It is unfortunate that all the chaos going on at work has me going "oh man, damnit, I would be a good manager."
Which is technically one part of my degree. I just never liked the idea of being a boss of anyone at a company!

#{domino talks}#LOOK SEE OKAY#they wanna cut out positions (that are necessary)#note: company is a hospital#so they cut out a ft in outpatient and a pre registration position and TECHNICALLY another outpatient registration that is worked by#someone who's TECHNICALLY pre registration#what they need to do if they refuse to fill positions is#change the pre reg girl's title to women's center#one of the pt outpatient is likely going to the ER shift so they need to make her position full time#and then either leave the other existing pt op aline so occasionally we can have 4 people down there#OR they can continue to have a ft pre reg position instead of telling op registration to somehow make time for it#if they can fuck shit up to attempt to make the ER do 12's then they can rearrange the outpatient services#in a way that saves them money or what the fuck ever and still BENEFIT patients instead of potentially deterring them from coming here#meanwhile my boss had making the employee schedule taken away from him because he constantly fucked it up#and we had to point out mistakes and discrepancies#if i understood the rotation for all the positions i could TOTALLY map this out and make a presentation#you'd really not even be messing with anyone's existing schedule#it would affect one position and that's gonna be if they would UTILIZE the fourth person#by either scheduling for the regularly busy days or making pre reg a position again (which per union they HAVE to... but... heh...)#the pre reg/wc ... she already mainly does the wc registration and then pre reg surgery patients in-between#which personally rubs me the wrong way because i feel like we violated people's privacy and trust on both sides of that#speaking patient information in an open space without their consent#interrupting patient care by either being busy on the phone or having to put someone on hold#it's the management and everyone above who's at fault for this#i'm honestly weirdly annoyed that someone's title is not actually the position they work#literally just CHANGE HER TITLE it would be less confusing#honestly it's probably so they can say they still have pre registration here but without having to have more employees#since she has been working the wc reg position for awhile anyway?#MONEY 🎉 CORPORATE GREED🎉 NO REAL CONCERN FOR PATIENT CARE🎉#there are literally ways to have both without screwing EVERYONE over
