people on tumblr trying to explain "neurotypical behavior" is so funny to me because like...you're wrong
#originals#just wild generalizations like: they hate asking questions and they never have hobbies are interests#it does kind of piss me off because i have acted in ways that people describe as “neurotypical”#ie getting upset about something said in good faith because i misinterpreted it#and it's because i have anxiety from being raised by parents with poor communication and emotional regulation skills#and on top of that was lightly bullied in school for a while#so i can be paranoid and sensitive and hypervigilant and always on the lookout for secret commands and hidden insults#i'm working on it but yeah#it's not because i'm an evil neurotypical who is reading subtext into your subtextless words out of pure spite#and i think sometimes when people are mad at you out of nowhere it might be because they as individuals are Going Through It#and not because of the great neurotypical conspiracy!
