i know i also already said this but i keep having art ""'realizations""" that read exactly like this post
#did u guys know drawing realistic proportions doesnt automatically mean the style is Realistic. its something else entirely#talkys#<- obvious stuff like that that my brain cant grasp for my own stuff#like ive been struggling drawing faces bc i dont want to do proportions that are too realistic bc thats boring#so ive been fucking up with worse wonkier faces instead#when proportions arent automatically what makes a piece Realistic or Boring or even Bad etc#well except in the case of my stuff actually being bad and devolving constantly but#you know#i guess its more like >sees artist drawing with realistic facial proportions but the art doesn't look realistic it still looks#stylized and cartoony and not boring >jaw drop
