I was rereading some of my CBS liveblogs and this was from the very first one...

But Clarice Starling is a big cat, she’s a warrior, she’s between iron and silver. I’d hate for her to spend most of this show doe-eyed and traumatized. I want her to be ferocious, to see the woman who’s a match for the monster.

#so much potential. so many flashes of brilliance. an emmy worthy performance. and YET.#I mean at least it wasn't a dumpster fire like a CERTAIN show. 👀#but wow...I had no idea just how badly they'd do by her when I typed that...#I still haven't watched the last 3 episodes and atp I don't know when I will. sigh.#there WERE moments when they allowed her to be a warrior! unfortunately the doe-eyed trauma moments were way more frequent
