genuinely its sometimes really funny revealing how fucked up my eyesight is to people. told a friend/coworker that i couldnt see shit on his computer because he keeps it too zoomed out and he said that i just need to get new glasses. Then i got to watch the slowly dawning horror on his face when i explained that these WERE new glasses and if i wanted to see any better i would have to get brain surgery

#howling #im nearsighted in one eye/farsighted in the other #my left eye is so bad that it gets filtered out by my brain as junk data and its all just peripheral vision #if i look over my shoulder for too long my vision gets so blurry that im practically whiting out #i dont have binocular depth perception. like at all #during those eye tests at the optometrist it takes me 3 years to do the left eye #Because they cover the right one but my shitty ass brain is still Not Convinced my left eye can see Anything #so it still tries to use the right eye. Even though its covered #so it gives a really awful flikering light effect if i try to read with just my left eye #anyways. this is what i mean when i say that im half blind
