part of me wanted to draw the redacted characters as mermaids but i haven't drawn mermaids in years bc my old art teacher saw me drawing mermaid versions of my book characters and told me i was doing it all wrong and that I needed to erase the joint that makes it look like the character is just a person wearing a mermaid tail costume and it kinda crushed my soul a lil💀
