he’s definitely not an angry type of jealous…..more like a sad type

he doesn’t like confrontation (at least not when he’s Just Peter) and he definitely would not want you to think he doesn’t trust you

it’s just that your lab partner is on the football team!!!! and he’s so tall!!!!! and handsome!!!!!! and he makes you laugh!!!!!

and peter HATES that he’s jealous bc he KNOWS you love him more than anything (bc you tell him literally every single minute of the day) but like…..he can’t help himself

he tries to play it cool but it’s bothering him SO MUCH bc he’s already insecure about himself enough as it is and sometimes he just questions why someone as awesome and perfect as you is with someone like him in the first place

he gets kinda quiet and withdrawn and basically just stuck in his own head

he wonders if he’s not a good boyfriend, if he should spend more time with you instead of being spider-man, if he should buy you more things, if he should try being funnier

you’re always quick to reassure him that no one could ever hold a candle to him

it makes you sad that he gets jealous and insecure because you love him so much and he’s the best boyfriend in the world
