like a flurry of butterflies in a weird formation, a blur of royal blue.
You whistled and the cluster halted in its flight, only then did Jinwoo could get a proper look at the silhouette. The most attention-grabbing feature was the pair of wings, flapping in brief intermissions to keep the bearer afloat. They weren’t the delicate blue and black structures patterned on her uniform; instead, there were layers of translucent feathers, matching the end of her trench coat. She had rich blue eyes; dark brown strands framed her face in a bun.
[You must hunt ceaselessly.]
“Jinwoo, meet Gale.” The aforementioned bowed to Jinwoo. “The best flyer of my butterflies.”
“And also,” Jinwoo barely had time to process this before his sharp ears caught a distinct metallic clack from above. His gaze snapped back to Gale—was that a minigun?!
“Our aerial support—”
“Everyone duck!”
The assault began, the shots ripped through the ranks of enemies below. Jinwoo’s caught another detail then: like the briefest projection, the feathers spread wide dispersed light in a way that momentarily resembled the intricate patterns of a butterfly. They flared, and from the 'eyes', beams of light shot downward, incinerating adversaries that got caught in its line, leaving charred remnants in her wake.
As the dust began to settle, Jinwoo quickly noted that his soldiers and your children remained unharmed, courtesy of Tusk’s and Neonie’s protective barrier that had shielded the allied forces nearest to the blasts. Iron and Sol too, raised their shield to protect the others nearest to them.
“…and sniper—”
BOOM!
Yeah, no.
The resulting shockwave left Jinwoo’s hair slightly disheveled, and he noted with some amusement that yours wasn’t spared either.
That was a fucking missile.
Again, none of his shadows nor your butterflies had been harmed. Gale’s actions might seem reckless, but, as far-fetched as it sounded, the attacks were isolated in a way, suggesting some level of careful handling and not just reckless abandon.
“I…” You looked dumbfounded if anything, mouth parting a little bit, and Jinwoo found it cute. At least that reaction was enough of a confirmation for him: you didn’t, in fact, planned that, not to this degree at the very least. Jinwoo reckoned Gale took some liberties, and it was just good bad timing on your part. “…I’ll speak to Gale on toning it down.”
“Good call.” Jinwoo chuckled.
You cleared your throat, a strange look of avoidance passed through your expression. “Well, that’s all of them that are present anyway”.
Even when you said that, Jinwoo’s gaze drifted past you, landing on the peculiar silver-haired figure standing still under the rain. She seemed wholly engrossed in her own world, her face tilted upward to let the water trail over her features. Her expression painstakingly crafted to exude pensiveness, it was as if she were playing out a dramatic scene in some high-budget movie—you know, where a character’s thoughts were spoken aloud by outside voice? Minus the pile of corpses beneath her heels of course.
“What is she doing?” Jinwoo finally asked, his tone edged with skepticism, finding it very hard not to be openly judgmental this time. Your lips twitched, unsure whether to laugh away the embarrassment like a maniac or dig yourself a hole and simply die with it.
[As that unknown presence does too.]
The King has no plan to stop his hunt—"Ouch!”
The woman in question abruptly yelped in pain and doubled over. Her hands flying to the top of her head where an angry red bump had formed. Her face scrunched up into a teary expression as yellowish-orange orbs turned to the crimson-haired figure now looming over her.
“What in Mother’s name was that for, Sist-AH! Ow…” Trick’s indignant protest was cut short as another sharp smack landed squarely on her head, resulting comically in a bump on the previous bump. Red stared down at her younger sibling, arms crossed, twin rapiers momentarily sheathed by her hips.
“Stop monologuing.” Despite how flatly the delivery was, each word was emphasized with a progressively terrifying glare that could have frozen a lesser soul.
Poor Trick got the heebie-jeebies. The adult silver butterfly pouted and whined, still clutching her head as she pointed to the air where intricate golden-white screen glitched to life. “They started it!”
[ :D ]
The red butterfly could care less.
“Get. To. Work,” With one last warning look, Red turned her back without waiting for a response. She strode back toward Igris, who had paused mid-swing to glance in her direction. The shadow knight tilted his head slightly, a silent inquiry.
Red’s expression softened in an instant, throwing her rapier to stab the battered magical beast, formerly twitching hand about to grab the shadow knight’s leg while he was distracted, now laid as limp as it was dead. “I’m alright, Sir Igris. Thank you. Let’s continue,” Her tone gentle and respectful. Igris gave a small, almost imperceptible nod before they resumed their rhythm.
Meanwhile, you pressed your fingers to your temple, trying to stave off the impending migraine while watching Trick sulking nearby at the slightest possible prospect of the older butterfly ignoring her. She shot a glare toward the hovering interface.
“(ಥ﹏ಥ) …Traitor.”
[ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ]
“Just ignore her.” You sighed, already too tired to deal with this today.
As if to prove your point, Beru chose that exact moment to land near with a thud that sent a wave of muddy water splashing in all directions, including Trick’s, who let out a hiss like a bristling feline. The former ant king let out some clicking noises.
“What are you doing?”
“Nun-ya.”
“What?”
“Nun-ya business.”
“Yeah,” Jinwoo followed your lead and turned away at the sparks practically flying between the two summons. “Let’s. Ignore them.”
Unfortunately for the several totem-masked monsters who thought they could take advantage of the apparent distraction, lunging toward the insect pair, they unknowingly only hastened their doom. With a snap of Trick’s fingers, the attackers froze mid-charge, consumed by sheer terror as they clutched at invisible wounds. It was borderline terrifying how convinced they were that they had already been slashed to pieces, only for Beru to tear through them for real a fraction of a second later.
“Kekeke. First to 30 wins?” Beru’s multifaceted eyes had a competitive glint in them aside from the bloodlust.
Trick shot back with an eerily wide grin, showcasing inhumanely sharp canines hidden below her usual mischievous smile.
“Now we’re talking!”
Gunshot pierced through a few masked foes in groups. The twin guns disappeared from slender hands just as fast as they appeared at the start of a different moveset from the humming butterfly.
An up wave of her hands was followed by several foes cut vertically from the bottom—
“One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four.”
Up, down, cross, side, up…!
—and the rest was as follows.
Only after the motions slowed down did the rain and blood shine light to the glinting threads wrapped around Trick’s fingers into various directions, including the beasts that got shot at the start, limp bodies serving as effective anchors.
Trick turned around, hands now on her hips and sticking out her tongue, only to yelp when she saw a body thrown in her direction. Reflexively cutting it in half with her threads revealed the sight of Beru’s smug look not far off, already done with his fair share of enemies.
“Watch it, you—”
 “kEKEKEKEKE!”
“That girl sure knows how to hold a grudge.”
“The pot calling the kettle black. Beru also indulged her too much.”
You and Jinwoo locked eyes in a silent battle of wills for a few seconds before bursting into laughter.
As the laughter died down and the two forces tore into the enemy ranks, that strange feeling from the very first start of this battle settled in you again—the sense of being out of place. Should you feel weirded out that you could only bring yourself to comment on it now?
“Jinwoo.”
“Hmm?”
“Put me down,” you said bluntly, your tone carefully devoid of emotion as you tried to school your expression despite the steady warmth creeping up your neck. And your back. And the back of your thighs—whatever parts of your body that were touching Jinwoo’s right now!
“…”
“…Please?”
“No.”
This man! He purposely waited for you to do that only to reject you, didn’t he?
Jinwoo looked at you with a maddeningly fake smile of innocence, his tone leaving no room for debate. His arms around you didn’t loosen; if anything, they tightened when you started wriggling around, successfully securing you in place.
Sure, it was not the first time he had done this. At the end of your second trip to the demon castle, Jinwoo only let your feet touch the ground after the two of you arrived at the hospital, where you could just sit and rest safely as he tended to his mother. You admit that you were exhausted, very well out of your mind, and thus you were thankful to him—back then.
This is different!
“I can walk on my own—”
“Nope.”
…What a mean man.
From the moment your children had somehow hijacked your landing to now, Jinwoo had been carrying you in classic bridal style, as though it were the most natural thing in the world.
Oh, you could feel his muscles—and you almost leaned closer in an attempt to hide your growing fluster.
You don’t even know where to put your hands. Sure, you wrapped your arms around him, once, to steady yourself right after you fell into his arms—God, that sounds so cheesy. Right now, though, you were awkwardly fiddling with your fingers on your lap. This dilemma came to a much quicker end than the ongoing mental gymnastics in your mind when Jinwoo started walking, where you instinctively held onto his shoulder, simultaneously giving up on the matter of being carried like some damsel in distress until who knew when.
Even as the path ahead cleared—his shadow soldiers bowing deeply on either side and your butterflies fluttering like honor guards—Jinwoo showed no intention of putting you down. And you have to admit, there was undeniable comfort in the way he held you, grounding and unwavering just like his presence.
You almost forgot that you were inside a dungeon.
When did you start being this comfortable around Jinwoo?
Was it before meeting Norma Selner, the very first-time trust between you felt balanced in scale? Was it while on your first trip to the demon castle, when you brought yourself to hold his hand to calm him in what otherwise would be a precarious situation? Or was it further back?
How romantic!
Isn’t this basically ‘walking down the aisle’?
Mother—
You winced as the telepathic chatter from your children filled your mind, their voices buzzing with excitement and a variety of commentaries.
Love?
To a man who deserved everything and more? When you couldn’t even be sure of your place in this world, how could you do that to him? To the man who [̴]̷[̵]̶[̵]̶[̴]̴[̷]̵ you?
…?

W-What is…my memories—
“-me)…(Name)!”
You jolted. For a few moments, the only thing you could see was grey.
“I knew it, you’re—”
“I’m fine, Jinwoo. And stop making that face.”
“What—”
“It doesn’t suit you.”
“Oi—”
Before he could let out another syllable, you circled your arms around him and buried your face on his shoulder. You were well-aware of how his muscles tensed then, how his breath hitched when yours warmed his neck, and how he shivered when you played with his hair at the base with your fingers. It was a sly move on your part, to distract him like this.
How far can I go? What a dangerous thought.
It was impossible not to notice the signs, how confusing they all were.
It might have been a stretch to assume, might even be delusional, but unless it was normal behavior of this time and age to kiss the back of another’s hand—other than family’s—you doubted you read the situation too far in that case. The gesture might be normal occurrences for affectionate people, and you wouldn’t claim to know how Jinwoo would be if he had someone who truly accompanied him on his journey, step by step. What you did know was that Jinwoo showed that he cared, less with words, more through actions.
So, what did his actions so far told you?
For a lone wolf such as he, Jinwoo had been quite... tactile. You doubted he would be to just anyone.
Comfort, maybe?
Which led to the next question: you no longer fit in the category of ‘just anyone’ to him, weren’t you? After all, it was one of the many possibilities you had entertained, especially when he didn’t leave you much of a choice but to stay close.
Trust?
“…” You pursed your lips.
Or something else?

You were a fan of Jinwoo, yes, just one of the many, and a hopeless romantic to boot, considering the amount of romance genres you consumed in your free time up till now. It was a good thing if he actually found some comfort in you, God knew this man deserved more, so you didn’t really mind the hand-holding, hugging, and overall proximity. If you were being honest, every time he sought you out, it never failed to make you feel giddy—too giddy.
It was hard to turn a blind eye to the changes.
How could you describe this? Feverish, fuzzy, and your stomach did the thing? It felt too textbook copy-paste—everything was—which was fitting, considering your situation. But, simply ‘feeling’ it was not enough. What an excuse that was, when there was not yet definitive evidence to support your claims. Would you stoop that low?
In any case, you were threading onto treacherous grounds.
But—
You tightened your hold on Jinwoo, hiding yourself from the world.
System, can I afford to indulge myself?
[ … ]
“Enjoying yourself?” Jinwoo asked, and while you couldn’t see it, you just knew that he had to be smirking.
Look who’s talking. That question could apply to him too.
You mumbled something incoherent into his shoulder, and Jinwoo tilted his head, his smile widening. “What was that?”
You didn’t feel like gracing him with the answer he wanted this time. Instead, you nuzzled further into him, your head bumping against his chin from below, and your lips inches away from his Adam’s apple.
Just as you predicted again, Jinwoo shut his mouth pretty quick.
Revenge sure tasted sweet, but you decided that you would spare him some mercy. After all, you were still thankful for the distraction he provided, knowingly or not.
A small smile bloomed against his shoulder.
For all your children’s teasing, a small part of you couldn’t help but agree: this moment, despite every absurdity that surrounded it, was undeniably romantic.
Just this once.
Behind the curtain of the rainy dungeon, you just hoped this wouldn’t become a habit.

★・・・・・・★
“What is a kid doing here?”
Jinwoo perks up when he hears someone approach him. He turns around, seeing a taller girl staring at him with a cheeky smile.
“Heya! Are you okay? Are you lost? How old are you?” She bombarded him with questions, and Jinwoo felt overwhelmed by her curiosity. Were she from another team? Probably, he had never met her before.
“Hold on. You’re hurt.” She pulls out a potion, and without giving Jinwoo time to react, she immediately gave it to him.
“Drink little guy. Next time, don’t wander into a dungeon by yourself alright? It’s dangerous.”
“I’m 16.” Jinwoo deadpanned, and she gasped dramatically.
“No way, me too!” She cheered, and Jinwoo sweatdropped at her cheerful personality.
“Hold on, drink first. Then I’ll take you with me! You’re from the other team right? They abandoned you here? What a crazy bunch of adults!” Her words spew out of her easily, making Jinwoo a bit flustered in keeping up with her speed. Instead, he only nodded absentmindly, staring at the potion in his hand.
“Drink up little guy. What are you waiting for? Big sister will help you.” She grinned, and waited for him.
Big sister? We're literally the same age.
Seeing her insistence, he drank the potion anyway, feeling his injuries and fatigue wash away.
“Now you look better! Come on, I’ll help you get back to your family.” She extended her hand that was also full of calluses. Was she also working like him?
“My name is (L/N) (Y/N)! What’s your name?”
“...Sung Jinwoo.” He accepted her hand, and she shakes his hand firmly.
“I finally met someone my age in the dungeons!” She then started leading the way, leading him away from his team who had already abandoned him, and toward another group of people.
“I’m a gunslinger by the way, so I use guns. I’m only a C-rank though, but I have good eyes like a scout! What about you?” He flinches when she asked, and he felt ashamed of his own weakness.
“I’m an E-rank hunter.” Jinwoo pull apart, feeling the embarrassment settle in, and he didn’t dare to look up at (Y/N), after all, she probably is disappointed-
“Okay, do you want to come with me?” Despite it all, your cheerful expression did not falter.
Well, it’s better than here.
Jinwoo took your hand without looking back.
Jinwoo was used to the judging eyes and disapproving looks.
So he was bewildered to see you blissfully walk past them without a single care in the world.
Were you just simply ignorant?
“Ignore them. They’re always gonna judge others and put us down.” Jinwoo felt a squeeze.
“I know how you feel.” Jinwoo wondered what expression you have now, and when you turned around, you had a gentle smile on your face.
“Come on, I’ll treat you to some convenient store food. I’m starving and I earned enough.”
Jinwoo followed her into the store, and watched her skip and twirl until she stopped in front of instant ramen. Then, she shoved it towards him.
Before Jinwoo could say anything, she patted his shoulder.
“At times like this, we have to stick together! Just because we poor, doesn’t mean we’re a doormat!”
Jinwoo blinked, but he couldn’t hold back his laugh.
“Aww, you’re so cute when you laugh! Like a teddy bear!” Her compliment made him blush and hide away, but she didn’t stop pestering him about it until they finally got their ramen ready to eat.
“Hey, add my number, you’re in a tough spot right?” Jinwoo flinches, feeling shame, but seeing your concerned face, he felt relieved.
“I’ll help you, and when you grow up, you can pay me back! Promise?” Sticking out your pinky like a child, you grinned brightly.
Jinwoo could only smile gratefully, before locking pinkies.
There and then, a promise was made.
“Mom! Jinwoo-oppa got fried chicken for us! And he brought a friend over!”
It’s been a couple of months since that promise, and to his surprise, you didn't break the promise. In fact, you supported him...a lot.
“Oh dear, you didn’t have to.”
“Nice to meet you Auntie, my name is (L/N) (Y/N), and this one's on me. Don’t worry!”
“You’re too sweet, but we can’t-”
“It’s okay! Jinwoo helped me a lot, so this is me paying him back!”
JInwoo watched as you debated with his mom, going back and forth until his mom gave in with a smile.
Before he knew it, everyone gathered around the table and began digging in. Soon, Jinah began bombarding you with questions, such as how you met, and-
“Do you like my oppa?”
“Of course I do! I’ll marry him when I grow up!”
Jinwoo froze in embarrassment, while his mom was simply a little bit surprised, before a cheeky and playful look replaced it quickly, just like his little sister.
“Really?”
“Yep! He’s the cutest boy I’ve ever met! He’s so sweet and cuddly like a teddy bear-” Jinwoo slaps a hand over your mouth while his face remains bright red.
He felt your lips move still, as if joking or teasing him.
He felt questioning and teasing stares from his family, and he knew that they would never let this go.
One meal turned into multiple, until your presence became a norm at his little home.
“Auntie! I got you and Jinah some skincare! You have to try this!” And your relationship with his mom and sister has grown a lot.
A little too much.
“Aigoo, you didn’t have to buy something so expensive for us.”
“It’s okay Auntie! You always make me delicious food!”
“Oppa.” Dazed, it took Jinwoo a moment to direct his attention to his sister, who had her arms crossed.
“When are you going to marry (Y/N)-unnie?”
“W-What?!” She rolled her eyes at him.
“You better marry her soon or else someone is gonna steal her away!” His sister gives him a little pat of encourage before she runs off towards you and his mom and joining in on the skincare talk.
He watches as you turn towards him and gave a cheeky little grin before you were tackled into a hug by Jinah.
Can you really ask you for marriage? Does he have the right to ask you when he’s still this weak? He still needs to rely on you to survive.
He can’t, at least not now.
When he grows up, Jinwoo promises to pay you back and protect you.
He just hopes that day will come soon.
“Jinwoo!”
He can’t die now.
Even if his vision is blurred by blood or if hope is nothing but a bitter dream.
He won’t die here.
“Jinwoo?”
Just as surprised as you were, Jinwoo noticed that he was much taller than you now. He chuckled, noticing how you seemed very confused as you peaked around him, as if analyzing and trying to figure out what is going on.
“Jinwoo doesn’t have a twin right…?”
“(Y/N), it’s me.”
It took a moment for you to process before you held his arms as your eyes turned glossy. Jinwoo panicked as he saw you were going to cry, until you suddenly squeeze his cheeks.
“Where did my cute teddy bear go! I mean you’re still handsome but...my little king!” He felt a harsh tug and he stumbled forward into your arms.
“How did puberty hit you this hard!? Was it because you were cursed and then after you woke up from a coma, you finally were able to grow?”
What is this? Some cliche manhwa plot?
Jinwoo pull you apart easily, shocking you again, but instead he pulls you into a hug.
“Don’t worry, I’m still your teddy bear.”
“But you’re too big for me to spoon you now!” Jinwoo bursts out laughing at your pouting face which is full of disappointment.
“(Y/N), I’ll spoon you.” Before you could say another word, he holds your hand tightly.
(Y/N), remember our promise long ago?” You nod slowly, clearly missing his old self.
“I’ll protect you, and pay you back for everything you did for me and my family.”
“You don’t have to-”
“It’s a promise, and we pinky promised it.”
“Not fair! How come your puppy eyes are still the same even when you’re big!” You playfully cross your arms, before a cheeky grin appeared on your lips.
“Fine, treat me to fried chicken okay?”
“Anything you want.”
“Let me spoon you?” Jinwoo laughs.
“If you can.” He ruffles your hair, making you jump and punch him playfully.
“Jinwoo! This is why I like your little version better! At least he was cute and he listens to me-” Jinwoo pulls you closer by the waist, making you yelp by instinct.
“Am I still not cute?” You push him away.
“You’re handsome, not cute. There’s a difference.” Jinwoo smirks when he sees you turn away with a blush on your cheeks.
“Unnie, you can just marry him and then when you have children, there will be mini-versions of him again!”
“Jinah!”
JInwoo laughs, that actually doesn’t sound too bad.

By Your Side
Sung Jin-Woo X F!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary:
You never asked to awake as a hunter, an A-Rank hunter nonetheless. You were pretty athletic and quick witted, but you had always hated fighting.
You wanted to live a normal life, one where you were just a teacher for a bunch of high schoolers. So yes, a lot of people criticize you after finding out that you were a high ranked mage who decided against entering dungeons – against fighting for society.
However, you are glad that you never gave a damn about people’s opinions about your life and didn’t change your mind, because now, facing this B, maybe A-rank monsters, you were sure that you made the right choice by not accepting the offers from the guilds back then.
Or, a story where you are a teacher at Sung Jin-Ah' school, when the dungeon break started inside the building.
(Spoilers from chapter 117 onwards)
(Sung Jin-Woo X F!Reader)

How can I person become so obsessed in just a few days???
Hellooo? Sung Jin-Woo? What the heel did you do?
Anyway, the thing is, I nedded to write something, and I decided to use the dungeon break that happens inside Jin-Ah's high school.
I hope you enjoy!^^
Tumblr media
You never asked to awake as a hunter, an A-Rank hunter nonetheless. You were pretty athletic and quick witted, but you had always hated fighting.
Scouts from various guilds reached you after your evaluation, asking you to join them, but you politely declined all offers saying that you already had something in mind. They all probably thought that you were waiting for a specific guild to contact you, but the truth was that…
“I want to be a teacher.” You told the chairman of Hunters Association, when he asked to have a meeting.
“Is that so?” The chairman, Go Gun-Hee, smiled understandingly at you.
“I…I know that people will judge me for my choice, but I have my reasons.”
“It’s okay, I won’t force you, Miss (L/n). I just want to let you know that there will always be a place for you here too, if you ever change your mind.”
This time you smiled.
“Thank you, but I don’t think that I will change my mind.”
You wanted to live a normal life, one where you were just a teacher for a bunch of high schoolers. So yes, a lot of people criticize you after finding out that you were a high ranked mage who decided against entering dungeons – against fighting for society.
“Don’t listen to them, (Y/n) Unnie!” Jin-Ah exclaimed once, when you told the young girl what had been happening around you. “You can do whatever you like! Who are these people to judge what you want, anyway?!”
“I mean…it’s just irritating…” You sighed. “Is it so wrong of me to want to be something that’s not a hunter?”
A hand patted your head, and you turned your head to look at your sweet boyfriend, who gave you an encouraging smile.
“No, you are not wrong.” Jin-Woo said, his voice calm and soft as always. “As long as this is the path that you decide for yourself, (Y/n).”
Your chest felt warm hearing those words, and you couldn’t hold back the small smile and the laugh that escaped your lips.
“Thank you.” You muttered, before kissing his cheek.
“Woah! Big words from someone who always lands at the hospital, Mister E-rank hunter…” Jin-Ah interrupted, provoking her older brother, who just rolled his eyes.
But of course, that was a conversation before Jin-Woo reawakened anyway.
However, you are glad that you never gave a damn about people’s opinions about your life and didn’t change your mind, because now, facing this B, maybe A-rank monsters, you were sure that you made the right choice by not accepting the offers.
People were screaming, the sound of doors and windows being broken were echoing around the whole school. The walls and floor were painted red – red with blood, the blood of your precious students –, and you hated that you couldn’t help everyone.
It was definitely a dungeon break, and of all places, it had to happen inside the school, a building holding more than 300 students.
You knew that some of them escaped, it was lunch break and a lot of students were probably having lunch outside when the problem started, but still, there were a lot still inside the classrooms, cafeteria and halls…and now…most of them were probably…
The green monster – an orc, if you remembered correctly – swung the ax towards you, and you blocked it with the sword that you had inside your space magic inventory.
Mages usually were the ones supporting a party from behind, but once depleted of mana, they were just like any other normal human, unable to protect themselves. But you never liked the idea of being helpless, so twice a week you trained kumdo under the supervision of Song Chi-Yu, who also awakened as a mage, but never left behind the martial arts.
You jumped, leaving some distance between you and the orc, and when it charged in your direction, you deflected the ax, using it as a step stone, and swung your sword, cutting off the monster head.
“Go! Go inside the classroom!” You yelled at some of your students who were still in the hall. “Put the tables and chairs at the door and make a barricade! I'm gonna buy you as much time as I can!”
You knew that it was useless, it was only you – an A-rank hunter without experience – against a crowd of orcs. These monsters would go through any barricade in just a second, but right now, any second that you could buy for these kids was precious.
“(Y/n) unnie!” Jin-Ah yelled by the door, when another orc came in your direction.
This time you used magic, an ice shard appeared in your hands, and at the next second it was stuck in the head of the orc, who fell lifeless to the ground.
“I said: Go inside, Jin-Ah!” You yelled again, eyes never leaving the opposite side of the hall, where more monsters were coming from.
“BUT!”
“This is an order from your teacher ! Go inside!”
“Come on, Jin-Ah!” Song-Yi pulled her friend inside and closed the door, making you sighed relieved that someone was there for the girl who you saw as your own sister.
Now…
There were a lot of monsters coming, and fighting in such a narrow space was difficult enough against only one orc, if they cornered you, it was game over. You didn’t have other choice.
The air in the hall got cold, ice shards started to appear around you…
I need to reduce the number of monsters, no matter what.
…and then a shadow, a black and blue shadow in the form of a bear suddenly showed up.
“...Tank…?” You muttered, (e/c) eyes wide with surprise.
The bear was smaller than you remembered, but it probably adapted its size to fit in the hall.
“Hah…” You almost laughed.
Your boyfriend surely was the best.
“Let's go, Tank!”
You were panting – tired of averting attacks and almost out of mana –, your vision was starting to swirl, black dots appearing here and there, and to make things worse, you were probably suffering from blood loss from the cut on your back.
Tank was a great help, but everytime that it got destroyed, it took a few moments to come back, and that was a disadvantage for your side.
How many orcs did you and Tank kill anyway? You didn’t know anymore, and it’s not like you were counting, but didn’t it have an end? No matter how many you pierced with ice shards or cut with your sword, those damn monsters keep coming.
You just took your eyes from the monsters for a second, just a second, and then, you were being thrown through the door of the classroom that you were trying to block. Your students yelled your name, when you hit the floor coughing and trying to pull some air in your lungs at the same time.
Jin-Ah came in your direction and helped you up, and then you felt how her hands were trembling. There was no need to look behind you to know that not only Jin-Ah, but all students, were more than terrified right now.
You took a deep breath, trying to calm down your panicking heart. Nothing good would come if you lose to your own anxiety.
“Stay behind me.” You muttered, pushing the girl to the back of the classroom.
You were all surrounded, and you didn’t know how much longer you could hold against the orcs. How long has it been since this horror movie started? Where was the Hunter Association? Where was the cavalry?
Two monsters charged, and you cut an arm of one with your sword, while Tank bit the head of the other one, but you didn’t have time to block the punch that came from another orc that came inside the room.
It hurted like hell – and you were sure that you had a broken rib or two –, however you didn’t have the time to stop, those creatures were going for your students.
“I’m right here, bastards!” You yelled, using your weapon to stand up, and sending ice shards immediately, piercing the monsters’ heads. “Don’t you dare lay a finger on my students!”
You crossed the classroom with an agility that you didn’t know you possessed – adrenaline , you thought – and cut the opponents as best as you could considering that your body was screaming in pain.
Then the thing that scared you the most happened. One orc passed through you and Tank, and raised the weapon at Jin-Ah’s direction.
No! No! No!
“JIN-AH!”
Suddenly, a red arm shot up from the shadows, grabbing the orc’s arm.
For a second you thought that you would pass out of relief, because of course your boyfriend would leave a guard, ‘ No, three guards.’ – you thought as other 2 red orcs appeared – for his baby sister.
“You could have shown up earlier!”
The red high orc looked at you with a confused expression before punching the enemy through the roof.
With Tank and the three high orcs' help, you thought that now you may have a chance to win and leave this situation, but then, a new figure came around the corner, bigger and more intimidating than the others.
You instinctively knew that he was the boss.
Great, just great.
It yelled and pointed the weapon that it was caring at you, and really, people didn’t have to understand monster language to know what it was saying.
He wanted you dead.
“Don’t worry, the feeling is mutual.” You said sarcastically, as a few ice shards flew at the boss's direction.
But well, a boss was a boss at the end of the day.
The shards fell to the ground, small pieces of ice scattered all around the floor.
That’s bad.
Even if you were a newbie – no experience at all –, if you had to fight just the boss, you may have stood a chance. However, after who knows how long killing and almost being killed by its minions, you were exhausted and now completely out of mana, that attack was the last one you could conjure.
With hands trembling, you pointed the sword at the boss, but one of Jin-Woo high orcs pushed you to the side, shaking it head, as if telling you to take a break.
Before you could say a word of protest, Jin-Ah and Song-Yi grabbed your arms and pulled you at the back of the class.
“Stop (Y/n) unnie.” Jin-ah’s voice was weak, tears threatening to fall any moment as she checked your injuries. “Stay here, please…”
You didn’t dare to speak – you didn’t even know if you had the strength to – so you just patted the girl’s head and hugged her with your other arm, (e/c) eyes never leaving the dungeon boss, who was yelling something at the direction of Jin-Woo’s shadows.
The green orcs attacked together this time, slashing the shadow soldiers with fury, never giving them a chance to regenerate. And when you least expected, the boss approached you and your students while the shadows were occupied with its soldiers.
Pushing Jin-Ah to Song-Yi, you immediately blocked the boss sword with your own.
What a brutal attack!
The sword felt impossibly heavy – or maybe the boss was just too strong. Or both. There was no way to tell. Your arms and back screamed in pain as the floor cracked beneath your feet, buckling under the pressure of the attack.
The boss was yelling again, red eyes not even looking at you, but at Jin-Ah.
You gritted your teeth – anger consuming your being – and pushed with all your strength the enemy's weapon, making him take a step back.
“Where are you looking at, your piece of shit?!” The insult left your mouth so naturally that you almost felt proud. If Jin-Woo was here, he would probably be surprised, but would still laugh at your words. The situation was fitting after all. “Your opponent is me!”
The boss growled at you, an animalistic sound that made you and all your students flinch, before it charged at you again – this time, it was looking properly at you.
So now, I am considered an enemy.
You leap to the side, narrowly dodging the attack, and raise your sword to strike –but the boss catches it, halting your movements. Before you can react, he swings his weapon at you once more. You didn’t have time to think, you let go of your sword and threw yourself to the ground to avoid the blade that would have cut you in half – the monster grunted loudly, probably irritated that you avoided certain death and crushed your sword using just his bare hands.
The students gasped horrified at the demonstration of strength, if the boss could break an A-Rank weapon with bare hands, they (and also you), didn’t want to think about what could happen if he got his hands on any of you.
Conjuring a second (and last) weapon from your magic space inventory – a dagger of all things –, you stared at the monster, analyzing its movements and waiting for an opening.
You never saw Jin-Woo fighting, but you knew that his chosen weapon was a dagger, if not, you were sure that he was just punching monsters inside the dungeons, however, one thing that you learned from him when fighting with a dagger, was that everything was a matter of timing.
“It doesn't matter if the opponent is a monster or a human.” Jin-Woo said once, while the two of you were preparing dinner. “There’s always an opening, an opportunity to strike.”
“Andddd you are telling me this because…?” You joked, pushing him with your hips.
“Well, you never know when you will need the knowledge.” He answered with a shrug.
I’m glad that I listened to his battle’s advice.
You didn’t have another choice if not dodge the attacks for now, you couldn’t risk breaking your dagger trying to stop the sword. You were smaller and faster than the boss, you need to use it in your favour.
An opening, you just need an opening. One second was enough.
And as if your prayers were heard, the boss slammed the sword in the ground trying to beat you, resulting in the sword getting stuck on the floor.
That’s my chance!
You charged at the dungeon boss, his right side open for an attack, all you needed to do was strike it on the neck and things would be over.
But you were naive.
“Ah, but remember that the higher the rank, the more intelligent they are, be it people or monsters.” Your black haired boyfriend warned.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean that not everyone plays fair.”
The monster smirked – Was that even possible? But it did look smug! – and when you realized what was happening, it was too late. You barely had the time to block the sword that surely wasn’t stuck at the floor at all.
You were sent flying, back at the hall, where you hit the already damaged walls. The air left your lungs, and for a second everything went black. Your body hit the floor, and the dagger that you were holding fell from your hands, you didn’t have the energy to hold it or to get up anymore. Something warm was running down your face, and the strong smell of iron invaded your nostrils.
You were bleeding…
Hah…great…
…and probably had a concussion.
Double great.
You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to focus, trying to make the world stop spinning, trying to hold back the urge to vomit, trying to regain any leftover energy to stand up, because you could hear your students screaming your name at the top of their lungs.
They need you.
Jin-Ah needed you.
Tears of frustration started to form in your eyes, no matter how much you were forcing your body to get up, it wasn’t responding to your wants.
Another scream, Song-Yi was screaming Jin-Ah’s name.
Please, please, get up!
But your legs and arms weren’t moving.
Get up! Get up!
From where you were, you couldn’t see what was happening inside the classroom, so your stupid brain was painting the worst scenarios.
Silence.
Oh God…please, no…
Suddenly the boss yelled, and at the same time you felt a big source of magic power approaching.
The whole building trembled, pieces of the roof falling to the ground. There was smoke coming from inside the classroom, and among the sounds coming from there, you heard his voice.
“You’re safe now.”
You wanted to cry, he came. Jin-Woo really came. And he arrived, shutting up the damn monsters.
“It’s alright now.”
“Oppa!”
Jin-Ah’s voice made you release a breath that you didn’t even realize that you were holding.
She is okay. Jin-Ah is safe.
“I’m sorry, I’m late…”
No…you’re not. You thought, closing your eyes.
“Is everyone okay?” He asked, and you were glad to hear your students' voices. “Where is (Y/n)?”
“In the hall! (Y/n) unnie, s-she's in the hall! T-That monster, it attacked her!”
The magical power in the air seemed to disappear for a moment, and then it came back with almost the double of force, it was so intense that you could feel it almost crushing you.
“Igris…take care of Jin-Ah.” His voice was controlled, and you knew that he was barely holding back his anger. “Everyone else, take the students and head down first.”
And now you could finally let your body relax. Jin-Woo would take care of things from here. You didn’t need to worry anymore.
Maybe the relief was so big that you lost consciousness for a moment, because when you realized what was happening again, you could see your boyfriend pressing the stupid dungeon boss on the wall by the neck.
Hah…
“Serves…you right…” You muttered, a smirk on your lips as you saw the desperate look on the orc’s face. The face of someone who was facing death itself.
Jin-Woo immediately made eye contact with you, his beautiful gray eyes getting wide as soon as he accessed your wounds, at least the visible ones.
“Thanks for coming…” You tried to smile, but no smile would make your boyfriend less worried now. And it was your impression, or it was getting hard to breathe? Did a rib punctured your lungs?
“(Y/n)...” It was so good to hear your name, even if it sounded strangled.
“Hey babe…” You greeted, coughing blood as soon as the words left your lips. You saw Jin-Woo make a move to let go of the orc, but you glared at him, daring your boyfriend to abandon his duty as a S-Rank to help her. “Don’t you dare let go of this bastard.”
“I need to treat you now.” He said, voice serious, but still stayed where he was.
You grunted, you couldn’t move a finger, so yes, maybe you were in need of medical attention, but looking around and seeing the…blood trail that the orcs left behind, you couldn’t care less about your condition.
“If you let go of this piece of shit…I’m going to break up with you, got it?!”
Who would have thought that mere words would make one of the strongest hunters in the world flinch?
“This is not the time to jok-”
“Because of this guy, my students are…they are…” You couldn’t say that word, and it made you more angry. “If you don’t want to be single by the next minute Sung Jin-Woo, do me a favor and give that…” You glared at the boss dungeon. “...hell.”
And with those words, you use all your energy. You heard your boyfriend call your name, but the world went black before you could mutter another word.
At least now, everything would be okay.
When you woke up, the white ceiling of a hospital room was staring back at you. The room was bright, the smell of antiseptic was pretty strong and you could hear the beeps of a heart monitor – your heart monitor, you were alive. There was also an IV drip on your arm – with (probably) a lot of pain killer –, and someone was holding your hand.
“Good morning.”
As you looked up, you were greeted by the expression of relief from your boyfriend.
“How are you feeling, (Y/n)?”
Like shit. You wanted to say, but you decided to entertain him.
“Like a truck just ran over me, and came back on reverse.” You answered. “Did you get the plate? I want to press charges.”
Jin-Woo arched an eyebrow, amused by your choice of words.
“Don’t worry, I already took care of it.”
You smiled and closed your eyes again, letting a relieved sigh escape your lips. It was really over.
“How is Jin-Ah? How are all the students?”
Jin-Woo seemed to stop to think for a moment, as if pondering what to say.
“And don’t lie.” You added.
“Jin-Ah is in this hospital as well, with a few bruises, but she is going to be okay, just like the other students that you saved.”
“Any other…survivors?” You asked, but Jin-Woo just closed his eyes and shook his head. “...Dammit…”
“You did what you could.” He interjected immediately, silencing the negative thoughts creeping into your mourning mind. “You’re not even a hunter, yet you stood your ground against A-Rank monsters alone. You should be proud, because without you, Jin-Ah and the others might not have made it out alive.”
There were a few tears ready to fall from your eyes, you were frustrated, angry and so sad, but somewhere in your brain, you knew that what your boyfriend was saying was also true. In the end you did what was possible in that situation, and you saved a few lives. So instead of using words, you just nodded, to let the man know that you understand what he was saying.
“But you really gave me a scare back there.” Jin-Woo said, his grip on your hand tightening. “Passing out after threatening to break up with me.”
You couldn’t hold back a snort. What kind of nonsense was this guy sputtering now? Drying the tears with the back of your other hand, you opened your eyes to take a look at the man beside your hospital bed.
“So, which one was scarier? Me passing out or the threat?”
“Both.” He deadpanned, but you knew that he was trying to light up the mood.
For a few moments you two didn’t say anything, but you knew that you needed to tell him a few things, for your and his well being.
“I…I’m sorry for scaring you.” You finally say, looking at his gray eyes. When he didn’t say a word, you decided to continue. “But back there, I was…I was so mad at that damn monster, at the whole situation, that I wanted you to end it before trying to come to me.”
“I know.” The man muttered, his thumb tracing circle patterns at the back of your hand.
“But next time, I promise to not threaten you.”
He frowned.
“There won’t be a next time.”
You smiled.
“I know, but even if it did happen, you would come again, I’m sure.”
“Of course.” He said, flicking your forehead. “Stupid.”
“Hey! What was that for?!” You exclaimed, with a hand massaging the place where you were hit.
“I’m glad that you are looking out for other people, but you should also take care of yourself!”
“It’s not like I didn’t try…” You muttered, because it was true. Who in their right mind would want to be at the brink of death?
“Try harder!”
“Says the guy who jumped inside gates as if going on a walk in the park before reawakening!”
This time Jin-Woo blushed embarrassed.
“T-this and that are different!”
“How so?!” You questioned, holding back a laugh. Your boyfriend was just too cute to mess with.
He sighed, before putting a hand on your face, caressing your cheek with his thumb. You leaned into the touch, closing your eyes, enjoying the quiet moment.
“Thank you for coming.” You muttered, happy with his strong and comforting presence beside you.
“You’re welcome.” Came the answer, way closer than you expected.
When you opened your eyes, you saw gray. They were staring at you intensely, trying to confirm if you were really there, if you were really okay, if you were really alive.
“I’m here.” You say.
“Yes, you are.” He answers.
And his lips met yours, as if confirming what his eyes were trying to tell him.
You were still here, by his side.
And he was there, by yours.

Other Other World
[Solo Leveling x Homicipher MC!Reader - Crossover]
Idea 1 (here) Idea 2: {Twisted Killings} As the dark side of the Hunters Association
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Where is this?? Was your first thought when you exit the elevator. You were in a deserted school building with a number of students dressed in identical uniforms of male and female genders, but wasn’t a pattern that you recognized. You looked out the window, not even recognizing the place and you’re very very familiar with your neighbourhood playground for certain activities.
Since it was raining outside, you gripped tightly on the handle of the red umbrella and repeatedly hit it on the wall. “ሠⶴቹዪቹ ሠቹ? ሠⶴቹዪቹ ፕⶴጎነ?! (translate: Where we? Where this?!)”
“ክዐፕ ኡክዐሠ. ክዐፕ ኡክዐሠ. (translate: Not know. Not know.)” A tall and thin man in red from head to toe appeared with a twisted smile on his face.
“Useless!” You exclaimed, you stabbed the tip of the umbrella into one of the bodies laying on the ground. Looking around, it was odd how there were corpses all around you and blood splatters were painted all over the walls. “Is this another dumping ground?”
Just as you were thinking, a giant green body fell to your side. You looked down and saw its head bashed into the ground, but it was certainly not dead since it was still twitching and fighting the pale arm that was holding it in place. You glanced up and noticed the familiar figure cloaked in a dirty black kimono.
“ጋልክፏቹዪ. ኡጎረረ. ሃዐ፱. ነቻቹ? (translate: Danger. Kill. You. Safe?)” The pale man with his eyes covered by his long hair asked you, his entire form was on top of the green monster.
“Mr. Crawling.” You smiled and nodded, “ነልቻቹ. ክዐ ሠዐዪዪሃ. (translate: Safe. No worry.)”
Without another word, you took out your crowbar and impaled it into the neck of the monster. When it wouldn’t go the whole way, you leaned your entire body into it until it decapitated the head. The three of you watched it roll off before it stopped. Huh, reminds me of Mr. Chopped.
“ጮዐዪቹ. ፱የ. (translate: More. Up.)” Mr. Crawling pointed upwards.
You hummed and had a thought, “ሃዐ፱ ፕሠዐ ⶴ፱ክፏዪሃ? (translate: You two hungry?)”
Their smiles spread wider at your question. You didn’t need their answer to know that they were excited about what you had in mind. So you had Mr. Crawling brought the green monster’s corpse back to Mr. Silver so the mad doctor could do what he does best and prepare for a meal, while you and Mr. Scarletella went on for some more hunting.
As you made your way higher into the school building, it became apparent that it wasn’t a dumping ground used by some killer, nor was it abandoned in the first place. There were more green monsters around and you had taken care of them with the stupid, delusional and obsessive red umbrella man. As much as you hated the guy or ghost, you can’t deny that he wasn’t useless.
You also found out that you were in a different country from the Korean textbooks scattered around and the Korean words you read. Luckily, you knew Korean and could communicate. What was left was what happened to this school and why there were green monsters roaming around. Based on what you learned around the Other World, the entities there all have unique characteristics and no two entities are alike or the same. So this place wasn’t the Other World you were familiar with.
Mr. Scarletella chuckled, “ኡጎረረ. ጋልፕቹ. ፕዐፏቹፕⶴቹዪ. (translate: Kill. Date. Together.)”
“Shut it before I kill you next.” You raised your crowbar at him.
You heard some chanting and tilted your head in that direction. From the slight shaking, you deduced there was quite the number of them near you two. You glanced down at another monster you killed, it was getting harder and harder to do damage since they were much bigger than your stature, plus you were getting tired even with your ghostly companions.
“We have enough for a feast…” You muttered, you put away your crowbar and opened the red umbrella to shield over your form even though you’re indoors. You could feel Mr. Scarletella hovering behind you, his back arching down so that he was under the umbrella as well, staying close to you but never touching. “Let’s join the party. Cover me.”
“ነጮቹረረ ፪ረዐዐጋ. ⶴ፱ጮልክነ ፕⶴቹዪቹ. (translate: Smell blood. Humans there.)” He spoke with chuckles and giggles. Well, given that he was even more so twisted than you are, you don’t see the issue.
Mr. Scarletella’s distortion over space hid you from the crowd of green monsters. Easily, the two of you slipped into the classroom where a small group of students were standing by the windows, all shaking in fear. Though your attention was on the three similar monsters that were red in colour now, they regenerated even after they were cut down and stood protecting one particular girl.
Just as you thought you could stand watching the show, the monster seemed to have figured out the trick of the three red ones’ regeneration and swiftly immobilized them. One aimed for the girl and you dashed in front, pointing the open umbrella at the monster’s outreached open palm so that the tip would pierce right into the center of its palm.
Its screams of agony brought a smile to your face that you pushed the girl behind you to join the gawking group. It reached the other hand at you while you returned the umbrella and closed it to smack it away in a fluid motion. You didn’t register fully what the students behind you were gossiping about, something about awakening and Hunters. You didn’t care at the moment, because you could just slaughter the beast. It looked human enough, so that was fine.
However, before you could have your fun, a cloak covered your view and you heard painful screams from the monster once more. Your hands frantically moved the cloth away, knowing who it was. “Mr. Hood! Stop that!” When your vision was back, Mr. Hood’s giant executioner’s axe had already sliced the monster in half and Mr. Crawling was in front of you standing guard. “Ah geez…”
A loud roaring screech echoed outside the building, making everyone freeze in alarm. You were immediately brought to the side by Mr. Hood and covered with his large cloak. Even the monsters were backing away from the center of the room, but they were too late as the floor rumbled from the impact of something landing from the outside. Dust clouding the room and coughing was heard by the students who had no cover.
You stayed under Mr. Hood’s cloak, your hand gripping on your crowbar in case it was another enemy to kill. But your grip weakened when you heard a soft voice of comfort. “You’re safe now.”
Your hand carefully shifted the piece of cloth to give you view of the outside. Part of the classroom was destroyed and the rain pitter-pattered in, clearing the debris and dust quickly. There was a giant blue and black dragon nested at the make-shift opening. Then there was a lone figure standing in front of the girl you protected before.
His aura was murderous and chaotic, yet he appeared so calm and controlled. As if any sudden movements would make him snap and everyone there would be dead. Your killer instinct told you that you’d never want to be that man’s enemy. You momentarily wondered if Mr. Scarlettella and Mr. Crawling had disappeared from sight since Mr. Hood was here already.
You closed your eyes and remained in Mr. Hood’s makeshift hiding spot, as long as Mr. Hood and you don’t pose a threat, that man would only focus on those green monsters and you two could slip away. You heard the man arranging the evacuation and the other students were more than happy to oblige.
“Wait! There’s still someone left!” That girl’s voice urged, you guessed her footsteps came over to you but stopped a distance away. After all, Mr. Hood was definitely still holding his axe on guard. “That person inside protected us before you came, Oppa!”
“Person?” The man asked.
You left Mr. Hood shift, his hidden arm wrapped around you securely. You patted his arm to reassure him before you moved the cloak to show yourself. With the man being something akin to a ticking timebomb, you didn’t want to risk anything before you could find a way to return to where you were. “Hi.”
“Are you a Hunter? Is that your Summon?” The man asked. “Did you just awaken?”
You had no idea what was a Hunter nor a Summon, hell, what even is an awaken?! So you just did the most innocent and ‘I have no idea what’s happening’ face you could. “It just appeared when I’m in danger.” It wasn’t a lie. They do have that protective streak. Though, the fact that only one was being referred to meant the other two were safely gone from the scene.
“Evaculate with my sister.” The man basically ordered.
“Yup! Sure!” You came out of Mr. Hood’s cloak and gave him the signal to disappear. You didn’t want any trouble. You followed the girl and went down from the wing of the dragon you saw. When you were safely on the ground, you opened your red umbrella and Mr. Scarlettella was there by your side. You snuck away from the scene and made your escape into the crowd with Mr. Crawling leading you into alleyways.

Manhwa Scenes: Chapter 116-119 (Dungeon break at Jinah’s school)
Note: To those that have no idea what Homicipher is. It’s a horror romance game with a female MC that’s a serial killer and ended up going to the ghost realm called Other World. There’s a language barrier and the aim of MC is to find a way home. You can search it up, I believe the demo is free, but the game is paid on some gaming platform. I myself didn’t play it but watched gameplay and LOVE Mr. Crawling.
Anyways, this is just a small dabble I wanna do, nothing serious. Not like I'm switching fandoms and stuff. Still doing Solo Leveling fics. (though I will be uploading something tomorrow, maybe a series continuation~ since this one is short~~ shh)

It all started with a song || Lee Jihoon
Tumblr media
Pairing: Producer-Idol Jihoon x Producer-Solo Idol Reader
Genre: Fluff, Idol romance
Summary: Jihoon, the reserved genius of SEVENTEEN, unexpectedly finds himself drawn to Y/N, a rising junior idol from HYBE, after collaborating on a duet. What starts as a professional partnership blossom into a heartfelt romance, captured in their respective songs
Author's note: This is my first time writing a story, and I truly appreciate you giving it a chance. Please forgive me if there are any mistakes—I’m still learning and growing as a writer. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and support my work. It means the world to me, and I hope you enjoy the journey I’ve created.
If you have any requests for any member or any other groups feel free to do so
Jihoon was preparing to release his solo album, which included a heartfelt duet about two lovers. After finishing his own parts, his next challenge was to find the perfect female lead for the song. With Bumzu’s help, he sifted through several demos of the female section.
After an exhaustive search, one demo finally stood out to him—it was exactly what he was looking for. When Bumzu visited him the next day, he asked, “Did any of the lyrics catch your attention?”
Jihoon nodded and showed him the demo.
“Oh, so you liked Y/N’s lyrics,” Bumzu said with a knowing smile. That’s when Jihoon learned that the lyrics had been written by Y/N, a junior solo idol from HYBE.
“You’ve never met her, have you?” Bumzu asked.
Jihoon shook his head. It was no surprise—everyone knew Jihoon wasn’t one to socialize much.
“I’ll bring her to the studio tomorrow,” Bumzu said confidently before heading out, leaving Jihoon to ponder the upcoming meeting.
The next day, Jihoon arrived at the studio earlier than usual, his mind a mix of anticipation and curiosity. He wasn’t sure what to expect. He knew Y/N by name, but meeting her in person would be different.
As he set up his equipment, the door swung open, and Bumzu walked in with a bright grin. Behind him was Y/N, her presence soft yet commanding. She wore a simple outfit, but her confidence and aura made it clear why she was a rising star.
“Jihoon, meet Y/N,” Bumzu introduced.
Jihoon stood, his usual calm demeanor masking his nerves. “Hi,” he greeted simply, bowing slightly.
“Hi! It’s so great to finally meet you Sunbae-nim" Y/N said with a warm smile. Her voice was light and melodic, just as he’d imagined. “I’ve heard so much about you and your music.”
“Likewise, but please don't call me sunbae-nim, you can call me by my name,” Jihoon replied, his words brief but sincere.
Bumzu clapped his hands together, breaking the silence. “Alright, let’s get to work! You two have a duet to perfect.”
Jihoon gestured toward the recording booth, silently inviting Y/N to take her place. As they started working through the song, Jihoon found himself impressed—not just by her vocal ability but by her understanding of the emotions behind the lyrics.
They went over the harmonies and phrasing, fine-tuning every detail. By the end of the session, Jihoon was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything had gone. Y/N wasn’t just talented; she was professional and insightful, bringing a depth to the song that exceeded his expectations.
“You’re really good,” Jihoon said as they wrapped up, his tone earnest.
Y/N beamed. “Thank you! Your composition is amazing—it makes it easy to connect with the song.”
For the first time in a while, Jihoon felt a genuine sense of excitement about the project. Maybe working with others wasn’t so bad after all.
After their first session, Jihoon couldn’t stop thinking about how seamlessly Y/N had brought the song to life. It was rare for him to feel this level of connection with another artist, especially so quickly.
The next day, Bumzu texted Jihoon. "How was it working with Y/N? She said she had a great time."
Jihoon hesitated for a moment before typing back. "She’s talented. The song’s coming together well."
Bumzu responded with a teasing emoji. "That’s high praise from you! Maybe you should tell her that in person."
Jihoon frowned slightly but didn’t reply. Compliments weren’t exactly his strong suit.
Their second studio session was scheduled later that week. Y/N arrived on time, as cheerful and prepared as before. Jihoon noticed how her energy seemed to brighten the room, even when she was just warming up.
“Good morning!” she greeted with a bright smile.
Jihoon nodded. “Morning. Ready to dive in?”
“Always,” she said confidently.
As they worked through the song again, Jihoon found himself more at ease. Y/N’s suggestions were thoughtful, and she wasn’t afraid to ask questions or offer input, which he appreciated. Somewhere in between harmonizing and tweaking lines, they started to find a rhythm—not just in the music, but in their conversations.
During a short break, Y/N leaned back in her chair. “You know, Jihoon, this is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever worked on. It feels so raw and real.”
Jihoon glanced at her, caught off guard by her sincerity. “Thanks. That means a lot,” he said quietly.
“Is it based on a personal experience?” she asked cautiously, as if afraid to overstep.
He hesitated for a moment before replying. “Kind of. It’s… inspired by the idea of love. Not necessarily mine, though.”
Y/N tilted her head, studying him. “I get it. Sometimes it’s easier to write about emotions from a distance.”
Jihoon nodded, appreciating her understanding. Their conversation drifted to other topics—music, inspirations, and even random stories about life as idols. For someone he’d only met recently, Y/N was surprisingly easy to talk to.
By the end of the session, the song was nearly complete. As they packed up, Y/N turned to Jihoon.
“I think this duet is going to be really special,” she said. “Thank you for letting me be part of it.”
Jihoon looked at her, feeling a rare warmth in her words. “You brought the song to life. I should be thanking you.”
Her eyes lit up at his unexpected praise. “Well, I guess we make a pretty good team,” she said with a grin.
Jihoon allowed himself a small smile. “Yeah, we do.”
As Y/N left the studio that day, Jihoon couldn’t help but think that meeting her had been one of the best things to happen during this project.
In the weeks that followed, Jihoon and Y/N spent more time together polishing their duet. Each session seemed to bring them closer, not just as collaborators but as individuals. Y/N’s infectious laughter and unfiltered enthusiasm often pulled Jihoon out of his shell, while Jihoon’s quiet determination and thoughtful approach inspired Y/N to push herself even further.
One day, as they wrapped up the final recording, Bumzu entered the studio with a wide grin. “So, how does it feel to be done?”
Y/N clapped her hands together excitedly. “It feels amazing! I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Jihoon nodded in agreement, his usual stoicism giving way to a subtle but genuine smile. “It’s better than I imagined.”
Bumzu raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. “Wow, Jihoon actually giving compliments? I need to write this down.”
Y/N laughed. “He’s not that bad. He’s just… selective with his words.”
Jihoon shot her a mock glare, but there was no malice behind it. Instead, he found himself smiling along with her—a rare occurrence that didn’t go unnoticed by Bumzu.
As they packed up, Bumzu pulled Jihoon aside. “You know, you’ve changed a bit since working with her,” he said casually.
Jihoon frowned. “What do you mean?”
“I mean, you seem… lighter. Happier, even,” Bumzu said with a knowing grin. “It’s a good look on you.”
Jihoon didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he glanced over at Y/N, who was chatting animatedly with a staff member. There was something about her—something that made him feel less burdened, more open to the world around him.
The song’s release day arrived, and the response was overwhelming. Fans praised the emotional depth of the duet, calling it one of Jihoon’s best works yet. Many were also captivated by the chemistry between Jihoon and Y/N, evident not just in their vocals but in the behind-the-scenes clips shared online.
As they stood backstage during a live performance, Y/N turned to Jihoon. “Are you nervous?” she asked, noticing his unusually quiet demeanor.
“A little,” he admitted. “Not about the song, though. I just hope people feel what we tried to convey.”
Y/N placed a reassuring hand on his arm. “They will. This song has so much heart in it. You’ve poured yourself into it, and I’ve never been prouder to be part of something.”
Her words struck a chord with Jihoon. For the first time in a long while, he didn’t feel alone in his creative journey. “Thank you,” he said softly.
When they stepped on stage and began to sing, Jihoon realized something unexpected. The song, which he’d once viewed as merely a project, had become something far more personal. And in that moment, as their voices blended and the audience’s applause filled the air, Jihoon understood just how much Y/N had changed his perspective—not just on music, but on life itself.
After the performance, Y/N grinned at him. “See? We nailed it.”
Jihoon met her gaze, his expression warm. “We really did.”
And as they walked off stage together, Jihoon couldn’t help but think that this was only the beginning of a story far greater than either of them had anticipated.
In the days following the song's release, the hype only grew. The other members of SEVENTEEN were quick to congratulate Jihoon. Mingyu, with his ever-present energy, was the first to bring it up during one of their group practice sessions.
“Hyung! That duet is insane! Everyone’s talking about you and Y/N,” Mingyu said, clapping him on the back.
Joshua added with a smile, “Yeah, the fans are loving the chemistry. You two sounded amazing together.”
Jihoon felt a rare flush of embarrassment rise to his cheeks. “Thanks, guys. It was a lot of work, but she made it easier.”
“Oh-ho!” Seungkwan chimed in, eyes sparkling with mischief. “Hyung admitting someone made his life easier? This must be a first!”
The room erupted into laughter. Even Jeonghan, who always had a teasing comment up his sleeve, smirked. “So when do we get to meet this famous Y/N?”
Before Jihoon could respond, the studio door creaked open and in walked Bumzu—with Y/N beside him. The sudden appearance of their guest caught everyone’s attention.
“Speak of the devil!” Vernon said, raising an eyebrow.
Y/N waved nervously, a bit overwhelmed by being surrounded by the full force of SEVENTEEN. “Hi, everyone. It’s nice to finally meet all of you.”
Dino bounded over with enthusiasm. “You’re the one with that amazing voice! Your part in the song gave me chills.”
“Thanks!” Y/N said, her smile growing as she relaxed.
Hoshi, never one to miss a moment, stepped forward and grinned. “Are you ready to dance with us too? Because in SEVENTEEN, we don’t just sing—we dance.”
Jihoon rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide a small smirk. “Don’t scare her off, Hoshi.”
Y/N laughed, feeling at ease now. “I’d love to try sometime, but I don’t think I could keep up with you guys. I’m more of a singer than a dancer.”
Jun nudged Jihoon playfully. “Looks like you’re not the only one who’s found a great collaborator.”
Over the next hour, SEVENTEEN welcomed Y/N into their world, joking and sharing stories. The room was filled with laughter, the group’s usual dynamic enriched by a new presence. Jihoon found himself observing the way Y/N blended in so effortlessly, as if she’d been part of their chaotic family all along.
As the evening went on, Minghao approached Jihoon with a knowing smile. “You look happy,” he said simply.
Jihoon glanced at Y/N, who was now in an animated conversation with DK and Woozi, sharing anecdotes about their vocal warm-ups. A small, content smile played on his lips. “I guess I am.”
A few weeks later, SEVENTEEN was preparing for a group livestream, and Y/N was invited to join as a surprise guest. Jihoon wasn’t thrilled about the idea at first—he preferred to keep things professional—but the rest of the members were insistent.
“Come on, Jihoon,” Seungkwan pleaded. “The fans already love you two together. This will be fun!”
“It’s a great way to promote the song even more,” Mingyu added. “Plus, we want to see how she handles being in one of our chaotic lives.”
Reluctantly, Jihoon agreed, and Y/N arrived at the dorm just as the livestream was about to begin.
“Is this what it’s like before you go live?” Y/N asked, watching the members scramble to adjust cameras, lights, and snacks.
“Always,” Jeonghan said with a smirk. “It’s controlled chaos.”
As the livestream began, fans flooded the chat with comments. The members introduced Y/N, and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.
“Y/N’s here! OMG!”
“She and Jihoon look so good together!”
“The duet is my favorite song right now!”
Jihoon, who was reading the comments on his phone, shifted uncomfortably but managed a small smile. “The fans seem happy,” he said quietly to Y/N.
“They’re so sweet,” Y/N replied, her eyes scanning the messages.
The members took turns asking her questions, each one more playful than the last.
“Hoshi,” Y/N said, laughing, “why are you asking if I’d join the Performance Team? I just told you I’m not much of a dancer!”
“Because we can teach you,” Hoshi replied with a dramatic flourish.
DK chimed in, “Or you can join the Vocal Team! We need more people who can hit those high notes.”
“Don’t listen to them,” Minghao said. “You’re a solo artist. Stay in your lane before they rope you into our madness.”
The banter continued until Seungkwan leaned into the camera and asked the question everyone wanted to know.
“So, Y/N, how’s it working with Jihoon?”
The chat exploded with reactions.
Y/N glanced at Jihoon, who was clearly caught off guard but tried to mask it. She smiled. “Honestly? It’s been amazing. He’s a perfectionist, but in the best way. I’ve learned so much from him.”
Jihoon cleared his throat, his ears tinged pink. “She’s talented, so it wasn’t hard to work with her,” he said simply, earning exaggerated “oohs” from the members.
As the livestream continued, Y/N fit right in with SEVENTEEN’s dynamic, laughing and joking with them like she’d known them for years. Fans in the chat began calling her an “honorary 14th member, a title that made her laugh but also secretly warmed Jihoon’s heart.
After the livestream ended, the members sprawled across the couch, tired but happy.
“You handled that like a pro,” Mingyu said, tossing a cushion at Y/N.
“Thanks,” Y/N replied, catching the cushion. “You guys are a lot of fun. I can see why your fans love you so much.”
As the group began to disperse, Jihoon found himself alone with Y/N for the first time that evening.
“You were great today,” he said, his voice softer than usual.
“Thanks. I was a little nervous, but you all made it easy,” Y/N said, leaning against the back of the couch. “Your members are like family, huh?”
Jihoon nodded. “They are. It’s chaotic, but it’s… home.”
Y/N smiled. “I can tell. You’re lucky to have that.”
There was a comfortable silence between them before Y/N added, “And thanks for letting me be part of all this. I didn’t expect to be welcomed so warmly.”
Jihoon met her gaze, his usual stoicism softening. “You’re part of it now. Whether you like it or not.”
Her laughter filled the room, light and genuine. “I think I like it.”
And for the first time in a long while, Jihoon felt like the walls he’d built around himself were no longer as important.
Over the next few weeks, Y/N continued to bond with SEVENTEEN. She found herself invited to more studio sessions, group meals, and even impromptu dance practices. Despite her initial hesitation about being in the spotlight alongside such a well-known group, their warmth made her feel at home.
Jihoon, on the other hand, started noticing the subtle ways Y/N was changing the dynamic around him. She wasn’t just a collaborator anymore; she was becoming a friend. Someone who could pull him out of his creative tunnel and remind him to enjoy the little moments.
One day, after a long recording session, the group decided to hang out at their dorm. Y/N hesitated when Seungkwan invited her along.
“Are you sure? I don’t want to intrude,” she said.
“You? Intruding?” Seungkwan scoffed. “You’re practically one of us now. Come on!”
When they arrived at the dorm, chaos quickly ensued. Mingyu was in the kitchen, trying to cook something “special,” while Hoshi and Dino argued over which choreography to show Y/N.
Jihoon sat on the couch, quietly observing the scene. Y/N was laughing with Jeonghan, who was undoubtedly up to some mischief. He couldn’t help but smile to himself.
“You like her, don’t you?” Minghao’s voice pulled Jihoon from his thoughts.
Jihoon turned to him, his expression unreadable. “What are you talking about?”
Minghao smirked. “You’re not as subtle as you think. The way you look at her—it’s different.”
Jihoon sighed, leaning back against the couch. “She’s… easy to be around. That’s all.”
“Sure,” Minghao said, clearly unconvinced. “Just don’t wait too long to figure it out.”
Later that evening, as everyone settled in for a movie, Jihoon found himself sitting next to Y/N. The room was dimly lit, and the sound of laughter and popcorn crunching filled the air.
Y/N leaned closer to whisper, “Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys. I didn’t expect this when we started working on the song.”
Jihoon glanced at her, the soft glow of the TV reflecting in her eyes. “You’re not just here because of the song anymore. They like you. I… like having you around.”
Her eyes widened slightly at his admission, a soft smile forming on her lips. “I like being around you too, Jihoon.”
For a moment, the noise of the room faded, and it was just the two of them, sitting closer than either realized.
“Jihoon! Pass the popcorn!” DK’s voice broke the moment, and Jihoon blinked, quickly grabbing the bowl to hand over.
Y/N chuckled softly, leaning back into the couch. The warmth between them lingered, unspoken but undeniable.
As the weeks turned into months, their bond deepened. Whether it was through shared late-night studio sessions, casual dinners with the group, or quiet moments away from the chaos, Jihoon and Y/N found themselves drawn closer together.
And while neither of them said it out loud, they both knew that what had started as a simple duet had grown into something far more meaningful.
As time passed, Jihoon and Y/N’s bond became increasingly apparent to everyone around them. The other members of SEVENTEEN had a field day teasing Jihoon about it, though they were careful not to push him too far. Y/N, on the other hand, took it all in stride, her easygoing nature making her a natural fit within the group’s chaotic but loving dynamic.
One day, they found themselves in the studio late at night, working on a new song. The other members had already gone home, leaving just the two of them.
Y/N leaned over the desk, scrolling through the playlist Jihoon had prepared for inspiration. “This one’s good,” she said, pointing to a track.
Jihoon nodded, playing it without hesitation. The soft melody filled the room, and they both sat in comfortable silence, letting the music wash over them.
After a while, Y/N broke the quiet. “Do you ever think about what this all means? The music, the fans, everything we do?”
Jihoon looked at her, surprised by the sudden introspection. “All the time,” he admitted. “It’s why I work so hard. I want it to mean something—to leave something behind that matters.”
She smiled softly. “You already do. Your music touches so many people, Jihoon. Including me.”
He felt a warmth spread through him at her words. “What about you? What does it mean to you?”
Y/N took a moment to think before answering. “It’s about connection. Every lyric, every note… it’s a way to reach people, to let them know they’re not alone. I think that’s why I love working with you. You get that.”
For a moment, Jihoon was at a loss for words. Her sincerity, her openness—it was something he wasn’t used to but found himself drawn to.
“Y/N,” he said, his voice quieter than usual. “I don’t say this often, but… you’ve changed the way I look at things. Working with you—it’s made me realize how much more music can be when it’s shared.”
She looked at him, her eyes shining with gratitude. “You don’t know how much that means to me, coming from you.”
They held each other’s gaze for a moment, the weight of unspoken emotions filling the room. But before either of them could say more, Jihoon’s phone buzzed, breaking the moment.
The next morning, as they arrived at the practice room, the other members were already there. Hoshi immediately noticed the way Jihoon and Y/N seemed closer than usual.
“Did something happen last night?” he asked, his eyes darting between the two.
“Nothing happened,” Jihoon replied quickly, his ears turning pink.
Y/N, however, laughed. “We were just working on music. Don’t let your imagination run wild.”
The members didn’t buy it, but they let it go—for now.
Later that week, the group had a fan meeting, and Y/N was invited as a special guest to perform their duet live for the first time since its release. The fans erupted into cheers as Jihoon and Y/N took the stage together, their voices blending seamlessly as they sang.
During the performance, Jihoon couldn’t help but glance at Y/N, her presence radiating warmth and confidence. He realized that what had started as a professional partnership had grown into something far more personal.
After the performance, as they stood backstage, Y/N turned to Jihoon, her eyes sparkling. “That was incredible. Thank you for sharing this with me.”
Jihoon hesitated for a moment before replying. “Thank you… for everything.”
Y/N smiled, her hand lightly brushing his arm. And in that moment, Jihoon knew that whatever this was between them—friendship, partnership, or something more—he wasn’t ready to let it go.
A few days after their fan meeting, the duet performance went viral. Clips of Jihoon and Y/N on stage, their undeniable chemistry and harmonies, flooded social media. Fans couldn’t stop talking about how perfectly their voices blended and how natural their interactions seemed.
The buzz didn’t go unnoticed by SEVENTEEN.
“Have you seen the comments?” Seungkwan said, shoving his phone in front of Jihoon’s face during a break in practice.
Jihoon glanced at the screen, where fans had flooded the comments section with messages like:
“They’re perfect together!”
“Jihoon and Y/N need to release a whole album together!”
“Am I the only one who feels like there’s more to their story?”
Jihoon sighed, pushing the phone away. “It’s just the fans. They like to speculate.”
“But they’re not wrong,” Mingyu chimed in with a sly grin.
“Not you too,” Jihoon groaned.
That evening, Y/N visited the dorm for what was supposed to be a casual hangout. As usual, the members couldn’t help but stir the pot.
“So, Y/N,” Jeonghan started, leaning casually against the couch, “what’s it like being the most shipped person with Jihoon right now?”
Y/N nearly choked on her drink. “Excuse me?”
“Oh, you didn’t know?” Hoshi said, joining in. “The fans are calling you the ‘power duo.’ Some are even saying you’re a better fit than us!”
“Don’t listen to them,” Jihoon muttered, his ears turning pink.
Y/N, recovering from her initial shock, laughed. “Well, I guess it’s a compliment? I mean, Jihoon is an incredible artist, so I’m honored.”
The room erupted in exaggerated “oohs,” with Seungkwan dramatically fanning Jihoon. “Did you hear that? She called you incredible!”
Jihoon buried his face in his hands, muttering, “Why do I even let you all talk?”
Despite the teasing, Jihoon couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride at Y/N’s words. She always had a way of making him feel seen—not just as an artist but as a person.
Later that night, after everyone had settled down, Y/N and Jihoon found themselves alone on the dorm balcony, overlooking the city lights.
“It’s been a wild night, huh?” Y/N said, leaning against the railing.
Jihoon nodded, his gaze fixed on the skyline. “Yeah. I didn’t expect any of this when we started working together.”
“Me neither,” she admitted. “But I’m glad it happened. I’ve learned so much—not just about music but about myself.”
Jihoon glanced at her, his expression softening. “You’ve changed a lot of things for me, too. I didn’t realize how much I needed someone to remind me why I love what I do.”
Y/N looked at him, her heart skipping a beat at the vulnerability in his voice. “Jihoon… I—”
Before she could finish, the balcony door slid open, and Mingyu stuck his head out. “Hey, are you two having a moment? Because we’ve got snacks inside.”
Y/N burst out laughing, while Jihoon groaned. “You have the worst timing, Mingyu.”
Mingyu grinned. “That’s what I’m here for.”
As the night went on, the teasing and camaraderie continued, but something had shifted between Jihoon and Y/N. Though unspoken, there was an understanding growing between them—one that neither was ready to confront just yet but couldn’t deny any longer.
And as Jihoon watched Y/N laughing with his members, he couldn’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something he’d been searching for without even realizing it.
The weeks passed, and Jihoon found himself unable to shake the feeling that had been slowly growing inside him. Every time Y/N smiled, every time their eyes met during a quiet moment, something in his chest fluttered. He had always been someone who let his music speak for him, but this time, it wasn’t enough just to express himself through lyrics. He needed to tell her, to be vulnerable in a way he hadn’t been with anyone before.
But how?
It was during a late-night studio session, after everyone else had left for the day, that Jihoon decided to do something about it. He had spent hours working on the song, tweaking the melody, perfecting the lyrics, and now it was ready.
The track wasn’t like anything he had made before. It was softer, more personal, and every note seemed to come straight from his heart. He had poured his feelings into it, capturing the emotions that he couldn’t say out loud. It was a love song. And the subject of it? None other than Y/N.
The next day, Jihoon invited Y/N to the studio under the guise of working on new material. She arrived, always eager to help or collaborate, but there was something different about Jihoon’s demeanor that caught her attention.
“What’s going on?” she asked as she walked into the studio. “You’ve been acting a little… off lately.”
Jihoon avoided her gaze, fiddling with the soundboard for a moment. “I… I have something I want to play for you.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow, curious. “A new song?”
He nodded, his throat tightening slightly. “Yeah. But it’s… different.”
Y/N walked over to him and sat down, her eyes fixed on him. “I’m all ears, Jihoon.”
Jihoon hesitated for a moment longer before hitting play. The soft, melodic intro filled the room, and Y/N was immediately drawn into the haunting beauty of the song. As the lyrics began, she felt a stirring in her chest. The song felt… personal. Deeply personal.
She listened intently, her heart racing as the chorus hit, and Jihoon’s voice filled the space:
“I didn’t know how to say it, but now I know it’s true, Every moment with you feels like I’ve found something new. In the silence, in the music, in the things I never said, I’m falling for you, I’m falling for you, And I can’t take it back.”
The song went on, each lyric pulling Y/N deeper into the emotions Jihoon had poured into it. By the end, the room was thick with the unspoken words hanging in the air. The music faded, and for a few moments, there was silence.
Y/N slowly turned to look at Jihoon, her eyes wide with realization. “Jihoon… that song…”
He swallowed hard, his voice barely above a whisper. “It’s for you.”
Y/N’s breath caught in her throat. She had known there was something between them, something that had grown over time, but hearing him express it so clearly, through music, felt like a confession she hadn’t expected.
“Jihoon…” she whispered, her voice trembling.
He finally met her gaze, his eyes vulnerable in a way she had never seen before. “I’ve been trying to ignore it, trying to tell myself I was just… overthinking. But every time you’re near, every time you smile, it feels like something more. I think… I think I’ve fallen for you, Y/N. And I couldn’t hide it anymore. Not after writing this song for you.”
Y/N’s heart raced as she processed his words, her own emotions swirling within her. She had felt it too—the connection, the way everything felt more meaningful when they were together. But hearing him say it out loud made it all so real.
She took a step closer, her voice soft but steady. “I’ve been feeling the same way, Jihoon.”
His eyes widened, and he took a step toward her as well. “Really?”
She nodded, a smile tugging at her lips. “I’ve been too afraid to admit it, but… I’ve been falling for you, too. Maybe I didn’t want to admit it because I didn’t know if you felt the same, but… I’ve never been more sure of anything.”
The tension that had built between them in the past few months suddenly lifted. Jihoon, overcome with relief and happiness, took her hand gently.
“Then… do you think we can figure this out together?” he asked softly.
Y/N smiled, her heart swelling. “I’d like that very much.”
For a moment, neither of them said anything else. The weight of the confession hung in the air, but the silence felt comfortable, like a shared understanding.
Jihoon squeezed her hand gently. “I don’t know what comes next, but I want to find out with you.”
Y/N nodded, her eyes shining. “Me too.”
And as they stood there, hand in hand, Jihoon knew that this song, the one that had started as a way to express his feelings, was just the beginning of a new chapter for them both.
For a few weeks, Jihoon and Y/N managed to keep their budding relationship under wraps. They weren’t intentionally hiding it, but neither of them was ready to face the whirlwind of teasing that would inevitably come from SEVENTEEN.
However, secrets rarely lasted long in a group as close-knit and nosy as SEVENTEEN.
It all started during a practice session. Jihoon had left his phone on the bench while the group worked through choreography, and a text from Y/N popped up on the screen:
Y/N: Can’t wait to see you tonight ❤️
Seungkwan, ever the observant one, noticed the notification first. “Oh? Hyung, care to explain this?” he asked, holding up the phone with a mischievous grin.
Jihoon froze mid-step, his face instantly turning crimson. “Give me that!” he snapped, rushing over to grab the phone.
But it was too late. Seungkwan had already shared the discovery with Hoshi and Jeonghan, who were now looking at Jihoon with matching expressions of glee.
“‘Can’t wait to see you tonight?’” Jeonghan teased, his tone dripping with mock innocence. “Jihoon, do you have plans we should know about?”
The rest of the group quickly caught on, gathering around as Jihoon struggled to come up with an excuse.
“It’s nothing,” he muttered, shoving his phone into his pocket.
“Nothing?” Hoshi said, raising an eyebrow. “Sounds like something to me.”
“It’s Y/N, isn’t it?” Mingyu blurted out. The room went silent for a moment as everyone processed the possibility.
Jihoon sighed, realizing there was no escape. “Fine. Yes. It’s Y/N. We’re… dating.”
The room erupted into chaos.
“What?!” Seungkwan exclaimed, looking both shocked and delighted. “When did this happen?”
“Jihoon, you sly fox!” Jeonghan said, clapping him on the back.
“You’re dating Y/N, and you didn’t tell us?” Dino pouted. “I thought we were close!”
Jihoon groaned, running a hand through his hair. “I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, okay? It’s still new, and we didn’t want any unnecessary attention.”
Joshua, ever the voice of reason, stepped in. “Guys, let’s not overwhelm him. It’s Jihoon, after all. This must’ve taken a lot for him to admit.”
“Yeah,” DK added, grinning. “But seriously, Hyung, we’re happy for you. Y/N’s great.”
“She’s not just great,” Minghao said thoughtfully. “She fits in with us, and most importantly, she brings out a side of you we don’t see often. It’s nice.”
Jihoon looked around at his members, their teasing replaced with genuine support, and felt a wave of relief. “Thanks, guys. Just… keep it low-key, okay? We’re not ready for everyone to know yet.”
The group collectively agreed, though Jihoon wasn’t sure he trusted their definition of “low-key.”
That evening, Jihoon met Y/N at their usual spot in the studio. She could tell something was different as soon as he walked in.
“What happened?” she asked, tilting her head.
“They know,” Jihoon said, sitting beside her.
“Who knows?”
“SEVENTEEN,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Oh no. How bad was it?”
Jihoon chuckled despite himself. “About as chaotic as you’d expect. But… they’re happy for us. They promised to keep it a secret, though I don’t know how long that’ll last.”
Y/N smiled, reaching over to take his hand. “Well, I guess it was bound to happen. They’re your family, Jihoon. And honestly, I don’t mind if they know. I like being part of your world.”
Jihoon squeezed her hand, his heart swelling at her words. “You’re more than just part of it, Y/N. You’ve made it better.”
The next day, when Y/N visited the dorm for dinner, the teasing resumed, but it was all in good fun.
“So, Y/N,” Jeonghan said with a sly smile, “what’s it like dating our Jihoon? Is he as romantic as he is in his songs?”
Y/N laughed, glancing at Jihoon, who looked like he wanted to disappear. “He’s perfect,” she said simply, her sincerity making Jihoon’s face flush even more.
The room erupted into cheers and playful jabs, but beneath the chaos, there was a palpable warmth. SEVENTEEN was more than a group—they were a family. And now, Y/N was part of that family, too.
As the night wore on, Jihoon couldn’t help but feel grateful. For his members, for their unwavering support, and most of all, for Y/N, who had somehow become the piece he hadn’t realized was missing from his life.
A few weeks after SEVENTEEN’s comeback promotions wrapped up, Jihoon surprised fans with the announcement of a solo track, titled “Only for You.” The anticipation was palpable, especially after fans connected the dots between the mysterious teasers and Jihoon’s recent duet with Y/N.
When the song finally dropped, it was an instant hit. A tender and emotional ballad, the lyrics told the story of someone realizing they’ve found the one person who completes them. Jihoon’s heartfelt delivery struck a chord with listeners, but eagle-eyed fans noticed something peculiar.
The release coincided with a few subtle interactions between Jihoon and Y/N on social media. Comments like:
“This song feels so personal… is it inspired by someone special?”
“The vibe reminds me of Jihoon and Y/N’s duet. Are we missing something?”
“Wait a second… some of these lyrics feel like they match things Y/N said in interviews!”
The speculation ramped up a notch when, only a few days later, Y/N teased her own solo track, “Echo of You.”
When Y/N’s song dropped, fans were quick to notice that it felt like a reply to Jihoon’s. While Jihoon’s track spoke of falling for someone who brought light into his life, Y/N’s lyrics told the story of being seen and loved for who she truly was.
Lines like:
“I thought I was just a shadow, but your light made me shine.”
“Every melody you wrote felt like a message just for me.”
Fans flooded social media with theories.
“Wait, these songs feel connected. Are they… about each other?”
“Woozi's ‘Only for You’ and Y/N’s ‘Echo of You’ are like two sides of the same love story.”
“If this is real, I’ll cry. They’re perfect together!”
The speculation reached its peak when a fan-made mashup of the two songs went viral, seamlessly blending the tracks into a duet that felt like it was meant to be.
Back at SEVENTEEN’s dorm, the members couldn’t help but join the buzz.
“So,” Seungkwan started, holding up his phone, “the fans are catching on.”
Jihoon groaned, slumping onto the couch. “I knew this would happen.”
“I mean, they’re not wrong,” Jeonghan said, smirking. “The songs do sound like they’re talking to each other.”
Y/N, who had been invited over for dinner, sat beside Jihoon, trying (and failing) to suppress her laughter. “It’s kind of impressive how quickly they picked up on it.”
Joshua leaned forward, grinning. “Are you two going to say anything? Or just let the fans go wild with their theories?”
Jihoon glanced at Y/N, his expression thoughtful. “What do you think?” he asked her.
Y/N smiled softly. “I don’t mind letting them wonder for now. I like that the songs are just ours, even if people are curious.”
The members all groaned in mock frustration.
“You’re both too private for your own good,” Mingyu teased. “Just admit it already and save us the headache!”
“Admit what?” Jihoon shot back, feigning innocence.
“That you two are the main characters in the greatest musical love story ever told,” Hoshi declared dramatically, earning laughter from the group.
Despite the teasing, Jihoon and Y/N decided to keep quiet, letting their music speak for them. The buzz around their songs only grew, with both tracks climbing the charts and becoming fan favorites.
During a live Q&A, Jihoon was inevitably asked about the inspiration for “Only for You.”
“It’s about someone who changed the way I see the world,” he said simply, his expression soft.
When Y/N was asked a similar question about “Echo of You,” she smiled knowingly. “It’s a song about gratitude and love—for someone who helped me realize my worth.”
The fans didn’t need anything more. To them, the connection between the songs—and their creators—was obvious.
One evening, as they sat together in Jihoon’s studio, Y/N turned to him with a playful smile. “So, do you think they’ve figured it out yet?”
Jihoon chuckled, shaking his head. “I think they know. They’re just waiting for us to say it out loud.”
“And when do you think we should?” she asked, tilting her head.
Jihoon thought for a moment before replying, his voice warm. “Maybe someday. But for now, I like that the songs tell our story. It feels… special.”
Y/N leaned closer, her hand resting on his. “I like that too.”
The weeks following the dual song releases were a whirlwind. Both tracks dominated the charts, and the fan theories only grew more elaborate. Mashups, fan edits, and endless analysis filled the internet, with fans piecing together subtle interactions and shared moments.
Despite their best efforts to stay under the radar, the buzz became too loud to ignore. SEVENTEEN’s members didn’t make it any easier, constantly dropping playful hints during interviews and live streams.
One day, Jihoon and Y/N found themselves at a joint event where multiple HYBE artists were present. It was a casual, live-streamed Q&A session, and the energy in the room was lively. Fans flooded the chat with questions about collaborations, their music, and, of course, the connection between Jihoon’s and Y/N’s songs.
The host, clearly aware of the buzz, decided to address the elephant in the room.
“So, Woozi-shi and Y/N-shi,” they began, a mischievous glint in their eye. “The fans have been talking nonstop about how your songs seem… connected. Care to comment?”
Jihoon, caught off guard, glanced at Y/N. She met his gaze with a small, encouraging smile, her eyes silently asking, Are you ready?
He hesitated for a moment before leaning into the mic. “Well,” he started, his voice calm but tinged with nervousness, “the fans aren’t wrong. The songs are connected.”
The room fell silent for a moment, everyone—including the other artists—hanging on his every word.
Y/N chimed in, her tone light but honest. “We didn’t plan for it to be a big mystery. We just wrote from our hearts. And, well… our hearts were in the same place.”
The host’s eyes widened in realization. “Wait, are you saying—”
Jihoon nodded, cutting them off gently. “Y/N and I… we’re together. And the songs were our way of telling that story without saying it outright.”
The room erupted into applause, cheers, and a few playful whistles from SEVENTEEN and the other HYBE artists. The fans watching the live stream went wild, the chat filling with messages like:
“I KNEW IT!”
“This is the best plot twist ever!”
“Our musical power couple!”
Later that evening, Jihoon and Y/N sat together backstage, scrolling through the flood of messages on social media.
“Looks like the fans are taking it well,” Y/N said, laughing as she read a particularly enthusiastic comment.
Jihoon smiled, his shoulders relaxing for the first time in weeks. “I guess I shouldn’t have worried so much. They seem… happy for us.”
Y/N leaned her head on his shoulder. “Of course they are. We’ve been honest in the best way we know how—through our music.”
Jihoon wrapped an arm around her, his voice soft. “I’m glad we finally said it. It feels good not to hide anymore.”
She looked up at him, her eyes shining. “Me too.”
As the weeks passed, their relationship became a beloved story among fans. Jihoon and Y/N didn’t share much beyond their music and occasional glimpses of their dynamic, but their authenticity resonated with everyone.
Their next collaboration—a duet explicitly written as a continuation of their story—became one of the most anticipated releases of the year, cementing their status as not just two incredible artists but as a couple who had found love in the heart of their shared passion.
And as Jihoon often said in interviews, with a small, knowing smile: “It all started with a song.”
The announcement of Jihoon and Y/N’s relationship didn’t just excite fans; it gave SEVENTEEN endless new material to tease their usually reserved member. And, of course, they weren’t going to let the opportunity go to waste during their next content shoot.
The group was filming an episode of their popular variety show, “GOING SEVENTEEN,” and the theme for the day was a mock courtroom trial where members had to defend themselves against outrageous (and often ridiculous) accusations.
As the camera rolled, Jeonghan smirked, ready to unleash chaos. “Today, I bring a serious accusation against Jihoon,” he began, standing dramatically as the self-appointed prosecutor.
Jihoon, sitting at the “defendant’s” table, raised an eyebrow. “What now?”
Jeonghan held up an imaginary piece of paper, squinting at it for effect. “Jihoon, you’ve been accused of… secretly writing love songs instead of working on group projects. How do you plead?”
The room erupted in laughter, with Seungkwan clapping his hands. “Guilty! We all know it’s true!”
Jihoon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Is this really necessary?”
“Yes!” Hoshi chimed in, his grin practically splitting his face. “We’ve all noticed you humming random melodies lately. Are those for us, or… someone else?”
The teasing didn’t stop there. As the trial continued, the members took turns “presenting evidence.”
Mingyu dramatically placed a notebook on the table. “Exhibit A: Jihoon’s lyric book. Do we need to open it to find the word ‘Y/N’ written a hundred times?”
Dino jumped in, mimicking an investigator. “Exhibit B: The way Jihoon smiles at his phone during breaks. Suspicious behavior if you ask me.”
Even the usually quiet Wonwoo joined in. “Exhibit C: The recent duet with Y/N. We all heard it. It’s basically a confession set to music.”
By this point, Jihoon’s face was a deep shade of red, though he couldn’t help but chuckle.
During a break in filming, Joshua leaned over to Jihoon. “You know, they’re only teasing because they’re happy for you, right?”
“I know,” Jihoon replied, a small smile tugging at his lips. “But they’re relentless.”
“Hey, it’s good content,” Joshua said with a wink. “The fans will love it.”
Later in the shoot, the tables turned when it was Jihoon’s chance to act as the judge. He banged the gavel dramatically. “I have an accusation of my own,” he announced, his tone firm but playful.
The members gasped in mock horror.
“I accuse SEVENTEEN of being the nosiest group in the industry,” Jihoon declared, pointing at them one by one. “Always prying, always teasing. How do you plead?”
“Guilty!” Seungkwan shouted, raising his hands in surrender. “But we do it out of love!”
Hoshi stood up, grinning. “Your Honor, I’d like to counter-accuse. Jihoon is guilty of smiling more these days. We all know the reason why.”
The room burst into laughter once again, and Jihoon couldn’t help but shake his head, a reluctant smile on his face.
As the shoot wrapped up, the director praised the group for their energy and humor. The episode, once edited, was full of golden moments that had fans laughing and cooing over SEVENTEEN’s antics.
And while Jihoon might have been the butt of the jokes, the camaraderie and genuine affection from his members shone through.
In the comments section of the uploaded episode, fans were quick to notice the playful dynamic:
“SEVENTEEN teasing Jihoon about Y/N is peak family energy!”
“Jihoon trying to act annoyed but secretly loving it is so cute.”
“The way they all support him in their own chaotic way makes me emotional.”
That evening, as Jihoon returned to his studio, his phone buzzed with a message from Y/N:
Y/N: Saw the episode preview. They’re so obvious, lol.
Jihoon smiled, typing back:
Jihoon: They’re impossible. But at least they’re on our side.
Y/N: Always. And so am I.
As he leaned back in his chair, Jihoon couldn’t help but feel grateful—not just for Y/N, but for the family he’d found in SEVENTEEN.
Even if they never let him live it down.

Hey there! Could I please request a soulmate au with liu zhigang? If youre cool with it id like it to be a soulmark au where you basically have a mark on your body that represents your soulmate
Key: For the soul mate mark on the reader, it will be twin blades with a cherry blossom flower behind it. The soul mate mark sits on her upper right arm.
For the soul mate mark on Liu Zhigang, it will be twin snakes, one black and one white, and a cherry blossom behind the snakes. The soul mate mark sits on his upper right arm as well.
How they know they are soulmates stems from the marks glowing and giving a gentle burning sensation to the skin when they are around their soulmates. All right, let's begin now that you know the basics!!
Little drabble, hope you enjoy it!! My brain was dying and I was really tired when I finished this!
Liu Zhigang was a hotshot hunter. He was the strongest in China and the second strongest worldwide. However, he hasn’t found his soulmate yet. Sitting in his chair, he sighed trying to figure out how he was going to find his soulmate. Shaking his head, he stood from the chair and grabbed his coat. “I’m heading to the little cafe at the end of the street. I’ll be back in a little bit.” Liu yelled to the servants who stood near the doorway of the room he had been occupying. He opened the door and walked out.
Y/n smiled as she flipped the sign to ‘open’. You sighed happily before heading to the register to get it up and running. You finished up the morning tasks before the first person showed up for their shift. “Thank you for coming in so early.” You said, the employee smiling at you and heading to the back to begin his morning tasks. You quickly pulled the chairs down from the table and wiped the table off before going back to the counter. You suddenly ran your fingers over the soulmate mark on your arm and sighed. ‘Maybe today will be different.’ You thought.
You were busy writing something down when you heard the bell over the door chirp. “Welcome in! What can I get started for you?” You asked, staring up at the tall, yet attractive male. As he moved closer, the mark on your arm began to slightly burn. Your eyes widened just as his eyes widened. He ripped off the sleeve over his right arm, showing her the mark on his arm. Your eyes widened and you gently lifted your sleeve and showed him your mark. The marks began to glow brighter the closer you and the man before you moved closer to each other.  You couldn’t believe your eyes. “Y-You’re my soulmate.” You said, pointing at the soulmate mark on his arm.
Liu Zhigang couldn’t believe his eyes. He had gone years without finding his soulmate and now, here he was, standing before his soulmate, working at a cafe he had constantly frequented. “Now that I know we are soulmates, could I trouble you for a date after you get off?” Liu asked the girl. He watched you blush but nod your head. “What’s your name?” He asked. “Y/n. Yours?” You asked back. “Liu Zhigang, China’s Strongest Hunter.” He said. You couldn’t believe you were the soulmate of someone as strong as him. After the biggest shock of your life, you took his order and delivered it to him when it was ready instead of calling his name. “Thank you,” he said, taking a sip of the drink he had gotten and sighed. You nodded your head and turned to go back to the desk but he gently grabbed your hand.
When you finally clocked out, you noticed Liu Zhigang standing near the entrance, his hands in his pockets, his hair loose and neatly done. You smiled, already falling in love with him. He noticed you walking towards him and held his arm out. You slipped your arm around his and held it as you both walked back to your apartment which wasn’t too far from where you worked. Upon entering the little apartment room, you quickly ran back to your room, walked in, closed the door, and started changing your clothing.
When you finally reemerged, Liu couldn’t keep his eyes off you. He took your hands in his and smiled at how good it felt to have someone holding his hands the way you were currently holding them. He was happy now. He hated the time he spent alone, thinking he never had a soulmate and fate was playing a cruel trick on him by giving him a soulmate mark. He led you out of your apartment and waited as you locked the door, before taking you to a carnival that was happening just a few blocks from your apartment.
You happily skipped in front of him as he watched you. He knew he was gonna spoil you even if you didn’t ask for anything. As the carnival came into view, Liu Zhigang watched as you made a beeline for the entrance, a bright smile on your lips. Liu couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face. Liu quickly paid for the tickets before you both entered into the carnival grounds. You grew giddy as you ran to look at the different rides that surrounded you and Liu. You and Liu Zhigang spent hours at the carnival, him trying to win you every stuffed animal in sight, making you giggle and cuddle the stuffed toys tightly.
As the sun began to set, Liu Zhigang took you back home. Standing in front of your door, you looked up at the man who was your soulmate and smiled softly. You stood on your tiptoes, tilting your head slightly, hoping he understood what you wanted. Liu Zhigang smiled and leaned down, your lips and his lips touching and sending a spark through your veins. When he pulled back, he looked to the side, pink covering the bridge of his nose. You giggled before pulling him into a hug.
“Thank you for tonight. I had so much fun.” You said, before releasing him from the hug and unlocking your door. “We should go on another date again.” You said, entering your house and closing the door behind you. Liu Zhigang stood there for a moment longer before a gentle smile appeared on his lips and he slowly walked away from the door, his fingers gently touching his lips as he recalled the kiss you two shared. ‘What a wonderful day it has been.’ He thought, walking back home, a little spring in his step.

Run
Run
Run
The only word circling your head. You were backstage, running as fast as you could to get away from four hungry men, chasing you like fresh meat. The Bloodline has had their eyes on you for a while now. They took notice on how you wrestled against the different female superstars. They have watched your every move. And now, they are hunting you down. But why?
You were so exhausted, barely able to catch yourself and you heard the twins call out for you.
“Mamas, there’s no need to run away!”
“Come on out, darling. You can’t resist us and you know it.”
You ignored their taunts and hid behind several crates, taking your chance to catch yourself. Panting from how much you ran, adrenaline spiked to a level you have never felt before. Noticing a small crack of light through the crates, you slowly made your way to it, peeking out to see if any members of The Bloodline were nearby. Not to your surprise, you see Jey and Solo standing nearby, talking about where they last seen you.
“I could’ve sworn she went that way.” Jey whined. “Do you know where she could be?”
Solo shrugged.
Jey sighed “Keep looking. I’m going to find the Tribal Chief and see what he says.”
That’s when your heart stopped. Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief. The Head of The Table. He was looking for you as well. He is usually patient when it came to getting what he wanted. He was an enigma when it came to that. It would feel scary to be in front him as he was your predator. If he were to find you, who knows what could’ve happened.
It was a game of chance, where you wouldn’t know what would happen if any of them found you. You quietly let a sigh of relief, after seeing the two figures walk away in separate directions, only to realize you were still hiding. You quickly held your breathe, trying to contain yourself from panicking, planning a way to escape and leave the arena. You slowly got up and left the crates, and started walking until you felt a pair of arms swoop you up.
“Found you, sweet thing.” It was Roman. He set you up on his shoulder and carrying you away from the crates. “Did you seriously think you could escape your Tribal Chief? How adorable.” He cooed.
You felt your heart beat fast. You were caught. You didn’t know what was going to happen to you. You were trembling on his shoulders, unaware as to why he wanted you in the first place. As Roman made his way to the other 3 men while carrying you, he was smiling, finally catching what’s been driving him wild.
“Damn Ro. Looks like you found her” Jimmy chuckled. The four men then went to take you to a car, opening one of the car doors and gently placing you in a seat. You couldn’t speak or do anything. You froze in fear, afraid of what they wanted.

You were brought to a hotel room, placed down on a bed with a blindfold covering your eyes so you couldn’t see what the Bloodline were doing. Your breath hitched feeling four hands gently exploring your body, not knowing that the twins were testing your limits – admiring how your body reacted to their fingers.
“Enjoying yourself, mamas?” Jimmy playfully asked you, feeling his hands grope your breasts. You felt your panties get damp from all the sensations you were feeling in that moment – your legs pathetically trying to close.
“Do you know why we were looking for you all night?” Jey chimed in, slowly making his way to your pants “You drive all of us mad – ever since you came here, you’ve made quite a name for yourself. The way you compete, the way you talk, hell, everything about you makes us hungry.” Your cheeks were warm to this reveal – You were too afraid to even come close to any member of The Bloodline. The way they took down every single opponent that dared to cross them, especially the Tribal Chief. You were craving for at least one member of the faction to fuck you braindead, probably never expected for something like this to happen. You lost your train of thought feeling a pair of lips going up your neck, making their way up to your ear.
“Tell us, Y/N” Jimmy whispered. “Aren’t you hungry for us too?” You gasped feeling him nibble on your ear as Jey began to take off your pants. “You don’t have to be shy.”
You were about to say something before you felt your top and bra come off, shivering from the air hitting your nipples. Jimmy hummed in approval before he started to tug them roughly.
“I…” You started to respond, taking a breath, “I am” The four men chuckle to this reveal.
“In that case, sweet thing.” You hear Roman tease. “Let us have our way with you." After those words were spoken, Roman took a seat, admiring the show as Solo stood beside him, hungrily watches how your body twitches with each gentle touch. Finally, Jey removes your pants to reveal a soaked cunt covered by a pair of panties, eagerly waiting to be used. He kept eye contact with you as he took your underwear off just waiting to see what he’ll do next.
“I think we know how this will go now, darling” Jey finally responded. “Don’t you agree, uce?” looking at his twin brother. “Oh certainly.” Jimmy added “Here, mamas spread your legs and relax.”
You spread your legs wide, allowing Jey to get a better view of your glistening cunt as he begins to hold your legs apart. “You look so delicious; I wonder what you taste like.” Jey growled. As you opened your mouth, you felt his warm tongue slide up and down your clit, not breaking eye contact watching as you melt in front of all four men while blindfolded only seeing pitch black. Jimmy began playing with your hard, sensitive nipples as he started to leave steamy kisses all over your neck. You whined from the sensations you were feeling, the steamy kisses, rough hands groping you, a warm tongue playing with your clit, sliding up and down. Roman smirked seeing you moan and whine, begging for more, feeling his bulge throb through his pants, trying his best to not pounce and do whatever he pleased to you.
“F-fuck!” You sobbed, shaking from Jey’s tongue going in and out of your pussy, your breast being played with and kisses being left all over. You felt like you were going to explode, feeling your stomach tighten from the sensations. “Please…”
“You’re going to cum, baby?” Jey teased as he stopped licking your pussy, allowing his fingers to circle your clit. “Come on, make a mess all over yourself. We want to see it.” You couldn’t take it anymore, “I-I need to- “
Before you could finish, your face was turned and you felt Jimmy kissing you roughly, muffling your moans and cries as Jey removes his fingers and plunges his tongue deep in your pussy again, Jimmy squeezing your tits hard and rough as he continues kissing you. As you finally hit your orgasm, you whined into Jimmy’s mouth, cumming all over Jey’s face, your legs trying to close. You could hear Roman chuckle as he watched you ride out your orgasm, Jimmy finally letting your mouth rest, a trail of spit following as well.
With a nod of approval from Roman, finally Jimmy took the blindfold off you – allowing you to see everything surrounding you as your clit throbbed for more attention.
“Ready for more, baby?” Jey asked you, taking his shorts off to reveal his hard cock. Your eyes widened, thinking to yourself how you’ll take it, or how it’ll fit in you. “Now now, mamas. Don’t forget about me either.” You turned your head to see Jimmy without his pants and boxers as well, your cheeks becoming warm. “Now turn over. Jey is going to fuck you while you suck me off.” You turn around to face Jimmy and position yourself on all fours. Making sure your pussy was exposed in front of Jey, you gasped feeling Jey position himself, slapping his tip onto your clit. “Easy doll.”
You cried out feeling Jey push himself into you, your clit throbbing from sensation. It was thick and a little painful, small tear forming in your eyes.
“Aww. Is Jey too much for you mamas? Here.” Jimmy teased, slapping his dick on your face before pushing it in your mouth. You began to adjust to Jey’s size, muffled moans escaping you while you began to bop your head up and down on Jimmy’s length. Jey starts to thrust slowly into you, making sure that you’re not in any pain. His thrusts began to slowly speed up, making your walls clench. Both twins groaning from how good you feel – Jimmy making you take every inch of him in your mouth, his hands grabbing your hair tight and pushing you down further, making you gag a bit. “Fuck, mamas.” Jimmy growled “Your mouth feels amazing.”
Jey chuckled giving you a hard slap across your ass, as his hips buck up with yours, “You like how I fuck your pretty cunt, baby? Do you want some more?” Your sounds were a mix of moaning and trying to grasp for air from how tightly Jimmy was using your hair as handle bars. God, you felt so full, finally getting what you craved for. Finally, being stuffed in a way you haven’t felt before. Both twins’ thrusts get harder and faster, making your stomach tighten again – slowly reaching your second orgasm of the night.
Your muffled moans were driving Roman crazy, waiting impatiently to fuck your brains out. Solo, who knows he’s next, has been watching how your body reacted to each thrust in your pussy and mouth – feeling his bulge get harder and harder with your soft cries and moans.
“Are you ready, baby? I’m going to cum soon – I’m going to fill your tight pussy with my cum.” Jey groaned, feeling his cock throb inside of you. “Me too, mamas? Are you ready for me to fill your mouth while you cum too?” Jimmy chuckled. You looked up to the eldest twin, nodding quickly with blurry eyes, feeling your stomach tighten. “Good girl”
With Jey picking up his pace, thrusting disgustingly faster, you whined feeling your stomach tighten even more, like a jack in the box.
“Get ready, doll”
You finally reached your orgasm, your muffled screams tighten your pussy as Jey thrusted one more time, - making his seed explode deep in you. Jimmy pushes your face down, his cum going to the back of your throat, growling as all three of you ride out an orgasm. Jimmy slowly pulls his cock out of your mouth, allowing your lungs air while Jey slowly pulls out of you, your pussy leaking with his cum and throbbing from the roughness. Your entire body shaking from how hard you came this time. Jimmy gently lifts your face up with his finger, giving you hot kisses all over your lips “That was amazing, mamas. You did so so well. Now it’s Solo’s turn – Be good okay?” You nodded as he gotten up, pulling his pants back up and giving you another kiss.
Jey gives you a gentle slap on the ass again, as he also gets up and puts his pants back on. “I’m so proud of you, doll.” He turns your face to meet his and gives you a sweet little kiss before he leaves with his twin out of the room.
Your breaths were hoarse, your abused throat made it hard for you to get more air. You looked and see Solo and Roman look at you with full amusement. Roman gives a gesture to Solo, allowing him to have his turn playing with you.
As Solo gotten closer to you, he gets his pants off, his dick poking through his boxers. Your brain still foggy from your previous orgasm, you look into his eyes with pure lust – You can’t wait for what he wanted to do to you.
“Ready for more, princess?” he asked, his hand reaching down to your clit, sliding his finger up and down. You whine from how sensitive your cunt was – you could already feel how wet you were getting again. “Answer me.”
“Ye…Yes.” You replied, wanting Solo to abuse your holes. He smiled and puts his tongue into yours, having a hot and steamy kiss session – Feeling his fingers play with your clit a little faster. He was amused with the way you whine and cry for his fingers to go inside your walls - still throbbing from Jey. “Good. Now lay on your back.” He chuckled removing his fingers from your sensitive hole. You were getting impatient, laying on your back against the soft pillows, spreading your legs. Solo’s eyes were full of hunger and lust for you as he removed his shorts. Your clit throbbed from the sight of his hard, thick cock – just ready for him to make you cum again. Solo positioned himself, slapping himself on your cunt, trying his best not to push himself all the way in you.
Without warning, he slowly pushes himself into you, growling from how wet you were, your whines making your walls tighten – He was incredibly thick. You felt like his cock would poke through your stomach. He gently grabs your throat, squeezing a bit as he thrusts into you, your choked cries making him go harder. “Fuck, princess. You’re taking me so well.” His praises make you look into his eyes begging for him to go faster.
“Y-You’re so big! I’ll cum too fast” You moaned, loving how rough he was thrusting into you – forgetting that Roman was next, you felt your stomach tighten scared of what he’ll do to you. As Solo pushed in and out of you, he burrowed his face onto one of your tits, roughly sucking your nipple as his grip gotten a little tighter on your neck.
“You’re gonna cum again, Princess? I know you want to.” Solo groaned, knowing he was getting close from being rough with you, lifting his face away from your tits and seeing your eyes roll back. You were trying to make sentences but your stomach kept getting tighter. This was exactly what you wanted. “I’m trying not to cum too fast. You’re so tight and needy. You’re doing so good.” He released his grip on your neck and intertwined his fingers with yours, your other hand touching his face.
“I.. I need to cum!” You sobbed, small tears forming from how rough Solo’s thrusts were – his fat cock continuously hitting your sensitive spots. “Yeah? You wanna cum? Cum with me, princess. I got you.” He teased as his thrusts get sloppy – knowing he was holding back from releasing his cum in you.
You let out a high-pitched scream, as you came all over Solo’s cock, one last thrust before his seed burst in you, your vision only seeing white. You knew exactly what was about to happen next. After riding out your orgasm, Solo pulled out of you and leaned in to kiss you deeply, his fingers playing with your hair. “Fuck, princess…You drained me. Let me fix you up.” He gently lifted you up, making sure you weren’t hurt or anything before he kissed you again. Your eyes turned to see a sexually frustrated Roman, sitting in his chair, looking directly at you. You knew he was going to be the roughest with you. Solo then got up, putting his pants, and fixing himself back up.
After he left, you slowly turned to Roman. The Samoan man cocked his head to the side, admiring how your breath hitched from how many rounds of sex. Your pussy still throbbing and leaking cum. He enjoyed seeing how your face looked, hungry for whatever he wanted to do to you. Your stomach dropped when Roman finally got up from his chair making his way toward you.
“Come here.” He motioned for you to get closer on the edge of the bed. Without hesitation, you crawled up to him, your eyes looking into his. He smiled, admiring how exhausted you looked, your hair all messy. “Look at you, still horny after two rounds. You’re a dirty slut, aren’t you?” his words with a sexual undertone. Your cheeks were warm to his degrading. His rough hands exploring your body as you shivered from his touch. You wondered what he might do to you. Noticing his large bulge on his pants, you slowly reached for it. He took noticed and chuckled. “Go ahead, babygirl.”
With his approval, you slowly pulled down his pants, revealing his huge, veiny cock. Your mouth watered from the sight in front of you. You stuck your tongue out and gave soft kitty licks to his tip, he grabbed a handful of your hair and pushed your head further down his shaft. You gagged from how big he was, your pussy throbbing for some attention. While sucking him off, your fingers made its way to your clit, making small circles around your pearl – a wave of goosebumps hitting your back. Your muffled moans and grasps for air turned him on. He was amused to how tiny you looked under him.
“That’s right, baby. Take every inch of my cock.” Roman muttered, admiring the way you kept your eyes on him while your lips were around his cock. You could feel yourself getting wetter to his words, your throat being abused over and over. His praises made you throb with impatience, just begging for him to be inside of you.
His grip tightening around your hair and pushing your head down even more, making you gag from his thick length.
You felt so unclean – rubbing circles on your clit, desperate to slip a finger in your walls, sucking every inch of him and not breaking eye contact. You wanted to please him. Your cheeks were warm as he thrusted in your mouth, his tip hitting the back of your throat. Your gags made him want to force his seed down your throat. But he had another idea. What seemed like an eternity, he ripped his cock out of your mouth.
You choked, pouting that he didn’t fill your mouth with his seed. Roman placed his grip on your throat – he loved seeing you beg for his attention, beg for him to use you the way he wanted. “Impatient, are we?” He mocked how you wanted more with a flirtatious tone. You wouldn’t dare to speak.
He chuckled and in that second, he swiftly picking you up, taking a seat on the bed, and set you down on his lap, aligning his cock to your pussy – You gasped feeling his tip slowly stuffing you, adjusting yourself before he pushed his whole length into you. “Oh fuck..” You cried, wrapping your arms around him as he stretched you out, “I know, babygirl.” His words made you clench – making you fight the urge to cum right there on the spot.
His hand placed on your hip, the other grabbing your ass cheek as he began to thrust in you, deep, slow strokes to let you adjust to his size. You tightened your arms around him, holding him tightly as waves of pleasure hit your body. His gaze on your face – he loved how your faces looked while he stuffed you of him, your mouth open with your tongue out. Your breasts jiggling from each bounce on his cock. He loved how you melted for him – how you craved for him.
“You’re so cute like this, baby. The way you melt from how I fuck you. Is that what you’ve wanted for sometime now? Come on. Tell me how bad you wanted this.” His words muffled from your chest. Your breath was shaky, moaning from how he hit your spot everytime he thrusted into you.
“So bad…” You whined. Wanting him to go faster, You could feel your orgasm coming soon.
“Good girl. For now on, you’re going to be my little toy. Only I can touch you and fuck you like this. Understood?” He ordered, tightening his grip around you and thrusting faster.
“Ye-Yes Ro-“
“Yes what, baby. Say it correctly.”
“Yes…D-Daddy..”
“Good girl.”
You throw your head back, not realizing that you signed yourself with him, to be his to use, to make others aware that you belong to him. But you didn’t care. You craved for him to use you like this, for him to hunt you down like this, to be his prey. Your stomach started to tighten as he lifted his head up and kissed your roughly – the sensations you were feeling in this moment made you not want it to stop. You wanted him to keep fucking you like this, you wanted him to make it known to everyone that you’re only his.
“You feel so good, babygirl. You’re taking me so well.”
His praises made you whimper, getting desperate to cum all over his cock. Swiftly, He laid back making his cock stuff you further.
You sobbed into the crook of his neck as his thrusts get faster and sloppier, knowing he was going to cum soon. He felt so good inside of you, you were begging for him to cum in you. You whined when you felt him deliver a harsh slap on your ass and gripping it tightly. You dug your nails into him from how rough he was with you.
“Daddy’s got you, babygirl. Fuck you feel so good.” He growled, knowing he was getting close too. You felt yourself getting closer.
“I-I need to cum! Please, daddy. I need to- “You moaned, your legs beginning to shake. “I know, babygirl.” He growled, admiring the way you were holding back.
You screamed as you came undone on him, your eyes rolling back from the sensation, Roman following behind as he held you tightly as he came, emptying his seed inside of you. His dark chocolate eyes staring into your face – his lips quick to meet with yours and leaving hot kisses all over your face.
“Holy shit…” He groaned, keeping his cock in you as you rode out your orgasm. You and Roman were breathing heavily from the intense round of sex. Your eyes never leaving his before he kissed you again.
“You’re mine now.”

Summary: Will comes home from doing a stint of talks and his only priority is getting his fill of you, your time apart making him need you in the worst way.
A/N: I've been listening to this song on repeat and needed to write about it, and the character I felt that fit it the best was our Captain Miller. We'll consider this a little early birthday treat to myself, I was going to wait until Tuesday to post it but I'm too excited! A big thank you to @spaghettificationandpretzels for making me the beautiful banners to use!

---
In the grand scheme of things, five days was a blink compared to the amount of days he’d been away from you before, but as he drew closer to being home, Will’s impatience to get there was becoming nearly unbearable.
He adjusted his grip on the steering wheel, the leather feeling cool to his palm that was hot from his eagerness and holding it in the same spot for too long now, glancing at his watch on his wrist where he calculated he had exactly two hours and fifty-three minutes left until he would pull in the driveway.
Each day had been the same; driving from base to base all along the coast from Tampa to Houston, waking up in an uncomfortable motel bed he tried hard not to think about how many other people had laid in doing god knows what, and giving his memorized speech to a different room full of candidates considering signing on to be part of the Special Forces.
It was all automatic by now, having said the same words one hundred and ninety-two times, his mind able to drift off to what you were doing as he spoke without a second thought, wondering if you were making coffee in the kitchen wearing just his hoodie and your underwear, or if you were cleaning the house, feeling jealous of your fingers grazing over every surface and all the belongings that made up your home.
He imagined your smile; greeting the cashier warmly as you placed groceries onto the belt from the cart, grinning as you said thank you to the older gentleman who held the door open for you as you left the store, and knowing he was so close to seeing it for himself again kept him hanging on to get through each long day without you.
Late night video calls and texts sent between lectures helped carry him through, feeling grateful to at least have that compared to what little communication he would have when he was deployed, a crooked grin tugging his lip up as he thought to your last video call from the night before; both of you laying naked in your separate beds, touching yourselves in ways that were instructed by the other, the sounds of your moans brought on by your own hand still repeating in Will’s mind now.
He adjusted in his seat, his right foot pressing on the accelerator with slightly more pressure, the need to get home and have you increasing to a level he couldn’t tolerate anymore than he already had.
Rain started speckling on the windshield, a few drops at first before turning into a steady fall, the streams of it on the glass reminding him of all the showers you had solo in his absence, feeling envious of the water running down your skin and every curve, imagining you slipping into your bedsheets with drops still clinging to you and marking the cotton with darker spots.
Will wondered if it was raining at home, too, if you were sitting on the porch watching it pour, always loving the sound of the rolling thunder and the tapping of each drop on the roof, or if the skies were clear as the sun started to go down, picturing the pinkish-orange light casting on your skin to make it glow in its golden hour.
With a sigh, he rubbed his hand on the back of his neck, accepting that no matter how much he continued to dream about you, it wouldn’t bring him any closer to home any faster, accepting that he had to live through each of these minutes in full until he was able to have his hands on you again.
With the sun now tucked behind the horizon and the ground saturated with water, Will slammed the door to his truck, leaving his bags in the back seat to get tomorrow, nothing more important than getting inside the house and getting his hands on you.
His boots ground against the wet pavement as he took purposeful strides to reach the front door, quickly inserting the key into the deadbolt and unlocking it, the smell of home and of you filling his nose as soon as he turned the handle and stepped inside.
Before he could close the door behind him, you walked around the corner from the hallway leading to your bedroom, your smile making his heart leap in his chest as you locked eyes with him.
You rushed into his arms, your body warm and soft, the feel of your hands carding up his back making goosebumps break out on his skin. You both peeled away from each other slightly, exchanging a look that spoke more than words could before crashing your lips together, a shared moan transferring between your mouths as the desperation you both felt finally set in.
Will kicked the door shut with his foot, making it slam so hard the walls shook, his hands tearing to get to your form that was covered by an oversized t-shirt and quickly discovering that was all you had on.
He growled against your lips, his hands squeezing your bare ass and spreading your cheeks slightly, feeling you press your hips forward into his in a silent request for more.
Your chest rubbed against his body, the tight fit of his polo allowing him to feel how hard your nipples were through both of your shirts, your arousal clearly having built up as much as his had in anticipation of his arrival.
He felt drunk with lust, his senses working primally as everything about you made him feral, your scent and touch breaking him down to be nothing more than a man who needed his woman in the most raw and cardinal way.
Will grabbed at the hem of your shirt and ripped it up and off of you, his hand gripping your jawline when he met you in another claiming kiss, hearing your breathy moan die out in his mouth.
He forced himself to stop, his chest heaving as he broke the seal of your lips, seeing yours already puffy from his beard chafing against them and wet from his kiss.
You looked heavenly standing before him; naked and stunning, equally as vulnerable as you were strong, your frame small in the shadow of his. But what made him feel powerful was the love and lust held in your eyes, your heavy gaze consenting for him to take you how he needed, knowing you craved him as much as he did you as you shifted on the spot you stood, squeezing your thighs together while arching your back so your chest stook out.
A crooked, half-smile dressed his lips as he took a step toward you again, backing you up against the wall and shoving his thigh between your legs, watching with complete satisfaction as you closed your eyes at the feel of your bare sex contacting the rough denim of his jeans.
He dipped his head and latched onto your neck, sucking and nipping at your tender skin, making you squirm against him and begin to ride his thigh, his hand slapping the painted drywall beside your head.
His fingers dug into the flesh on your hips with his other hand, clawing at you in a way he knew might leave bruises but that you also loved, aiding your movements on him as you ground back and forth.
“Will…” you whined, his name the only word uttered between you so far, the sound of it coming off your tongue so desperately in combination with how your hands clawed at his shoulders encouraging him to kiss your neck even more and press his leg up harder against your core.
His mouth traveled upward along your throat and under your chin, pulling your earlobe with his teeth before making his way back to your lips, growling when your hands ran over his straining cock in his jeans and then tugged at his shirt to untuck it from his waist.
He lifted his arms for you to whisk it over his head, returning to your mouth instantly while your soft hands smoothed over his bare chest, his skin feeling like it was lit on fire wherever your palms had laid.
You worked next on his belt, the sound of the metal clanking undone and then his zipper sliding open almost lost in the wet smack of your lips, your fingers sliding behind his back to pull his jeans along with his boxer-briefs down over his ass. They fell at his feet and he stepped out of them as quickly as he could, holding your face in his hands to try to keep you near him, but feeling you sink away from him as you dropped to your knees.
The look in your eyes as you stared up at him made his cock throb even more, and when you took it in your hand and stroked it while bringing your lips to the tip, he knew he couldn’t go a second longer without being inside you, having you take him in your mouth not even enough to sate his need.
Will knelt in front of you, grabbing your face again as he kissed you hard, leaning his body forward to guide you back to lay you down beneath him.
Spread out beautifully for him, he covered you, his cock finding your entrance without assistance, and with the slight movement of his hips, he pushed inside your wet hole and stretched you out.
Your cry was suffocated by his tongue, your back arching off the floor as you succumbed to his size, and Will allowed no time for you to adjust, pulling out of you before slamming back in again.
His thrusts were powerful and unbroken, determined to give you everything you needed while taking from you everything he could, his pleasure controlling all of him and blinding any restraint he had left.
You met him with equal fervor, rolling your hips with his with a similar goal in mind, chasing what only he could provide you, feeling you get wetter by the second and already soaking his dick and groin.
Will held onto you tight, nearing his end, his hands grabbing at any part of you he was able to keep you as close to him as he could while he hammered into you, your cunt clenching around him in a way he knew that signalled you were about to come apart too.
Your nails scratched his back wildly, muscles tensing and straining in both of your bodies as you rode through your climaxes, Will continuing to pump in and out of you frantically as he coated your walls and filled you completely.
Feeling you contract around him again, he didn’t relent, fucking you more with all he had left as a second orgasm took hold of you, the feel of his cum leaking out of you extending your high in the most addicting way.
His panting breaths filled your mouth as your kisses began to slow, feeling you relax under him as he settled his pace until he eventually stilled in you, his hand smoothing over your forehead where he looked at you smiling sweetly at him after he’d peeled his face away from yours.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he purred, finally giving you a proper greeting.
You giggled softly, your finger tracing the crease beside his mouth. “Welcome home, Will.”

Chapter 25 [Draft]
Sung Jinwoo/Trial Player!Reader
Content Warnings: The last scene (Igris p.o.v.) contains some elements of gore—this is a work of fiction and I do not condone or glorify violence in real life.

"(Name)?"
Jinwoo’s voice pulled you back to reality, the ethereal images of your mindscape dissipating into the humid air of the jungle. The ghost of a father’s warmth vanished entirely, leaving behind an ache that felt too deep to name.
Under a canopy of branches and leaves shielding you from most of the rain, you sat perched on the uprooted trunk of a tree, the poor thing yet another victim of the battle that had raged mere moments ago. Its splintered roots protruding like skeletal fingers.
Your gaze trailed over the battlefield, past the litter of corpses sprawled across the muddy ground. The heavy downpour diluted the blood pooling in the soil, streaking crimson rivers through the uneven terrain. The dungeon’s boss laid lifeless in the background, and the shadow soldiers wordlessly harvested magic cores from the fallen. Even with the restrictions of a Red Gate, they worked tirelessly, ensuring nothing of value was wasted.
The quiet crunch of footsteps tore your eyes away, lifting your head just in time to see Jinwoo approaching.
"Ah, done already?" you asked, forcing out something that barely passed as casual. The scepter in your hand dissolved into the usual flurry of tiny luminous butterflies, the warm glow flickering briefly before vanishing entirely, tucked away in your pocket space of an inventory.
Jinwoo said nothing at first. He simply plopped down next to you on the fallen trunk, shoulders brushing against yours. The words were forming on your tongue before you even realized it.
“Jinwoo, I—”
Jinwoo’s eyes widened and he instantly caught you before you could completely double over, his hands steadying you by the shoulders.
“Hey…” He whispered worriedly when he saw your scrunched up expression, your lips glued tight.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” His voice was slow, careful, as though afraid that saying too much would only overwhelm you further. However, his expression darkened when he saw how your hand instinctively shot up, pressing lightly against your neck.
{The meeting with character < Sung Il-Hwan > cannot be shared.}
“It’s the system again, isn’t it?”
You nodded pitifully, eyes squeezing shut against the growing discomfort.
Jinwoo didn’t like this. Didn’t like seeing you in pain. Didn’t like seeing you hurt. The vulcan incident was a dead giveaway.
His grip on your shoulder unconsciously tightened, his fingers pressing down just a little too hard.
You flinched—just barely, just a small, involuntary reaction—but it was enough. Jinwoo’s body tensed, the barely-contained wrath inside him threatening to spill over.
He inhaled sharply.
Exhaled.
Pulled back just slightly, loosening his grip, his thumb instead beginning to trace light, soothing circles against your arm. Slowly, your breath steadied.
And yet—
When you lifted your gaze to meet his, the guilt was plain in your eyes.
That was when Jinwoo truly felt it. The unmistakable churn of fury rising in his chest.
Why?
Why were you looking at him like that?
“Sorry—"
“Stop.”
Without hesitation, his hands slid to your waist, pulling you into him. The movement was fluid, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, as if this was simply where you were meant to be.
Your heart lurched at the sudden proximity, but Jinwoo only exhaled, resting his head against your shoulder.
He sought warmth.
Not just any warmth—yours.
The warmth that had always been there, always within reach, grounding him in a way nothing else could.
And how funny, really.
Here he was, seeking comfort from the very person he was supposed to be comforting.
Because he knew—he knew that if he let his frustration take over, if he allowed his rage at the system’s interference to boil over, it would only hurt you more. And that was the last thing he wanted.
"Whatever it was that you were going to say, stop." he murmured into your shoulder, voice quieter now, "The fact that you still, always, try to tell me first—even when you can't in the end—is enough."
You fell silent at his words, thoughts hidden in depths of your mind.
Before you, the system’s interface flickered to life, displaying a tally of the experience points earned from your support during the raid. You ignored it, choosing instead to focus on the feeling of Jinwoo’s breath against your skin, his damp hair brushing against your neck.
Without thinking, you shifted slightly, tilting your head just enough to allow him more space. Your hand found its way to his back, resting there in a quiet gesture of reassurance.
The sound of rain filled the silence between you.
And then—
You hummed.
A quiet melody, soft and familiar, barely rising above the rhythmic patter of water against leaves.
“That tune,” he murmured slowly. “You’ve sung it to me before.”
You blinked.
“I did?”
The memory surfaced before you could even search for it.
A bleeding hunter in the abandoned corner of a dungeon.
His head resting on your lap as you healed his wounds.
“…Oh.” Realization dawned. “I guess I did.”
“Wait.” Your head turned to him, the motion almost robotic, though the position only allowed you to see his dark strands. “You were conscious?”
A slow, almost sheepish exhale.
"Barely."
There was a pause. Then, so quietly you almost missed it—
“You have a nice voice.”
Heat crawled up your spine before you could stop it.
Jinwoo shifted slightly, and the gesture was like he was nuzzling into you.
"What song is it?" Jinwoo asked, as if nothing had happened. "I can’t find it anywhere."
Your lips parted slightly.
"You searched for it?"
“Scoured.”Your heart tripped over itself when Jinwoo felt the need to emphasize. "I thought finding the song was the closest I could get to hearing you again."
“I—” Gosh. Did Jinwoo even realized how adorable he was being?
"It’s a song I also heard in passing… Can’t remember exactly where." A small, hesitant pause. “Maybe it just stuck with me.”
It was a song from your world.
“Mm.” Jinwoo scooted closer, if that was even possible. The front of his chest was already pressing flush against yours.
“Can you sing it again for me?”
Wow. Just… wow.
“Please?”
You yielded.
Your lips parted—
And you began to sing.
-----
Jinwoo’s gaze followed your hovering finger over the golden screen, observing as you clicked a dotted button. A new page overlaid the main menu.
“That’s new.”
“Nope.” You popped the letter ‘p’-sound. “It’s my second, and apparently the last, ascension quest.”
You scrolled through the <Final Ascension>’s list, skimming past the check-marked objectives: <Reach Level 200 – (200/200)> and <Ascend your summons to the final stage and maxed out their level – (8/3)>.
At the bottom of the page, an entry caught Jinwoo’s attention:
{ 3rd Requirement: ???
Progress: ---
Status: ---
Note: The last requirement will be revealed in due course as you continue your journey. }
“That’s vague.” Jinwoo huffed.
You just let out a sigh, flicking the interface away with a gesture. “Your <Key to Cartenon Temple> wasn’t exactly clear-cut either. At least the system isn’t playing favorites this time.”
His lips quirked into a brief smile, but it faded as you continued. “Besides, it’s not the first time the system’s pulled something like this. That first ascension quest was in the middle of our fight with Baran—”
You stopped mid-sentence as you felt Jinwoo stiffen beside you. The angle still prevented you from seeing his face fully, leaving only the top of his head and the curve of his ears in view. His sudden rigidity made your chest tighten.
“Jinwoo?” you asked gently, concern lacing your tone.
He didn’t respond, merely shifting closer, as close as possible, to ground himself in this quiet moment with you.
You lifted a hand to pat his cheek lightly, coaxing him to lift his head. When he did, you brought your other hand up, cradling his face gently. Leaning forward, your forehead pressed softly against his, your gazes locking for a moment before his shifted to where your hand rested against his skin.
“That time,” he murmured, voice low, “the black marks…”
You understood immediately.
“They were the result of contamination in the mana flow,” you explained, your tone calm and matter-of-fact. “Even after I managed to filter it out using the flowers, there were remnants left behind.”
It truly broke your heart when he tried not to flinch, eyes snapping to yours so briefly before looking at your hand again, while his voice held a note of incredulity, mixed with something deeper—hurt, perhaps. “You knew?”
“That absorbing it would cause my body to shut down? Not quite.” You admitted. “While I suspected something might happen, I didn’t anticipate the accumulation having such an effect. On our first trip there, the black marks on my hands didn’t do anything.”
Sensing the protest forming on his lips, you instantly added, “Precisely because they didn’t show any effect, I didn’t consider it urgent enough to mention.”
There were more important things to worry about—was what you thought, remembering his mother.
Jinwoo’s lips fell into a thin line, jaw tight.
"I made a promise to protect you."
“And you did,” you replied firmly, your thumbs brushing against his cheeks. “The best you could.”
You wasted the <Holy Water of Life> on me.
You didn’t remember it being mentioned that Jinwoo used all six of the elixir in the original story, only thrice. So, at the very least, you could rest easy knowing that you didn’t take the life of some character meant to be cured via that one bottle you had consumed.
“Not enough.” His eyes darkened, frustration seeping into his tone. “If I were stronger—”
“Would you say I’m a deadweight, then?” you interrupted, your voice sharper than intended.
His gaze shot up, horrified. "No! Why would you—"
“Because my powers are essentially halved—can even be less than half—in places like that.” Your gaze bore into his, unyielding. “I can’t change that. Neither could you.”
Your voice echoed faintly in the rain-drenched jungle, and his mouth opened, but no words came out. Instead, he bit his lip. His expression remained a storm of emotions—guilt, frustration, and a lingering vulnerability he seldom let surface.
“Jinwoo,” you said softly, your tone more tender now, “you’re doing more than enough.”
His lips parted as though to argue again, but you stopped him. “I was the one who decided to trust the system and go through with it.” Your voice steady despite the storm of emotions swirling within. “It was a risky, split-second decision, yes, but it was worth a try to hijack Baran’s mana reserve.”
You would’ve succeeded even without my help—you wouldn’t doubt yourself like this if I’m not here.
“The system wouldn’t have given me the quest if completing it meant I would die, remember?” You tilted your head slightly, meeting his conflicted gaze. “If it didn’t need me anymore, it would’ve left me alone instead.”
Strange... ̶̧͗ ̶̖̫̔̾ ̵̧͗̊h̷̺̆̅ȯ̴͓̥̆w̵̘̿̒ ̵̫̂͘ͅc̴͍̼̃́o̷͔͉͑̓ȗ̵̯l̸̯̊d̸̘̫̊͘ ̸̫͓̏I̴͖̻͗̓ ̴̮̱͊̉b̶̤̝͌̀e̶̯̦͆͝ ̸͚̓͂s̴̖͝o̷̮̍ ̷̢̆s̸̗͙̾ṷ̸̜̓r̵̞͌e̴̹̽͜ ̵̣̇ͅȏ̵̰͎͝ḟ̵̪̤ ̷̣̯̈t̵̥͑h̸̝͌͋a̴̝͋́͜t̴̨̯̓?̶̩͆
{ . . . }
Jinwoo’s hands clenched faintly in his lap.
“We don’t know exactly what would’ve happened.” And you pushed aside the intrusive thought. “We don’t know how much it would take.”
“Jinwoo.” You gazed upon those kind, caring, stormy greys. Offering a small smile, gentle and reassuring. "We're in this together."
Don’t blame yourself.
The silence between you thickened, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. His eyes searched for answers in yours, and whatever he saw seemed to soothe the storm within. You watched as the tension in Jinwoo’s face began to melt away. The faint crease in his brow smoothed out as he exhaled a long sigh. The tight line of his lips softened into the faintest of smiles. The frustration that had etched itself into his features ebbed away like the receding tide. The weight on his shoulders seemed to lift slightly as he brought his hands to rest atop yours, still cupping his cheeks.
His skin felt somewhat cool against yours, a contrast to the warmth radiating from your palms. His fingers curled lightly over your own, as if anchoring himself to you, unwilling to let go just yet. Then, he closed his eyes, his expression becoming more relaxed, almost serene.
It was a rare sight—Jinwoo letting his guard down entirely. The tension that so often coiled within him like a tightly wound spring had loosened. He looked utterly vulnerable yet so at peace. There was something heartbreakingly endearing about it, the way he melted into your touch with such quiet trust.
A soft giggle almost escaped you; the sight was just too adorable. His usual guarded demeanor giving way to something boyish and sweet. The great and mighty Sung Jinwoo, leaning into your hands like a content cat basking in the sun. The temptation to tease him was strong, your palms pressing lightly against his cheeks in jest, but before you could act, he opened his eyes.
What greeted you made your breath catch.
His half-lidded gaze was heavy, made his pupils seemed dilated, irises that ethereal shade of bright blue. The droopy edges made him look drowsy, lazy, yet his focus was unwavering, almost hypnotic. There was a strange, dazed quality to his expression, as though he’d been lulled into a rare state of peace, so utterly content that he hovered on the edge of slumber, yet fought to stay awake, unwilling to look away and miss even a second of the sight before him.
It was as if the only thing tethering him to the present, the only thing he wanted to see in that moment—was you.
And oh, how that look did something to you.
A rush of warmth spread through you, feeling as if your body might catch fire. You instinctively tried to pull away, head leaning back just enough to create some distance, desperate for an escape. But before you could retreat entirely, Jinwoo’s hands tightened gently over yours, keeping them firmly in place.
Your eyes darted away, hoping to regain your composure, desperate for a distraction. They landed on the littering corpses of magic beasts scattered across the muddy ground. Before you could utter a single word in your attempt to change the subject—
“You don’t need to ask for permission,” Jinwoo beat you to it, his tone soft but certain. “They’re your spoils as much as they are mine.”
Your head snapped back to him, and you instantly regretted it.
Why? No, not just because of the whiplash you were experiencing. But also, because he was still looking at you like you were his haven. Achingly tender, almost worshipful. His gaze hadn’t softened; if anything, it had grown heavier, more intoxicated on you.
You thought this would end when he closed his eyes, but then he proceeded to shift his head just slightly to the side, tugging on your hand with just enough force to bring it closer. His lips brushed lightly against the inside of your palm, unhurried, halting your thoughts.
Then, with deliberate care, he pressed a soft, lingering kiss to your wrist, right above the spot where your pulse thrummed. Jinwoo took his time as though savoring the contact, the faint rhythm beneath his lips. When he finally lifted his gaze, glowing eyes locked onto yours once again.
A shiver ran down your spine.
Dangerous.
“Mother.”
You jolted, your hands yanking back so quickly you feared you might have pulled Jinwoo along with them, or worse, accidentally scratched him in your haste. Relief washed over you when you realized you hadn’t, ignoring the brief glimpse of disappointment in his grey eyes. As you cradled your hands against your chest, your fingers instinctively brushed over the spot he had kissed.
The palpable pulse was louder now, faster under your fingertips.
“Sire.”
Your head turned to see Red standing nearby, her posture straightening from a curtsy after greeting Jinwoo as well.
Jinwoo nodded in acknowledgment, though you didn’t dare look at him again. Instead, you made the discreet gesture of fanning yourself with one hand, trying to cool the rising heat out of view. Your other hand remained pressed against your chest, feeling your drumming heartbeat as it slowly steadied.
That was too much.
Red’s perceptive gaze lingered on you, and you couldn’t help but feel grateful for her timely interruption. This composed child of yours had always been uncannily the most attuned to you among the others.
“Mother, may we begin <The Feast> ?” Red’s calm composure betrayed nothing, her tone remained measured, though the knowing glint in her eyes suggested she had seen enough.
My sweet, sweet child, you thought with fond exasperation. I’m going to spoil you to bits once we’re back home.
A private tea party with you would suffice, Mother, came the unspoken reply.
“Yes,” you answered, finally finding your voice. “Yes, you may.”
-----
Jinwoo was, understandably, a little unsettled.
It was just a flash of something sharp peeking past Red’s lips, glinting in the dim light, made all the more unsettling by the sudden, ignited hunger in her eyes at your simple permission.
He thought it might’ve been a trick of the light, some illusion caused by the jungle’s shifting shadows. But the smile that followed, fleeting as it was, left no room for doubt. If asked to describe it, Jinwoo would struggle between words like “alluring” and “unnerving”. It was a look that sent goosebumps rippling across one’s skin, like staring too long at a blade glinting in sunlight.
And as it turned out, that was only the beginning.
-----
Igris was, understandably, a little unsettled.
He was not a shadow who easily found himself at a loss for words. He had faced countless enemies, stood beside his Liege through most harrowing of battles, and witnessed displays of power that would render lesser beings trembling in fear.
Then again, this could very well be one of those newer experiences.
The shadows had just about completed their task of collecting magic cores for their Liege. Each of them was accompanied by your summons, the usual pairing: a soldier and a butterfly, the latter usually a personal dedicated support for that one shadow—a formation established early in their Liege's cooperation with you and maintained ever since.
As the last shadow soldier stepped away from a lifeless corpse, the number of red butterflies increased. This was not unusual. In most cases, the red ones were the most diligent in storing and distributing the energy gained from the living and the freshly defeated. Igris had learned this firsthand through observation during joint operations and later confirmed it through the many conversations his Liege had with you.
From a shadow’s perspective, these butterflies, when at work, siphoned an essence often resembled near-transparent wisps drifting from their targets’ bodies until none remained. Typically, the targets were already dead by this point, and since his Liege could still call upon their souls without issue, it became clear to Igris that souls were not exactly what the butterflies were feeding on.
Thus, it was an unspoken certainty: once there was no energy left to harvest, the red butterflies would leave their targets untouched.
So, imagine his surprise at the scene before him now.
The first clue that something was different came with the sound. It was subtle at first, nearly swallowed by the rain—a low hum, rhythmic yet discordant, like paper tearing. Then, the scent: the iron-rich tang of blood, thick and pungent, saturating the air more potently than it had during the height of battle. The atmosphere itself felt heavier, the damp earthiness of the rain-soaked ground mingling with something raw and visceral.
From Igris’s vantage point, the kaleidoscope of wings shimmered iridescent as they descended upon the battlefield, resembling curtains falling to signal the end of a play. At first glance, their movements seemed no different from their usual post-battle routine—fluttering, siphoning, the eerie white wisps floating around them as expected. But as the swarm enveloped the fallen beasts, it became apparent that this was no longer a mere routine.
It was a frenzy.
Limbs that appeared delicate, outwardly made to only be strong enough to support their own body weight, moved with unnatural strength. They dug into flesh and pulled, tearing through skin and muscle with the ease of a blade slicing through parchment. It was as though the beasts’ bodies were the fragile ones, not the little summons. With surgical precision, they ripped through tissues and chipped away at bones, the gleam of their tiny proboscises betraying no hesitation.
Igris didn’t know how such creatures, originally built for a liquid diet, could dismantle corpses with such efficiency. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know.
Monster consuming their kind, eating humans even, was the norm. Even the shadows were no exception—especially beast-type soldiers like the ants and bears still indulged in the habits of their former lives, tearing into their enemies without a second thought. Even the orcs partook in such practices from time to time. Though they no longer required such sustenance, some instincts proved difficult to erase.
So no, it wasn’t the act itself that disturbed Igris.
It was the way they did it.
The simple and gentle flutter of their wings, the precise and calculated movements of their limbs, the effortless grace of each bite—it was all too deliberate, too synchronized. Pattern of movements, solo and with another, resembled silhouettes of performers. Each motion mirrored a meticulous choreography, rehearsed and perfected for centuries. And yet, the reality of this elegant display was a savage massacre. No beast was spared, no corpse favored. All were stripped away from their most earthly possessions—their bodies, their physical existence—with the same ruthless accuracy as the butterflies did not just eat, but also play with their food.
Igris had never considered himself a connoisseur of art. He barely remembered caring for such frivolities when he was alive, save for the artistry of battle. But if there was ever a performance deserving of the name danse macabre, this was it.
His grip tightened around the hilt of his sword.
Who would have thought those delicate creatures were capable of such a thing? Capable of stripping sinew from bone with such efficiency?
It was all too easy to forget that the very same butterflies that provided healing and support had stolen that energy from the living in the first place. That fact too be damned; on most days, the wisps they harvested looked like nothing more than soft clouds they played hide and seek with, or a shimmering mist they weaved through.
Now, those same creatures just painted a more vivid picture. The grotesque scene be the fine wine spilling onto the ground, soaking into the canvas. The severed nerves and veins be the strands of an artist’s brush dipped in ink—dipped in blood. The rainwater, far from washing it away, acted as a solvent, softening the edges and blending the red into the damp earth. The colors bled together in a masterpiece of similar hues, framed by the black of their wings against the dull, muddied backdrop. The light reflected on each droplet, all over the scene, cascaded down ethereal wings and gruesome carcasses, gave off that finishing polished look, just like what varnish would do on paintings well-done.
What incongruity. And yet, somehow, how fitting.
Igris, who had borne witness to countless battles and their aftermaths, had walked through desolation, through carnage and destruction, had stood amongst the living, the dying, and now the fallen. And yet, it was his first time seeing anything quite like this—as surreal and 'lively', like moving pictures.
The jungle’s muddy terrain had become their stage, where the grotesque and the beautiful performed a duet to the orchestra of chimes and tearing flesh. The corpses strewn about were no longer remnants of battle. They were offerings.
No—bouquets.
Thrown at the feet of the dancers by the audience.
This was not a curtain-call anymore, this was an encore.
And the audience were the shadows.
So at least, Igris was not alone on this thought.
A quick glance at his fellow soldiers confirmed that much. They had finished collecting the magic cores, their task complete. But not a single one moved to leave. Not a single one spoke. The sight before them should have triggered some primal urge to flee—some lingering instinct, no matter how faint, to recoil at the sheer wrongness of it. But they did not move. They did not look away.
They were mesmerized.
Igris’s sharp eyes caught the subtle tremors in some of them. The telltale signs of unease. Fear? He recognized the ones most affected—those often paired with the red butterflies in battle.
Under normal circumstances, he would have deemed this a failure. A soldier trembling at the mere sight of their allies? A disgrace. One that would merit a harsher training regimen to ensure they never faltered again.
But this time?
This time, he supposed he could spare them.
Because for all his experience, for all his time spent serving under their liege, he had always believed that the dead had but one thing to fear: their king’s wrath.
And yet, this—this spectacle that blurred the line between beauty and horror, that none could look away from—this thing that played at the edges of death’s dominion—
Perhaps it was not quite fear. Perhaps it was something close.
Close enough that it left them frozen in place, wondering. Wondering when they become a part of it.

Unedited Draft of [30/01/2025]
Okay, so, I'm not too happy with how this chapter turned out. But right now, I'm out of words and ideas on how to fix it. Plus, I wanted to proceed to the next few chapters which I find more exciting to write. And, I'm also entering a new semester on the 17th, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to write and post again.
Also, I wanted to ask you all: since this my first time writing something close to gore, I wanted to ask if this much is already considered as gore, mild gore, or not at all?
While this chapter might not be my best work personally, I hope it will do well nonetheless.
Oh yeah, since I didn't put any lyrics in here, the song TP!Reader sung to Jinwoo is open to interpretation. Personally, I was listening to Rise Up by The Fat Rat while writing the past scene mentioned (referring to Chapter 4).
Feedbacks are very much appreciated. Thank you for reading. 🙏💕

Chapter 03
The air on the practice field was crisp, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows as the team warmed up. Sukuna adjusted his gloves, running a hand through his hair before jogging out to the field. The steady rhythm of cleats on grass and the sharp whistle of the coach echoed in the background.
As drills started, Sukuna spotted Gojo across the field, stretching lazily near the sidelines. Gojo had always been terrible at warm-ups, choosing to joke around instead of focusing. Sukuna jogged over, tossing a ball in his direction.
“Hey,” Sukuna said casually. “You ready to actually do something today, or are you just here to stand around?”
Gojo caught the ball effortlessly, grinning. “Please, I’m always ready. Question is, are you?” He tossed the ball back, his signature cocky smirk in place.
Sukuna chuckled, shaking his head. They’d been like this since they were kids—constant teasing, but always understanding each other on a deeper level.
As they moved into passing drills, Gojo glanced at Sukuna, his tone softening. “How you doing, man?”
“Good,” Sukuna said automatically, catching the ball and passing it back.
But Gojo knew better. He didn’t miss the slight hesitation in Sukuna’s voice, or the way his jaw tightened just a bit more than usual. The loss of Sukuna’s father still hung heavily over him, even if he pretended it didn’t.
Gojo didn’t push. Sukuna wasn’t the type to talk about emotions, and Gojo respected that. Still, it didn’t stop him from watching his best friend carefully as they moved through the drill.
Before Gojo could say anything else, Mahito and Jogo sauntered onto the field, their voices loud and obnoxious as always.
“Yo, Sukuna!” Mahito called, waving dramatically as he and Jogo approached.
Gojo let out a sigh, immediately tossing the ball back to Sukuna. “I’m gonna head over to the other side,” he said, nodding toward Nanami, who was running solo drills.
“Why?” Sukuna asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Because I don’t like those two,” Gojo admitted bluntly.
“You’re being ridiculous,” Sukuna said, rolling his eyes.
Gojo just shrugged, already grabbing his water bottle. “Maybe. But they’re mean. And annoying.”
“It’s whatever,” Sukuna muttered, though he knew Gojo wasn’t entirely wrong.
With that, Gojo jogged off, leaving Sukuna to deal with Mahito and Jogo.
Mahito immediately noticed the shift. “Why’d Gojo leave?” he asked, tilting his head in mock curiosity.
Sukuna shrugged, casually throwing the ball between his hands. “Said he wanted to work on some other drills with Nanami.”
Jogo snickered. “Yeah, right. Feels like Gojo’s been avoiding us lately.”
Mahito nodded. “Sometimes I think he doesn’t like me.”
Sukuna smirked, covering for his friend. “You’re paranoid. He’s just weird like that.”
Before Mahito could respond, a sharp whistle cut through the air.
Geto, the team captain, strode onto the field, clipboard in hand. His commanding presence immediately silenced the murmurs. “Alright, enough chit-chat,” he called, motioning for everyone to gather around.
As the team huddled up, Geto began assigning positions for scrimmages and barking out directions for drills. Sukuna’s competitive side kicked in as they started running plays, his focus narrowing in on the game.
Despite the lingering tension from earlier, Sukuna found himself falling into the rhythm of practice. For a while, it was just football—the roar of players, the thud of the ball, and the adrenaline coursing through his veins.

The locker room was quiet except for the occasional clatter of lockers and the hiss of the showers in the background. Sukuna sat on the bench, sweat still dripping from his hair as he slowly peeled off his gloves and threw them into his duffel bag. Practice had been long, draining, and, frankly, irritating.
He glanced over at Gojo, who was already packing up with his usual carefree attitude.
“Don’t forget to text me about tomorrow’s party,” Gojo said, slinging his bag over his shoulder. His tone was light, but there was an undertone of genuine concern as he glanced at Sukuna.
“Yeah, I’ll let you know,” Sukuna replied curtly.
Gojo gave him a quick pat on the shoulder before heading out, leaving Sukuna alone with his thoughts. He leaned back against the locker, exhaling heavily, when he noticed Nanami at the far end of the room, finishing up his routine.
“Yo, Nanami,” Sukuna called, getting up and walking over.
Nanami turned, raising an eyebrow. “Sukuna.”
“Got a second?” Sukuna asked.
“Sure.”
Sukuna hesitated for a moment before speaking. “You know any good tutors for… uh…” He paused, trying to think of the name of the class Yuuji had mentioned. “Principles of Financial Management?”
Nanami looked surprised. “You’re taking that class?”
“Nah,” Sukuna said quickly, shaking his head. “It’s for my brother. He’s struggling.”
Nanami’s expression softened slightly. “How’s he holding up?”
Sukuna shrugged, his tone clipped. “He’s trying.” But there was something in his voice—an edge of weariness, an unspoken weight—that told Nanami everything he needed to know. They were still grieving.
After a pause, Nanami spoke. “Actually, your group partner—Y/N—tutors for that class. She’s good at it. She does tutoring for other subjects, too.”
Sukuna frowned. He hadn’t known that.
“Someone else, maybe?” Sukuna asked, his voice casual, but his thoughts racing.
Nanami gave him a flat look. “That’s who I’d recommend.”
Sukuna shook his head. “I can’t do that. I’ve got plans with her.”
Nanami narrowed his eyes. “Plans?”
“Yeah.” Sukuna smirked faintly, his voice dropping to a low drawl. “I’m hooking up with her. Eventually.”
Nanami’s face twisted in disbelief and annoyance. “You’re kidding, right?”
Sukuna shrugged, leaning back against the lockers. “It’s just a stupid bet.”
Nanami’s lips pressed into a thin line, his voice low and sharp. “Forget the damn bet, Sukuna. Your brother needs help, and you’re too focused on your ego to see it.”
Before Sukuna could respond, Nanami grabbed his bag and stalked off, clearly disgusted.
Sukuna sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. The door to the locker room creaked open, and Geto stepped inside, his usual calm demeanor masking his curiosity.
“What was all that about?” Geto asked, leaning against a row of lockers.
“Nothing,” Sukuna muttered, brushing past him.
“Doesn’t seem like nothing,” Geto said, straightening up. “Can I talk to you for a minute?”
Sukuna paused, then nodded, following Geto to a quieter corner of the locker room.
Geto folded his arms, his voice measured. “Look, I know things have been awkward. I know you wanted to be captain a while ago, and… for different reasons, you couldn’t.”
Sukuna’s jaw tightened. “Yeah, I couldn’t. Because I was off the team for months after my dad died.”
Geto nodded, his tone softening. “I didn’t want to bring that up. I didn’t know how you were doing.”
Sukuna scoffed. “Doesn’t matter now, does it?”
“It does,” Geto said firmly. “I just want what’s best for the team, Sukuna. That’s all I’ve ever wanted. And I need you to help me with that. No grudges. No resentment.”
Sukuna gave a bitter laugh, shaking his head. “Whatever.” He turned back to his locker, grabbing his stuff and slamming the door shut.
Geto watched him, his expression unreadable. “Sukuna…”
But Sukuna didn’t respond. He walked out of the locker room, leaving Geto standing there in silence. The tension lingered in the air, heavy and unresolved. Geto sighed, running a hand through his hair.
Tumblr media
Sukuna walked out of the locker room, his duffel bag slung over his shoulder, muscles still tense from the grueling practice. The evening air was cool against his skin, a stark contrast to the stifling heat of the field. His thoughts were still heavy with the discussion he had with Geto, the words biting deeper than he cared to admit.
As he rounded the corner of the campus walkway, he spotted Yuuji in the distance. His little brother was leaning casually against a bench, talking animatedly with a red-haired girl and a dark-haired boy.
The girl was striking, her auburn hair catching the fading sunlight. Her posture was confident, her laughter ringing out as she teased Yuuji about something. The boy beside her was quieter, his sharp features giving him a serious demeanor, though his lips twitched in a subtle smirk as he watched the exchange.
Yuuji, however, was the focus of it all—smiling, laughing, the weight of the past months seemingly lifted, if only for a moment. Sukuna stopped in his tracks, watching them from afar.
It had been a long time since he’d seen Yuuji like this. Carefree. Happy.
Nanami’s words replayed in his mind, and he felt a pang of guilt. You’re too focused on your ego to see it. Maybe Nanami was right. Sukuna ran a hand through his damp hair, exhaling heavily before turning toward the dorms.
As he approached his room, he stopped in his tracks again. Mei Mei was there, leaning casually against the doorframe, her sleek silver hair falling over her shoulders. Her sharp eyes locked onto him, and a sly smile spread across her lips.
Sukuna immediately felt a wave of annoyance. “What are you doing here?”
She straightened, crossing her arms. “I’ve been calling. Texting. You’re ghosting me.”
Leaning against the opposite wall, Sukuna crossed his arms and tilted his head. “Yeah. That’s usually what happens when a game’s over.”
Her smile faltered, replaced with a sarcastic chuckle. “You’re being serious?”
“As a heart attack,” Sukuna replied, his tone flat. “It’s over, Mei Mei. I’ve got bigger things to focus on.”
She took a step closer, her voice dropping. “So I’m a distraction now?”
“No,” Sukuna said, his gaze cold. “You’re a nuisance. And I’m sick of your games.”
Mei Mei’s expression shifted, a mix of anger and disappointment flashing across her face. She grabbed the bag she’d left leaning against the wall and slung it over her shoulder.
“Fine,” she said, her voice icy. “But don’t come crawling back when you realize how boring your life is without me.”
Sukuna didn’t respond. He simply watched her walk away, her heels clicking against the concrete as she disappeared down the hallway.
He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck before fishing his keys out of his pocket. Unlocking the door, he pushed it open and stepped inside, tossing his bag onto the sofa without a second thought.
The dorm was quiet, the faint hum of the mini-fridge the only sound. Sukuna made his way to his room, shutting the door behind him. He collapsed onto his bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind swirling with too many thoughts.
As he turned onto his side, his eyes landed on the photo on his nightstand—a picture of him and his dad, taken years ago. His dad’s hand rested on his shoulder, his smile proud and warm. Sukuna reached out and picked up the frame, his fingers brushing over the glass.
He didn’t say anything, but the ache in his chest was impossible to ignore.
He missed him.
Placing the photo back on the nightstand, Sukuna exhaled deeply, staring at it for a moment longer before turning onto his back. The silence of the room pressed in around him, but he let it, closing his eyes and trying to push everything else away.
Tumblr media
The next morning, Sukuna arrived at campus earlier than usual. The sky was still streaked with shades of pink and gold as the sun rose, and the campus was quieter than it ever was during the chaos of the midday rush. Sukuna walked purposefully across the grounds, his sharp eyes scanning for one particular person.
He spotted you near the library entrance, your bag slung over your shoulder, a book cradled in one arm. You walked with your head down, lost in your thoughts. Sukuna felt his heartbeat quicken for a reason he couldn’t quite place. Taking a deep breath, he quickened his pace to catch up to you.
“Hey,” he said as his hand lightly touched your shoulder.
You flinched, startled, and turned quickly, your wide eyes meeting his. Confusion flickered across your face. “Oh… Sukuna?”
He cleared his throat, trying to mask his sudden nervousness with his usual nonchalant tone. “How are you?”
You hesitated, still unsure why he had stopped you, but eventually you nodded. “I’m good. How about you?”
For a moment, he forgot himself, his response caught in his throat. But then he remembered to keep up his usual demeanor. “I’m alright,” he said flatly, shrugging.
An awkward silence settled between you two, filled only by the distant rustle of leaves in the breeze. Sukuna shifted his weight, uncharacteristically unsure of himself, before finally speaking.
“Do you tutor?”
You blinked, caught off guard. “Tutor? For what class?”
He mentioned the class—something about introductory economics—and your brow furrowed. “That’s… a starter class. Are you taking it?”
“No,” he replied quickly, almost defensive. “It’s for my brother. Yuuji.”
Your expression softened slightly. You hadn’t known he had a brother.
Sukuna continued, his tone more earnest than you’d ever heard before. “He’s failing miserably, and he needs help. I can’t tutor him myself; my schedule’s too complicated.”
You considered his words for a moment, noting the tension in his shoulders and the faint crease in his brow. Whatever his usual reputation was, he clearly cared about his brother.
“I can check my schedule,” you said, offering a small smile.
“Please,” Sukuna said, almost pleading. “I’ll even pay you.”
You studied him for a moment. The way he stood there, looking at you with an intensity that seemed out of character, caught you off guard. It wasn’t like the brash, arrogant Sukuna you’d come to expect.
Finally, you nodded. “I have some time at 7 p.m. today. Will that work?”
A wave of relief washed over Sukuna, and he let out a small, genuine smile. “That’s perfect. Yuuji will be there. Thank you.”
You returned his smile, a little softer, a little shy, and for a moment, everything seemed to pause.
Sukuna’s gaze lingered on you, tracing the delicate curve of your cheekbone, the way the morning light caught in your eyes, and the slight flush on your face. Something about you made the world seem quieter, simpler. He felt himself falling into a trance, his usual mask slipping as his heart thudded louder in his chest.
You noticed his gaze and looked away, overwhelmed by the intensity of it. Your fingers tightened around the strap of your bag, unsure what to make of the moment.
Sukuna blinked, realizing how long he’d been staring. He shook his head, forcing himself back into reality. “I’ll see you around,” he muttered quickly before turning and walking away, his heart pounding in a way that frustrated him.
Pushing the thoughts aside, you adjusted your bag and headed into the library, though the encounter lingered in the back of your mind like a puzzle waiting to be solved.
You make your way through the library, the familiar scent of old books and polished wood calming your thoughts as you navigate past rows of shelves. The library is quiet, save for the occasional shuffle of pages and hushed whispers. You find yourself instinctively heading toward your preferred spot—the back corner of the library, tucked between two aisles no one ever visits.
Sliding your bag off your shoulder, you settle down on the floor, leaning against the wall with a stack of books nearby. The space is dimly lit, but it’s yours—a hidden haven from the chaos of campus life.
As you open your notebook, your mind betrays you, circling back to Sukuna. Your fingers hesitate over your pen as you replay the morning in your head.
Why had he stopped you? Sukuna Ryomen, the guy who was perpetually late to everything, somehow managed to be on campus before sunrise just to catch you before you disappeared into the library. But no, that couldn’t be right. You shake your head at the thought.
Sukuna didn’t do early mornings. He didn’t make an effort for anyone—at least not anyone like you.
You chew on the inside of your cheek, frustration bubbling up as the pieces refuse to fit neatly together. What had that gaze been about? The way his crimson eyes softened for just a moment, like he was seeing you for the first time.
No. Stop.
You press your pen against the page, trying to force yourself to focus. Sukuna Ryomen. The most popular guy on campus. The one who effortlessly commanded attention, who never had to try for anything. He had no reason to wake up early for you.
Your chest tightens as reality sets in, bringing an ache you wish you could ignore. “Get it through your head,” you mutter softly to yourself, your voice swallowed by the rows of books around you. Sukuna couldn’t be interested in you.
You think back to middle school, to all those years when you were invisible, blending into the background while he shone at the center of it all. He hadn’t noticed you then—why would he notice you now?
Your fingers tighten around your pen, and you lean forward, burying yourself in your notes. You tell yourself it doesn’t matter. It can’t matter. Sukuna Ryomen lives in a world far removed from yours. A fleeting smile or a lingering gaze couldn’t change that.
But even as you try to lose yourself in the pages in front of you, his voice echoes in your head: “Thank you.”
And no matter how hard you try to push it away, the faintest spark of warmth lingers.
Tumblr media
Sukuna slams his duffle bag into his locker, the clang of metal echoing in the hallway. His mind isn’t on football practice; it’s on you. The encounter from earlier, the way you flinched when he touched your shoulder, your soft, hesitant smile—it’s all been looping in his head since he left the library. And it’s pissing him off. He’s not the kind of guy who lets this kind of thing linger.
Before he can push the thought away, Mahito’s voice cuts through the silence.
“Look who’s actually on time for once,” Mahito’s sing-song voice echoes as he saunters up, Jogo trailing behind with his usual smug expression. Mahito grins as he leans lazily against the row of lockers. “What’s the occasion? Did hell freeze over, or did you forget how clocks work?”
Jogo chuckles darkly, crossing his arms. “Yeah, the mighty Sukuna Ryomen, punctual? Must be some kind of emergency.”
Sukuna barely spares them a glance, slamming his locker shut with a force that rattles the hinges. “Had to set up tutoring for Yuuji,” he mutters, his voice clipped, hoping they’ll drop it.
“Tutoring? For your brother?” Jogo snorts. “Isn’t he old enough to figure that shit out himself? What are you, his nanny now?”
The comment stings, but Sukuna ignores it, refusing to give them the satisfaction of a reaction. He busies himself with stuffing his bag into the locker, his movements sharp and deliberate.
Mahito tilts his head, his grin widening. “Alright, I’ll bite—who’s the tutor?”
Sukuna hesitates for a moment, then mutters your name under his breath, knowing what’s about to come.
As soon as the words leave his mouth, Mahito and Jogo erupt into laughter, their mocking voices filling the empty hallway.
“Her?” Jogo says, doubling over in amusement. “Oh, come on, man. Don’t tell me this is about the bet. Trying to kill two birds with one stone—help your brother and score with the tutor? That’s low, even for you.”
“I’m not doing it because of the bet,” Sukuna snaps, his voice sharp enough to cut. “I just want Yuuji to pass. That’s it.”
“Yeah, sure,” Mahito says, wiping an imaginary tear from his eye. “Sounds like someone’s chickening out. Just admit it, Sukuna—you’re scared you’ll lose, so you’re bailing.”
Sukuna’s hands ball into fists, his patience unraveling thread by thread. “Say that again,” he growls, his tone dark and dangerous.
Mahito raises his hands in mock surrender, but his smirk doesn’t waver. “Relax, I’m just kidding. No need to get all touchy.”
But Jogo? Jogo doesn’t know when to quit.
“Well, it makes sense,” Jogo says with a shrug, his voice laced with venom. “You’ve been pretty boring lately. Ever since your dad died, you’re not the same—”
The words barely register before Sukuna moves.
In a blur, he grabs Jogo by the collar and slams him into the lockers with enough force to make them shudder. The sound reverberates down the hallway, and for a moment, everything is still.
“Say that again,” Sukuna hisses, his crimson eyes blazing with fury. His voice is low, deadly, and it sends a chill down Mahito’s spine.
Jogo’s usual smirk vanishes, replaced by wide-eyed fear. He sputters, trying to find his voice. “I—I didn’t mean—”
“Didn’t mean what?” Sukuna snarls, his grip tightening. “To open your damn mouth? Or to remind me why I shouldn’t let you speak at all?”
“Come on, Sukuna, let him go,” Mahito says, stepping forward, though his voice lacks its usual confidence. He tries to pull Sukuna away, but it’s like trying to move a brick wall.
Sukuna doesn’t even acknowledge him, his gaze fixed on Jogo. “You think you can talk about him like that? Like you have any right?”
“S-Sukuna, I didn’t—” Jogo chokes, his hands clawing at Sukuna’s grip.
“Enough!” Nanami’s voice cuts through the tension like a whip.
Everyone turns to see him striding down the hallway, his expression stern and unyielding. He stops a few feet away, his presence commanding. “Sukuna, let him go. Now. Unless you want the principal involved.”
Sukuna’s jaw clenches, his grip tightening for a moment before he shoves Jogo back. Jogo stumbles, hitting the floor with a thud, his face pale and sweaty.
Nanami steps closer, his gaze sweeping over the group. “What the hell happened here?”
Mahito sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. “Jogo… brought up Sukuna’s dad.”
Nanami closes his eyes briefly, a flicker of disappointment crossing his face. He exhales slowly, then looks at Sukuna, whose fists are still clenched, his chest heaving.
“Walk it off,” Nanami says firmly. “Before you do something even more reckless.”
Sukuna doesn’t respond. He grabs his bag, slams his locker shut with a force that makes the hallway tremble, and storms off without another word.
Nanami watches him go, his expression heavy with disapproval. “Unbelievable,” he mutters under his breath.
Mahito and Jogo exchange nervous glances, the weight of what just happened settling over them like a storm cloud.

Gojo strolled across campus, the crisp autumn breeze ruffling his white hair as he held a crumpled piece of paper in his hand. His psychology professor had assigned a project, and they needed a very specific book—an older edition that, according to his usual online bookstore, this rare gem, was only available in the campus library.
He pushed open the heavy library doors, greeted by the familiar scent of old pages and polished wood. The quiet atmosphere pressed against his usually loud personality, but he liked it. It felt like stepping into another world, one where time moved slower and everything had its place.
Walking up to the librarian, he slid the paper onto the counter and flashed his signature smile. “Excuse me, where can I find this book?”
The librarian adjusted her glasses, glanced at the paper, and gestured toward the far end of the library. “Back section, seventh aisle.”
“Got it. Thanks,” he said, already turning to head in that direction.
Gojo weaved through the maze of bookshelves, his steps slowing as he took in the quiet beauty of the place. Sunlight filtered through tall windows, painting golden streaks across the dark wood floors. Then, as he approached the seventh aisle, he saw you.
You were sitting at a small table tucked into the farthest corner, your head bent over a notebook. A pen danced across the page, your focus entirely on whatever you were writing. You looked peaceful, completely absorbed in your work, and Gojo felt his breath hitch.
He couldn’t move. He didn’t want to disturb you, but he couldn’t tear his eyes away either.
What are you doing, Satoru? he scolded himself. You’re here for a book, not to gawk at someone.
Still, his gaze lingered. The way the soft light framed your features, the slight furrow of your brow as you concentrated—it all captivated him.
He shook his head, forcing himself to look at the rows of books instead. But even as his eyes scanned the titles, his thoughts kept drifting back to you.
After what felt like an eternity of aimless searching, he sighed and clenched his fists. “Come on, man. Just say hi,” he muttered under his breath, remembering Geto’s advice.
Drawing a deep breath, he gathered his courage and walked toward your table. Each step felt heavier than the last, and he almost turned back. But then you glanced up, sensing his presence, and your eyes met his.
He froze.
“Hi,” he managed to say, his usual confidence nowhere to be found.
You blinked at him, surprised, before offering a small, polite smile. “Hi.”
For a moment, neither of you spoke, the quiet of the library amplifying the tension. Gojo mentally kicked himself, scrambling to fill the silence. He held out the crumpled paper. “Uh… do you know where I can find this book?”
You glanced at the paper, then nodded. “Yeah, follow me.”
He trailed after you as you led him through the maze of shelves. Despite the silence, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest.
“I’ve, uh, never been here before,” he said, breaking the quiet. “I usually buy my books online, but this one wasn’t available.”
You glanced back at him briefly, your expression softening. “The library usually has what you need. It’s a good resource if you’re ever stuck.”
He nodded, though his focus wasn’t on your words—it was on the sound of your voice, how calm and steady it was.
As you continued walking, he tried to make small talk. “So, do you come here often?”
You chuckled softly. “I do. It’s quiet back here, and I like the solitude.”
“I can see that,” he said, glancing around. “It’s nice. Peaceful.”
Finally, you stopped in front of a tall shelf. “Here it is,” you said, pointing to the top row.
Gojo tilted his head, watching as you stretched onto your tiptoes, reaching for the book. He couldn’t help but smile.
“Here, let me get that for you,” he said, stepping forward.
He easily grabbed the book, his height giving him an advantage. He handed it to you, and your fingers brushed briefly against his as you took it.
You glanced at the title, then nodded. “This is the one.”
He looked at the cover, then at you. “Yep, definitely 100% the book.”
You laughed softly, and Gojo felt his chest tighten.
“You have a beautiful laugh.” he said, the words tumbling out before he could stop them.
You blinked, your cheeks flushing pink. “Oh. Um… thank you.”
Gojo’s face burned as he realized what he’d said. He scratched the back of his neck, fumbling for words. “I mean, uh—sorry, that just kind of… um…”
“It’s okay,” you said, smiling at him. “Thank you, Gojo.”
The sound of his name on your lips sent a shiver down his spine. It was simple, casual, yet it felt like music.
“You… know my name?” he asked, his voice quieter now.
You nodded. “We went to middle school together.”
His eyes widened in surprise. “I know, I just— nothing.”
You smiled, a hint of shyness in your expression. “Well, it was nice talking to you, but I should get to class.”
He nodded, though a part of him wanted to keep talking to you. “Same here.”
As you turned and walked away, he watched you go, the book still clutched in his hand. He felt lighter somehow, like he’d taken a step forward without even realizing it.
When he finally turned back, he saw Geto standing at the end of the aisle, grinning like an idiot.
“So?” Geto asked as Gojo approached.
Gojo hesitated, then smiled softly. “It was… nice.”
“Nice?” Geto teased. “Man, you’ve got it bad.”
“Shut up,” Gojo muttered, though the blush on his face betrayed him.
Geto laughed, slapping him on the back. “Hey, I’m proud of you, lover boy.”
Gojo groaned, but deep down, he couldn’t stop the warmth spreading through his chest.

Yuuji was walking with Nobara and Megumi, his backpack slung lazily over one shoulder as they discussed the wild plans for Hakari’s party later that night. They were both excited about it, talking about all the fun they were going to have, but Yuuji couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. The last thing he expected, though, was to see his older brother approaching—especially not now.
As if on cue, Sukuna appeared, his tall frame cutting through the crowd like a knife. He was dressed in his usual casual style—jeans and a fitted T-shirt that showed off his toned physique. His expression was cool, as always, and his eyes locked on Yuuji from across the quad, making Yuuji’s heart do an involuntary flip. His brother had this unsettling aura, like he could make anyone do exactly what he wanted with just one look.
Yuuji gulped, already sensing trouble. “Uh-oh, here it comes.”
Sukuna made his way toward them with purpose, ignoring the looks he got from students along the way. He was a force to be reckoned with, and everyone knew it.
“Yuuji,” Sukuna said flatly, voice carrying across the open campus. It was a voice that didn’t ask, didn’t plead—it simply commanded. “I’ve set up a tutoring session for you at 7 PM. Library. Don’t be late.”
Yuuji blinked. “Wait, what? The party’s tonight though?”
Sukuna looked at him, unimpressed. “I don’t care.”
There was no anger, no frustration in his voice—just pure, unfiltered indifference. The words hit Yuuji like a punch to the gut. Sukuna had that effect on him. Yuuji wasn’t sure if his brother was trying to be intimidating or just being… well, Sukuna. Probably both.
“The party starts later. Be there when you’re done with your little session,” Sukuna added, voice thick with the unspoken expectation. There was no room for negotiation in his tone.
Yuuji rolled his eyes dramatically. “Yeah, yeah, whatever,” he muttered, barely holding back a groan. “I’ll be there.”
Sukuna’s eyes narrowed, making Yuuji freeze for a moment. “What did you say?”
Yuuji quickly snapped to attention, throwing his hands up in a defensive motion. “I said yeah, yeah! I got it, big bro, geez.”
Sukuna studied him for a moment longer, making sure he wasn’t being mocked, and then gave a curt nod. “Good. Now, be on time. You’re not getting out of this.”
Yuuji gave him an exaggerated salute, grinning even though his brother’s unwavering stare was making his insides twist. “I’ll be there, promise. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
With that, Sukuna turned away and started walking off, leaving Yuuji, Nobara, and Megumi to watch him go.
Once Sukuna was out of earshot, Nobara let out a dramatic sigh, clearly impressed. “Damn, your brother’s hot.”
Megumi shot her a disgusted look, clearly unamused by her comment. “I swear, sometimes you’re unbearable.”
Yuuji’s face flushed at the conversation. “Don’t look at my brother like that,” he said quickly, trying to change the subject.
Nobara wasn’t going to let it go, though. She turned to Yuuji with a smirk. “Is it true, though? Is your brother a man whore or not?”
Yuuji stared at her, confused. “What rumors?”
“The rumors, idiot,” Nobara said, leaning in slightly, “That Sukuna’s some kind of walking, talking, heartbreaker?” Her voice lowered to a teasing tone. “Is it true?”
Before Yuuji could answer, Megumi muttered, “God, Nobara, you’re such a cunt.” His voice was almost disgusted, but also tired from dealing with her antics.
Nobara shot back. “And you’re a dick, Megumi.”
Yuuji chuckled, despite himself. He scratched the back of his neck, looking somewhat sheepish. “Unfortunately, yeah, it’s true. But… I think he’ll change at some point.”
Nobara and Megumi exchanged a glance, and Megumi made a face, one that spoke volumes. “Yeah, I don’t think so.” He shook his head with a quiet scoff.
Yuuji rolled his eyes, letting the tension slide off his shoulders. “We’ll see,” he muttered.
As they continued walking toward their next class, Nobara shot Yuuji a glance. “So, when are you going to Hakari’s party?”
Yuuji smiled. “Once I’m done with the tutoring session. Can’t leave my brother hanging.”
Nobara grinned, “Alright, text me when you’re heading there. I’ll meet you before the madness starts.”
Yuuji gave her a thumbs-up, “Sure thing.” Then he turned his attention back to Megumi, who had already begun walking toward their class. The rest of the day would pass by in a blur, but Yuuji had the party to look forward to, along with a tutoring session that would keep him busy for a while.

You swept the blush brush over your cheeks and heaved a sigh. Ultimately, you were disgusted with yourself. Right? It might not have been surface-level, but somewhere, deep down, you really were. You had to be. It was sickening that you hadn’t stopped thinking about the furious fuck you two had had almost two weeks ago. You, as a proud feminist woman, found that very morally violating. Actually, you found Kai very morally violating. And yet, here you were, threading the ribbon of a Red Riding Hood costume through the faux-corset front. You knotted it tightly and gazed in the mirror.
You made a cute Red Riding Hood and your tits sat nicely in this corset. At least there was that. There was the possibility that he wasn’t even going to come, which was probably the best option. There was also the possibility that he would walk through the door with Winter. If the latter happened, you’d feel like a fool in front of your friend, and an absolute pathetic, begging whore in front of her brother.
Which is what you were. You knew Kai would make sure to tell you that.
You heard the first ding of the doorbell. Giving yourself a final once-over, you turned and bolted down the stairs. Your eyes swept over your living room, making sure it was presentable. You’d decorated modestly. Streamers of orange, black and purple hung from the ceiling, those little table top decorations were clustered on your coffee table. Carved pumpkins greeted guests at the door.
With a bright smile on your face, you swung open the door. A cluster of friends from college stood on your doorstep; hugs were exchanged before you ushered them inside. It was non-stop after that. Your guests flooded into your home, and before you knew it, you had to hold your drink above your head to navigate. Within a few hours, you had yourself, by all definitions, a successful party. You were two Red Solo cups deep, and you still hadn’t spotted either of the Anderson siblings.
Your eyes unfocused, watching the throngs of people as they undulated to music and clustered in corners of the room. Reminiscent activities of a college party, some playfully slapped each other, some made out, while others danced, feeling the beat of the song playing. Others had taken to sitting on the staircase, lounging against the wall and the bannister as they chatted.
“Hey there, little Red Riding Hood…” a voice said. Your eyes refocused onto a particular head of blue hair, wavy locks hanging on either side of his face. His dark, brown eyes penetrated — no, violated yours.
“You sure are looking good.” Song quote. Cute. Not.
Everything he said sounded so threatening, even when it was complimentary. Especially when it was complimentary. He was scanning your body like a drill sergeant examining a soldier, scrutinising every minute detail. Intentionally, you puffed your chest out, lifting your cleavage and squaring your shoulders.
“Did you let yourself into my house?” You snapped, incredulously. “Where’s Winter?”
He stiffened, obviously put off by your immediate attitude. “She’ll be here. Later. Had something I needed her to do.”
“The fuck?”
A beat.
“…did you let yourself into my fucking house, Kai?”
“Did you intentionally dress up like Little Red Riding Hood after I dressed up as a wolf?”
Your open mouth closed wordlessly, lips rolling inwards. The question was rhetorical, and answering would only humiliate you further.
“Why don’t we go discuss your choices upstairs?”
You stared at him, a vicious fire burning behind your eyes. Hoping he’d… what? Retract his statement? Run back out the door, finally realising that you weren’t one to be fucked with? Doubtful. He never backed down in front of a woman. Besides, if he did, you’d likely stop him, catching his arm at his bicep and yanking him back towards yourself — because you didn’t want him to leave. And you knew it.
With a huff and a sharp turn, you headed up the stairs, navigating around the people that sat on the steps. Every feminist cell in your body screamed perilously at you as he followed you up your carpeted steps, the heavy stomp of his boots following closely behind you.
You were in no mood to self-rationalise, you were too busy trying to calm the drooling monster between your legs. You squeezed your eyes shut, silencing the thoughts as you opened the door. The guests would entertain themselves — this wouldn’t take long. It didn’t last time.
He began surveying your room, walking it with his hands behind his back as if grading you. When he came to your bathroom, he toed open the door with his boot, and peeked his head inside. He seemed satisfied with whatever he saw — maybe his own reflection. All of this made you acutely uncomfortable. You shifted your weight, flipping the frill of one of your petticoats.
“Come here.”
“Excuse me?”
“I said… come…. Here.” He repeated, more sternly than before.
For whatever stupid reason, you obeyed him. You marched your sorry little ass over to where he was standing, staring up at him like a lost puppy. The bathroom door was still ajar, and you could see inside, courtesy of the little butterfly night light that was plugged in above the sink.
Kai reached in, flattening his hand against the wall and flipped the light switch.
“Put your hands on the counter.”
You hesitated. This didn’t sound good. But as soon as Kai jerked his head in the direction of the countertop, you hurriedly flattened your hands on the counter, keeping your eyes locked on his reflection.
“Good. Good. Now we’re getting somewhere. You’ve thought about our little encounter at Winter’s party often, haven’t you?”
You shook your head.
THWACK!
Your jaw dropped, stunned, as a burning red welt swelled on your right ass cheek, the flesh tingling with pinpricks of pain as the blood rushed to the surface. There had been no warning for the first, and there wasn’t a warning for the second, or the third.
“Let’s try that — wait. Oh. You like this.” He spat. “Don’t you?”
You shook your head again, indignantly, and Kai reared his hand back. You flinched and tightened your muscles, waiting for the impending impact. You knew it would piss him off — maybe that’s why you did it. Filling your mind with horrible things that would hopefully keep the arousal at bay wasn't working. You were failing… miserably. Spanking wasn’t something you’d explored in the past, never would have thought to. But the way that he was leaving large, burning handprints on your ass cheeks had you leaking out into your underwear. You could feel it, you knew it. Fuck, so wet… fuckfuckfuck.
As if he could hear your thoughts — a terrifying thought — Kai hooked one finger around the crotch of your panties and harshly yanked them to the side, exposing your slick folds. The tip of his middle finger explored curiously, unsurprisingly finding the beginnings of a juice-fest. Slippery, clear liquid oozed from your opening, and you heard Kai chuckle through his nose.
“Oh, no? What’s this?” He asked, knowingly. You had yet again lied to him. You personally didn’t see it as a lie but as a vicious betrayal from your own body. A wet, vicious betrayal.
“Nothing,” you rasped, ashamed, and knowing full well what was coming.
“What was that?”
“I said… nothing.” Might as well accept your fate now. You gripped the edge of the counter, bracing for impact.
THWACK! THWACK! THWACK! Your knees buckled in pain, a desperate whimper falling from your lips. Welts rose until your entire backside was a crimson, burning masterpiece of his hands.
“Clearly, you haven’t caught on. Allow me to explain this to you. Every time you lie to me, you’re going to be punished. And I know what you’re thinking. ‘Oh, but Kai, I like it when you spank me like the disobedient bitch I am.’ Maybe so.”
You didn’t appreciate the mockery of your voice.
Kai flattened his palm on the searing mound of flesh, caressing it tenderly as if deep in thought. Somehow though, the gentle touch made it sting more than before. You writhed away from his hand, only getting an inch or two away before he crudely yanked you back into place. Tossing you around like some sort of rag doll. “But, eventually, pleasure turns to pain. It’s up to you if you reach that point.”
Condemn yourself or liberate yourself? The answer was obvious. You sought pleasure not pain, and if Kai was willing… You met his eyes in the mirror, boring deep into them. You bent your arms at the elbows, stretching them across the counter and arching your back, pressing the curve of your juicy ass against his groin.
“Just fuck me,” You begged. Pathetically, desperately, whiningly. “That’s all we both want. It’s why we’re — why we’re here. There’s your truth, Kai.”
For a moment, Kai didn’t speak, he just stared. Just… watched you in the mirror. You drew your bottom lip in and bit down hard, hoping to entice him further. Slowly, his large hands slid up your back, going as far as the fabric would allow before dragging them back down again, his nails raking against your bare skin. Abruptly, he took hold of your ass, squeezing the soft flesh too hard, twisting your expression into one of pain. With the still warm pain of the spanks, you couldn’t help but wince at the sensation.
“Is that really wha—
“Don’t ask me if it’s what I want,” you groaned. “Don’t fucking ask me that.”
That launched him into action; his hands leaving your body. He unbuttoned his jeans, reaching in to pull his throbbing cock free. His gaze drifted from you to himself, looking down at it. Decently hard, but could be harder. The chase hadn’t been as long as last time, giving him less time to get worked up. He gave it a few angry pumps before lining it up with your slit.
This was the second time you were going to fuck Kai Anderson — and in a similar way; pissed off and completely clothed. Behind you, Kai used the tip of his cock as a toy, slapping it messily against your swollen, blushing cunt, threads of precum stringing from your clit to his head.
You shuddered. Kai dragged his cock down, pressing the bulbous tip into your pink, weeping slit. Gushy and searing hot, the spongy walls clenched, forcing it back out. Kai grit his teeth and pushed the head in harder, breaching it. Slithery warmth washed over him, gripping it tight. His cock twitched inside of you, seeking out depth. “Ohhhhh…. Fuck. Fu-”
With the head of his now rock-hard cock planted inside you, he no longer needed his hands and let go, moving them up to sweep his hair out of his face. He was embedded inside of you now, slick walls gripping his shaft, carnally begging for more. Using only the strength of his core, Kai backed out and plunged his cock back in repeatedly, popping the head in and out of your wet pussy. With one determinate thrust and a deep groan, he pushed himself all the way in, his lower abdomen bumping against the fullness of your ass cheeks.
His hands dropped heavily to your ass, taking fistfuls and pulling the cheeks apart to watch as it slid in and out, coated in your arousal. You whimpered, eyes rolling back, lids fluttering speedily. You hated him so much, but it felt so good. To turn dick down this good… would just be a waste. Not only was it long enough to hit your cervix, his cock was thick and veiny and massaged your insides in all the right spots.
“Look at yourself,” he growled, reaching one hand around to pinch your cheeks between his thumb and forefinger. Your lips puckered out like a fish. “Look at what a little whore you are.”
Slowly, you lifted your eyes to the mirror. You couldn’t deny your reflection; your red and white petticoats fluffed up around your waist, your previously perfect curls knotted in his fist, and your face distorted in a whorish display. The cherry on top was every time Kai’s cock bottomed out inside you, you winced and let out the most pathetic, whimpering moan. It was like a bad porn moan, and it was coming from you. Kai’s hand retreated from your face, slithering down to your neck, where he gave a firm, warning squeeze before returning to its place on your hip.
“I bet…” He paused, thrusting hard into your cunt a few times. His words were breathy and laboured. “I bet you’ve been thinking about this since that night. You like this.”
You had — that part was true. The other part about ‘liking’ it? Up for debate. Your pussy certainly did with the way that she clenched her slick walls around his thick cock, hungrily gripping it every time he tried to slide out.
“You fuckin’,” You clenched around him, letting out a shrill moan through gritted teeth. Your voice cracked. “You fuckin’ wish, Kai.”
THWACK!
That one really hurt. Hot tears welled up before streaming down your cheeks, leaving lines in the rouge. Kai slowly leaned over you, pressing his toned stomach against your back and even through clothes, you felt the muscles tensing.  He angled his lips right next to your ear, and hissed: “I don’t have to wish for anything. I get everything I want.”
His hot whisper made you shiver violently. And he didn’t — he was right. You were giving him everything he wanted, everything he asked for. Just like one of his little pathetic, whinging groupies. He started pulling you onto his cock, hard, and your entire body seized up, your walls shuddering, pulsing, quivering with the sensation. You pressed your head into the countertop, moaning loud into the sink. The wet, slapping sounds drifted into a singular dull thudding noise; your ears were ringing, your chest heaving. His pace quickened, his thrusts merciless. The taut coil in your tummy wound tighter, creating a deep pressure above your bladder. Your thighs quivered, knees feeling like jello as you tried to hold yourself up against the counter.
“Fuck, Kai - fuck-fuck-I’m gonna’ fucking—
With a winded groan, Kai tensed up, and plunged himself as deep as he could go, pulling your hips hard onto his cock. Hot, white euphoria erupted inside of you, filling you up and oozing out the sides of your cunt with each unsparing thrust he gave. Unable to hold it any longer, you arched, screaming towards the mirror. Kai leaned back and pulled out slightly, just enough to watch as your pathetic little cunt clenched through your own orgasm, fluttering desperately around the tip of his dick. He gathered your underwear again and pulled them up, before snapping them down on your ass. The strings of cum that dripped from you seeped into the fabric, sticky and warm.
Kai reached around again, lifting you up by your neck. This time, his cheek pressed against yours, rubbing it like a dog nuzzling its owner. “You’re going to spend the rest of your little gathering feeling that, understood?”
You said nothing and he gripped harder; slight pressure on your windpipe.
“Understood?” Again, nothing and Kai pressed his palm against your throat until you gasped, thrashing your head up and down in a panic. “SAY IT.”
A weird whine came from your throat as you desperately gasped for air. Your pupils dilated. Finally, you croaked: “I-I’m going to feel your c-cum between my… my-legs all night long.”
The pressure released, and Kai had turned away from you, busy stuffing his heavy, flaccid cock back into his dark jeans. Shakily, you straightened up, pulling your skirts back down where they were intended to sit. Thankfully, he hadn’t fucked up your makeup like he did last time - you could pass as just a tipsy girl who had just smeared her mascara a little.
Once you two were downstairs, you paused at the bottom of the stairs. The party thrived; nobody had noticed you were gone. You heaved a sigh of relief, knowing that now, nobody could pin it against you. No questions, no accusations. Me? Fucking Kai Anderson? Absolutely not, I’d rather die. Gag.
“We’ll have to discuss your constant lying at a later date.” And with that, he was gone. Gone to spread the good word of his weird little fucked up cult, and get more people to campaign for him, or whatever it is he did. You watched him, eyes narrowed, as he manoeuvred through the groups of people. He’d done it again. Motherfucker. You shifted your weight, feeling the sticky mess between your legs as dried into the fabric of your panties.
Coming down off the orgasm was one of the worst feelings; reality set in, and you were painfully reminded that you’d just fucked your sworn enemy. A poster boy of toxic masculinity had just filled you up with his seed. Sickening. A voice from behind jolted you out of your fuming stupor — Winter.
“You should really stop lying to him.”
You barked out a flabbergasted laugh. “That’s what I should stop, Winter? Lying to him?”
“Yeah,” she muttered lowly. “He hates liars.”
