Ghoul!grian au is taking over my head again… wait have I even posted about this before. anyway ima talk about it now

basically grian dies sometime during yj BUT he was messing around with necromancy for (my fic) plot reasons so he accidentally did/got some necromancy on himself. so he was alive for a long enough time to bind his soul to his own body. then he became a ghoul!! he may or may not have had to magically induce the rest of puberty so he didn’t fall to the fate of being 16/17 forever which doesn’t affect that plot but is mildly funny to think about. Also grian can go intangible purely because it’s silly

Grian doesn’t end up becoming a watcher because you kinda need a heartbeat to do that. I am a watcher!skyblings enjoyer so I have considered making pearl a watcher and grian not.

hypothetical fic idea would be various hermitcraft members finding out grian is a ghoul through comedic means. fic would mostly be with characters that could figure out he isn’t a regular shmegular human for lore reasons (Cleo because zombies and ghouls are similar, skizz because angel, phantom!Etho because hostile mobs don’t affect the needing everyone to sleep thing)
