For my non german moots who see me freaking the fuck out bc of the federal elections yesterday, here are the results (not all votes have been counted but it wouldn’t make much of a difference anymore) From the official Bundestag website

Also i have no idea why the FDP is marked. TwT

On top we have CDU, aka the right wing conservative „Christian“ party. There is little Christianity i see in there. Technically they are centrists, but they haven’t done anything centrist in a while. Especially future Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz. I personally hate him, as he voted against rape in marriage being seen as rape, and „sadly“ had to join with the AfD to hypothetically pass a really racist migration law.

Speaking of, the AfD, the second highest party on that list, is literally a nazi party. I am not joking nor exaggerating. It’s so bad actually. And it’s disgusting and disturbing that they are so strong. I am speechless and angry.

Some good news are that there PROBABLY won‘t be a Koalition of CDU/AfD bc not everybody in the CDU would agree with that AND it would cause so much outrage in the public a Revolution might happen 😭😭 (my personal theory)

Some other good news are that the FDP, the party who is responsible for these early elections bc they practically broke the previous Koalition, and the BSW, a party named after an ex-Leftist who is uhm. Questionable and plain bad and pro-Russia — these two ARE NOT in the Bundestag!!!! Small victories!! As they didn’t manage more than 5% of voters.

AND THE LAST SMALL VICTORY IS: DIE LINKE, AKA, THE LEFTIST PARTY HAS OVER 8%!!!! This is hugee for them! Especially bc they do very good opposition work in parliament.

But basically, the next four years will be very difficult, slow, bereacracy-filled, and probably a bit upsetting- which probably will make people even MORE frustrated which might make the AfD, The fucking Nazis. More popular. So i hope and pray with every fibre of my being that that won’t happen please.
