I know we all love to talk about like Jason’s torture and how bad it was and all that but I think a lot of people are forgetting that Joker didn’t torture Jason just to torture him. Like he had a plan. He cant starve Jason because he needs him well enough to be released back into the wild to fight Batman. He can’t break his bones over and over until they don’t heal properly. Because he needs him to fight Batman. His goal is to turn Jason against Bruce so he can get them to fight. Joker only cares about fucking with Batman, that’s why he captured Jason in the first place

#joker walked a very fine line of hurting Jason enough to ruin him mentally but not enough that he couldnt physically recover enough 2 fight #that’s not to say that joker was ever kind to him btw. joker doesnt care if Jason likes him. all he has to do is make jason hate Bruce MORE #cause Jason does hate joker. like he knows joker is the one who tortured him. but the reason WHY is Bruce. in game he more mad at Bruce #a part of that is bcse of joker’s manipulation but also I think bcse joker is dead by the start of the game #and jason can’t get revenge on a dead guy #so who’s left?
