He is usually very sensitive and irrational when emergencies to those he loves are happening but the moment literally everyone important in his life (except for maddie and the show’s kids) went down and he IMMEDIATELY jumped to action!! He acted like the captain!!! Like it was Hen but he was giving all the instructions on what to do and personally went to rescue each single member himself!!!! The season started with him being told he couldn’t be captain yet. And i 100000% agreed when it happened because others simply have more experience but this!!!! This?????? He BODIED being the captain here. Like maddie and athena he didn’t allow himself to break down. Even when it came about bobby being mia!!!! BOBBY HIS FATHER!!!

- the moment athena said she found bobby all jumped into action oh my god. Eddie could barely walked and rushed there. Hen was seeing doubles and rushed there. Chim was bleeding from being pretty much impaled and still tried to get out of the gurney to try to go help the second he heard bobby’s name!!! Buck pretty much lead the operation to get bobby out!!!!!

- something amazing about the fact that the kid risked it all to help others. I thought from spoilers he was gonna KNOW it was bobby and the 118 that had rescued him and thats why he was gonna help. But he didn’t until the end!!!! He did it because he wanted to!!! And when both him and bobby realized it they didn’t have to say anything!!! Just understood!!!! With the name of the ep being pay it forward that was so touching!! Bobby and the 118 risked dying to save that kid once. And he risked dying to help others and try to help bobby not even knowing who he was!!!! Makes me believe in humanity again for real (which side note but i was reading about comfort women earlier, which ik historically a lot about them already but i was reading a thread about a book full of anecdotes of survivors and those who didn’t and my god i needed to be reminded humanity is not just full of completely vile and evil people).

- Chim’s dopey smile holding maddie’s hand is everything. Wonder if that was a love thing or an acting choice to be dopey bc he was on morphine LMAOO. Still the cutest ever.

if i had DID id switch out more, especially when triggered or in situations where it would help. idk if i even switch out, i prob js fall asleep, wake up and do shit in the early stages of waking up i dont remember. instead my alters are just back there and do nothing when im being retraumatized and i have to call out mentally loudly to get any alters to respond anymore. then just trying to communicate with them gives me a headache from hell. proof enough my alters are delusions and im some psycho. most of my "alters" are just vague faces with voices and not much of identity. most of them fade away. just like delusions.

other people with DID feel broken and suffer because of their trauma. they remember it somehow and suffer from the effects of it. i just suffer from wanting to have the trauma to be valid, not knowing if the trauma happened and having things trauma victims have but no memories of the trauma. the only flashbacks i have are to things i deserve, things that other people would agree i deserve and arent anywhere near as traumatizing as it can get for a real sexual abuse survivor. things that dont cause DID and rarely cause ptsd. i have cringe ass trauma. i dont have valid trauma.

i dont really have DID and i wasnt sexually abused. i just held onto the idea as an excuse for me being a worthless, born broken, jealous, delusional psycho pervert who will never amount to anything, never matter enough to get a job, marry or have a family, never mattered enough to be smart or do normal kid things because of my disabilities, never got to be cool and wont be, am trying to be cool and matter when i never will, am so ugly my body doesnt deserve love and sure as fuck wasnt sexually desired as a little kid how fucking sick of me to even want that to matter, and dont matter because of my disabilities. im sorry for faking it all. no wonder my denial was so strong, it was never real anyway. now im gonna do some major fucking harm to my ugly waste of space and resources body and kill myself. im fucking sick and tired of living in hell from my own brain torturing me saying im worthless and not valid and more i cant say here. good fucking bye.

i know you've probably had enough about Dental Discourse but im still reeling over the idea that brushing your teeth, a preventative measure, can... reverse tooth decay?? apparently?? so we can all forget about trying to make dental care more accessible and just hand out free toothbrushes??

The sad part was people claiming that diet doesn’t decay your teeth which...is literally what decays teeth Lmaooo. Like for 15 mins after you take a sip of anything but water, your teeth are being destroyed for that 15 mins. This is why dentists constantly warn parents to not give their children anything but water after they are done nursing/bottle feeding.

In my mind I was thinking about situations that people cannot control, as well. Like for an example when buggy was born, for some reason her top front teeth came in and I watched myself the enamel of her teeth come of like a hard candy shell. It happened within about two weeks of her getting each tooth in. She was in absolute agony, and her teeth immediately started to decay. This was when she was about 2. I went to several dentists and they explained she had a genetic disorder, one similar to the disease you can get that makes your bones brittle. He suggested as soon as the other two top tooth come in, to get them pulled. The bad news is, while the insurance covered part of the procedure, it did not cover any of the anesthesia, we had to come up with 7 thousand dollars or our daughter would suffer in agony with 4 teeth all sensitive enough she cried constantly. The other tooth popped out pretty quickly, we were able to come up with the money, we paid it in cash to the anesthesiologist, and she had her teeth pulled in surgery and had caps put on some of her top molars. The dentist does not believe it will affect her adult teeth.

I just...remember Portia crying in pain because of it for that last month waiting for the little baby tooth to come in so we can pull it. I can’t imagine if we would have been in a place we couldn’t pay the 7 thousand dollars. My baby would have to suffer. And we even struggled then, because only my husband worked. Most of their arguments were “poor people can fully control their situation”.

And in my experience, no one does. No one controls medical conditions, deaths, disabilities, etc. My dad didn’t control the fact he was fired because the company told him he was a “liability” after he broke his neck, fully recovered but had some minor hand paralization, my daddy Allen didn’t control the fact that although he was a wealthy buisness man, he would die when I was 7, and my mother, brother, and me would be shoved out like we were piles of trash. I remember Christmas that year, my mom bought me and my brother play dough, glitter play dough, for Christmas, and she spent all day making jewelry and things with us. She used to call powdered evaporated milk “magic milk” because all you need to do is add water and poof! Milk!!

People in poverty are not stupid, drug addicts, who abuse their families and don’t know how to budget. They are smart. They know how to cook for a family on 3 dollars a meal. They know how to keep their feet warm and dry in cold temperatures with out boots (you put plastic bags over your socks before you put your foot in the shoe), they are resilient, and they are good, and they are hardworking. staring at you from the bar, a rather hot guy smiles at you once the two of you lock eyes, gesturing you to come closer. you look around and point at your chest, as if saying 'who, me?'; he nods yes. looking around once again, you try searching for your friends in the busy crowd to check if they knew the guy, but to no avail; everyone was either having other conversations, playing games, or they were just nowhere to be found.

stepping closer to the guy, he holds up a finger to the bartender, ordering another shot of soju. looking at the empty glasses that were already on the bar, he seems to have already drank a few shots. "hey gorgeous" he says, pushing a stool towards you to sit on. "how come you're all alone on this beautiful night?" he asks.

"oh, just the regular," you chuckle, as the bartender placed your shot in front of you. you nodded kindly at him before turning back to the kind stranger. "you know the drill; got dragged here after a break up to find some distraction, friends left me alone, all that bullshit."

he smiles a little and looks around. "they're not looking out for you, either..? because you're exactly the kind of girl those gross and nasty guys like me would hit on. that's so irresponsible, guys like that are just so- ew.." he says playfully, making you laugh a little as you down the shot of soju with ease. "you're one smooth motherfucker, you know that?" you say, ordering another drink.

"oh- just saying, you ordered more alcohol, so if you get wasted, end up fucking me and regret it in the morning, it's not my business" he says. once again, he makes you laugh so effortlessly like the times before, even though you have only known him for a few minutes.

"shit- i'm sorry, i forgot to introduce myself. i'm jackson. jackson wang" he says, urging to hold out his hand but pulling it back once he mumbles that's too formal. "great to meet you, jackson," you smile, holding up your hand, palm to the ceiling. "give me your phone and i'll tell you my name" you demand.

not even doubting your intensions, he smiles contently and hands you his phone. "you knew what i was gonna do, huh?" you say when you see a new contact on the screen, ready to be filled in. "i'm the master of flirting, stranger." he scoffs as you type in your name and number. taking back his phone, he stares at the letters on his screen.

"y/n, hm? that's a pretty name. it suits you" he says, looking at you, then his phone, and once again back to you. "you think so? why's that?" you ask. "like i said, it's a pretty name, just like you"

a blush paints your cheeks a cute red that compliments your makeup and outfit. he seems to notice this, as he tells you how dope your accessories are. "i love your earrings" he says, pushing your hair to the side to admire the studs lining along your earlobe. "i love your necklace" you nervously respond, pushing the hand that was next to your face and about to touch your ear aside so you could look at the golden chinese symbol hanging from his neck.

"it says 'wang'.. stands for my last name and it translates to 'king'. it's perfect, since i'm a king." he says, boosting his own ego a bit. "what are you a king of exactly?" you ask, staring at the pendant for a few more seconds.

"you. which makes you my servant, and you should do as i say." he jokes, making you scoff. "the king's got some tension right here, hm? can you fix that?"

you sigh and push his hands off of yours. "one more sex-related remark and i will actually start considering not going home with you." you say confidently, making him roll his eyes. "as if i'm not gonna talk you into coming with me anyway." he answers.

the two of you keep on talking for the rest of the evening effortlessly, and as tough and manly as he seems, he's funny, soft and really kind. it's no surprise you ended up in the back of his car at midnight, lips crashed together.

"one second-" you pant, taking your phone to see that one your friends is calling. "it's okay, baby, you're with me now.." jackson groans, pushing your phone down and leaning in to continue the sweet kisses. "no- i really have to get this, they're probably worried sick.." you say. admiring the kindness in your voice, he pulls back with a smile. you pick up after swooping your hair to the side, hearing your friend go off worriedly about how they searched the entire place and didn't find you anywhere.

"yeah- yeah, i left already. sorry i didn't text you," you say, watching jackson twirl a strand of your hair into a shiny wave. "no, it's fine, i've got a ride back home, right?" you ask, looking at jackson. he nods, before taking your phone out of your hand. "hey y/n's friend, y/n's future-husband here.. i just want to say that i'll give her a ride back, on one condition." he says.

you raise an eyebrow, telling him to stop whatever he's doing as you hear your friend cursing at him for being a 'filthy playboy-kidnapper-hybrid'. "sweetheart, it's nothing like that," he sighs, massaging his temples slightly. "she's gonna stay the night at my house. i'll bring her back home safe and sound tomorrow, i promise." he says, before hanging up. you shake your head with a roll of the eyes and a scoff. "you could've just said 'hey, this is y/n's hookup and she's staying over for sex.' but you just had to be a mysterious little bitch about it, huh?" you say, hanging your arms around his neck as you lean in for a kiss.

"you know it, baby" he says, pushing your phone back into your purse before getting back to business in the backseat of his spaceous car. "let's just make sure you forget about your ex tonight, and make you fall in love with me, if that's cool with you" he suggests, pushing the strap of your top down your shoulder.

coming down from a second high that night, you collapse on the bed, chest raising and falling from heavy breathing. jackson rolls over to kiss your forehead and lets his fingertips glide over the dark rose petals of red and blue he made over your neck, chest and stomach.

"usually, guys that hit on me just want a quick fuck before ditching me. you're different.., i like that" you say softly, feeling so at home next to him.

soft buzzing fills the comfortable silence, and you pick up your phone to see it was exploding with messages in you and your friends' group chat.
