Thinking about ageswap again, what if Reigen meets Mogami during his version of the separation arc and just absolutely gets into the worst shit
#OKAY SO. in my head. mogami is a kid who desperately needs to get out of his situation but is too stubborn to do so#if he believes that the world has the capacity to be kind and isn't just a worthless pit. then it makes him question everything#so he's sort of stuck in this period of Needing to get out and rejoin the world + find hope once more#but he will not allow himself to do that. and he has no one in his life who is trying to help him in that direction#and reigen at this point is SO fucking sad and bitter. thinks that he's doomed to be abandoned no matter what#that the one person he thought he could actually trust to not do so went ahead and did it#so yeah. reigen is super depressed and bitter atm. which is so happens to be same position mogami is in!#I was thinking that instead of reigens whole thing being broadcasted- he instead goes underground#he runs away from home. as if his parents were rly keeping track in the first place. and his school attendance is Super fucked#he finds minori first actually... and then he meets mogami through her#minori decides to take him on as a student because she actually sees potential in him#there's a sharpness there. an intelligence towards people and charisma that could be nurtured#and it does help that mogami and reigen immediately hit it off. so! she decides to take him in if he agrees to take her as his shishou#it drives a pit into reigens stomach but he says yes and so. reigen joins mogami in minori's underground side business#reigen learns how to do all of the talking and further sharpens his silver tongue and gets into some dangerous shit#I rly like the idea that mogami and reigen learn alot from each other and bond... theyre so fucking sad
