ok hi so i do not have the time or energy to make a mini slideshow i am saur sorry. but here is a text post to make up for it featuring selfies i took w my islanders during my lunch break lol!

let’s start things off with...

charlise!

personality: sisterly

LOVES gardening and is offended that anyone would use flowers to use as food, trample them, etc

favorite flower = yellow roses which are a personal symbol of comfort for me lol so it checks out. so true of her

has depression and isnt afraid to talk abt it or make her needs known

also she is a lesbian btw <3

had a peppy punk era that she has TOTALLY grown out of (she has not grown out of it but she keeps it secret)

very like... Connected to her friends and family and neighbors. perceptive and gentle and kind. very good friends with antonio since they’ve been through so much together. and fond of all the girls on the island bc she sees herself in them

this man fucking LOVES bugs. he loves them. so much

he lives across the river from everyone else and his house is behind some cliffs.. he enjoys climbing the cliffs and watching the sunrise while everyone else including me is asleep <3 (there is no way for him to actually access the cliffs i just am pretending <3)

likes watching quiz shows, fingerpainting, and playing pretend!

forgetful and kinda slobby (like.. baby getting food all over their bib slobby) but everyone thinks it’s adorable. and they are RIGHT!

VERY artsy. she is a culinary genius and a master painter and a violin virtuoso. everything she touches she turns to gold. which is pretty obvious i think i mean have you even looked at her (look at her. look at her right now)

gets overwhelmed very easily. her coping mechanism is to clean even in places where it doesnt make sense (e.g. sweeping the grass... maam hello 😐)

i initially hated him and wanted him to get off my island but he grew on me so fast and im never letting him go. i love him so so so much 😭

LOVES water. he lives right in front of the beach and hangs out there all the time singing to the waves

he just wants to keep his loved ones safe. especially concerned about water safety (whether it’s keeping safe FROM the water or using the water TO keep ppl safe, e.g. firefighter stuff)

she is literally SO perceptive and sensitive it’s insane. always knows the right thing to say. she is comforting and intentional about her comfort and she tries not to let her soft / sentimental side show but it’s also like. so obvious and ppl just snuggle up to her bc she radiates warmth

likes being in nature and singing to trees and plants

friends with freya but they also squabble sometimes bc they’re too much for each other

loves traveling which she doesn’t do that often now that she lives here. she’s always a little bit restless bc she misses her traveling days. and do you know where she traveled???? well i’ll tell you...

she was a kk slider groupie back in the day and followed him around on his tours and stuff! one time he invited her on stage during the song “only me” and serenaded her and she sings it LITERALLY all the time bc it reminds her of that special moment :”~)

surprisingly neat and clean for a lazy villager. he and rex are kinda neutral towards each other bc rex is a total (but adorable) slob and he likes to keep things clean so they just kinda like.. dont interact very much and neither feels any way about it

friendly with freya. they bond over cooking and cleaning

my GIRLLLLLLL

friendly but also kinda sensible and hugely ambitious... but she also has a huge stubborn / impatient streak. she can be very particular and persistent

favorite fashion trend = jumpsuits!

puts a lot of effort into working towards her goals. she’s very organized and good at planning things and practicing (e.g. dancing and singing, fitness)

a little bit narcissus gazing into the pool methinks. she loves tiger / tropical themed stuff LMAO... and she has a pet pill bug that she named bangle so that it would have at least one cute / redeeming quality that offset the fact that pill-bug-bangle is in fact a pill bug. legend behavior.

LOVES glitter glue (writes all her letters using it in fact) but she gets so frustrated when she can’t get the glue to come out right and it gets sparkles all over her fur / clothes... which fits!

antonio has taken her under his wing (or... snout) and is showing her around the island and helping her get used to stuff!
