Valen's POV: yeah its been like 20 years of self imposed exile but im doing pretty good actually

Doomguy after being locked in a cursed sarcophagus for millennia:

Extremely funny to me that the Slayer's Testament establishes doomguy as being king of the night sentinels in the first age (whenever THAT fucking is) and follows him across eons, then has him locked in his sarcophagus for ??? Many years, potentially millennia, ans then in Eternal we have to go talk to Valen, doomguy's former commander in the night sentinels, who is just. Still alive for some reason.
