He's not afraid of your dad but he's wary of him

He's willing to meet him but avoids him when he can

However Steve is willing to get to know your dad better if you've been together a while

His hands start shaking when he sees a police car and he'll grab your hand for support

He isn't willing to meet your dad until you've been together a long time, and even then you need to reassure him a lot

"Huh, he's pretty normal when he's not in that uniform. I kinda like 'im."

Two-Bit Mathews

Two-Bit hasn't been arrested for anything really serious- it's mostly just been for shoplifting and goofing around in public

Like the time he had a sword fight at the supermarket with Steve using cucumbers

"Hey, Stevie- look at this! It's perfect for fightin'! Hell, why do these things break so easily? Lemme get a new one-"

They broke almost all the cucumbers in half before the police were called

Anyway, Two-Bit is really unfazed by your dad's being an officer

He cracks jokes with him and they get along surprisingly well

Two-Bit doesn't really take much seriously so even when he is in trouble, the cops will probably end up smiling at one of his jokes eventually (your dad's been in this position a couple times)

OOOOOHHHHHH you done got my brainworms acting up again! Also im glad you enjoy my art lol >v< Strap in cause this is gonna be a LOOOONG post! OK SO! Here's how it would go: Paul would be traveling around, searching for pokemon with strong EVs and IVs (yknow, the usual) and like all similar trips he would check in. Paul and Reggie would usually check in like once a week when paul would reach a pokemon center, but Paul hadn't been near one in a while so he thought Reggie would call him on the phone today.

It's been quite a while since Reggie called him (he didn't realise that it was that long) So he tries to call Reggie back. It rings, no answer. He tries again, still nothing. Paul's a little confused but shrugs it off, thinking that his brother is just busy or something and that he'll call him back. So his journey continues, walking along different routes and catching some promising pokemon, but his mind would always wander back to his phone. He eventually reaches a pokemon center and tries to call Reggie that way, and he STILL doesn't pick up. His guts churn a little in concern, Reggie isn't one to forget things like this as he's gotten on Paul's ass about checking in more than once. Paul tries not to worry and think logically as he eventually boards the plane back to Sinnoh. Maybe Reggie is just really busy this time around and forgot to turn his ringer on. Maybe Reggie's phone broke somehow. Maybe Reggie just doesn't want to call him.

Paul sighs to himself, maybe he was just overreacting and his brother was just abscent-minded about the whole thing. He then heads back to Veilstone City with a little pep in his step, thinking of ways snark on his brother about the whole calling thing. Paul would climb the small steps to the porch of their home and he opens the door, ready to yell to his brother in the home. Only...

The house was absolutely trashed. Paul could not believe what he was seeing. There's no way that the house was- He drags his feet along the dirtied floor, furniture was knocked over, many dishes were either left in the sink or strewn about the floor in pieces. He looked out into the backyard- Where was all the pokemon Reggie was raising? It was like someone... someone broke in and- Paul could feel his heart start to race as his trudge turns into a brisk pace as he goes through the entirety of the house. Calling out to his brother as he tried to keep his voice steady. "Reggie? Reggie! Where are you?"

The bathroom. His Room. Reggie's Room. The Kitchen. The Living Room- The Living Room? Paul stopped. Then raced towards his backpack to get his phone in a frenzy and called the police. The Living Room floor was covered in blood.

After the police arrived, Paul went into autopilot, more out of shock if anything. The officers asked him different questions he didn't care to remember, and it was only when a familiar voice piped through the crowd. "Paul? Boy, are you alright?" Paul looks up from the ground to see a broad green suit right in front of him. "...Brandon?" He asks hesitantly. After that day, Brandon took Paul in as Paul couldn't stay at the Tobari house anymore (with it being a crime scene and paul can't pay mortgages off). Arceus, Brandon worried that the police would make Paul a ward of the state but was relieved to know that Reggie put Brandon down as a surrogate guardian to Paul. (my little head canon don't worry bout it ;P).

Paul seemed to completely close himself up, seemingly not wanting to believe that Reggie was now a missing person. He doesn't sleep much, doesn't eat much, and seems to get annoyed or angry at every little thing now. Brandon worries about him.

Paul doesn't want to talk about what happened at all, for he is angry at the world for taking away his big brother. Paul thinks that if he ignores the problem, that it'll go away andReggiewillcomebackand saysorryforleavinghimbehindandPaulcouldsaysorryfor-. But, as feelings do, his emotions reach a boiling point.

It was supposed to be a 'meh' day, Paul didn't know why Brandon tried to confront him about his self-destruction coping mechanisms. Things got heated, and Paul snapped back at him in a visceral rage.

"Why do you care, of all people?!" "So what if he's gone?! It's not like I care! It's not like he cared!" "It's pathetic of him to go missing like that! He had competent pokemon to protect him!" "How did no one notice the house was trashed until then?! Did nobody care to check?!" "Why didn't you check on him?!"

Paul went on his tirade for Arc knows how long, letting all his frustrations out in the open. He probably didn't know the magnitude of what he was saying, nor did he care. His tantrum continued on until he was out of breath. He was never like this, being this emotional, and Brandon just stood there with a knowing expression.

"So what if I wasn't there for him?! So what if he's hurt somewhere?! So what if I-"

"If- If I wasn't-"

"If I wasn't a good enough brother to him...?"

Paul hangs his head low, his figure lightly shaking as tears fell from his cheeks. He just uttered the thing that has been eating at him for weeks. How pathetic he is, saying that in the open, to Brandon of all people. He expects Brandon to reprimand him for saying those horrible things, what he doesn't expect is arms wraping around him in comfort. Paul stiffens and looks up hesitantly, that knowing sad look still on the elder's face. No matter how mature Paul acts or how grown up and knowing he thinks he is.

He's still a little kid.

For Brandon, it eats away at him to see Paul like this. Brandon and the rest of the frontier brains went through something similar.

When Anabel dissapeared.

For Paul to be going through this as he is... Arceus... He'd never dream of it. And yet, here they are.

They stay like that for several minutes before moving to the couch. They sit in silence before Paul whispers a quiet "m'sorry..." "For what?" Brandon answers, A Pause.

"...for sayin' those things t' you... you didn' deserve that.." He moves his head up slowly, eyes red rimmed from tears. "That was pathetic of me to do.. m'sorry."

AGHHHHH

hmmmm i did have fic ideas last night but i dont feel confident enough in my understanding of the characters to write a full fic

so here's snippets/basic layout:

Reigen comes back to the office, and everyones shocked that he's back, because wtf this guys been missing for literally 2 months and they kind of thought he was dead. So they took over the business for him-- but it's really not the same.

As soon as he walks though the door, he's met with just. stunned silence. At first, he's uncomfortable with the silence, like... shit... did he intrude? he's in a very vulnerable emotional state right now. But he gently waves hi and greets everyone, beginning to apologize for being absent for so long-- before mob gets up and comes over to him and hes CRYING (bc this is post s3) and hes just so happy to see his master hes like where were you!?!?!

big reunion, some half hugs shared between mob and reigen, etc. they ask him what happened and he sits down to explain.

he explains what happened while serizawa is cutting his hair and... his voice is so soft and quiet right now, it's unnerving. he's slowly talking too, and still as serizawa cuts his hair. he's choosing his words carefully... it's unlike him.

serizawa asks him if it's a curse on the train, then maybe they should go exorcise it?

reigen begins to answer, suffers through a few false starts and then just puts his head in his hands and mumbles that he doesnt want tothink about the train right now. they leave it be. reigen is also worrying abt his apartment, and having to clean it up.

dimples like "damn, you're really fucked up rn huh?" and reigen, instead of taking the jab, is just like "dimple... please, lay off it for today, okay...? im really... really not in the mood..."

and that gives dimple pause and hes like "... ok. whatever." and leaves.

they talk a bit more, the haircut finishes, and reigen finds out that they were taking care of the place for him while he was gone. but customers have dropped because reigens not there anymore... without his salesman experience, SnS is missing a key component. Reigen is flattered, and says as such. He'll defifnitely come back to work, but... right now, he's gonna go home. Throw out all his expired food and... clean.

as he beginst o leave, he lingers in the doorway for a moment.

"..." He scratches the wall nervously, looking away. "... Would it... be okay if I... came back afterwards? To here?"

Serizawa tilts his head. "Of course, you are the boss--"

"No, I mean... not for... for work." Reigen bites his lip, this is hard for him to say. "... Just to hang out. With... with you....... guys. I don't-"

His shoulders hike up. "Don't want to be alone. at my house. today."

it's silent for a while before they agree wholeheartedly. reigen sighs out his tension and nods, then goes to leave. Serizawa stands and says that, maybe he should walk him back.

so they both walk back to the apartment, but when they get there, oh no!! there's a stranger in his apartment! reigen is ready to fight but the stranger is dimple :) possessing somebody. he took care of throwing out all the expired food and trash for him whwen he left earlier. Reigen looks in his now empty fridge and pantry, save for a few canned goods, in awe. Dimple makes up some excuse of he was bored and then insults reigen over how little food he has-- poor much?

reigen smiles though and laughs a bit to himself.

"Thank you for... doing this, Dimple. I appreciate it."

Dimple is taken aback by the earnest statement and shrugs. "It's whatever. I aint taking care of your roach problem though."

"ROACH!?!??!??! PROBLEM!??!?!"

Dimple laughs at him and pats him on the back. Reigen scowls and shoves him, but he's smiling afterwards. Then a roach skitters across the floor and reigen screams.. Dimple is laughing his ass off and serizawa picks up the roach with his powers and removes it. He says he can take care of the roaches for reigen. Reigen says thank you, and leaves the apartment "to get some fresh air" (to get the fuck away from the roaches)

anyways, after that, they go back to sns and reigen just hangs out for the rest of the day. tome eventually comes in and is happy to see him... reigen falls asleep on the couch... things are nice <3

I'm like a himbo but I'm not conventionally attractive, and I don't got a penis between my legs.

Sidenote: I never really trust men anymore except maybe my brothers and a couple of my cousins but that's really it. I'm a home care worker but I have stressful days but I try to work through every single day. I never notice when something stresses me out until I'm up at night playing video games and I start crying cause "I can't win". But um I went in today and I was already peeved cause of having to get up, I didn't eat breakfast(I rarely do) and on top of that the place I go to , the elevator is always stuck(and I got stuck in it like a couple weeks ago) and I ask my client if I could leave early b/c his apartment smelled awful idk how else to say it. I tried to tell him as well but he didn't care about what I was saying and he started throwing a tantrum like a man child does. And yes he is old but I try to be respectful to everyone as much as I can. And he tells me I can't leave early and that just felt like a red flag already. Sir u can't tell me to do anything unless it's to help around ur house that's mostly it and accompany u places. And the fact he's telling me "I can't" made me super uncomfortable and genuinely scared for my life. Because this man starts snapping at me that I can't leave. It just creeped me the hell out and that's when I up and left. I don't like to be rude to people but it's a respect thing if u cannot respect me, then I don't feel comfortable. This isn't the first time he "snapped" acting very very strange. He later on called me in an attempt to call the office. And idk I tried but i don't understand why weirdos always end up obsessed over me or claiming me in some weird manner. Women have done this too. When all I be doing is existing. And I just feel so out of place. And just creeped out I just want to work and go home and I can't even do that b/c my client wants to be a fucking weirdo.

After what happened im genuinely having a hard time breathing b/c i feel sick to my stomach from what happened. And the apartment just smelled absolutely terrible. Im not even trying to be funny it really did. And I still wanted to respect him and just be kind aka do my job. But idk why this man wants to stress me out. I already have enough going on and u wanna throw a tantrum b/c I asked to leave b/c I felt unwell from the smells in this apartment. And then the fact he acted so weirdly when I asked that made me want to leave even more. And now I'm sick to my stomach cause idk if he's gonna ask for a replacement and I'm just gonna show up on Monday but he'll tell me to leave. Before Monday I'll just call before I visit. Cause wtf andddd I have to go to the home care office and it's fucking far away from where I live. I'm just stressed. Wish I had someone to care about me. And actually LISTEN to understand me

Yeah but I know ppl only care about others if they can benefit or if it's someone close to them.

They still help out ofc but he's the one that manages the finances of the dorm and stuff.

I can also see the adults finding jobs inside outside of campus too for some reason?? Idk what jobs they'd pick tho. Probably the same as the ones in their og world. The ones in hs and uni attend classes and the ones who work just find a job there.

I also saw a comic where they all went at cotsco so now that's canon cause YOU BET Sakyo wouldn't find a supermarket that sells stuff much more cheaper than Sam's.

The day started alright enough The teacher still looked like she didn't like me but that didn't waver any of my enthusiasm

In the break I looked at my desk buddy "What would you say we grow our friend group ?" The girl looked at me anxiously bangs hiding the upper part of her eyes "I....im not really sure about this idea" she mumbled under her nose playing with a hairstrand I just shook my head " No no trust me " I her reassured with a smile "I've done this tons of times!"

my lip trembled a bit as I looked confused at her What was that supposed to mean I was looking at her unsure what to respond when a bump behind us was heard turning I saw a guy had pushed my backpack and my things have fallen to the ground my plushie was on the floor

"Oh what's that ?" He questioned taking it in his hand pointy teeth showing off in his crooked smile as he looked back at me "what is the quirkless kid a fan of heroes ? Well now that's pathetic" I froze in fear for a second looking at him before yelling and running back  " Give it back !"

but before I I reached he threw it " Rikugo catch !" with a laugh the girl with the yellow eyes caught it "what didn't you want to be friends ? let's play a game" I looked pathetically at Kaze asking silently for help but she was just standing in her chair looking at the ground realising I wasn't getting help I balled my fists

Rikugo gave me a laugh playing with the dolls arm

" what don't like the game ?" and just as she finished her sentence I took someone's pencil case and threw it at her face

surprised from the action Rikugo dropped my toy I quickly took it from the ground running to the door but got stopped as the teacher walked inside
