Secret Santa
Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
When Natasha gets your name for Secret Santa, she tries to think of the perfect gift for you
Note: I’m back! Well, technically I never left but I’ve been up to my ears in studying for the cpa exam. I took what was hopefully my last exam today, and let Natasha come back into my brain lol. Enjoy this holiday fluff!
Natasha Masterlist 1, Natasha Masterlist 2, Natasha Masterlist 3, Main Masterlist
“Okay, on to the topic of the Christmas party. What if do Secret Santa names this year?” Tony suggests.
“What does that entail?” Steve asks what everyone else is thinking.
“Well, we’d all write down a few things we like. It gives the person who gets your name an idea of what you want,” Tony explains.
“I like it,” Steve agrees. “What does everyone think?”
A chorus of sures and okays follow.
“Y/n, can you take care of it?” Steve asks.
You agree easily. You’ve always loved the holidays so the idea of helping the Avengers have a good one is exciting. Especially since it’s your first year with the team.
You get everyone’s names on notecards and spend the rest of the day getting everyone to fill them out with gift ideas. Wanda helps you collect them from the team before the next team meeting the next morning.
“Okay, everyone I have all of the names here. Draw one and whatever you get is what you have. No switching allowed,” you tell the team, mainly Tony.
You eyeball him as you say it and he at least pretends to look offended before he grins.
When you get to Natasha, you smile at her shyly.
“What if I get my own name?” She asks with a smirk.
She reaches into the bowl of names before you can answer. Her expression is unreadable as she looks at the card.
“Good?” You ask.
“It’s good,” Natasha replies.
You move on and keep going until everyone’s been picked. You got Wanda, which should be super easy.
On the other hand, Natasha got you. She thinks about it for a few days before deciding that she doesn’t want to get you anything on your list. She decides to go to your best friend on the team for advice.
“You got a second?” Natasha asks, knocking on Wanda’s open doorframe.
“Oh,” the girl is caught off guard. She doesn’t spend much time talking to Nat aside from about missions. “Sure.”
Natasha walks in and closes the door behind her. She sits down at Wanda’s desk across from where the girl sits on her bed.
“Is everything okay?” Wanda asks.
Natasha doesn’t immediately assure her it is and she gets worried. “So, I got y/n for secret santa.”
Wanda’s tenseness goes away and she can’t help a little smirk forming as Nat is talking.
“And I know she has things on this list,” she says. “But I don’t think a single one of these things is good enough for her. I don’t know what I should get for her, but she deserves the best gift.”
“Natasha,” Wanda interjects. “You’re taking this way too seriously.”
“Oh,” Nat expresses. “She- well she loves Christmas, right? I saw how excited she’s been about the tree and then the secret Santa and the movies. All of it. I want it to be special for her.”
“That’s really sweet,” Wanda says. “You like her, huh.”
“Can you help me?” Natasha keeps the focus on the conversation at hand. She does like you though.
“Of course. Anything for y/n.”
“Thank you,” Natasha says, feeling the relief set in.
The two brainstorm ideas for a couple of hours. When Wanda shows late for your usual nightly dinner, she wears a grin.
“What?” You ask her. “Fun with Vision?”
Wanda chuckles and you share a laugh with her.
“Who’d you get for Secret Santa?” You ask her.
“I can’t tell you,” she says.
“Sure you can.”
“Who’d you get?” She counters.
“I can’t tell you.”
“Sure you can,” she mocks you.
The rest of the days leading up to Christmas go by fast. Unfortunately everyone had to go on a mission on Christmas Eve, so you’re all exhausted on Christmas Day morning.
Tony postponed the gift exchange until later in the day, and everyone is much more rested by then.
Even with the hustle and bustle, you notice Natasha hasn’t made it to the get together yet.
“Hey Clint, where’s Nat?” You ask the archer. He was working closely with her on the mission.
“I think she just needed to take some time alone.”
“Oh, okay.”
You go about the party for a few more minutes before deciding to go check on Natasha.
You go to her room and knock on the door. She takes a minute to answer, but finally the door opens to reveal a distressed Natasha.
Her hair is messy and she’s wearing a hoodie and sweatpants. You haven’t seen her this way before.
“Hey,” you say. “We missed you down there.”
“Sorry,” she says. “Uh, come in.”
Her room is clean and exactly like you expected it. There are a few photos of Natasha and Clint’s family on a dresser, but that’s really the extent of the decor.
“Are you okay?” You ask her.
“Yeah, just a bad mission.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be,” Nat says. “It’s a me problem.”
“Hey, we’re teammates. And- we’re friends. It’s an us problem.”
Natasha can’t help but smile a little at that. You make her feel better by just being here.
“I don’t think I’m in the party mood. The guys aren’t so sensitive to my feelings.”
“Hey, that’s alright. I’ll just take your gift if you want me to. I’ll make sure it gets to the right person,” you explain.
“Oh, actually I had you. And I didn’t get a gift off of your list.”
Your eyes go wide. You didn’t even consider that Nat would get you. Thinking back to your list, you hope she didn’t find anything you wrote down as lame.
“Not because they were bad ideas. It’s just- I wanted to do something more meaningful,” she reads your mind.
Natasha crosses the room and grabs a box out of her closet. It’s wrapped nicely.
“You wrapped that?” You ask.
“You seem surprised,” Nat jokes. “I have skills.”
“Oh, I’m aware,” you say before blushing a bit. She smirks.
She hands you the box and you sit down on the edge of her bed together to open it. Nat watches you shyly as you open the gift.
“Natasha,” you whisper as you reveal the gift.
It’s a beautiful locket necklace.
“Open it,” she says.
On the inside of the locket, there’s a photo of your family. Your favorite photo to be exact.
“How did you-“
“Wanda helped,” Nat says. “I know you’ve been missing home since you joined the Avengers. I thought you’d want to have a piece of them with you on missions.”
“Natasha, that’s- well that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me,” you say, fighting back tears.
“You like it then?”
“I love it. Thank you,” you say sincerely. “Will you put it on me?”
Nat nods and takes the necklace from your hands. She unclasps it and stands behind you to put it around your neck. Her hands are gentle as she clasps the necklace and brushes against your skin.
“Beautiful,” she says when you stand and face her.
“You are, yeah,” you surprise her by saying. You dare to reach out for her hand. She takes it easily and interlocks your fingers. “I wish I got you something.”
“Oh, I think you just gave me the best gift,” Natasha says.
“I did?”
“Mhm,” she confirms. “Come here.”
Natasha leans in, pulling you closer to her with the hand that’s free by the back of your neck. Her gentle hand from before has a bit more urgency.
You can’t help but smile as she kisses your lips. Finally, both of you think. Finally.
“Merry Christmas, y/n,” Natasha says when she breaks for air.
“Merry Christmas, Natasha.”
It doesn’t take long before you add a photo of Natasha to the other side of your locket. She’s with you always. Right beside your heart.

Does Timmy have any regrets about becoming a fairy? Does he ever wish he never done it? Or at least wait until he was older?
The closest Timmy's ever gotten to wishing he had never done it was when his wings were growing out. He immediately felt guilt when he remembered about Peri. Timmy doesn't believe in having regrets. The only way through is forward, and the only way out is up!
If presented with a redo, Timmy would do it all over in a heartbeat.

Good mommy |
PAIRING:WANDA MAXIMOFF X FEM! READER
Summary: you convince Wanda to let you take charge this once and absolutely destroys her cuz of how excited and desperate you got
Warnings: smut so much smut, holy water is needed after you read this, multiple orgasms, hair pulling, over stimulation, reader being unintentionally rough but so much aftercare at the end > <
Author's note: just reminding you guys that my first language is not English, so if there are any grammatical errors PLEASE IGNORE THEM AND MOVE TF ON. Also I'm pretty fucking awkward when Im writing smut
Word count: 1.6k
_______________________________________________________________________________
You have no idea how, but Wanda agreed when you practically begged her on your knees to let you take charge today she was pretty indecisive at first but gave in when you constantly repeated the same line over and over again while sobbing "please mommy please I've been such a good girl" making her all hot and bothered at how her sweet girl wants to please her mommy so bad
You instantly took Wanda to the bedroom, laying her down on the bed gently. She looked up at you, not knowing about the vile thoughts going inside your mind about taking her
"You're sure you know how to do this honey?" she asks softly "Yes mama, I'm sure". You assured her knowing she was a bit nervous.
"Good because I only want you to do it if you're comfortable". It made your heart flutter thinking how much care Wanda has for you, she's really the best gf ever. "I want this I promise" you reassured her. "OK good, now go ahead you know where mommy keeps her toys. Go pick one of your favs" Wanda smirks as you practically run to the closet of your shared bedroom.
Wanda starts to undress as she waits for you on the bed while you shuffle through some things in the closet.
When you come back outside, you see a naked Wanda lying down on your bed, her legs open wide as she looks at the toy attached to you with a shocked face.
"Sweetheart, don't you think that's too big mommy isn't used to that" she says, a bit unsure of the size of the strap you picked
"Oh mommy it's not too big, come on it'll be so good" you say, coming towards her.
"Just trust me, okay", you kiss her for a bit and pull back, making her chase your lips, but your hands pull her back by her chest
She raised her eyebrows at the confidence you had all of a sudden when you bit down her neck, making her scream at the sudden sensation.
"fuck baby" Wanda groans as you take one of her nipples inside your mouth, kneading the other tit. She keeps whimpering as you switch between her tits, giving them the same attention.
Your left hand travels down between her hands as your right-hand pins her hands above her head.
Wanda moans out loud as she feels two of your fingers teasing her entrance and collecting her wetness
"fuck mommy you're so wet for me" you gasp as her juices practically drip down your fingers as you bring them to your mouth and suck them clean,
"You're already ready for my strap mommy" you push the tip of your strap as her eyes widen in surprise. As you slowly guide the strap inside, her tears came inside Wanda's eyes. She underestimated the size of the strap as now it was inside her, she could feel it in her lower belly. You gave her time to adjust. When Wanda starts rolling her hips, you take that as a sign to go on.
You took almost all the strap out except for the tip and snap back, hardly making her arch her back.
Your pace starts slow but hard as you fuck her. When Wanda starts matching your rhythm, you go on faster, fucking her roughly at the force which was making the bed move "y/n honey slow down". Wanda somehow manages to say between the moans "but mommy it feels so good please" you whine, holding onto her tightly, pounding her faster.
Wanda throws her head back, arching her back as she just let you do as you please, you bring your hand down to her clit and start circling her clit, Wanda jolted at the action "oh oh god I'm going to-" she screams as she cums hard all over your strap
Not giving her a chance you pull out and turn her around, so she's laying down on her stomach, you open her legs to get between them and align your strap to her entrance again putting it in all at once, making her clutch her eyes shut and grip the sheets beneath her, as you start pounding into her, you push her face into the pillow as she let out muffled screams, you would be lying if you say this wasn't the hottest thing you ever saw, just Wanda laying down beneath you her hands behind her back face in the pillow ass up, your strap going in and out of her at a merciless speed as she screams and cry for more "look at you mommy who would've known you were such a desperate slut" the degrading words only added fuel to the fire "my slutty mommy so good for her little girl just taking her strap so well" your smirk could be heard through your words and oh how badly Wanda wanted to wipe that off your face, but she had to agree it felt good it felt so, so good to just let go "y/n please" she let out a gasp "please what mommy?" you ask with fake innocence "you have a mouth use it to speak." you say as you pull her flushed against your front by her hairs and whisper in her ears "go on say it" pounding into her at an animalistic pace you yank her head "please honey let mommy come she needs it so bad" she whines, her demanding voice made you groan as you bit into her neck, your hand starts playing with her nipples as you fuck her faster knowing she's almost at her peak "go on mommy come for your girl" you whisper in her ears and she sat still her orgasm approaching her soon after making her scream out loud, you were sure the neighbors definitely heard it, but you didn't care, as Wanda went lump against your body you pull out of her slowly making her whince at the emptiness, you undid the harness and throw it away holding Wanda and carefully lying her down, she just closes her eyes still unable to speak "just lay down I'll bring a hot towel and water okay" you whisper softly as Wanda weakly nods
After a few minutes, she feels the bed dunk beside her. She flutters open her eyes and sees you with a towel, a glass of water and a smirk ofc "take that smirk off your face y/n" she whines as she takes the glass from you softly and drinks the water "Come on mommy you have to admit I'm a pretty good top" you say as you clean her up carefully and lay her down between your legs spooning her, taking the glass from her hand and putting it at the bedside table
"Sure you were sweetheart, but you have to understand mommy's still in charge here" she says, still in her flustered state, knowing she will most definitely ask you to take charge again in the future, but didn't want you to win this game "didn't seem like it when you were screaming and begging me to make you cum" you mumble hoping she didn't hear, she turns around and tilts her head "careful sweetheart mommy is too tired to punish her brat right now but if you keep being like that mommy will have to" she raises her eyebrows almost daring you to continue, but you knew better than to argue with mommy
"I'm gonna shutup now sorry". You do the mouth zipping gesture and wrap your arms around Wanda, pulling her in "goodnight mommy". You say as you kiss her head "goodnight sweetheart".

I NEED TO BE LOVED
summary : Selfishness is not important when it comes to wanting your partner's affection
warning(s) : subspace allusion, fluff
authors note : My first language is not English so this may contain grammatical errors
You and Wanda had a fight recently, you don't even remember how it started, and to be honest you're not mad anymore but Wanda is still mad.
Usually you would give her space and wait for things to calm down to talk about what happened.
However, right now you couldn't do it. Not when you had that pleasant dream, not when the first thing you did when you opened your eyes was want your mommy.
Your brain felt so cloudy, so moldable, so fragile... when you felt the spot next to you on the bed you knew.
A small, pitiful gasp escaped your lips along with the feeling of abandonment that settled in your heart. With hurried steps you walked through the house, feeling tears forming in your eyes, unable to find Wanda. But there she was, her presence illuminating the room where she was in front of her computer working, so oblivious to you. Maybe because she hadn't seen you, or maybe because she preferred not to have seen you. Wanda didn't pay attention to you. On the contrary, she continued with her work as if you weren't there. "Mommy" you said in a small little thread of voice, if only she could hear you... if only she would pay attention to you...
The minutes passed and your anxiety increased, along with the recurrence and the amount of tears scattered on your face, your heart was beating very fast when you decided to speak again "Mommy... please"
But there was no sound... just a look, a look that seemed serious but when you looked into her eyes you could tell, a silent invitation for you to come closer.
Crying harder you approached Wanda who took you in her arms and sat you on her lap, hiding your face in her neck you did nothing but continue crying, you loved her, you needed her, you needed to be one with her. The shrinking of your body against her lap and your anxious hands that did nothing but demonstrate your need prompted your girlfriend to speak.
"Has my baby had a rough day?" She asked running her hands through your hair tucking it behind your ear "feeling so needy for mommy, mm?"
"Don't worry, mommy's here" she said in a whisper with a sweet voice that melted your heart.
"I-I'm sorry for..." you said stumbling over your words but Wanda silenced you by putting a finger on your lips "Oh honey, you don't need to apologize. I know you didn't mean to do that. Don't worry. I made mistakes too, but it's okay. All is forgiven."

| THE MELODY OF HAPPINESS - Drabble (1.043 words).
| Summary - they've always assumed that you were mute until you finally let them hear the sound of your voice. A part of The place we've been dreaming of' universe.

| REQUEST GUIDELINES — ✧ — MASTERLIST — ✧ — TO SAY SOMETHING
Months went by, and the fall had still not come. But you are waiting for it, knowning that this moment will eventually come. It's inevitable, you know the rules like the back of your hand.
The first few days, they are always nice to you but it's only a matter of time before they reveal their true faces. At the first mistake, rewards were replaced by punishments, carresses by blows, and the sweet words by insults. You've fallen into the trap enough times to have learned your lesson.
At least, that's what you thought.
Months went by, and nothing bad happened to you. In fact, it was the opposite. The two women were great, and for the first time, it's not their hate toward you that has grown over time, but their love. Even the one called Natasha, who wouldn't allow you to be anywhere near her the first few weeks, surprinsgly changed her mind. She was now the one who sneaks you food under the table, the one who makes you sleep in her bed, who lets you eat all the sweets you want, and stay awake past the bedtime that Wanda has set up for you. Even if she was colder than the brunette, you liked it when it was just the two of you at home.
Not that you dislike Wanda, on the contrary, you like her just as much, but your relation is different. She is always watching you, and somehow always knowning what you need before you do. Despite the appearances, the witch is the stricted of the two. She has drawn up a list of rules for you to follow, and a strict schedule, she has read online that a routine was essential for pets, that it reduces stress.
And it was true. You've never been more content than since you've been with them, and even if some days are harder, you always know what to expect from them. You've quickly learned all the rules, even the unspoken ones, and you know how to earn the caresses you are craving for. Since you've been here, none of them has ever landed a hand on you, even when you accidentaly broke the rules. The angriest you've ever seen the women is when Wanda frowns, and Natasha mumbles in annoyance.
"Bunny, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating?" the brunette asked. When she lowered her head, she noticed that the food in your bowl was untouched, which was strange as she usually has to reprimand you for inhaling your food.
"Taste weird," you mumbled with tears in your eyes. There was something that you didn't like in your meal, but you couldn't exactly tell what it was. However, what they had in their plates smelled betterand you wanted it, even if it was, in fact, the exact same thing that was in yours.
You weren't crying for that thought. The tears were the result of your fears. It has been years since the last time you've talked. It has been so long that you are not even sure you ever learned to do it. They prefer it when your quiet so you made sure to keep it that way. You don't know what crossed your mind that night, but your recklessness may have cost you the cocoon you've built up over the last few months. Not only did you speak, but you complained, and asked for something that you know is forbidden.
"Let me give you som-," the woman stopped dead in her tracks when she realized that the few words she heard weren't your thoughts. It sounded raspy and uncertain, it has been so low that she wasn't sure if it was true or a trick of her mind. A glance at her wife, who was just as surprised, confirmed that she wasn't the only one who heard these words. "You ... baby, you can talk?" she softly asked, the disbelief written all over her face.
"SHE TALKED!" the redhead suddenly screamed, a wide smile spreading on her face as she realized what just happened. "She talked! Did you hear that, Wands?" she asked her wife who couldn't help but chuckles.
"Yeah, I've heard love," she replied before her gaze falls on you again. Except that you were not here anymore.
The second you heard the screams, you run away. You weren't supposed to do that either. When they found you, curled up in the corner of the room, concern gave way to a certain sadness. They may don't know your story, but they know all too well the life that pets like you have. It's rarely a pretty story.
It took a lot of time, and patience, from both of the women before they could hear the sound of your voice again. Now that they've heard it once, they wanted more. However, you weren't willing to give them what they wanted that easily, fearing they would get tired of you if you talked too much. But now that they knew that you were able to talk, it was unthinkable that they wouldn't train you to do it.
"Say it again," the woman whispered to you. You were both sitting at the foot of the sofa, a random show playing in the back, "I know you can do it. Repeat after me: fuc~," she said, but the redhead was stopped in the middle of her sentence by a blow at the back of her head. "What was that?!" she asked, glaring at the brunette.
"Stop teaching her such stupid words," she scolded the oldest. "You are supposed to help her learn usefull words!" she added, realizing that it has been a bad idea to let Natasha take care of that part of your training.
"That's not stupid stuff," she defended herself as she gestures toward you, encouraging you to repeat the forbidden word — Fuck. One laughed as she slips a sweet into your mouth, rewarding you for your effort, while the other one tried to keep a stern expression, rolling her eyes as she gets back to the kitchen.

I know the trope tends to be older woman covering the younger one in lipstick stains but I wanna do that to milf Wanda 🥺 Like I think it would make her all giggly and maybe make her feel like she’s doing one of the things she’s missed out on 👉👈
I got this a few days ago and I've simply never recovered so here's how I imagine this little interaction would go. Disclaimer that I took two mini naps writing this drabble and it's got 0 editing; it's just cute.
"What has gotten into you?"
Wanda giggled, barely getting the question out before you were on her again, covering her cheeks in quick, scattered kisses. She could feel your lipstick leaving smudges on her skin, warm and waxy red smudges she was much more used to leaving on you than receiving.
She'd pushed at your shoulders too lightly for it to really move you, the action futile considering how you'd caged her under you on the sofa just moments after you'd stumbled through Wanda's front door. "You're right here in kissing range so..."
The reasoning was silly, but Wanda couldn't expect much else after a night you'd spent out drinking with your friends. You'd invited her along, but Wanda had the twins this weekend so she declined, spending her night trying to forget how badly she hoped you'd come over whenever you were ready to leave.
Unfortunately you'd caught her on the couch waiting up for you, red robe wrapped around her freshly showered form— so much for coming off as nonchalant about the possibility of seeing you, more so having you end your night with her, in a house she'd like you to consider your home too.
Wanda smelled the alcohol on your breath even as your lips trailed down to her neck; whatever you'd drunk all night must've been sweet, a faint fruity scent accompanying the liquor- cute. "Were you a good girl tonight?"
The question caught you off guard, her firm hand catching your jaw and forcing your confused gaze back to her face. Wanda stared you down as seriously as an over-tired and now flushed in the face woman could at two in the morning waiting for you to give her the answer she waited for.
She'd know if you lied. She always knew.
"I didn't do anything with anyone else, if that's what you're asking." Wanda moved to caress your cheek and you were quick to nuzzle into her hand, her warm palm grounding your hazy focus. Arms weakening, you settled your weight between her legs and the rough denim scratching along your inner thighs sent a shiver up her spine so suddenly, her breath caught in her throat for a minute. "Look at you... you're so pretty, mommy."
"Shhh, honey, the boys are sleeping." Sweet as the rambly compliment was, your volume control wasn't proving to be great while drunk.
The gentle reminder left you pouting, nosing at the base of her throat apologetically. "I'll be quiet! Let me kiss you more? Preferably all over? Just for a little bit, then bedtime."
"Alright okay! So eager..." Wanda couldn't help but laugh as your attention turned to her sternum, fumbling hands already struggling with the knot of her robe, appreciating not only your adoration, but your blunt honesty.
Both were quite new to her relationship wise and she was quickly finding it to be very... fun; something she'd missed out on most times in her marriage. "But you're showering first thing in the morning; you smell like that bar."

If I said best song on TTPD, then what???
MCU (Female Reader X Wanda Maximoff)
Summary: You and Wanda Maximoff used to be something, but now that you're with Natasha Romanoff, Wanda can't stand by and let it happen.
Word Count: 1.4K
Content: Pissed Off Wanda, Manipulation, Cheating(?)
Wanda hated seeing you with Natasha.
She hated how the redhead whispered sweet nothings into your ear as you cooked dinner. She hated seeing how Natasha's arms held you tight after a mission. Wanda mostly hated how she looked at you. When Wanda truly looked at you. Wanda could see the pain hidden behind the glare.
Wanda hates how you treated her and how she treated you in return.
On top of that, she regrets calling it off too early. But now she hates the idea of you with someone else.
The images of you and Natasha are driving her crazy.
So, as she stands in front of her mirror in a white shirt and a lilac short skirt that fits her like skin, she smiles.
She's gonna get you back.
You're no better than a man when you see the way Wanda glides into the kitchen for breakfast. The body-hugging skirt leaves little to the imagination while making your mouth dry.
Wanda feels your gaze on her as she keeps her back to you. Using her magic to grab a bowl and spoon for cereal, keeping a laugh inside as she hears your thoughts.
You look away when she turns around but look right back up with a spoon clatters against the hardwood. You go red when you see Wanda bent over, picking up the spoon.
The color of her panties matches the skirt.
"Hey!" Natasha's voice makes you jump as she enters the kitchen with a smile. Wanda finishes gathering her cereal in the meantime. She knows this part of her plan worked just by how hard you're trying to keep your focus on Natasha and not Wanda and her body. "You woke up before me. That never happens!" Natasha makes a casual joke that you give a half-hearted chuckle at. "Yeah, just wanted an early start today, I guess."
Wanda takes one last look at you before she leaves the room. Your eyes catch her green ones, and you just about stop breathing when she winks at you.
"You're mine."
The following week, Stark is throwing a party for god knows what the occasion was, but it doesn't matter. You need something like this for one reason or another.
(Wanda and Wanda.)
So, as you walk with your arms linked with Natasha's, you find all eyes on the two of you. Natasha is dressed in a strapless thigh-high slit silver dress. You opted for an all-black tux that Natasha couldn't wait to tear off you later.
And you with her dress.
You smiled and kissed her cheek while she made small talk with colleagues, and you felt the burn of green eyes on you.
Wanda was stewing across the party, in a tight black dress that complimented your tux better than Natasha did. You and Natasha looked stunning.
She hated it.
So, with her mind on autopilot, Wanda downed the remainder of her glass and kept her burning desire trained on you.
After days of teasing, Wanda didn't feel close to accomplishing her goal. So, with misguided judgment, she rolled her tongue over her lips and found herself standing in the garage.
A golf club in her hand.
Luxury cars that Tony spent too much money on never to drive were the first pieces of machinery Wanda saw before she walked further and further down that aisle.
A loud click bounced off the walls with every step of her heels. Until. Wanda finally stopped in front of your bike.
Wanda remembers times when you'd spend all day with this stupid junk—fixing it up and taking it for a spin, being too loud and careless. God, Wanda hated it. But she also loved it because it made you happy.
But Wanda did at some point, too.
A memory of her arms wrapped around you while you sped around the compound plays out.
Wanda unconsciously screams and takes a swing, hitting the headlight right in the middle of the bike. Glass spraying around her. With a gasp, Wanda takes a step back, surprised by her actions, before she grips the club harder and swings for the fences.
39 times.
Wanda had a date a few weeks after Starks party. Your bike was totaled, and Wanda had another date.
You couldn't fucking believe it.
You felt like you had been going crazy with Wanda lately. She was gone one minute and was always around the next, in short skirts or revealing tops. Wanda was there. She acted friendly, and then, in a second, she couldn't stand you.
You couldn't make heads or tails of what was happening.
Was she getting me back?
One way or another?
You sighed as you sat down on your bed at the compound. Natasha was gone on a mission, and even if you wanted to talk to her, you couldn't really do it about Wanda.
You would be lying if you said you didn't miss Wanda at times when Natasha wouldn't get your jokes or how her and Wanda's idea of nights in were different.
On top of that, you missed Wanda's touch. You hate to say it, but you miss feeling her skin under your hand or hearing her whispered sighs escape through her lips.
You groan and lift up from the bed. You head down to the gym to distract yourself. It's empty when you get there and by the time you're finishing up. Yet, with your headphones in and your back to the door. You don't hear Wanda enter the room.
Wanda had listened to your thoughts repeatedly for the last two hours. She had smiled wide and touched herself briefly as your frustrated moans left you. She knew how close she was to getting you back.
So, as you hummed to your music, Wanda gently walked towards you.
You stopped and turned around when red magic surrounded the equipment you were using. "Wanda?" You questioned as you paused your music. She was wearing a black sports bra and bike shorts.
But god, did they stick to her like glue.
"Hi Y/n." Wanda moved closer. "What are you doing here?" You asked after swallowing your nerves and trying to keep your eyes from roaming her body. "Just thought I'd get a workout in before my date," Wanda said with a wide smile that upset you. Wanda's words were making you think twice about what happened between the two of you.
But one thing was for certain.
Her date could never do the things I could.
Wanda raised an eyebrow at that and stepped closer to you. "You've told your friends you hate me, but you love me just the same." You remained stoic even if your lips moved slightly. "Come on. Y/n.." Wanda practically moaned as she stepped closer again with a smirk. Bringing her hand up to your body and dragging her index finger from your chin to your breast.
Only stopping when you grabbed her.
"We tried the whole bygones will be bygones thing," Wanda said as she lifted her eyes from your sweaty and toned body to your beautiful eyes. Eyes she missed, looking at her with softness and lust. "I've tried harder than you." You said, making Wanda roll her eyes.
She was playing a game.
"I don't see what if done wrong," Wanda questioned. "I see the whispers in your eyes, baby. You want me." You dropped Wanda's hand and shook your head. Your thoughts descending into actions of you taking Wanda right here and now mixed with Natasha and her broken heart. "You're poison." You speak with your face inches from Wanda's. "I'm poison either way." Wanda's words cut through you easily.
She'll always be around whether she taints your thoughts and actions or keeps to herself. Wanda will always be there.
"You have someone." You say, but Wanda laughs. "You have someone, too."
You should leave, but you can't bring yourself to do it.
Wanda smiles before she pulls you forward and collides your lips with hers. A simple thing turns into a heated make-out session that leaves both breathless.
And yet Wanda pushes you away when you reach for her shorts. "I need to get started on my workout." She says with a breath between each third word. You shake your head and try again, but Wanda stops you. "Oh, honey..." Wanda coos. "You didn't think it would be that easy. Did you?" You stare at Wanda as she clicks her tongue. "I always have the upper hand, Y/n."
Wanda then looks outside as a Quinjet flies by. You're too busy scanning Wanda's face.
"Looks like she's home," Wanda says as she turns back to you. "And don't worry, I won't say anything." Wanda shrugs before turning away, leaving you standing still as your fingers touch your lips. Still a taste of Wanda. "Oh, and Y/n."
You pull your eyes to her.
"I'm gonna get you back."

Falling for Christmas
Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
When you wake up from an accident, you don’t remember who you are. A local ski lodge owner helps you find yourself
Note: Yes, this is based on the very cheesy movie on Netflix with the same name. Some big plot differences, but cheesy all the same. Enjoy!
Natasha Masterlist 1, Natasha Masterlist 2, Natasha Masterlist 3, Main Masterlist
Your life was perfect. You had everything you wanted. And everything you wanted came easy to you. So, why are you waking up now in a hospital bed so confused?
The doctors try to calm you down, but you keep incessantly asking why you are here. It isn’t until a beautiful red headed woman walks in that anyone answers your question.
“Hey, you’re okay,” the woman says. “You just had an accident.”
“What kind of accident?” You ask. You feel a pounding in your head. Undoubtably, you feel sure you have a concussion.
“A skiing accident. At my lodge,” she says. She walks further into the room and asks the doctors and nurses to leave you be.
“Thanks,” you remark.
“No problem. I’m Natasha.” She holds out her hand for you to shake. You take it and feel a shock of electricity in your veins.
“Hi Natasha. I'm- I- well-”
“The doctors were worried you might have had some amnesia.”
You shake your head and drop her hand. You have no idea who you are. The beautiful woman, Natasha, excuses herself to talk with the doctors again. They come in to tell you that you can stay here or go stay at her lodge until someone comes to claim you or you get your memories back.
“No offense, but I don’t know you,” you say.
“Well, you don’t know anyone,” Natasha counters. You want to make some snarky reply, but she keeps talking. “Maybe coming back to the lodge will spark some memories for you. We have plenty of extra rooms.”
“That would be good for her. She needs to get into a routine doing normal things,” the doctor explains. “Natasha will take good care of you.”
“Thanks, Monica,” Natasha says. The woman nods and leaves the room.
After a couple of hours, you are discharged from the hospital. Natasha drives you to the lodge in an old truck. Part of you wants to ask for more details about this woman, but the other part of you is just ready to sleep and try to forget this is happening.
“So, we’ll set you up here,” Natasha says, opening the door of a suite. “My sister stays here a lot when she’s in town and she’s picky, so this is the best room in the place.”
You manage to smile at that. Natasha walks further into the room and you follow her around. She tells you she’ll bring you some clothes to wear and to call her if you need help with anything.
You turn in for the night without much fuss. The next morning, you put on some of Natasha’s clothes and go to the lobby.
“Good morning,” Natasha greets you. She is wearing a sweater that looks extremely cozy. You’re not sure why your brain thinks about how it would feel to hug her while she is wearing it.
“Hey Nat,” you say. She smiles at the nickname. “Is there coffee?”
“Oh, yes,” Nat chuckles. “Caffeine addict Clint over here couldn’t live without it.”
“I’m Clint,” the man working the front desk tells you.
“I’m-” you stop, still not sure what your name is. “Sorry.”
“No worries,” Nat reassures you. “Let’s get you that coffee.”
You follow her into the dining area, but she keeps walking to the kitchen. She enters with ease and greets several people on the way to the back.
“Danvers, I need your best cup of coffee,” she tells a tall blonde woman. The woman grins.
“Coming right up, Romanoff.” She turns around with a mug full of coffee that smells amazing. “Special guest?”
“Something like that,” Nat replies. “This is Carol the head chef.”
“Hi,” you say to her. Your eyes catch a pendant necklace resting against her skin. “I love that necklace.”
“Oh, thank you. My wife got it for me when our daughter graduated medical school,” Carol explains. Her smile is the brightest one you’ve ever seen.
Natasha takes you to the sitting room where a fire burns and there are walls of books.
“I have to take care of some things, but you make yourself at home. Feel free to explore the lodge. We have horses around back and whatever you’d like to eat or drink is on us,” Natasha says.
There’s a comfort you feel around her that you really can’t describe. But you’re sad to see her go. Though she walks by throughout the day, you feel like you didn’t get much of a chance to see her.
Dinnertime comes and she finally gets a moment to stop. She plops down in the chair across from you and smirks at the way you fell asleep in the chair with a book open.
“Hey,” she says gently trying to stir you awake. “Sleeping beauty, it’s dinnertime.”
“That’s a good name for her,” Clint says. “Especially since you think she’s cute.”
“What? I don’t- it’s not-”
“You totally think that,” the newest member of the team, Kate, pipes in. “As you should though. She is beautiful. And hopefully single.”
Nat raises her brow at the girl. “Should I tell Yelena about this exchange?”
“Please don’t,” Kate says, her face going white.
Everyone laughs at that and you stir awake. You're met with a smiling Natasha.
“Hey there,” Nat says. “Join us for dinner?”
You expect to go the dining room, but Natasha leads you to the next building over. She opens the door to reveal a Hallmark level decorated living room and kitchen.
“This is where I stay when I’m at the lodge,” Nat explains.
“You don’t stay here year-round?”
“I have family in Ohio, so I spend some time there in the summer.”
“Your sister?”
“She actually spends time all over the world, but my parents live in Ohio. It's glamorous,” she jokes. “Carol made us some dinner.”
“Aw man, I thought you would be cooking,” you tease her.
“Oh, you do not want that,” she replies, throwing her head back laughing. You don’t remember, but you have a feeling you haven’t made anyone laugh like that lately.
Dinner is going smoothly with small talk and Natasha telling you about the wildest things that have happened to her since running the lodge. But you’re interrupted at dessert time by a knock on the door.
Nat excuses herself and opens the door to be met with three children tumbling through it.
“What are you guys doing here?” Natasha asks excitedly. She hugs the older two kids and picks the youngest one up. “How is my namesake doing?”
“So good, Auntie Nat!” The little boy says. You watch on with a smile, but something twinges in your gut at the sight of family. He catches your eye and points to you. “Who’s that?”
“That is Auntie Nat’s new friend,” she explains. She tries to put the little boy down, but he hangs on tight. The girl, maybe a preteen, sticks close to her as well. “These are Clint’s kids. Cooper is the one too cool to be here, Lila is the best girl, and this guy here is Nathaniel.”
“Hello,” you tell them.
“Hi, sorry for interrupting dinner,” Lila says. She seems sweet.
“No worries at all,” you say. “I think I'm going to head back to my suite.”
“Oh,” Nat reacts. She puts Nate down after some protesting by the kid. “You don’t have to leave. They just only see me a few times a year, so they get excited when they do.”
“That’s sweet,” you say. There is that twinge again. “I think- um- I think my brain is trying to process some stuff so I just-”
“Need some space?” Nat asks.
“Yeah. Thank you for today, Natasha. I had fun.”
“Of course,” she says, helping you to the door. “Oh hey, if you hear anyone calling you Sleeping Beauty I might be to blame.”
“I’m not even going to ask,” you joke. Natasha chuckles and you try to memorize the sound.
The next few days go by without anything too exciting happening. You meet Carol’s wife Maria, Clint’s wife Laura, and even Natasha’s sister makes it into town. You really like Yelena.
And you find yourself now sitting by the fire with all of them. Carol and Maria sit close together. Clint and Laura do the same, watching their kids play. Natasha sits by herself, but close to where Yelena and Kate are snuggling tentatively.
“So, you don’t remember anything?” Maria asks you.
“Not really,” you say. “I just get gut feelings. Like seeing you all with your families, I think I have family.”
“I’m sure you do,” Laura says. “We’re your family in the meantime.”
“Yeah. We are always here for each other,” Carol adds.
“Speaking of,” Yelena starts. “How are you doing this holiday season, Natasha?”
You figure she is referring to the lodge or maybe the busyness of the season, but when Natasha’s eyes drop you realize there is something more.
“I’m good,” she says. No one believes her. Not even you.
“Natasha,” Clint begins but he’s interrupted by Nat.
“I just said I'm fine. Can we drop it?”
She stands up and disappears into the kitchen. The group sighs and you look around confusedly. Something more is definitely up here. You excuse yourself and follow after Nat. You find her placing cookies on a tray.
“Hey, are you alright?” You ask her. She wipes a silent tear from her cheek. “Sorry, obviously you are not. But I wanted to make sure you weren’t not okay all alone.”
“That’s kind,” Nat replies. “I- it’s hard for me to talk about.”
You nod. Although you don’t remember your life, you’re sure you have your own set of things that are hard to talk about.
“You don’t have to talk about the sad parts,” you say. “But if there was any joy in there it is probably worth telling. Tragedy is only tragic because it was once beautiful.”
“Poetic,” Nat teases. You smile at her. She feels comfortable. She takes a deep breath. “I was married. Very happily. And she- um- she got sick a few years ago.”
“I’m so sorry,” you say, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“She passed away last fall,” Nat says. “I actually didn’t even celebrate Christmas last year.”
“That’s understandable.”
“Yeah, but I realized it made my friends and family miserable too. So, I tried to be more festive this year. It wasn’t going that great until I met you, but now I feel like I have a reason to celebrate again,” Natasha explains.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” she says. “I know it sounds fucked up to be glad you ended up here with no memories, but-”
“No, actually I am glad I did too. I’ve met so many wonderful people. Especially you.”
You are standing close to each other now. Nat starts to lean in, but she stops a couple inches shy of your lips.
“I don’t know if you are with someone, so if you are I don’t want to cross that line,” she explains.
“Oh, yeah. No, I guess that makes sense,” you say.
“We should get back out there.”
The next few days are lighter on your heart. You spend time with all of the wonderful people you’ve met, and get geared up for a Christmas Eve party that the lodge always hosts. You help decorate, prepare food, and pick out clothes for everyone to wear.
Walking into the room now you see Natasha standing by the bar. She looks breathtaking. She thinks the same about you.
“Wow,” Nat says, approaching you with a grin. “You are beautiful.”
“I can say the same about you, Natasha.” A blush hue finds its way onto her cheeks.
“Looking good, SB,” Carol says, her arm interlocked with Maria’s.
“Told you the nickname would catch on,” Nat says.
The party is going well for a few hours until a man you don’t recognize, the doctor you do recognize, and a woman that seems strangely familiar enter the lodge.
“Y/n!” The woman calls out to you.
Everything clicks. Your name, your family, who you are. And your girlfriend.
“Wanda,” you say.
“She does remember!” Wanda says to the doctor. She pulls you into a hug. Funny, it doesn’t feel like it used to.
“What’s happening?” Carol asks. “Monica, you know her?”
“I do, Mom. These folks were looking for our Sleeping Beauty. I treated her at the hospital and knew I’d find her still here,” Monica explains.
“We can go home now,” Wanda says, pulling your hand. “Pietro, get the car running.”
“Wait, I'm sorry,” you say. “Natasha.”
“Who?” Your girlfriend asks.
“Hey,” the redhead steps into your view. “Y/n. That’s a good name.”
“I guess so. Although, I liked being a princess.”
“Ah, you’re still a princess,” Nat says. She looks at you with sadness in her eyes. “Go on now.”
“Thank you for everything,” you tell her. And then turn to the group. “Thank you to all of you.”
Wanda pulls you away before you can say any true goodbyes. You go with her and the three of you end up at the resort just down the road. Your parents own this, you remember.
A few days pass, but you don’t feel that normal. Things felt better at Natasha’s lodge.
She feels the same way. Things were better with you there. Clint comes in to find her slouched over the counter.
“You should reach out to her,” Clint says. “
“She has a whole life,” Nat says. “Apparently a big one.”
She had looked you up on Google and went on a deep dive of your social media presence. The daughter of hotel mogul, she felt sure you didn’t want her in your life. But, god, is she wrong.
“Kind of breaking HIPAA here,” Carol eavesdrops and speaks. “But Monica told Maria y/n has another appointment before she leaves town.”
“When did everyone decide to eavesdrop?” Nat asks.
“When you fell in love with her,” Yelena replies, seemingly appearing out of thin air. “Go get her.”
Natasha nods. She wants this. She drives across town and parks out in front of your dad’s resort not caring that her truck might get towed.
“Y/n,” she calls after you, seeing part of you slipping into the elevator. She runs and slips in just before it closes.
“Natasha?”
“Hi,” she says. “I needed to see you.”
“I’m listening.”
“I couldn’t let you leave. Not when I’m falling in love with you,” she says. “And I know you have Wanda, but-”
“Actually, we broke up,” you say.
“Oh.”
“Yeah, we never made any sense,” you explain. “Continue about the in love with me thing.”
“Right,” Nat says. “Maybe I should just kiss you?”
“That would be perfect.”
Natasha takes your face in her hands and leans in. She wastes no time deepening the kiss and your knees threaten to buckle beneath you.
“Come home with me, y/n?” Nat asks when you break the kiss.
“I’d love to, Natasha.”

Can't stop thinking of Natasha smirking at Wanda when the waiter gives her the bill.
"Looks like everyone knows I'm the one in charge" Natasha teases, while Wanda is silently amused. You watch, knowing this simply cannot end well.
3 hours later, Natty has her ass up and knees trembling while Wanda is leaning over behind her, whispering in her ear with a massive grin. "Still think you're in charge baby?"
You're in awe of how sweet and subby Natasha truly is, and can't help but shove her pretty face between your legs <33

Did Peri tell Timmy that he was planning to become a Fairy Godparent/that he was assigned a godkid? When we first see the fam reunite in the series, Cosmo and Wanda didn't seem to know.
Timmy had known Peri might pursue becoming a godparent, because Peri had consulted with him about career tracks!! And like. Being the only one invited to Peri's college graduation tends to give Timmy more insight than his parents. Special older brother privileges.
As for being assigned a Godkid, Timmy sorta... Stumbled into it. He found out long before Peri was told he had been given an assignment!

What We Have Left
Pairing: Agatha Harkness x Reader
Summary: After surviving the Witches' Road, you and Agatha find solace in caring for each other as you navigate the aftermath—her haunted by nightmares and you recovering from near-fatal injuries. (canon-divergence)
Warnings: physical hurt (R), emotional hurt (A), comfort
Words: 1.4k
A/N: Another request fic :) It took me so long to figure out how Agatha and Reader could survive without taking away from Agatha's character arc so it's as close to canon as possible.
AO3 | Master List
After the chaos of what happened with Rio and Billy, you don’t know exactly how you survived. The last thing you remember is the weight of magic swirling violently around you, the air crackling with danger. Agatha had been ready to sacrifice herself, a final act of redemption that would have consumed her completely. But something had shifted in the moments before her fate was sealed—your desperate magic, unpredictable and wild, surged in response to her intent. In a flash, it felt as though time bent, reality warping around you both. A surge of energy, as if the universe itself had decided you were both not yet finished, had pulled you from the brink of destruction.
But it had also sent you flying backward.
You’d crashed into a jagged outcrop of stone, your already fragile body sustaining more injuries. A deep wound had opened along your side, nearly severing you in half, and your chest felt like it was caving in with each strained breath. It wasn’t just exhaustion; it was the real fear that you wouldn’t make it. You were too close to death, the darkened edge of your vision creeping in, when Agatha’s hand in yours had pulled you back from that final brink. You weren’t sure how, but it felt like she was holding you together in those final moments before you slipped into unconsciousness.
—
Your injuries keep you from being able to get upstairs, so you spend your days and nights on the couch trying to recover. Agatha promises to stay close, swearing she’ll sleep in the armchair beside you. But every night, you wake to find her pacing instead, her movements restless and agitated, her silhouette framed by the faint light above the stove.
The house is quiet tonight, save for the rhythmic sound of Agatha pacing in the next room. The soft creak of the floorboards betrays her unease, a subtle sound that feels much louder in the stillness. You know the routine by now—she doesn't scream out or cry, but she can’t seem to stay still. She’s trying to outrun something, her breath coming quicker, hitching in the air as though there's a monster that won’t let her rest. The nightmares are worse tonight. You can feel her anxiety through the walls—a tension in the house that makes it hard to breathe.
You lie back on the couch, a thin blanket draped over your legs, shifting carefully to avoid pulling at the bandages wrapped around your ribs. The dull ache is persistent, a reminder of what the Road has taken. What it has demanded.
“You’re awake.”
Her voice startles you, and you turn your head to see her standing in the doorway. She looks dishevelled, her hair wild and her lips chewed raw. Agatha Harkness, once a picture of control and sharp wit, seems smaller these days. Her sharp, calculating eyes are clouded now.
“So are you,” you reply softly, watching as she crosses the room and lowers herself into the chair beside you.
She looks at the floor, fidgeting with the hem of her sweater. “I didn’t mean to wake you. The dreams... They’re worse tonight.”
You reach out, your fingers brushing hers gently. “You didn’t wake me. Couldn’t sleep from the pain anyway.”
Her eyes flick to your bandages, her gaze lingering on the blood seeping through them. Her face tightens in frustration, but there’s something darker beneath the surface—a flicker of panic in her eyes. Her hands tremble as they hover near your side, as though she wants to help but is afraid to make things worse. She’s breathing faster now, her chest rising and falling with each uneven inhale. “You’re still in pain.”
“It’s manageable,” you lie, though you know she can see right through you. She always does.
Agatha stands abruptly, her movements sharp. “Let me change the dressing. It’ll help.” She doesn’t wait for you to agree, disappearing into the kitchen and returning with the first aid kit.
She kneels by your side, her hands surprisingly gentle as she helps you sit up, unwrapping the bandages with practiced precision. Her fingers linger on the jagged cut running along your side.
“This one’s healing slower than the others,” she mutters, more to herself than to you.
You wince as she cleans the wound, but you keep your focus on her face. Her brow is furrowed, her lips pressed into a tight line. She is concentrating, but you can see the tremor in her hands.
“Agatha.”
She doesn’t look up. “Almost done.”
“Agatha.” Your voice softens. “It wasn’t your fault.”
Her hands still. For a moment, the only sound is your breathing, uneven and shallow. Then she shakes her head. “It was, though. I led us there. I put you in danger.”
“And we both survived,” you counter. “That’s what matters.”
She finishes rewrapping the bandage in silence, her hands lingering on your side before pulling away. She sits back on her heels, staring at the floor.
You reach for her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Do you want to talk about it?”
She hesitates, her eyes flickering toward the window as if searching for an escape. But then her gaze softens, and she looks back at you. “I see them, you know,” she says quietly. “In my dreams. The ones we lost. Lilia, Alice, Mrs. Ha—Sharon... I see them; I hear their voices.”
Her voice cracks, and she quickly looks away, but not before you catch the glint of tears in her eyes.
You lean forward, wincing as pain flares in your ribs. “They don’t blame you, Agatha. None of them do.”
“How would you know?” she whispers, her tone tinged with bitterness. “You can’t know.”
“Because I know you,” you say firmly. “And I know you did everything you could.”
Her expression crumbles, and for a moment, she looks so much younger, so much more fragile than you’ve ever seen her. The indomitable Agatha Harkness, finally undone by the weight of her own guilt.
You cup her face with your hand, your thumb brushing away a tear that slips free. “Agatha,” you murmur, your voice soft. “You don’t have to carry this alone.”
“And what about you?” Her eyes open, sharp and searching. “You’re the one who nearly died, and you’re still acting like you have to take care of me.”
“I want to take care of you,” you say simply.
“I’m not sure I deserve it,” she murmurs, her voice cracking. Her hands shake slightly as she tugs at the hem of her sweater, the fabric clutched too tightly in her fists as if trying to steady herself. She won’t look at you, but you can see the tremor in her jaw. It’s a subtle thing, but you know that she’s fighting against something much bigger than just guilt. There’s a panic beneath it, a fear that maybe she can never escape what happened, that the person she is now—the one who’s failed so many—is someone who doesn’t deserve forgiveness, or love, or even peace.
“Too bad,” you say with a weak smile.
Agatha’s hand comes to rest over yours, holding it against her cheek. “You’re a stubborn witch,” she says, a hint of her usual wit breaking through.
“Takes one to know one,” you reply, your smile growing.
For a long moment, the two of you stay like that, the silence between you no longer heavy but filled with something softer.
“I didn’t actually know what I wanted from the Road,” you say suddenly, the words tumbling out before you can stop them.
Agatha’s eyes open, and she looks at you with a mixture of curiosity and concern. “What do you mean?”
“I thought I wanted knowledge,” you admit. “Or power. Or maybe to finally understand myself.” You hesitate, searching for the right words. “My magic’s always been... all over the place. Never strong enough in one area to fit anywhere. Protection spells don’t hold long, potions are hit or miss, divination’s a disaster... I thought the Road could give me something to make me belong.”
“And did it? Since Billy’s maybe made it real and all that,” she asks softly.
You nod your head. “Yes. It gave me you.”
Her breath hitches, and for a moment, you think you’ve said too much. But then she leans forward, her lips brushing against yours in a kiss so gentle it makes your heart ache.
It isn’t a kiss born of desperation or passion. It’s something quieter, something fragile. A shared promise that, no matter how broken the two of you might be, you’ll face it together.
When she pulls back, her hand lingers on your cheek. “I don’t deserve you,” she murmurs.
“You do,” you say firmly.
For a long moment, she’s silent, her lips pressed together as she absorbs your words. You can almost see her mind racing behind her eyes, calculating the weight of your reassurance. Her expression shifts just slightly, and for the first time since the Road, you see a flicker of something like peace in her gaze—a brief, fragile relief that she doesn’t have to bear the whole world’s weight on her shoulders alone. It’s like she’s finally starting to believe it. Then she exhales a shaky breath and stands, pulling the blanket up to cover you more securely.
“Get some rest,” she says softly. “I’ll be here.”
“And you?” you ask, catching her hand before she can pull away. “Will you sleep?”
Her lips twitch into a small, reluctant smile. “Maybe.”
“Liar,” you tease gently.
She sighs, her thumb brushing over your knuckles. “I’ll try. For you.”
She stays by your side that night, her hand clasped in yours as you drift into a fitful but comforting sleep. Whatever the Road has taken from you, it has left this: a bond forged in fire, unshakeable and enduring.
