Character Information LIV : Seedlauncher and Oath Occaisonally, especially when things do not go her way or she does not want to discuss why she is helping someone, Ziv is stating that she is bound by an oath she swore. Of course one could simply assume that she is as a Healer bound by the Star Wars Equivalent of he Hippocratic Oath and this usually makes sure whoever she is dicussing with is shutting up. However, Ziv actually never made that Oath or any Oath in paticular- as someone growing up in the Jedi Temple she naturally has taken over the philosophy of beeing a servant to all of Life in the Galaxy, but this philosophy can be seen from Jedi to Jedi differently. Ziv sees this philosophy that she is bound to help, serve, nurture and specially not kill whoever needs her help as a Healer. Be that a person someone who is a friend or someone who had just shot with a blaster at her. An example for that would be the theards with @sithisms wherein Ziv sticks around with an by The Sickness infected Exar Kun, because he is sick and she feels bound to help and heal him even if he is a Sith. And she also really can´t stand him or anything he stands for. But he is a sentient beeing needing healing and therefor she is bound to help, because she is round him and there and she can help and therefor she must help. Which obviously had also trapped her many times in morally questionable situations. Thats her philosophy, yet philosophys can be dicussed and argumented with. And Ziv really does not want anyone to dicuss with her that part of her philosophy, so she shuts those dicussions up by stating that she is bound by an oath. After all an Oath someone is bound to can not that openly be discussed with, because they definitive made their choice already.

Which is also the reason why she has a Seed Launcher as a primary weapon, because she can simply load the agricultural device with seeds that she can fire at someone and then control the seeds into ranks that hold someone down and away from her. Aiaia, after all allowed to tap into Zivs lifeenergy and grow in the manner of seconds to act as Zivs guard and help, is in that manner also bound to Zivs oath, because the Reeksa would usually just eat someone, but is trained not to do. Ziv started in her concept with a blaster, than had a slugthrower so she could make sure she does not hit vitals and eventually now she has a Seed-launcher. That does not mean that Ziv has any problems with turning someone attacking her into a screaming Torso by blasting their limbs away with Granade moss or poison someone or temporaily paralyse limbs by using her skills in Makashi by pressing acupuncture points or gas someone or break a few bones or drug someones brain into the most horrible hallucination possible, to keep them off her pelt, but she will never actively kill someone. And she is giving her best to hold to this part of her philosophy, in fact all her attire is collected to make sure she does not ever come into a situation in which she woud need tokill someone. Obviously that had bitten her in the ass many times.

This oath also extends to her Inquisitor!-version. However, the group of people who fall under the category of “all life” is expectionally smaller and only consists of a group of former AgriCorps Adepts back on Byss who had been in the chambe rnext to hers when she had been captured. And everyone else in the Galaxy is free to suffocate on by her manipulated moldspores growing explosivly in their lungs and blocking their windpipe from the inside.
