ABOUT THE ARTIST

David Hanes (Canadian/American, born 1987, Toronto) lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Exhibiting in both online and offline communities that recently include; 'The Tomorrow That Never Was', Open Forum (Berlin), 'The Matter of Horror', 6. Moscow Biennale for Young Art (Moscow), ‘Lossless’, Pylon Lab (Dresden), ‘Sophia’, Ultrastudio (Pescara, IT), ‘Nonlocality’, Sawtoothers (Online/Tasmania), ‘David Hanes, Marius Glauer’, Heit (Berlin), ‘Record Material’, Passatge Studio (Barcelona), ‘Softshare’, Birch Contemporary (Toronto), ‘Open Source’, Ying Colosseum Email (Online), “TenderPixels.CorruptedFiles”, Birch Contemporary (Toronto), “psycho.gif”, Cosmos Carl (Online), “In a Good Shape”, Schwarzwaldallee (Basel) and “Are We Friends Yet?”, Intimate (Berlin).
