#journey to the west#sun wukong#the monkey king#so guess who just learned about sun wukong on youtube today#overly sarcastic productions#original#i watched all the parts they have released so far and then watched a 2 hour chinese movie from 2013 & then another from a different studio#is it inappropriate to ship the monkey and the monk? they shipped the monk with a lady in the movie. really like... way too aggressively#like he was NOT INTO HER and they REALLY SOLD HOW SHE WAS NOT BEING COOL ABOUT THIS#and then at the end it is like and actually he DID love her and I'm like#y'all. what is this a marvel movie ?? i liked basically everything else in the film though#so far the slapstick in these chinese action movies fucking rules i love this horrible monkey demon and pigsy always makes me laugh#i gotta watch more foreign films#also rip to all those little girls getting eaten to show how evil these demons are i was NOT prepared#both movies introduce demons with them eating entire families#i want to cosplay as the monkey king but i know enough to not do that because i am white. so i will just very much love this character#i also really like Sandy aka WATER DILF#and tripitaka's case of Resting Damsel Face and being The World's Most Edible Man#like if aang were absolutely useless in a fight it is so funny#all monkey does is rescue this man and we love to see it
