and don't get me started on drug tests. the hell you care what i do with my body outside of work? it is a worse privacy violation than going through someone's trash and it should be outright banned.

genuinely insane to me that our bodies are controlled to the point we "can't" / "aren't supposed to" tweak our hormones levels as we wish

#drug tests only make sense for jobs which require heavy machinery operation.#but even then. its not like they are doing any other safeguards to prevent classic misuse of heavy macinery #such as. making sure the employees have short enough shifts as to not overwork and tire themselves out #which makes operwting heavy machinery extremely dangerous #in a way that drug use can also affect it #so :I its not reallly about safety if it doesnt include all safeguards does it :[!#its just about stigmatizing drug use!#*and i mean not outside of work type of drug test but hell im probably being presumptuous #like. most drug tests dont really measure how much active drugs r in ur system. from what i vaguely know some of them #can test positive after 10 days. which reallly isnt gonna be measuring how inebriated u currently are at time of testing :/#so. yea... drug tests dont really make Any sense then in that case :P #sorry for rambles atdhffj #my id #i just like to think things thru
