Having fun trying to figure out the religious imagery used by Fortuna and what I can reasonably build off of. They've got some halo stuff going on with Sanctus, the Savior, and the Angelos that I think I want to build on, and I've got some ideas about how they could spin the Hell/Demons being Bad while Sparda is Good thing. Honestly kind of makes me want to write a meta/lore post with all of this at one point, even if this is only veeeery tangentially based on canon. It's important for some of the driving forces in this fic so I'm gonna dive into them. It's time consuming to figure out, but hopefully I'll get a solid enough structure to speed things up later on.

Oh god. I just realized tomorrow's November. As in, that month in which you write 50,000 words. I...did not prepare.

The NaNo people have embraced AI so I'm not going to do anything official (I never have), but I DID kind of want to participate. What to do, what to do! I do have two or three longfic ideas that I haven't touched so I could theoretically go for one of those if I wanted to focus on one fic. I hit 52k in January and 72k in May so it's not like I haven't had other NaNo level months this year to sort of...look back on with pride, or whatever.

But oh boy. NaNo season. What to dooooooo!

FLdsflidshakjlshfd #This is kind of the opposite situation of Within a forest dark (dante in hell fic) in that i have a lot of words for many important things #whereas Within a forest dark was a lot of words for kind of nothing happening. which is also fun! i love it #but nero is 10 right now and i'm not good at getting into the headspace of a ten year old nor do i think he'd have that kind of association #basis for the kind of complex spirals going on in Within. and with more limited experiences his thoughts would get boring if i went tht dee #so instead it's more surface level but more is happening #there are uhhh. 11 named characters so far in this fic? counting even those who only appear for a little bit #within a forest dark has like 5 within the first 70 thousand words #this is a very different plot heavy fic and i'm looking forward to writing it. here's hoping i can keep up steam and also ideas #so motivation ideas inspiration trinity pleeeease #eruwrites
