I’m thinking about the funniest combination of mixing up the leads of the mxtx novels and making them have crossover conversations and I think I’ve decided on these:

Hua Cheng and Lan Wangji - they sit in silence so passive aggressive it injures several bystanders

Wei Wuxian and Shen Qingqiu - Shen qingqiu finds Wei wuxian’s whole thing grating which causes Wei wuxian to double down and be deliberately more annoying but in the end they bond over the weird experiences that come with dying and coming back to life afterwards.

Luo Binghe and Xie Lian - it has been discussed whether lwj could teach xie lian how to cook but I’d rather consider whether luo binghe could teach xie lian how to cook. The answer is still no but the attempt would be Very funny. I also think Xie Lian would be so nice to Binghe that by the end Binghe tearfully shares some of his insecurities about not feeling worthy of his Shizun and they have a heartfelt chat. This causes sqq to become fumingly jealous, which he vehemently denies when pressed.
