you know you've gotten too invested into the roleplaying aspect of a game when you go on a 3min rant about power imbalance and inequality and how being singled out just because you have some kinda power is a disservice to the other people who helped you in your quest

anyways i started playing skyrim cuz it came in today

#ashton is talking #skyrim #this is specifically about how you get pronounced thane of whiterun for slaying a dragon and maybe being dragonborn #so the men that also fought mirmulnir mean nothing??#what about irileth who lead the charge against the dragon??#the only reason i was there was cuz i barely had an encounter with a dragon when i was about to be executed #but nooooooo they get nothing just cuz they can't- what- shout as good-???#i think they should be thanes as well!#(also the fact that thanes have the social power to 'have the guards turn the other way' is batshit crazy wtf)#i've already proclaimed myself a man of the people #if i'm gonna be thane i'm gonna earn that title
