#;open#;c.onstantine XI#/for context; during the take of c.onstantinople; canons were constantly used to blast through the walls to make a breach#tho these canons could only be shot off around 7-8 times a day and had to be left to cool off and cleaned bc#there was the risk of overheat which could make the canons explode (which did happen at one point)#during this rest time; the walls surrounding c.onstantinople kept getting repaired each night; so when the canons were fresh again#the walls would be fortified again; and like this it went on and on until the city was eventually taken#so im like;; what if c.onstantine had knowledge in construction and repairing?#or well; f.ate's at least!#he will repair ur doors and make them very sturdy again!💪💪
