i just want to say fuck u to burton s dewitt, i dont know you but you need to learn to write, those sentences are ridiculous and incomprehensible, honestly imo some of the worst modern legal writing i've ever tried to engage with

additionally thank u to maxi scherer <3 i love ur clear and distinct use of definitions and ur incredible structure and subheadings, ur article covered nearly the same ground as dewitt, was 20 pages longer, and yet i read it in prob half the time cause ur just that good queen

#was researching for an essay and i can't express how dewitt's article was sending me into the deepest pits of despair #and frustration that i couldn't understand their points #so grateful to scherer for setting things out so clearly #i feel like i can actually understand it now #anyone else in the international legal theory fandom #international law #tagging it for fellow fans of BIT enforcement <3
