lately ive been soooooo mentally drained by research & resentful of my own decision to be in academia but i finally finally snapped into the paper im working on and there is literally nothing like the feeling when all the pieces start coming together

#my brain is soup rn but i can feel a thesis percolating.....#so funny ive been devouring vyvanse for days desperately trying to force myself to sit down and work #and just completely failing like full blown despair and panic #and tonight i finally gave up and went to bed #and then i smoked half a joint and something clicked #and ive been working in my bed for three hours straight #just me & my bag of beef jerky & giant mason jar of lemon water #saturns return......i am listening and learning
