Ngl it's really hard as a long time fan who couldn't get tix and who's too poor to afford 2 $500+ tickets (even for nosebleeds)(plus let's not forget travel fees since she isn't coming where I live) not to get kindof bitter seeing so many people going to 3, 4, 5+ dates... like I'm glad you're enjoying yourself but like. It's just really hard not to feel like the message is that this fandom is only for rich fans.

#carmina posting #blondie #idk like whatever. do whatever you want with your money and ffs be a good crowd for her.#but like even with Mitski who we KNEW it was a last tour for and had MUCH fewer seats and less performances in each space like #the demand wasn't AS big but tickets were so much more available during resale #and like... part of me knows it's just different with a popstar but like.#my family was too poor to do fearless even when i got invited #speak now and red i didn't even ask bc i knew it'd be the same even though again i was invited by friends #1989 i was homeless (rip)#and then rep i was not homeless but was REALLY financially unstable and tickets to that werent even a thought #so im just sitting here crying rn bc this artist that i have literally grown up with #who inspired so much of my gender presentation and was there during the hardest 2 years of my life #(bc i was homeless in NY but like. it still felt HOPEFUL bc of her music mostly as well as a few bright spots)#im just. never going to be rich enough to see.#like im disabled.#i will literally NEVER be rich enough to see her bc these ticket prices aren't going to go down next tour #so idk. just feeling reallt burnt out and hopeless rn.
