Doing a little insomnia cleaning + packing and now I’m watching my playlist of (mostly older) vlogbrothers videos titled ‘company’ for, well, what you can gather. Anyways now I keep occasionally tearing up at the especially nostalgic videos and the ones talking about the passage of time. Wack.

Saturday 3.30.19

I am SO TIRED. Really shoudn’t have stayed up so late last night

Made breakfast this morning a smoothie(strawberries, banana, oats, almondmilk) and a frappe(starbucks coffee pack w/ cream and sugar) very good combination!

Checked off everything like 50 times on my list to make sure I’m not forgetting anything. Ridiculously long list...

Watching the episodes of Grey’s Anatomy in this car ride and I’m sucked in completely.

We stopped at McDonald’s on the car ride and i ended up getting a steak, egg, and cheese on a bagel. THIS WAS HEAVENLY. I’ve never had it and I’d love to have one of these everyday if I could. Just wonder what the mystery sauce on it is....

Random hip pain in right side starts NOW

Grey’s had me crying like a baby on last weeks episode... great episode

Arrived at my grandma’s house and OMG it is BAKING. I walked in and it was hotter than outside(turns out my dad had to suck the water out of the AC b/c it was broken) thank god it was back on. Too many people in this house also. Did my makeup the fastest I’ve ever done before and it looked decent :) I was being rushed to finish so we could leave for the funeral by 12.

We arrive and I’m so tired. Annnddd guess what? Funeral viewing is from 1-2pm and service is at 2. So we’re here at like 12:20 waiting around and I’m exhausted and just barely staying awake while sitting in these benches. And the hip pain is becoming increasingly worse.

I would have never recognized him if I didn’t know this was his service :/

Found out theirs a little bench for people to kneel on, built into the benches in front of us. Catholicism seems kinda odd. I’ve never been in a church like this. Still kinda confused on what a (Decan: I think this is how it’s spelled) is???

Left hip pain begins NOW

Back at grandma’s and had a chicken thigh for lunch. I see grandpa is gonna cook shrimp for dinner so I’m not gonna have more yet.

My grandpa’s family left and they forgot their pills so now we have to leave early tomorrow to bring the pills to them. They live in Orlando :/ another early morning car ride is gonna be great...

Shrimp was amazing with the pasta my grandpa made. Very garlicky, but delicious as always.

Took a nap b/c the pain was so bad and no one had any medication. Parents just said put your legs up. Woke up in a puddle of sweat and throbbing hip pain. I’ve had enough and am getting medication

Dad went to the store for me for Ibuprofen and Gatorade. I also asked him for Ice cream b/c I wanted something cold. He came back with Klondike Bars! So worth it!

Pain hasn’t gone away but the pills did take the edge off. Haven’t done much except type and text you. Can’t get comfortable

Might sneak some Coke.... looks tempting....

Gonna go to bed soon and change into PJs, nothing much to write about left. It’s been really nice talking to you. Thank you for talking to me

P.S. : remind me to tell you the “Dick” story in person. My classmate told me a story about her dad that I’d love to tell you but I don’t think it’d translate well through text lol. Just something that happened to her dad. Your conversation with your dad earlier reminded me of it :)
