The house smelt so good when I got home from work at 1:20am, all night I’ve been so looking forward to eating some of the dinner I prepped before my shift.

My horror when I lifted the pan lid to discover the contents of the pot horribly burnt 😭

#also explains the slightly weird underlying smell upon entering my home #my beloved left me a note appologising for what happened and it very well could be the recipe to blame #because the directions just say ‘put on medium heat covered and cook for 40 minutes’ and the pan I use really holds it’s temperature #so yeah I’m disappointed big time coz I rushed to get the prep done before working tonight and it’s inedible now but I can forgive him #toothy talks #it was supposed to be an artichoke tagine (though I don’t own a tagine) and I even mad the ras el Hanout spice mix too #better luck next time I guess
