the way my brain works is like, if I have some Thing between right now and some other Thing. Then the second Thing is not close at all. It's too far away to think about. Let's focus on the Thing that's closer and thus more important. And this really fucks with me since work is a Thing that I do often. So yeah, it's really just now hitting me that I have two more rests until I'm flying to Japan lol.
#i mean 3 nights technically but i have to be at the airport at 3am so im not sleeping on monday night#ty talks#i have work tomorrow and that's a bigger Thing bc we're short-staffed this weekend so it takes up more Space than usual#and a smaller bit is that it's my birthday & mothers day (no plans for either) and I'm probably gonna be exhausted after work#so ig ill take a nap and then get packing and then sleep#and all the anxiety that I should've been feeling for like the last two weeks will all hit me on monday ๐#or maybe the trip will still feel fake all the way until im at the airport and thrust into a New Situation#who knows what the future holds for us!#given how much im writing the anxiety must have actually hit now ๐
