anyone wanna infodump about the mumbo stealing Grian’s soul thing. I’m forming a headcannon and I’ve only watch seasons 9 and 10 of hc thank you in advance <3
#mumbo jumbo#grian#hermitcraft#in the notes my ask box where ever works.#may I requestion one (1) fandom enjoyer to infodump to me prithee.#how do I ever take myself seriously#anyway it’s the ghoul!grian headcannon#im currently considering 3 options:#1.) grian denies the offer of the soul deal from mumbo#if it wasn’t an offer and mumbo just yoinked/fused their souls I have a more dramatic version of that:#grian wakes up in the middle of the night in a panic and casts some really intense protection spells and ends up singing mumbo’s soul a bit#that’s assuming mumbo wasn’t physically presenting for the yoinking tho so idk#2.) grian goes with the deal offers to do the magic himself and fakes the soul trade/fusing#like maybe he just reshapes a bit of mumbos soul to look like Grian’s or smth#idk I didn’t work out a magic system#3.) mumbo does the soul trade/stealing/fusion and that’s how he find out grian is a ghoul#so basically in this headcannon grian kinda locked his soul in his body with magic and that’s how he became a ghoul#so in this option mumbo goes to do the soul shenanigans and fails and realizes something is up with Grian’s soul#anyway will probably pic one of those after I figure out what will fit best with the cannon soul deal#will likely be doing a bit of modifying to any given option
