But imagine that she refuses to drive home with him.
Like she is insisiting on walking home ,because of what he pulled in the bathroom. And he is just driving slowly, next to her walking , telling her to drop the act and get into the f*cking car.
listen. listen. i absolutely ADORE this idea, especially because her little attitude would be like "fuck off," and i thought of it BUT i already wrote the fourth part (and ur gonna enjoy what happens there), so what i'm about to do isn't canon nor an official part (in the series) but i wanted to write this out.
this is purely self-indulgence and a little treat 🥰
!! ❗️NON-OFFICIAL PART TO THE PLAY FAKE SERIES ❗️ !!
You stayed in the bathroom longer than intended.
After cleaning yourself up to the best of your abilities—which was rough, considering your makeup was ruined and your dress is practically wrinkled around your hips—you step out of the small space. You bid a decent farewell to the waitstaff before heading out of the exit, spotting Rafe leaning against his car, hands in his pockets.
"What took you so long?" He says when he sees you; the boyfriend act has since dropped since whatever happened in the bathroom. You can tell he's a bit calmer now; his rage channelled into fucking you. Yet, you still feel the ache between your legs—and a little bit of his cum.
You don't want to talk to him.
You say nothing in response, making a mental to-do list of all the things you need to do when you get home. It's the only thing keeping you sane right now. Your brain is fuzzy, trying to maul through the details of what happened just moments ago, and you are sure if you are touched wrong right now, you're going to explode and ruin whatever relationship credentials you spent the evening forming.
But, for a bitter, vengeful impulse, you considered saying fuck it all and chew him out right then and there. To let the entire Island Club know what type of selfish and entitled prick Rafe Cameron is, but you remember what's at stakes. Your goals. You weighed them, in cost-benefit, and discovered that it wasn't worth it.
You moved beyond the passenger seat, heading straight for the road.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm walking." You declare, keeping your voice as neutral as possible. You don't know where you are right now, or how you're going to make it back home, but you know this is a direct road to Tannyhill—and from then on, you'll figure out the rest.
Rafe calls out your name but you ignore it, making decent progress down the trek. Your feet are hurting you. It doesn't help that you're wearing heels, walking across uneven sidewalks. Not to mention, you're still a little sore from how Rafe was being back there.
Fucking asshole, you swear in your head, clenching your hands by your side as you hear a car engine roaring from behind. It doesn't take long before the familiar vehicle pulls up by your side, slowing down enough to match your pace.
He rolls down the driver window, watching you stubbornly make your way down the street.
"Get in the car."
"No." Your voice has an edge but is overall monotonic. You won't let him know how pissed off you truly are; how you're fuming underneath, trying to navigate the mixed emotions buried inside. You don't even bother to look at him. "I'm walking home."
"You're going to walk to the other side of the island?" He taunts, in that condescending voice, as if he thought you were dumb. You weren't stupid. "Yeah, fucking right."
"Unlike you, Rafe, I'm pretty fucking able." You snap, glancing over to watch as his face sneers at the insult. You don't care. You let that first string of restraint snap, and you're unwinding slowly but surely. You try to fall back to your neutral tone. "I'm walking home. If I need help, I'll be sure to call someone else. Maybe JJ or Pope."
You knew the blond didn't like either of them; he made his opinions clear in the car ride to Tannyhill earlier. You only said it to rile him up, which, apparently, works as his expression hardens and he parks the car and unlocks the door.
"Get in the car." He commands, his voice commanding the same authority as he did in the bathroom. However, this time, it feels more forged—like a front to keep up. You look away, deciding to speed up. "Jesus Christ."
Your feet are hurting badly now. While deciding to do a short sprint in three-inch heels, you bend down and unclasp them, ready to go bare-feet for the rest of your journey if need be.
You feel his hand grab your arm.
"Drop the fucking act, sweetheart. You're not going to walk all the way back to The Cut. You won't even make it before dawn."
You pull enough strength within you to rip your arm out of his grasp, just like you should've done in the bathroom, and face him.
"You think you have so much power, don't you? That because you're some Kook prince you can tell people what to do? Well, fuck you, Rafe," you announce, each word punctuated with more sharpness than the last. "If I want to walk till dawn, I'll do it. As long as I won't have to get into your stupid car."
Rafe looks at you, not understanding why you are so adamant on walking back. Was it something during the dinner? Was it the bathroom? Is this you trying to gain back whatever control you lost?
He scoffs. "Your little tantrum isn't going to work, Pogue."
It's the name. The nickname of Pogue that rolls off his tongue that just triggers you.
You're pissed.
Having nothing else, you chuck your heels at his chest. It doesn't do much damage, because of your close proximity, but it was enough for him to see your fury. To see that your refusal isn't just a spur of the moment thing, to gain back control, but was an accumulation of everything—enough to comfort you for the rest of the walk.
Rafe's irritation flares. You knew how to push all of his buttons and now, it's pissing him the fuck off. He thought he calmed down a bit, after the bathroom, but you're just trying to rile him up. For some fucking reason. He doesn't doubt that you're going to walk the rest of the path back to The Cut, even if it kills you. You were that stubborn. It took him a whole two hours to convince you to shut down Sailor for half an evening. Imagine you now, at the height of your anger, with nothing but spite for him.
He should just let you. Show you how your stubbornness can lead to stupid decisions. Dire consequences. But you're still in your stupid, fucking short dress. It practically exposed your ass when you bent over to take off your shoes. There's no way in hell he's letting you walk home, in the dark, in that.
So, he did the next best thing.
He comes forward, and with one hand on your waist, he throws you over his shoulders. You barely register it as he man-handles you, grabbing your heels off the ground and marching straight to the passenger side.
"Fucking brat," he mumbles under his breath as he rips opens the door.
"Let go of me!"
He drops you into the leather seat, quickly grabbing the seatbelt and securing you in. You went for the buckle, ready to click the release, only for him to grab your wrists into one hand.
Your heated eyes meet his angry gaze. "Drop the fucking attitude and let me drive you home." He warns in a low voice. "You're not dying under my watch. Not when you still have your half of the bargain to keep up."
You glare at him, saying nothing as he finishes securing you in. When he feels sure that you aren't going to unlock and run off, repeating this cat-and-mouse game, he slams the door closed and walks over to the driver side.
You say nothing for the duration of the ride. You refuse to. Rafe doesn't try to talk to you either, assuming you'll shake off whatever tantrum you're throwing by the next morning. He just needed to get your ass back home to make it there.
When he stops in front of your house, or as close to it as you would allow him, you silently get out of the car and head for the door. You don't bother saying thank you because to you, the waitstaff at the country club deserves more gratitude more than whatever Rafe fucking Cameron thinks he is.
He doesn't care. He pulls out the street the moment your ass leaves his car. You'll be fine, he thought, you always are.

The Dreams of Hyacinth 3
First / Previous / Next
Nick and Eastern left the bar and headed down the street. When they reached an intersection with a large blue and yellow painted square in it, Eastern stopped and looked on her pad.
"We're really going to take a Hopper, Eastern?" Nick looked up in the sky. "I hate the Hoppers."
"It's the fastest way to cross arms, Nick, you know this."
Since the arms of Hyacinth were only connected at the bottom, moving from one arm to the other was a bit of an ordeal. One had to make it all the way to the base, then walk along until they got to the other arm, catch transit and head back up. There were whole groups of people who prided themselves on having been born, lived and grown old never leaving 'their' arm.
The Hopper was a solution to the problem of crossing arms. It was a small vehicle, carrying anywhere from one to ten people, that would descend from the sky when summoned and 'hop' up into the air and over to another arm and drop the passengers off.
Only the rich and people looking for an ostentatious way to spend money took a Hopper. Even those of moderate means would take mass transit to the base. A Hopper ride could cost a month's wages.
As they waited, the warning siren of the descending Hopper started softly and got louder as it came down. Coming down on the hum of thrusters, the Hopper was an aerodynamic box that kind of looked like an expensive loaf of bread. When it touched down, an automated voice stated "Thank you for choosing Hopper. Please stand back until the doors have opened completely." As the doors opened, a small fanfare played and Nick smelled incense.
"Sandalwood?" He looked at Eastern.
She shrugged. "I'm sure it's to hide whatever happened in the cab with the last passengers."
"Ew" Nick peered inside.
Eastern raised an eyebrow. "Don't be so squeamish Nick, I was hoping you'd take me for a Hopper ride while we were dating. Having sex in the Hopper is a popular date night." She stepped past Nick and got in.
"I say again, ew." Nick got into the Hopper.
As soon as they were seated, the doors slid shut and it took off. Nick was surprised at how rough the takeoff was. He expected more of an elevator gliding up, but instead it was much more... dramatic. "This is kind of rough, isn't it?"
"People are paying for that. Gotta feel like you're going somewhere."
As soon as they left the ground and rose above the level of the buildings, the Hopper's direction began to move towards the arm the Eastern had requested. Being that Hyacinth spins for 'gravity' as soon as they were free of that motion, things began to feel very weird. Nick doesn't get motion sick, but it wasn't exactly comfortable either. He looked over at Eastern who was plastered to the window, watching Hyacinth pass below her. "People fuck in this thing Eastern? I figure they'd get airsick."
She laughed. "Nick, they'll stop in the center, relative to Hyacinth. You can fuck in microgravity for the low low price of a month or two's wages. Lots of folks use it to show off to their dates."
Nick quickly took his hand off the cushion. "Ew" He said again.
"Nick, they clean them."
"Not enough, I'll wager. I bet sandalwood is cheaper."
Eastern scoffed and went back to looking out the window.
Nick watched idly as Hyacinth spun under them as they flew to another arm. From high overhead, Nick could see that this one was much more industrial than the more residential arm he lived in. Things that look like factories dotted the arm, connected with heavier above ground rail lines than the lighter, hidden metro.
They dropped down into a Square that Nick wasn't familiar with. As the Hopper bounced once and landed, the doors opened, and the automated voice said "Thanks for choosing Hopper! Remember us for all your cross-arm transit needs!" and the little fanfare played again.
Nick had never been on this arm, and was completely lost. Eastern clearly had been here before, and she led him away from the Square, walking purposefully. Eastern turned left and right seemingly randomly as they walked through smaller and smaller alleys until she stopped in front of an armored door. Nick looked up. It looked like a warehouse or a factory or something. Tall, with a false brick facade to hide it's generic construction, it felt like someone doing their best with little money to make the place look like more than the box it was.
Eastern walked up to one of the doors and pressed a small box to the entry pad. Instead of the door opening however, two hatches slid open above them and rather large slug throwers spun out, their servos whining ominously in the quiet of the alley.
"What are you doing, Eastern?" There was a terse voice coming through the speaker. You are supposed to come alone after the job is done."
Eastern pointedly did not look at the slug throwers. "We need to see Jameson. It's about the job. I brought Nick along to corroborate the story."
"We don't know him from Gord, why would we take any bullshit he says as the truth?"
Eastern looked at Nick and raised her eyebrows, like she was trying to get him to join in.
Nick couldn't stop looking at the slug throwers who were following whoever was speaking. "Uh, I was at the job, I can prove I did it as ordered. There's a... complication, that's all."
There was a long pause. Then, the slug throwers spun back into their hatches, and the door unlocked with a loud clank. Only then, did Eastern take a breath and open the door. "Come on Nick, we've got to talk to Jameson."
Nick followed Eastern into the building. After a vestibule with more slug throwers - they were powered down at least - they came into a waiting room. It was... cozy? There were large, comfortable looking leather chairs, deep carpets and even a fireplace?
It wasn't real of course. Any fire on Hyacinth was a serious problem dealt with by the fire brigade as quickly as possible, but at first glance, it was a good illusion. A women was sitting at a desk in the room, watching something on her pad and chewing gum. Her eyes flicked up to Eastern and Nick and she said "Have a seat. Jameson will see you in a bit," and her eyes went back to her pad.
Eastern sat on the long couch across from the fake fire and patted a spot next to her. Nick sat back down, and Eastern leaned against him. Her scent and warmth familiar to him. "Thanks for coming Nick" she mumbled into his shoulder as she leaned against him. "I was worried for a moment you'd say no."
"Oh Eastern." Nick lifted his arm and put it around her, bringing his friend in close. "Old Boring Nick can't leave you in a lurch, you know that."
"I know." She lifted her head and looked at Nick. "I take advantage of it sometimes. I know you still love me."
Nick blinked. That was sudden. How was he supposed to reply to that? It was true, at least a little bit, but Nick thought that people weren't supposed to discuss things like that. "Eastern, you know I'd do anything for you. Even more so when you're paying me."
"I know Nick. You shouldn't though." She buried her head deeper. "I'm no good."
Nick put his arm around her tighter for a hug and she sighed and leaned in more. "Good thing for you I'm a terrible judge of character."
"You really are, Nicholas North, you really are." Eastern sniffed. "We're fucked, you know that right?"
Nicks reply was soft, quiet. "I had a hunch, yeah."
"So why did you come along?"
He shrugged just a little, Eastern's head bobbed as he did so.
"You asked me to."
"Oh Nick..." Nick felt the wetness as Eastern's tears soaked into his shirt. "Nick... if we make it out of this, do me a favor?"
"Sure thing Eastern, what is it?"
"Take me up for a Hopper ride."
Nick couldn't help himself. He blushed just a tiny bit. "Yeah. Okay Eastern, I'll take you up. We can see all of Hyacinth from the air."
She sniffed. "I'd like that Nick."
The girl at the desk looked up. "Mister Jameson will see you both now."
They both stood. Eastern wiped her eyes quickly and wiped her hands on her pants. She took a deep breath, her face hardened and she strode towards the door. She turned back. "Come on Nick, we can't keep him waiting."
Nick couldn't believe it, but he was proud and impressed with how fast she pushed her feelings down and her complete change of attitude. He shrugged and followed her through the door.
The moment they were both through the darkened doorway, it was slammed shut by an unseen hand, and a different pair of arms grabbed Nick and Eastern and thrust them into chairs. The option of resisting didn't even cross Nick's mind as straps were wrapped around his chest and legs. Eastern tried to resist a little and she got a back of the hand across her face for her trouble.
"Fuck! Jameson, why is he wearing rings?"
There was a cackling laugh from the darkness as the straps were tightened. "Your boy didn't even resist, Eastern. Is he the brains of the pair of you?"
"Jameson! We did exactly what you asked, we-"
Eastern was slapped again.
"Quiet, Eastern. When I need to know something, I'll ask. Until then, keep your hatch closed.
The lights came up in the room, and Nick saw Jameson for the first time. When his eyes adjusted to the room, he gasped.
Jameson was an AI.
Normally, it was tough to tell an AI in a body from a BI. They worked hard to make sure their bodies were as close to a biological human as possible. It was a point of pride among some them to pass as human.
Jameson made no effort to pass as a human. His body was missing from the torso down. Tubes and wires hung limply from his stomach, and he was clearly connected to the desk he sat at. His eyes met Nick's as Nick was staring and he winked. "At last we meet, Nicholas North. Am I what you expected?"
"Honestly sir, I didn't even know Eastern was in your employ. We always took jobs from her, and she provided the payment."
Jameson nodded. "Smart of her. I knew that she had a good head on her shoulders." He inclined his head towards her. "It's why you're both alive right now, honestly. He disconnected from the desk, and a small chair on wheels backed away. With a whirr, he wheeled over to where Nick and Eastern were strapped. "How much longer you're alive remains to be seen however." He leaned in to Eastern's face, and she stared at him defiantly. "Tell me what happened. Everything."
Eastern started the story from when she received the job, and Nick would add in where relevant. How he was able to get into the Houndstooth Offices by signing up for a tour (he did not mention Selkirk's work in getting the job set up for them), how he ducked out of the tour to 'use the bathroom,' how be boosted the coffin box from the lab - right where Eastern said it was - Nick made sure to point that out. For a split second, Nick thought about skipping the part about how he got pinged by the Houndstooth CorpCops on the way out of the building, but lost them in the metro and ended with him going to the Thirsty K'laxi to give the coffin box to Eastern.
When they had finished, Jameson leaned back in his chair and looked at both of them with a cool gaze. "You know Nick, a lot of people would have glossed over the fact that you got pinged on the job. They might think me upset that the job wasn't 100% glass." He leaned forward. "You did the right thing though. No job is 100% glass. You got pinged sure, but you ducked the ping like a pro and nothing came of it. I've been checking the Houndstooth back channels to see if I could find out when you boosted the box, and honestly, nobody has said anything yet. I don't even think they know it's gone.
Eastern visibly relaxed.
"But. The fact remains that the box is empty. Eastern scanned it, and I scanned it before you started your story. They either knew someone was going to try and boost her and moved her, or she was never there to begin with and our info was wrong."
Jameson wheeled himself back to his large desk. With a whirr and click, he connected back into it. "Here's what's going to happen. You two-" he gestured to them "-are going to find out where she went. If she's in another coffin box, boost it. If she's in a body, nab her. If - God Forbid - they gave her a ship, steal it. I don't care how, you find her and you bring her back to me."
Eastern was even more pale than usual. She was very frightened of Jameson. Nick, being much more stupid than Eastern, or emboldened by the idea of dating her again spoke up. "Okay Jameson. We'll find her. We'll need some help."
"Your K'laxi fixer? I know about Selkirk. I already assumed she's in the job."
"Well yes, but I mean more, that we need more info. Who are we nabbing. I don't need to know why, but I need who. It'll make it easier to find her if they gave her a body or a ship."
Jameson looked at Nick. He stared a long time, like he was weighing a decision in his head. Finally, he blinked and shook his head. "All right Nick, fine. Her name was - is, Yon." He looked away from Nick.
"She's my daughter."

Outlaws of Thunder Junction - Mechanics
Now for the new mechanics. Spree is definitely interesting. I preordered my cards from Thunder Junction today and I picked up a copy of Great Train Heist for Aurelia. I like how the base cost is either one or two and you can pay mana to add more effects. It reminds me of the Escalate mechanic back in Eldritch Moon. I can definitely see these getting a lot of play for added versatility.
Now that we know more about the Plot mechanic I definitely like it. It's like you can pay for it ahead of time using the Plot cost to cast it at the right time or pay the cheaper cost like on Stingerback Terror and cast it the next turn. I got a copy of Slickshot Show-Off for my Adeliz deck.
I'm glad to see the "second spell" effect returning in Thunder Junction. It seems perfect for a setting like this because usually the Old West has a lot of gunslingers but this time it's spellslingers. It goes well with the Plot mechanic because you can cast your spells using Plot and cast them when you need to. If I ever draft it (which I doubt since I haven't drafted a set since New Capenna) I'm definitely aiming for Izzet.
You can't have an old-west-themed set without a mechanic like Mount. in MaRo's teasers he talked about a mechanic that players have been wanting to see for several years but I wasn't expecting it to be Mount. It seems fitting for a set like this because cowboys usually ride some sort of animal like a horse. This is definitely a step up from vehicles because they're still creatures even if they're not saddled and just gain the bonus effect if they are saddled. The only downside is they die to removal while vehicles require artifact hate when now crewed and regular removal if they are.
Also in MaRo's teasers was a set of dual lands with a subtype never seen on dual lands before an it fits the theme for it to be Desert. They go well with the crime mechanic since they deal one damage to a target opponent when they enter the battlefield and since it's on a land it gives you an easy way to do it without having to cast a spell that can be countered. Plus at common rarity they'll be easy to pick up during a draft if you're drafting around crimes.
Besides these the rest of my comments are about the cultural references which I don't have enough room for and don't want to make a separate post for. Some of them are good like Shoot the Sheriff referencing "I Shot the Sheriff" by Bob Marley and the Wailers with the flavor text asking where the deputy is. I also like the reference to the Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons from Looney Toons with the artwork connecting to make a whole picture of the coyote chasing the roadrunner. I heard in real life coyotes run faster than roadrunners but this is a card game with all sorts of things that can't happen in real life so I'll let it slide. I also like the references to common phrases found in old westerns like "reach for the sky" and "this town isn't big enough for the two of us."
I think that's it for Thunder Junction. Next time I'll post when we get more previews from MH3.

Otherside
TW// topics of suicide; grief. a work of fiction
Crisp and cold air awakens her the moment she stepped in Zurich. For once it felt cold, unlike other days where it never bothered her. She was traveling alone, much different than what she had been used to with help from her assistants. Her carry-on follows suit as she takes a train ride to Zermatt. It was convenient that she was knowledgeable in traveling, but she was never a big fan of traveling on her own. She liked to be with someone to make memories with.
The train ride was beautiful, to say the least. Fields of nature greeted her every minute along with vast plateaus of the Swiss Alps. There were plenty of animals who made an appearance, like the furry cows she thought she could only see in photographs. The same mountain was seen where she was staying and it's imperfect outline and snowy cap made it felt as though she was looking at a travel zine. The surrounding was traditional and modern all at once with buildings that favored much more to the Western taste. Minseo had always appreciated the thought of being able to afford the luxury of staying anywhere without worrying about the cost.
Adjusting to it's time changes, she takes out a small journal, it was already filled with a pen tucked where she stopped before.
Seoul
“Do you care to tell me as to why you’re suddenly changing your will?” The older woman asks, her professional attire was much more intimidating than Minseo’s. “The last time I had to do this with you was when your father died.”
“Just updating things. Consider it as something necessary because of my bounty.” Her fingers make quotation marks in the air, trying to ease the tension between them. She gulps from no response. “I check over it quarterly, this is a first I changed it—“
“Changing it to strangers.” She finishes, looking at her with stern eyes. “The only person I know from here is Woori, Wenhan, and Xian. The rest are strangers.."
She moves her things aside to make space for the said briefcase, the metal casing was promptly opened with too many manila folders and file cases taken out one by one in orderly conduct. From left to right, in order of importance. The first was personal assets she wished to organize. Next was a specific folder just for her business, and the last was a brochure about her situation with something she never thought to even try.
“So we’ve agreed that most of your personal assets, liquid and otherwise mentioned— including several houses in other cities— would go to Mr. Wenhan Li, is that correct?”
“Yes. Do confirm the Jeju Vacation house too.”
“I’d like to assert that there is a Siho, Jun, Chaz, Yohan and Sangmi here that are still in the 30% of financial affidavit however much you’ve left. A few specific connotation includes two vehicles be sent to Mr. Bohyun Ahn and Ms. Elena Hazuki.” She looks on the woman’s hand trailing words on the paper and nods on agreement. “Land was also invested for the use of Mr. And Mrs. Matteo Collin as well as Mr. Xian Liu, who will be obtaining your penthouse.“ the woman looks to her for confirmation and she lets her continue. “And you didn’t finalize Mr. Osias’ registry for the yatch. You’ve also indicated formal access of your apartments for Woori and her husband Xian.”
“Yes, finalize it.”
Her lawyer confirms with notes while she tried her best to keep focus but the brochure staring right in her face. The next file was introduced.
“Your position in Choi Resorts and Management will automatically be given to the next in hierarchy whomever the next vice president. Is this correct?”
Yes.
“Hyeseo Choi will be receiving a sum allowance of 5% once she is released.”
Yes.
Everything was being taken care of and it appeared nothing was being in question. She clears her throat.
“I didn’t receive a ‘provisional green light,” she picks up the brochure, from DIGNITAS. “They called me after a year. The medical records made it through the screening. But… It's rejected.” She chuckles, opening it with information inside. “Weariness of life won’t exactly fly with passing colors through the Swiss doctors— or so I’ve heard. They offered counseling though-”
“Perhaps that was a sign,” the woman appeared to have known Minseo for a good amount of time. “I wasn’t worried. You wouldn’t do it here, you won’t do it any other country. In any other case, it’s good you took some responsibility.”
“Do you find it ironic?” “You wouldn’t do it.” And if I did? Her voice barely has enough to emote her tone. It sounded as if she had given up completely, yet there was still some signs she wanted to continue even if it was the way it was. “I have the option to go through suicide and yet I’m target by some, if not many, by the underground’s most dangerous people. All for what? Power? Sounds unrealistic if you ask, we’re living in a completely different reality from the rest of the world. The other side won’t exactly answer all my problems, right? It’ll be a waste of ticket.”
“Your father have always told me a Choi never backs down. It shows in you.” The woman stays in her own standing, packing everything in her briefcase as a sign that she wishes to not continue their talk. A small amount of professionalism left her for a moment and she realized that. “I hope to see you again, Miss Choi.”
She purses her lips, nods promptly at the thought. “Thank you.”
Zermatt
Her grip strengthens with the pen, throwing it across the room. A sharp breath was drawn out of her, and she quickly closes the journal. Soft cries mewl between her lips as it begins to cave in again. Tucked in the sheets with her palms over her ears, she cries herself to sleep and wished everything had just disappeared, including herself.
-
Time had skipped over to noon as the rays catch heat by her arm. Her eyes swollen from the night before and could barely open them as she looks in the mirror. Minseo hadn't been taking care of herself, her cheeks began sinking along with the sockets of her eyes with it’s dark shadow— and it appeared as though she is much older than her age now. Her skin was translucent with veins peaking from places she’s never even thought of and her body even more sickly than her already thin frame. She holds herself over the sink to rethink everything because she wants to be better. She did. It took everything in her not to abide by the stress of not being able to walk out and face the world like everyone else.
It’s town was lively. It made her feel out of place. People offered food and handcrafted items. Even though it was still the feeling of winter, spring was creeping up just around the corner with the sun warming them up just enough. The smell was like fresh laundry, almost like someone continually cleaned their sheets.
She pulls herself together in order to have a good time. Her first plan was to visit what Jinwoo used to call "Toblerone Mountain". Like from the chocolate bar they always ate. Another train ride takes her closer to the Alps and it was breathtaking (literally). It took awhile for her to adjust to brightness of the snow as everything was white. As planned, she took a picture of everything to show her friends.
"Do you want a picture?" Another tourist offers, also equipped with the chocolate bar she held. "I can help!"
"Yes, please," she smiles for the first time in that trip. "Thank you."
Then, it was back to the village where she helped herself to a feast. Not worrying a single reprimanding of gaining weight and the pressure of looking proper in front of others. She wore whatever she wanted and had no care who checked on her. Minseo enjoyed every bit of what she could before she was reminded of what she truly came there for. Though the facility had rejected her initial wish, a message was given that they wish to see her, nonetheless. She looks at her phone with no regard for the email. Minseo could only reply briefly of it.
To: DIGNITAS
RE: Visitation
I've decided to contract my request to meet you all in the facility and will take in consideration about my medical needs in my home country. I've decided to come face to face with my loss and being a visitor here in Switzerland had made me accept. At this time, I'd like to send my regards to the counsel …

Chapter 15: thanks but no
Dawn was encroaching upon the horizon and the wolf pack and agent hawk pulled back into the vehicle bay. Leaping from the ATV, I headed towards the medical wing. the leader of the ragtag bunch of deer huntsmen had fallen and was attacked by a wolf form of the Cerberus B.O.W. He needs the T virus vaccine as soon as possible. Thankful I had Archer trained to formulate one on call.
"Commander Tabitha." agent hawk ran over to me from his parking spot, " go to your guest I'll handle the idiots."
"Alright just follow Archer's orders regarding the treatment Pheonix corps true purpose must be
protected at all cost," I spoke casting light on how serious of a matter this was.
"Understood." he saluted and escorted the six individuals to the medical bay. Without a doubt, I was exhausted. The past few months were busy and the lack of rest was finally catching up. This is a major proving point to Wesker and the no-good she bitch that I was on their side. That I was a cause for destruction, not rehabilitation. This world was a merciless place for those who fought against the mess umbrella made. I need to make a call, he would be able to give some fun.
"ill be in my room," I spoke as I entered my elevator. The ride was short, all while my mind was with thoughts of worry. Once I arrived at my breath shuttered out as I had stepped out of a walk-in freezer.
"WHITE QUEEN!" I shouted in frustration.
"Yes, my lady," she spoke her voice monotone and electric.
"Scan this room for bugs!" I near shouted, "No make it the entire building."
"Understood, commencing scan of the Pheonix Corps headquarters..." White Queen stood silent.
I hooked up my webcam to my desktop and decided to report in but not as Alistar to Wesker, as Tabitha to Chris. I'm not on any side, my path is my own. I will break fates design.
" Scan complete, a single bug has been located in the room Ricardo Irving is staying in," White Queen stated before disappearing.
So they will be monitoring my actions from it more than likely. I turned on the VPN that was set up to mark me in Russia. It was time to call Chris. I clicked the link that reached out to his PDA. The next thing I heard was the dial tone. Such a small thing created immense dread in the bottom of my stomach. Fear was racing as I sweated bullets. I looked in the camera and saw my frantic reflection. my heartbeat flew through the roof and I started to panic.
"do you even know what time it is O'Brian!" Chris shouted, perfect.
"Chris I know it's dawn, but I need to inform you on som....mmmm...something." I studdered fear dripping like thick honey from my voice.
"T WHAT THE FUCK!!! WHERE ARE ARE YOU?!?" He shouted.
"Don't yell don't yell no time." I panted quickly," there is a black market deal today in south Pittsburgh! the connections will be there!"
"what wait T where in south Pittsburgh" Chris groaned out in exasperation.
BANG BANG
"come on it's time to leave" steve yelled through the door.
"I have no time. I'm sorry Chris," I said crushing the webcam, '' coming steve."I open the room door blood dripping from my hand onto the black porcelain tile. Steve stared back at me in horror.
"let me get dressed its been a long night for me." I chuckled.
" why is I leave you alone for any amount of time your injured when I return? That will need stitches!" steve nearly shouted at me.
"accidentally broke a webcam. I forget my strength in moments of panic, nightmares."
"oh yea I understand, come out to the lobby ill stitch you up out there." steve said motioning me out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris Redfield pov
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!." I threw on my uniform and boots. "again, AGAIN! Barry, T disappears without giving details. she is my elder sister why is she so avoidant of me."
" Chris, I get it. I'm frustrated with her but we did treat her like a monster. in both cases after the mansion incident and for a while after we found her dying in Russia. we saved her from Wesker then and she going out to find a pipe dream of finding him the man that nearly killed us including her from what she said." barry said trying to console his old friend.
letting out a massive sigh I spoke to barry exhausted, "I'm going to south Pittsburgh barry. I'm not joking. I'm going to find her. "
''Whoa whoa whoa, Chris! we don't even know if she will be there or not. think before you do something stupid!" barry snapped on the line and I stopped on a dime," look if you're this worried I'll call out and try to find her. I live like 40 minutes outside Pittsburgh anyway."
"thank you berry but no, I'm not leaving this. I lost jill, I've lost my mother and father, hell I thought she was dead after Raccoon city and I never did a funeral for her I was so pissed off. I am not abandoning her again when she is lost." I said staring off in a mirror and I swore I saw Tabitha standing behind me dressed in all black with blue shades. how she was last time I saw her, ready for war.
"CHRIS! DO NOT DO THIS!!!" with an audible click I hung up the phone.
"I'm sorry Barry but this is a Redfield matter" I spoke as morning draped into my Durham apartment.
This was going to be expensive but, I had paid rent ahead for a few months last week. so i had enough saved up for a three thousand dollar flight if it was necessary. nothing was going to stop me this time. i will save my older sister.

Car Tyre Suppliers Uncovered: What You Need to Know Before Buying

When it comes to maintaining your vehicle's performance and safety, the importance of quality tyres cannot be overstated. If you're in or around Galashiels, finding the right car tyre suppliers can be a crucial step in ensuring a smooth and safe driving experience. This blog aims to guide you through the essentials of choosing the right car tyre suppliers in Galashiels, what to look for, and why quality matters.
Why the Right Tyres Matter
Tyres are the sole component of your vehicle that directly interacts with the road surface. They influence various aspects, including fuel efficiency, braking capabilities, and the overall handling and comfort of the ride. Poor-quality or worn-out tyres can lead to compromised safety, increased running costs, and even fines if they don't meet legal standards.
Choosing the right tyres is not just about finding the cheapest option but investing in long-term performance and safety.
Qualities of a Reliable Car Tyre Supplier
1. Variety of Tyres
A dependable car tyre supplier in Galashiels will offer a wide selection of tyres to suit different vehicles, driving needs, and budgets. From summer and winter tyres to all-season options, variety ensures that you find exactly what you need.
2. Expert Guidance
Navigating the technical details of tyres—such as tread depth, load index, and speed rating—can be daunting. Seek out suppliers that offer experienced personnel who can assist you in navigating the selection process.
3. Affordable Pricing
While quality often comes at a price, a good supplier will strike a balance between affordability and reliability. Look out for competitive pricing and occasional promotions that offer good value without compromising on safety.
4. Installation Services
The convenience of purchasing tyres and having them professionally installed in one place is a major plus. Many car tyre suppliers in Galashiels offer installation and balancing services to ensure your tyres perform optimally.
5. After-Sales Support
Look for suppliers that offer warranties, maintenance advice, and support in case of any issues post-purchase. These services showcase their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Factors to Consider Before Buying Tyres
Before you make a purchase, it's important to assess several factors:
1. Your Driving Habits
Do you primarily drive on highways, city roads, or rough terrains? Knowing your typical driving conditions can help you choose tyres with the right tread pattern and durability.
2. Seasonal Needs
Galashiels experiences varied weather conditions, making it essential to choose tyres suited for the season. Winter tyres provide better grip in icy conditions, while summer tyres are designed for dry and wet roads in warmer weather.
3. Tyre Size
Your vehicle's manual will specify the correct tyre size. Ensure the supplier has tyres that fit these specifications, as using the wrong size can affect vehicle performance.
4. Tyre Longevity
Durability is a key consideration, especially if you clock a lot of miles. Check the estimated lifespan of the tyres and ensure they meet your expectations for value.
5. Safety Ratings
Look for tyres with high safety ratings and certifications. These ratings are a good indicator of performance in various conditions, such as wet roads or at high speeds.
Benefits of Local Car Tyre Suppliers in Galashiels
Choosing a local supplier has several advantages. They are familiar with the driving conditions in and around Galashiels, allowing them to recommend the most suitable options for the area. Additionally, local suppliers often offer personalized service and quick turnaround times, making the buying and installation process seamless.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
1. Overlooking Maintenance
Even the best tyres require regular maintenance, such as checking air pressure and rotating tyres. Neglecting this can shorten their lifespan and compromise performance.
2. Choosing Based Solely on Price
Although affordability is a significant consideration, it should not be the only factor influencing the decision. Cheap tyres may save you money upfront but could lead to higher long-term costs due to frequent replacements or reduced fuel efficiency.
3. Ignoring Compatibility
Always double-check that the tyres are compatible with your vehicle's specifications. Using the wrong tyres can lead to safety issues and potential damage.
The Buying Process: What to Expect
When you visit car tyre suppliers in Galashiels, here's what the process typically looks like:
Consultation: Share your driving needs and budget with the supplier.
Recommendation: Based on your input, the supplier will recommend tyres that fit your requirements.
Inspection: The supplier may inspect your current tyres to assess wear and suggest replacements.
Purchase: Once you’ve selected the tyres, you’ll proceed with the purchase.
Installation: If the supplier offers this service, they will mount and balance the tyres for optimal performance.
Why Galashiels Is a Great Location for Tyre Shopping
Galashiels is home to some reputable tyre suppliers that cater to diverse driving needs. With its proximity to scenic routes and varied terrains, having reliable tyres is essential for safe and enjoyable driving. Whether you're commuting to work or exploring the countryside, local suppliers ensure you have the right tyres for the journey.
Conclusion
Choosing the right car tyre suppliers in Galashiels is a vital step in maintaining your vehicle’s safety and performance. By prioritizing quality, expert guidance, and after-sales support, you can make an informed decision that benefits you in the long run. Whether you're replacing worn-out tyres or upgrading for better performance, the local suppliers in Galashiels have you covered.
Invest in your safety and driving experience today—because when it comes to tyres, quality always pays off.

Arrive in Style: Tips for Renting a Limo for Your Prom Night
Prom night is a significant rite of passage for high school students, and it’s an event that deserves to be celebrated in style. One of the most luxurious ways to elevate this special occasion is by renting a limousine. A limo not only adds an air of sophistication but also provides a comfortable and memorable experience for you and your friends. Here are some essential tips to consider when renting a limo for your prom night, ensuring that you arrive in style and make the most of this unforgettable evening.

Choosing the Right Limousine Service
When it comes to renting a limo, the first step is to choose a reputable limousine service. Bing Mountain Luxury Car & Limo Service, serving the Bozeman, MT area, is renowned for its exceptional service and luxurious fleet. Take the time to research various companies, read customer reviews, and compare services. Look for providers that have a strong reputation for punctuality, professionalism, and, most importantly, safety. A company like Bing Mountain, which emphasizes a flawless safety record and is certified by the US DOT, MT DOT, and FMCSA, ensures that you and your friends will be in good hands.
Additionally, consider the types of vehicles available. For prom night, you might want to opt for a stretch limousine or a luxury SUV. Bing Mountain offers a fleet of high-end vehicles, including their 2023 Custom Executive Coach Van, which provides an upscale experience with amenities that will impress your friends. Ensure that the limo service you choose can accommodate your group size comfortably, allowing everyone to enjoy the ride without feeling cramped.
Booking in Advance
Prom season is a busy time for limousine services, so it’s crucial to book your limo well in advance. Ideally, you should start researching and making reservations several months before the prom date. This early planning not only guarantees that you secure the vehicle you want but also allows you to take advantage of any special offers or discounts that may be available. Bing Mountain’s online booking system makes it easy to reserve your ride quickly and efficiently, confirming your booking in under 60 seconds.
When booking, be clear about your needs. Specify the pick-up and drop-off locations, the time you need the limo, and any additional stops you might want to make along the way. Communicating these details upfront helps avoid any last-minute issues and ensures a smooth experience on the big night.
Understanding Pricing and Packages
Limo rental pricing can vary significantly based on factors such as vehicle type, rental duration, and additional services provided. When renting a limo for prom night, it’s essential to understand the costs involved. Bing Mountain Luxury Car & Limo Service prides itself on transparent pricing, allowing you to know exactly what to expect without hidden fees.
Inquire about packages that may include features like complimentary drinks, red carpet service, or decorations to make your night even more special. While it’s tempting to go for the cheapest option, remember that you often get what you pay for. Investing in a reputable service with high-quality vehicles and excellent customer service can make a significant difference in your overall experience.
Preparing for Your Prom Night Ride
Once you’ve secured your limo, it’s time to prepare for your prom night ride. Start by coordinating with your friends about the pick-up arrangements. Communicate clearly about the meeting point and the time you plan to leave, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Arriving at your designated spot on time is essential to maximize your time in the limo and avoid any unnecessary delays.
Additionally, consider the ambiance you want to create during the ride. Many limo services, including Bing Mountain, offer amenities that can enhance your experience, such as mood lighting, sound systems, and even Wi-Fi. You might want to curate a playlist of your favorite songs to enjoy while traveling to the venue. Remember to bring any items you wish to have during the ride, such as snacks, drinks, or even a camera to capture the moment.
Enjoying the Experience
Prom night is about making memories with friends, and arriving in a limo sets the stage for a fabulous evening. As you step into the luxury of your rented vehicle, take a moment to soak in the experience. The thrill of being chauffeured in style is part of what makes prom night so special. Enjoy the ride to the venue, socialize with your friends, and embrace the excitement of the night ahead.
If you choose a service like Bing Mountain, you can expect a level of hospitality that rivals high-end establishments. Their commitment to customer service ensures that your needs are met throughout the evening, allowing you to focus on having fun.
In conclusion, rent limo for prom night is an excellent way to enhance the overall experience. By selecting a reputable service, booking in advance, understanding pricing, preparing thoughtfully, and fully enjoying the ride, you can create lasting memories that you and your friends will cherish for years to come. So, gear up for a night of elegance and excitement, and don’t forget to arrive in style!

Understanding the Regulations and Requirements
Understanding regulations is crucial when you decide to import a car from the USA to Canada. The first step is knowing that vehicles must comply with Canadian safety standards, which often involve modifications for emissions and features.
You'll also need to gather documentation. Essential paperwork includes the vehicle title, bill of sale, and any recall clearance letters. These documents prove ownership and ensure no outstanding issues with the vehicle.
Customs duties can also apply. When crossing the border, be prepared for taxes based on the value of your new ride.
Additionally, check if your car meets Transport Canada's requirements by referencing their Vehicle Importation Regulations guide online. Another issue often arises with compliance standards. Cars must meet Canadian safety and emission regulations. Researching these requirements beforehand helps avoid last-minute surprises.
Customs duties can also be daunting. Understanding how much you'll need to pay at customs will help you budget effectively. Keeping all receipts organized makes this process smoother.
Language barriers might complicate communications if you're importing from regions where English isn't the primary language. Consider using translation services for essential documents or conversations.
Time management is vital when coordinating inspections and transport logistics. Creating a timeline will keep everything on track and reduce stress throughout your import journey.
Additional Tips for a Smooth Importing Process
Before you start the import process, ensure you have all the necessary documents ready. This includes the bill of sale, title, and previous registration papers. A well-organized file can save time.
Consider using a reputable customs broker. They are experts in navigating complex regulations and can help you avoid pitfalls.
