was talking to a friend about wednesday (2022) today and just realised it wasn’t a comedy?? crazy
but also, now here me out, it absolutely was a comedy- i mean excluding the last two episodes the whole show made me fucking cackle
#wednesday#wednesday addams#my friend watched it as a horror show and therefore picked up on the little clues/guessed the plot twist in ep 3#i thought it was gonna be spooky for all of the three seconds it took for me to see the monsters design#but riddle me this - if it wasn’t a comedy then why did i laugh hmm?#i’m also realising the reason i didn’t like the finale that much was because i didn’t like the plot twist#and the reason i didn’t like the plot twist was because i thought it didn’t make sense#and the reason i thought it didn’t make sense was because i apparently missed approximately every hint#like my friend was telling me the little details that clued her in to the killer etc and i flat out didn’t remember those scenes#so turns out the ending wasn’t bad writing im just a bad viewer tehe#i stand by watching it as a comedy tho i think i had more fun than my friend
