i've got a question for both kpop group, but idk if it's answerable (sorry i feel like that's not a word) ; what was your impression of each other ? like band-wise or maybe some knew each other while still being a trainee ? thanks youu ! <33
Q: What were your impressions of each other?
Seungho: I knew Alex, Jaehyun, and [name], but I did not meet the others until after we all joined the group. Alex was nice but he seemed like a nerd.
Alex: Excuse me, what??
Seungho: Jaehyun was quiet, but once I got him talking about his favorite animal he would never shut up.
Jaehyun: But I love dogs...
Alex: Are you ignoring me??
Seungho: As for [name]...
Seungho looks directly at the camera, a small smile growing on his face.
Seungho: When I first saw her, I thought she was pretty...nice. Pretty and nice.
The interviewer is about to ask a question, mouth open, but Alex interrupts.
Alex: SEUNGHO, you do NOT get away with calling me nerd! I'm not a nerd!
Seungho: Says yourself!
Alex: BUT for the record, I did think you were really cocky and a jerk as a trainee.
Now it is Seungho's turn to scoff.
Seungho: I was one of your only friends.
Alex: That is true, but it was still rude anyway.
Seungho: Alright, alright, I'm sorry.
As if realizing that they are off-topic, Seungho and Alex both cough awkwardly and look at the camera.
Seungho: But—well, as for ST4RDOM...I thought they were pretty cool. Music was solid, maybe their inflection could be better—
Vi: What.
It appears Seungho had spoken his thoughts aloud, and as soon as he realizes his fatal mistake he quickly backtracks.
Seungho: I MEAN, their music is good. That's it. Not like I have any other comments about them. Nope. None.
Vi's eyes narrow, and Nari lets out an indignant scoff.
Alex: ...okay then...I didn't start listening to them until I found out we were going to have an interview with them.
PK, Luc: Same.
The two look at each other. Even Alex goes quiet for a moment, but he bounds back with his own explanation.
Alex: I've never really taken the time to listen to other k-pop groups' songs since I am usually focused on perfecting ours.
Interviewer: Did you not have enough time or were you unaware of them?
Alex: Well, I definitely knew who they were since ST4RDOM is known internationally, but I never had the time to listen to their music. Sorry.
Sofie: You don't need to apologize.
Vi: I never listened to your songs anyway, so...
Alex: ...
Gavin: Did we ever talk to each other, Sofie?
Sofie: I don't remember. Maybe I saw you once or twice, but we never talked to each other or else I would remember if we did.
Gavin: I thought we did?
Sofie shrugs.
Gavin: Okay, well, I thought ST4RDOM was a good group. I thought I spoke to Sofie before, so that was why I liked the group, but I guess we didn't. Either way, they're good.
Interviewer: Jaehyun, Mingyu, what about you?
Jaehyun: Isn't this a personal question?
Interviewer: What do you mean?
Jaehyun: I mean, obviously I think they're a perfectly fine group who balance each other out well, but this question is just...too...what's the word?
Mingyu: Exposing?
Jaehyun: Exactly.
Mingyu: Think whatever you think, but honestly I've never really bothered to listen to their music. So I don't really have an opinion on that, but as people I think they are all polite and nice. Vi aside.
Vi: Hey, I'm right here, you know.
Mingyu only smiles, reaching forward to grab a bottle of water.
Interviewer: ST4RDOM, what about you? What were your opinions about KMonarchs?
Sofie: Okay, first, before I make my opinion on how I feel about them, I just want to say that I agree with Jaehyun. However, that does not mean that I'm going to avoid the question. Band-wise, you all make pretty good albums. I have only listened to a couple of them once, but the songs are not bad, per say. Individually, I have a LOT of opinions, but that would be a personal attack and this is getting recorded as I speak.
Sofie glances at the camera and her glare is effective on shutting the interviewer up.
Sofie: So I won't say anything. But in my opinion, KMonarchs make music that I feel is quite similar to ours, though we like to mix it up every now and then.
Vi: I'll take the burden and say it right now: every single one of them is handsome.
Nari: And cute.
Alex: What the—
Jaehyun: WHAT.
Mingyu: Oh???
Seungho: Really?
Unsurprisingly, Seungho smirks. People are laughing, shouting and speaking over one another trying to get clarification from the two girls. Even Sofie is laughing and Gracie watches, amused. Some of ST4RDOM's staff look horrified at the girls' words, Chang-ho in the middle of facepalming. Vi leans back, folding her arms as she smiles.
Vi: I said what I said.
This adds more fuel to the fire.
Interviewer: Alright, everyone PLEASE calm down!
The interviewer stands up, and soon people go quiet. Gavin coughs, holding up a fist to his mouth to muffle his dwindling laughing as Mingyu snorts at the attempt. Seungho still has the same arrogant smirk regardless.
Interviewer: I think it would be best if we just move on.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about how the characters could have avoided their fates if they had just done something different (usually gay sex) but that defeats the whole purpose of the inevitability of it all. I’m not being clear, let me try again.
The decisions each character makes are theoretically easily avoidable, except that these choices that doom them are the same choices that are inherently tied to who they are and if they did not make those decisions then they would no longer be the same characters on a fundamental level. Take Goncharov himself as an example.
The decisions that sealed his fate can basically be summed up as his desire to create a legacy that transcends time and will essentially immortalize him. (Don’t tell me you didn’t notice the weird amount of portraits and statues he had of himself, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg) It’s this drive that leads to him never truly opening up to Andrey, allowing his relationship with Katya to deteriorate, send Ice Pick Joe to kill and kill over and over again until Joe loses every trace of his humanity, and underestimate Mario. Any one of these decisions seem stupid and avoidable, except that would mean betraying his desire to transcend time and break the clocks. That would then mean that Goncharov would lose the thing that would have made him Goncharov. He never would’ve taken over Naples, never would’ve been the man to gain such loyalty from the rest of the characters, and probably never would’ve even have made it out of Russia. Would his story have been less tragic? Yes. Would that have been enough? Not for Goncharov
I feel like I’ve made my point, but I’ll do this for a few more characters just for fun
Ice Pick Joe was SO CLOSE to breaking the cycle of violence! I was screaming at the screen. It would have been as easy as stepping on that train and never looking back. But he didn’t do that. Why? Because of his commitment. He’s started something and he was going to see it through to the end even if it killed him. If it weren’t for that commitment he wouldn’t be Ice Pick Joe. He wouldn’t have worked so hard and crossed all the lines that he did in order to send money to his family. He would’ve given up all those many years ago when he found himself in a hopeless situation without a weapon, but it was that very commitment that lead him to picking up an ice pick of all things, cross lines that no one else was willing to cross, and get the job done. It may have killed him in the end, but he only got to be where he was because of who he was and what made him Ice Pick Joe was his commitment.
Katya’s problems all would’ve been solved if she had just ran off with Sofia and never looked back. It’s a little bit more difficult to put her fatal flaw into words, but it’s very similar to Joe’s. Whereas Joe’s flaw was commitment, I’d say Katya’s is loyalty. It seems like the same thing but while Joe is motivated by duty and responsibility, Katya is more motivated by genuine passion and belief. She wants everyone to believe she is the ice queen, and she does usually make her decisions based off of sound logic, but what gives her the motivation to do so are her strong emotions. She truly believes that Goncharov is capable of achieving what he sets out to do and after so many years by his side she will see him accomplish that lasting legacy even if she finds the idea to be self-aggrandizing. She also put in so much work herself into building up the crime family in Naples. She sacrificed her home in her beloved Russia in order to make a home here and she is not going to throw it out the window. She also believes that Sofia could never truly be happy away from her home town, so her loyalty to Sofia means that Katya would never make the selfish decision to take her away from Naples even without Goncharov. Katya ran away from home to marry Goncharov, she ran away from Russia to Naples, she’s (figuratively) running away from her marriage through her relationship with Sofia, she is not going to be running away from her new home. She’s lost so much of herself over the years, staying loyal to the things that she can is the only way she can regain her identity, not realizing until it’s too late that the most important person for her to be loyal to is herself.
Sofia’s fatal flaw is her honesty. She gets what she wants because she is unapologetically honest about what it is she truly wants and goes after it with determination and drive. Everyone who knows her knows that they can trust her to never lie to them. It baffles dishonest people who she’d rather avoid if she could, and attracts fellow honest people that she knows she can rely on. Just because she’s honest doesn’t mean that she isn’t able to notice when other people aren’t so it’s a pretty good system. It doesn’t cause her any real trouble until Katya is both entranced and overwhelmed by Sofia’s sincerity and depth of feeling for her. Sofia’s usually pretty good at knowing just how honest she needs to be, but not with Katya. Sofia has a want, expresses the want, and will honestly pursue that want for as long as there’s a glimmer of hope for her to achieve it. This openness and ability to acknowledge uncomfortable truths is what makes the rejection and betrayal shatter her so completely. Sofia’s honesty is what makes her Sofia and her honesty is what destroys her
Andrey’s fatal flaw is his greed. Not just his greed for money, but his greed for power, status, recognition, and (Goncharov’s) attention. Unlike Goncharov, Andrey doesn’t care about how he’s remembered so long as he gets the life that he wants now. Goncharov tries to defy time by trying to become immortal (as if he wasn’t gay enough already, I’m only now seeing all of the Dorian Gray parallels), Andrey tries to defy time by fully embracing the present. While this greed has served him well for most of his life and has gotten him so close to where he wants, it can’t quite get him all the way there with Goncharov. So his greed leads him to other places. This leads him to make decisions that are good for him in the short term, are what ultimately lead to his death. Greed made Andrey who he was, but also made all of the betrayal and pain in his path inevitable. There was no way for Andrey to avoid his fate because his greed made his death necessary and without his greed Andrey would not be Andrey
Long story short, Goncharov is a modern Greek tragedy
#Sorry if this doesn’t make sense or if I missed your fav character#i’m tired#goncharov#unreality#If you like modern Greek tragedy you should watch Arcane#Seriously#watch arcane#katya goncharov#ice pick joe#Andrey#sofia goncharov

NITA STRAUSS To Undergo Surgery For Torn Meniscus
Former Alice Cooper and current Demi Lovato guitarist Nita Strauss will undergo surgery for a torn meniscus in late December. The procedure will take place seven months after she first sustained the injury while on the road with Cooper.
Earlier today, Strauss, who has been the in-house guitarist for Los Angeles Rams football games since the team moved to SoFi Stadium in 2020, took to her Instagram to share a video update on her injury. She said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I have a little knee update, for those who've been wondering. I did have my pre-op last week, and, unfortunately, it didn't go exactly as I hoped it would. According to my doctor, eight months of performing on a torn meniscus did not do my any favors. The injury has not improved; unfortunately, it's gotten worse. So surgery has had to be pushed to the end of the year — after Christmas, after the last Rams game — and then it'll be a full month before I can do anything at all again. So no shows, no performing, no nothing. I'm super disappointed at that; I was hoping to already be on the mend by now. But it is what it is."
Nita previously discussed her torn meniscus in October in an interview with Meltdown of Detroit's WRIF radio station. At the time she said: "I'm babying myself right now because I've been touring with a torn meniscus since May. So I'm actually not as injury prone as I usually would be, because I'm taking it a little easier. I have surgery scheduled at the end of this tour, between Rams games and everything else I have going on. So right now I've been playing through the most serious injury I've ever had and really just trying to take care of that, make sure it doesn't get worse before it gets better."
Asked if she has had to take cortisone shots in order to deal with the pain while performing on stage in recent months, Nita said: "I've had two. I now can't have any more because it's too close to my surgery date. It's getting tough now, but we're making it through.
"All I can really do is keep it under control," she explained. "It's just the realities of running around on stage for 20 years; every once in a while you're gonna get hurt."
According to the Mayo Clinic, a torn meniscus is one of the most common knee injuries. Any activity that causes you to forcefully twist or rotate your knee, especially when putting your full weight on it, can lead to a torn meniscus.
Nita made her live debut with Demi on July 14 with a performance of Lovato's single "Substance" on ABC's Emmy Award-winning late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".
Strauss had been playing with Cooper since 2014 when she replaced Australian musician and former Michael Jackson player Orianthi. She joined Alice in time for a mammoth MÖTLEY CRÜE tour. She was recommended to Cooper by the legendary rocker's former bass player and WINGER frontman Kip Winger.
Last month, Nita released a new solo single and accompanying music video, "The Wolf You Feed". The track features a guest appearance by Alissa White-Gluz of ARCH ENEMY.
"The Wolf You Feed" was the second song Nita has released featuring a star guest vocalist, the first being the "Dead Inside" which featured guest vocals from DISTURBED's David Draiman and saw Nita become the first ever solo female to have a No. 1 hit at Active Rock radio. She also returned to her instrumental roots earlier this year with the release of single "Summer Storm", a fast-paced, emotive shred-fest.
As well as performing with Cooper, Nita has also played with R&B star Jermaine Jackson, early MTV darlings FEMME FATALE, video game supergroup CRITICAL HIT and popular tribute band THE IRON MAIDENS.
In April 2020, Nita launched "Rock Guitar Fundamentals" — a three-module online guitar teaching program suitable for learners of all levels. The course is available at www.iwanttoplayguitar.com.

Rockey Chapter 22
“Before we start-t, I’d like-e to thank-k,” Principal Lindstrom began with a shaky voice, “all of you-u for showing-g up so suddenly-y.” His eyes remained glued to Sofi’s dad.
The mysterious man sat between Mr. Marino (who sat to his right), and Antonio (who sat to his left). Raffaele sat between Antonio and Nicoló. The air was thick with hostility and tension. It was so heavy that all Principal Lindstrom and Mr. Marino wanted to do was leave.
Nicoló and Antonio were paying close attention to the Russian man’s movement. They dared not move an inch, or make eye contact. All they wanted was to get Raffaele the hell out of this office, and far away from this man.
The mysterious man remained quiet, slowly rolling up his sleeves. Everyone began to anticipate this man’s next move. Needless to say, everyone was on edge.
“Mr...Lindstrom,” the mysterious man began with a heavy accent. “What is it that I heard happened to my daughter?”
“Mr...Mr-r…” Mr. Marino began stuttering. “You see, what-t happened-”
The mysterious man abruptly turned to Raffaele; his sudden movement startled Antonio and Nicoló.
He ignored Antonio, and asked Raffaele, “Kak vy vovlecheny? (How are you involved?)”
Raffaele didn’t answer at first; he kept flexing his hands. They haven’t seen each other in 15 years. Mr. Ivan Borisyuk, of the Borisyuk Family, and Raffaele’s father, have been sworn enemies for decades. Because of this, Ivan and Raffaele have fought on many occasions. Though Raffaele managed the upper hand on many fights, Ivan was equally as vicious and sadistic as Raffaele. Over the years, Raffaele had calmed down significantly. Unfortunately with Ivan in the same room, unaware of Raffaele’s change, this could easily turn fatal in a matter of seconds.
But Raffaele let out a heavy sigh, and said, “Moy brat zashchitil vashu doch' ot khuligana. (My brother protected your daughter from a bully.)” He didn’t bother turning to Ivan, knowing damn well he wouldn’t believe him. Even if he did, it wouldn’t change anything; they still hated each other.
Ty vyrastil svoyego brata luchshe, chem ya dumal. (You raised your brother better than I thought.).” Ivan said, keeping his eyes to Mr. Lindstrom. Mr. Lindstrom had, at this point, begun sweating profusely.
“I svn etogo cheloveka izdevalsya nad moyey docher’yu? (And this man’s son bullied my daughter?)?” Ivan asked, transferring the weight of his stare to Mr. Marino. The three men behind Ivan were staring at Mr. Marino as well.
Mr. Marino began to melt into his chair. All he wanted to do was run out of his office, slap his son and nanny, and run before Ivan and his men had a chance to hurt him.
“In my country, I would normally handle this type of situation by having some “FUN.”" Ivan said ominously at Mr. Marino. “But unfortunately, in this country I cannot do what I want.”
“Borisyuk, back off!” Raffaele said firmly. “That bastard, his son, and that whale of a nanny, are mine. No one touches my siblings and gets away with it.”
Ivan brought his attention back to Raffaele. “Oh please fichetto (pretty boy)! You couldn’t kill a mosquito, even if I wrote the instructions.”
“Yesli mne ne izmenyayet pamyat’, etot simpatichnyy mal’chik neskol’ko raz nadral tebe zadnitsu. Ili vy stradali ot povrezhdeniya mozga? (If memory serves me, this pretty boy kicked your ass multiple times. Or did you suffer from brain damage?)?” Raffaele retorted back.
Ivan and Raffaele were up, and at each other’s faces, in a matter of seconds. Antonio and Nicoló had to bound Raffaele’s arms, and drag him back. Ivan’s bodyguards stood in front of Ivan, their hands reaching deep into their pockets for their piece.
“Please gentlemen!” Principal Lindstrom said sternly. “Mr. Marino and his son both agree this was all a misunderstanding, and are completely remorseful.”
Ivan looked at Principal Lindstrom with a confused, disappointed look. “A misunderstanding? My daughter looks the way she does, over a misunderstanding?”
“And my brother?” Nicoló asked. “I don’t understand how no action will take place against Mr. Marino’s son?”
“Please, you have to understand we have a zero tolerance for bullying. We truly do. But Mr. Marino is one our most regular donors, so we thought we’d let this small incident pass by, just this once.” Principal Lindstrom said nervously.
The room fell quiet after he spoke. Everyone looked at him as if he had grown another head in a matter of minutes. Even Mr. Marino, had at this point, given up and began retreating towards the door.
“My son and I are incredibly sorry. He would normally never act out like this. It is his nanny’s fault, and I will make sure to fire her immediately.” Mr. Marino said nervously.
Mr. Marino was stopped by one of Ivan’s men, before he had a chance to reach the door. He was immediately shoved back to the pack of wolves waiting for him.
“Boy, you aren’t sorry yet. Not yet at least.” Ivan said.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The office door swung open, revealing a pale-faced Mr. Marino. As the office began to empty, Raffaele and Ivan stood behind. Neither one of them wanted to turn their back towards the other. But as soon as the whereabouts of Rockey were questioned, Raffaele sprinted out of the office. Once he was outside, he noticed everyone was there, except Rockey and Brittney.
“Matteo, where is Rockey?” Raffaele asked in a serious tone. Matteo only responded by pointing to the bathroom that was a few feet away from them.
