#social media meta#then again I've seen “making likes private” on the same twitter crime-against-humanity list as “breaking blocks”#so yeah those “you have a moral obligation to publicize your race and exact age” folks probably would lap it up lmao#bluesky#I'm gonna be that guy and say that people being up in arms about privacy being dead with twitter's non-block are way overexaggerating#alts exist and very easily toggleable within the UI#and unless you make your account private on day one someone can always follow it when it's public#and keep their access even if you then make it private#the determined people (like me) would have no connections between alt and main so you won't be able to tell
