Fun thing I found out today while on the Job Search: the fucking Pinkertons are on Linkedin.
#for those of you who don't know the pinkertons are a detective agency that's been around since Lincoln's time#and they are NOTORIOUS strikebreakers#like through the late nineteenth century there were multiple instances of them killing striking workers#so seeing them offering an agent position. on linkedin. was wild#I thought they'd died out#wig's words
