Yea I often think about stuff like this. Usually there is the “nice guy” vs the “dangerous guy who seduces you”. Like I know some people say zero has bad boy appeal, but let’s be real. He doesn’t. He ain’t shit like that 😂

Kaname is the man you can’t help but be drawn to. He is the one who is the magnet for good girls! That’s why I was into this manga at first and why I still stick around despite knowing it’s gone. Kaname was the dream guy that with the darkness inside him that appeals to good girls. I related a lot to Yuuki in that regard! She was thirsty! I was like finally a story where the sexy erotic dangerous guy is crazy about the plain good girl too! Kaname is for the female gaze let’s be real even if u hate him it’s true common. So it doesn’t make sense that Yuuki would even entertain zero when already having the pureboood king at her knees lmao. Like really? That’s like having diamonds and still whining about pebbles lol. I feel bad for being so harsh with Zero even tho I don’t like him lol… I know some very cool Zero fans. But xD

I read a theory that said Zero was never supposed to exist. And that was the editor that wanted him to exist cuz she liked him so much and wanted a love triangle .I also think Hino doesn’t know how to write a romance when the two leads already have attraction for each other. Maybe she thinks there isn’t much else to tell. So she focused the story more on Zero and Yuuki because she literally didn’t see him as anything more than a brother at first and it fills the pages. Then she meant to have Kaname and Yuuki end up together but by then people grew attached to zeki’s development and missed the point of yume.

I truly don’t think zero was supposed to be that relevant but Hino extended his role to milk the manga lol. That’s why arc 2 and vkm make no sense. I think he was supposed to fufill his purpose to kill Rido and either die or stay chasing Yuuki for eternity to try to kill her. Let’s be real, this guy was never supposed to end up with Yuuki, Hino changed it to please the interpretations of what Zekis took out of the story lol

Hino is an idiot but she’s a Kaname simp. She just chose money and to play it safe over Kaname 😂but yea I would’ve loved this story more if basically the premise changed lol. I love the idea in canon that Kaname saved Yuuki when she was a child with no memories or anything and the story begins and ends with them. But this approach didn’t end up working so well. Like you said, it would’ve been better if she was with zero first and then she meets Kaname second and falls for him despite knowing she shouldn’t. And then their development of their attraction building and then it coming together and exploding. I just like this approach more of Yuuki and Kaname being the main protagonists while Zero plays a smaller role in this “love triangle”. Maybe we can still keep the they were destined all along theme of Yuuki regains her memory that it’s actually Kaname she met first long ago. Or maybe we can still keep Kaname watching over her being a silent protector but he made sure not to interact with her until destiny had them meet again. Damn if, now I’m seriously thinking of writing a fanfic like this 😂

Like I think it’s a shame the fantasy was ruined because society is so used to identifying with nice guys and “underdog” men. Like this isn’t real life! We’re allowed to have stories where we get the unattainable guy to look our way! Lmao. What’s the point of ruining the fantasy with a downgrade! Irl most of us end up with the downgrade anyway I want some good escapism fiction 😂

Or like Hino could’ve taken lessons from Stephanie Meyer who never detracted from her vision. She was able to write a love triangle with meeting the dark broody erotic guy first then falling for the good guy but loving and choosing the first guy and it worked out well. I think it all came down to Hino’s flaw of focusing on Zeki’s development first lol. That was her downfall

is it weird if it makes me glad you post about jk and his little "jeonlous"/possessive moments towards jm? i tried talking about it on a few jikook blogs in the past and got called out for it and i don’t really get why some jikookers are so careful to even suggest jk might be a bit possessive of his bf.. meanwhile some other jikookers greatly exaggerate those moments or see them everywhere. jm is insanely attractive, he has this sort of special aura and magnetism that makes both men and women be drawn to him, i don’t find it weird that jk could be a bit worried about that. i honestly found it quite cute, but i was told i should question myself if i find display of jealousy cute cause it’s toxic blah blah blah so i started doubting myself. but i wasn’t talking about toxic behavior, jk never came across to le as controlling or creepy or anything like that but just madly in love and probably a bit insecure. much less now it seems, i’m happy he seems more confident. for some people it seems that there is no nuance, it’s either good or bad.. i like reading your posts, you don’t seem to be constantly on the edge it’s appreciable really

First of all, people who say Jikook don't get jealous.. fuck these people with a cactus. People be shouting Jikook is real from the rooftop but nitpick which parts of their relationship are worth acknowledging. Some have been brainwashed by big accounts that hate the jeonlous, Jimlous narrative. Which I get. Alright? I understand. This has been greatly exergerrated but it doesn't mean it's none existent. 1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

hmmm i'd say probably a healthy mix of the two? i have to plot/outline something (even just a pwp oneshot) before i dive in, i am definitely not the kind of person who can fly by the seat of their pants. however i also really like striking while the iron is hot, bc i feel like the words usually flow the fastest when an idea is fresh. so i'll at least try to ride the wave of dopamine and outline an idea in full as soon as i get it 😂 writing the actual thing usually takes much longer!

2. Where do you get your fic ideas?

honestly i don't even know half the time 💀 sometimes a friend will say something to me and my brain just zooms, sometimes it's partially based off my own life, sometimes it's based off something i read or watched or heard in a song. i just have a very overactive imagination lmao!!

6. What’s the last line you wrote? & 7. Post a snippet from a wip.

i'm combining these two together bc the last two lines i wrote are funny and not really a spoiler for anything so here u go:

oneshots for sure! i've loved writing my series but it's certainly a labor of love. it's a much deeper commitment required!! and i'm a commitment-phobe 😅

i'd say 9/10 times i have a working title while i'm writing the fic, and that usually ends up becoming the title, tho sometimes i change them last minute (it's sweet was almost called that's life, for example 👀) - and i usually steal my titles from songs, tho not necessarily always songs that inspired the work in question (for example it's sweet is a liz phair song but it.... is very off-brand for that fic 😂)

25. What’s your favorite part of the writing process (worldbuilding, brainstorming/outlining, writing, editing, etc)?

i always joke with my friends that i like everything about it except writing, lmfao. i LOVE outlining, plotting, brainstorming, and i LOVE editing and polishing. but i fucking hate drafting so much 👹 WHY CAN'T THE WORDS JUST PUT THEMSELVES ON THE PAGE

Can I ask for advice? I have been talking to this guy for a week (met online) and we decided to meet in person this week. I got really bad anxiety because he wanted to do some sexual stuff so I asked if he wants to push back the date or we cancel for now because it makes me anxious. Since I sent him that text he hasn’t answered. I asked him we can meet after all if he wants and that if he was mad but he didn’t answer at all and it’s been nearly two days. The initial date was supposed to be tomorrow night and now I don’t know if I should send one last text asking if we will meet or not. I don’t know why I am so attached when it’s been only one week and I feel so bad suggesting we cancel and I feel like now he hates me I just wish he at least gave a reply because idk what to do

Don’t send another text! And if he answers with a ‘yes’ say you changed your mind. Seriously. No one should ever EVER be made to feel pressured into doing anything sexual with anyone no matter how long you’ve known them - and considering you’ve known this person for such a short time, please look at this as the red flag that it is and consider yourself lucky to have dodged that bullet! Cus if he’s like this this early? Damn.. let’s just say it will not get better. This is manipulative, rude and selfish behavior 101! It would be best for your mental state to try to cut this guy out of your life (so in that regard I hope he doesn’t answer you cus I know that “magnetic pull” some ppl can have over u and it’s so damn hard to turn them away!!). I suffer from severe anxiety myself and when that is not respected? No. There’s no justification for that, in my book. Sounds like he’s looking for something other than what u are. You sound like the sweetest person and my heart would break if something happened to you other than understanding, patience and selfless love. Ur too good for this guy. Red flags everywhere! Dealing with anxiety you need a very reliable, understanding, patient person who doesn’t pressure you (which we all deserve really, not only those of us with anxiety). So pls try to put him out of your mind! Start talking to other ppl. Listen to some music that cheers u up, read something cozy, look at some highland cows or babydoll sheep and just please respect and love yourself enough to ditch even the thought of this dude! AUSTRALIA - They're totally in. Not much to elaborate, seems to be greatly appreciated so far, and the juries will appreciate it too. Q

GEORGIA - Lmao Georgia being Georgia and sendig whatever the hell they want. This song is kinda fun and inoffensive but will def not qualify...this semi is way too hard. NQ

CYPRUS - SO fkin glad they choose something different than a girl diva pop banger. This will get televotes, the juries...I don't know. Maybe yes? I'm putting Q but it will depend a lot on the staging.

SERBIA - This has such an interesting beat and message. Sadly, I don't think either the televote or jury will understand it enough to sneak in the top 10. However, I've seen this being pretty popular with the eurofans...plus Montenegro and North Macedonia will most likely vote for it. Bloc voting ftw Borderline?

FINLAND - Ah, yes. Finland and their trademark rock. Maybe they will qualify, and The Rasmus is a pretty popular band just like how Hooverphonic was last year. I'd say Q

AZERBAIJAN - I'm writing this before their act reveal, I'm going to be very honest, they're Azerbaijan. They have revealed to have a Swedish production behind so I don't have to say anything more, they are in. Q

SAN MARINO - Yeah, I don't see this qualifying...though I can see the televote placing it around 9th, 10th-ish? I also have a feeling that the juries will hate it with a passion lmao, most countries placing this last or 2nd to last. NQ

ISRAEL - Ngl the revamp didn't help this with anything...I think this might be an NQ but his voice alone is very, like very good and might get some votes. I don't know, NQ at the moment.

MALTA - Malta, honey, what did u do? You went from basic girl pop song to basic girl pop song lmao. The new song...I think it's slightly better than the old one, though I think it still has like zero chances. The uplifting message feels very very superficial and I don't think anyone will find it inspiring...NQ

MONTENEGRO - Jury magnet, that's all I can say. This is really good, ngl, Montenegro really stepped up their game. I'm feeling Q with them this year. So proud 😭 Speaking of Proud...I can see the fate of N. Macedonia 2019 in Breathe. Will definitely score well with the juries. Q

ROMANIA - Oh boy. Look, I really want us to qualify, and missing the finals for 3 years straight for a country that used to qualify every year in the past is...sad. WRS is one hell of a performer, and seeing how he improved the show from the semifinals to the final in just 2 weeks is insane. So I'm pretty sure that what we'll see in May will be even better than what we saw in the national final. Maybe even better vocals. But since this (imo) semifinal is really stacked, with countries that almost never miss out any final (Australia, Sweden, Cyprus, Azerbaijan...hell even Serbia), I don't know how this will do. This year, however, I feel the televote will rank us higher than the juries, as opposed to past years, when juries ranked us higher. I'm putting this as "Borderline" at the moment.

CZECH REPUBLIC - I used to think this will qualify. I really did, and I want to, because this song rocks. But I saw their performance in Romania's NF and...okay, maybe she had problems with the in-ear but Domi was really off key during the entire performance. This can probably miss out in the finals simply because of that. Hope it was just a minor problem that couldn't make her able to sing well. Otherwise, probably I'm putting this at Borderline.

POLAND - Oh dear, how over- I mean I saw this being so appreciated in the fandom, and is also the kind of ballad that appeals to juries. So, no need to explain more, this is Q

BELGIUM - I like this, but I have no idea how well it will do, really 😂 it would either NQ or score in the Top 10, nothing in between. Borderline? Q? I'm not sure at all, can't tell to save my life.

NORTH MACEDONIA - Aww, good effort, North Macedonia. I don't think this has a big chance...maaaybe the juries will kind of like it, but otherwise...maybe it can improve with the staging? NQ

SWEDEN - Again, I'm writing this before we get to listen to their act, Sweden will Q because they're Sweden. Either if they choose Cornelia, or Bagge (read somewhere he could win it because of his popularity - so maybe Tix vibes?) they are in. Lesgo Cornelia ur 100% in the final. Q

ESTONIA - Same story as with Greece, I see him easily qualifying, it's a safe song that appeals to both televote and juries. Q
