Wolfgang Wilder hearing about this so-called "Wolf of Moonwood Mill": ...... aight
LOLLLL okay Nonny I will admitā¦I had to look up who this sim was. Iāve never played with the werewolves pack or in Moonwood Mill before this mini-arc (also the world is stunning like omg??)
In my mind in this AU though (like in the main save) there are no supernaturals/occults. So Moonwood Mill is just an old logging town. Calling Giorgio āThe Wolf of Moonwood Millā was meant to be a play on The Wolf of Wallstreet and a little nod to what we know about Moonwood Mill in sims lore.
So please send my apologizes to Mr. Wilder because he is also a stylish stunning sim and I was not trying to upstage him š«¢
#oops probably should have explained that better#so thanks for giving me the opportunity to do so Nonny š#cause Gio may look good but my boy is rich in this AU#like rich rich#landlord owns the town rich#never forget he has the mansion baron aspiration#the American dream capitalism is strong in this one#Nonny reacts

You have already answered similar questions so feel free not to post. I just thought I would share š
Q. Where is the Promotional stuff?! What is going on? I need answers. Every show now has a trailer but 911. Is he coming back or not? I need to know something other than Tim is still obsessed with Ryan, haha.
A. Lol, the man is very transparent about his Ryan/Eddie love. He always has been. They're clearly hiding something. I think it was pretty much confirmed that The Rookie was the show something got spoiled for, I don't watch it so I have no clue how big of a spoiler it was. But obviously 911 took the opportunity to button everything up on their end. They clearly don't want something spoiled about the 3 episode event. I think we can pretty safely say there is no kind of AU happening. What we saw was most likely the television show Bobby is consulting on. For all the SPN ptsd's out there freaking out in my ask box, this is an entirely different show. It's not the same thing. However , it would make sense, and in fact be hilarious, if the characters on the show mirrored the real 118. There will be nothing wrong with doing that. We are talking about a Ryan Murphy show. I would be more surprised if they didn't do that.
I think if they drop a trailer it will be during the Family Fued episode. Double the PR in one sitting. They are doing things completely differently this time around. So it's hard to predict. I would imagine we'll get interviews the week leading up to the premier at least. We know Ryan has some sitting out there, and so far they're following the same pattern with Ryan/Eddie that they followed with Oliver/Buck last off-season. Everything else is different. But I would imagine the week leading up to the premier will be pretty PR heavy. Unless they want to hold everything until after the premier. If they're hiding something big we may have to wait. I'm going to address Tommy one more time and one more time only. He is not important enough to feature in anything that is currently taking place. He was made much more important by both fandoms than he ever was going to be to the show. Period. He was never going to be a main. He was never going to be main adjacent. He was a guest star with less than 30 total minutes of screen time. If we get a trailer and he isn't in the trailer I don't think he's returning. The previous seasons love interests have almost always featured in the trailer in some capacity so if they exclude him from that I think it's safe to assume he was let go. The only reason I'm hesitant to say he was fired is because they pinned his Instagram comment. I don't see them pinning a comment from a fired employee. However given everything we have learned about how control heavy Disney is I don't see how he kept his job following the cameo garbage. He clearly broke Disney protocol. So I genuinely don't know. He is very low hanging fruit by Disney standards though so it is what it is. If he shows up for a scene or two or an episode or two it doesn't really matter. He's not going to play any significant role one way or the other. And there is no need to keep talking in circles about it. We have 20 days to go. I'm looking forward to the FF episode and the stuff we will be getting once the season starts (hello Eddie in a church talking to the priest). We'll see what if anything juicy the FF episode provides and we will go from there. š
Thank you Nonny! I'm definitely posting this one, because people have been asking for Ali's opinion on the lack of promotion for Tommy, which is about the same opinion as mine, only more eloquently explained. š
So I'm not adding any of my opinions on this one, since all of you already know exactly what I think about most of this. :)
IMPORTANT! Please don't repost this ask and/or a link that leads straight to my Tumblr account on Twitter or any other social media. Thank you!
Heads up! For anyone who is giving me the shifty eyes for reposting Ali's updates instead of reblogging. Read this.
Remember, no hate in comments, reblogs or inboxes. Let's keep it civil and respectful. Thank you.

hello chrissie! I hope you're having a good day!
do you have any tips on gifmaking for someone who wants to start?
Hi Nonnie, thank you so much for your ask, I hope you're having a good day, too š„°
Tbh, I always feel like I am not really qualified to answer these questions, because ā unlike me ā most of the wonderful gif makers on this site use photoshop and if you have access to that software, I would always recommend using it because itās easier, faster, the outcome is so much better and the opportunities it offers are endless. (There are a lot of beginner tutorials on this site if you search for gif + tutorial in the search bar š)
However š If you donāt have access to photoshop or your cpu canāt handle it or you are simply overwhelmed by the vastness of the program, you can always try GIMP š Itās opensource, you can download it legally for free and it runs on all platforms. The main drawback is that it doesnāt have the timeline feature, which means that you have to edit every single layer separately. (The program literally wasnāt designed to create gifs, itās just that a few clever people found a way to work around that š)
I would recommend starting with this tutorial here. It explains how to create a gif in GIMP in general, how to create screencaps, how to import them, how to resize, how to crop and how to export your gif.
As for the really fun part (editing your gif), I think for a beginner it would be easiest to concentrate on three basic steps: brightening up the gif, adjusting the colours, and sharpening the gif. Youāll find all the editing tools that you need for that under āColours/Colorsā in the menu bar.
The brightening/contrast tool of GIMP can give weird results, so itās usually easier to use the exposure tool, but thatās just my personal opinion.
As for playing around with the colours, the tools that you would want to look into first are ācurvesā, ālevelsā and ācomponents -> channel mixerā. The channel mixer isnāt nearly as good as the one in photoshop, of course, but it makes me so giddy that GIMP finally has a proper one implemented š
Also, if youāre just starting out, I would always recommend working with the largest quality source material that you can find (at least 1080p). I spent most of last year giffing really low quality vids because Iāve never been able to resist a cute Oscar moment, but if youāre just learning how to gif, the quality issue might become really frustrating, especially in the beginning.
And of course, the most important part: Allow yourself to have fun playing around and trying new things š„° Every new gif poses a new challenge, so donāt be discouraged if a certain editing step doesnāt result in the outcome youād expected, youāll soon get the hang of it š
I hope this was at least a little helpful š„°

Oh, Nonny! Thank you SO MUCH for this ask and for wanting to know more about boring olā me! Answers below the cut
1. what was your life like last year?
Going with July 2020-July 2021 here.
Topsy-turvy is the best word for it: Family members came down with severe cases of COVID 19; after 17 years in my studio apartment in an amazing DC neighborhood, my landlord basically evicted me WHILE I WAS PAYING RENT and DURING A GLOBAL HEALTHY PANDEMIC.
My job of 6 years told me I had no grasp of my position and its responsibilities (after running the entire org myself when everyone else walked out for better opportunities) and refused to give me a raise.
Perfect storm for me to toss my life in the air, accept a job in another state, and pack up/move in 3 days. Adjusting to a new job, new state, and brand-new lifestyle has been hard, but Iām adapting. And I bought my first car, so thereās that.
2. are you good at hiding your feelings?
Not really.
3. how do you feel right now?
Happy. Content. Tired.
4. personality description
An extroverted introvert with people-pleasing tendencies and a generous spirit. I also tend to interrupt folks when theyāre talking because I am NOSY AF.
5. have you ever been to New York?
Yes! Manhattan and Queens only, though.
6. description of crush.
Heās pretty. Soooo pretty. But Iām a decade older and heās been making babies since he was 20 years old, so not sure how weād work out.
7. height
6ā4ā without heels.
8. things you hate
Injustice, liars/lies, constant complainers (although sometimes I feel I am guilty of this), disorganization/clutter, bad sex, hot food gone cold, that Liam Rys is not a real person.
9. iāll love you ifā¦
Massage me, bring me chocolates, share your fries, donāt mind that I smoke cigarettes.
10. 3 random facts
I cannot wink, whistle, or skate (ice or roller).
11. 3 dreams you want to fulfill?
Become a homeowner, publish a book (if I can ever learn how to FINISH a story!)
12. turn ons/offs
My mind went everywhere with this question but decided to keep it family friendly.
On:
Nice smile
Approachable
Laid-back personality
Ambition (but not too much)
Able to speak about more than the weather
I value intelligence over education
Hugs over handshakes
Creativity
Off:
Selfishness (not necessarily financially)
Complacency
No growth/improvement and no desire for it
Not putting forth effort (clothing, conversation, etc.) especially for first meetings
A need to always be right
13. why you joined tumblr?
I was ON THE HUNT for more Liam content when TRR ended; Google introduced me to Tumblr and I just moved on in.

Am I really a Snake sec? I feel like I'm more rigid than what Snake is supposed to be. Like I've heard people say something like weaving their way through obstacles (metaphorically or otherwise) without thinking but let body reacts. I do that too, but I will always need to assess the obstacles first. Getting caught off guard and I canāt react appropriately. I donāt mind planning, but too much isn't good. (And I really love throwing plans away if necessary.) So, what do you think? And thank you!!
My snake sec and my bird sec model are having arguments about this one for a while, nonny, and I'm glad you asked. When I write about being snake sec, I make it sound like a superpower sometimes, twisting and weaving, always evading, always with a clever little circumvention at hand, never getting hit.
Thing is, reality is not always that perfect. When it is, it feels really good, like I'm on a roll. But more often than not, I feel like you do: surprised by a quip I didn't see coming, or steamrolled by a play I had no idea was even in the cards. I feel my reaction is out of whack, I miss opportunities, I get lost in my anger or whatever emotion I feel at the moment, and I have to watch other people react in a way I wish I did.
It makes me doubt my own snake sometimes, while my bird laughs and doesn't understand what's wrong. On more than one occasion, I thought I might be more actor bird than snake in multiplayer situations because my snake intuition failed me. I felt clumsy and slow and a bit foolish.
Maybe you are like me, nonny, snake sec with bird model. Both are circumventing secondaries, so "Know thy obstacle!" is definitely our war cry. We need to know our enemy to find a way around it, while lions only need to know their own strength. I think it is very improv to go into a situation and look at what's there. And yes, it might take us a moment longer than our lion or pure snake friends, and that might be because our bird wants to make sure we're safe.
But we get there in the end, or we find another way. Snake magic still happens often enough, and we get the advantage of giving our improv a little structure if we need it. Best of both worlds, if you ask me š
