We had a few cheap beers together a lot of laughs and I offered him to sleep in the Rose purple penthouse, that's the top floor :-). Meet Liza! She invited me for a night in #Tegucigalpa with her friends and the story on how we met is quite funny I think. I was just exploring the city a bit and then later went for lunch. That's where Liza approached me because she recognised me from the Facebook live feed from my #Baleadas mission. Do you know that serendipity feeling? Well in 7 years of traveling I've experienced many #SocialTravelSerendipity moments and it happened again today with @friesentravels! I was working from a cafe recommended to me by @frankcuypers whom I met yesterday for a drink. I saw Colleen posting a picture on instagram that she was in a park in #Yaletown, where I was. So I replied that I was just around the corner! Half an hour later she walks into the café I'm in and I obviously thought that she saw my message. But she didn't!!!! She was there to check on her art work that she has on exhibition in this cafe and to meet with a friend. What. Are. The. Chances... Colleen and I met last year randomly in the #Yukon when I was there to tackle challenges from @travelyukon ➡ #missionyukon ⬅ I love it when things like this happen. It totally feels 'ment to be'!
